- João (7/5): -
- Kamal Krishna (5/5): - Decent rooms and amenities. AC wasn't working, the view from the balcony is ok, doesn't give the holiday vibes.
- Shrikant (5/5): - Hotel management was not really cooperative Behaviour and hospitality
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Sue (6/5): One night was enough - The restaurant food was good The location and the pool did not look like the photo on website
- Micheal (6/5): It was ok but for the price paid was expecting more. - It was spacious. The toilet clogged up and the bathtub shower was clogged too. They fixed the toilet immediately but even though they didn’t offer to change rooms or anything.
- Kirsty (8/5): Good location, pretty pool, expensive laundry! - Reception area beautiful and a pretty roof top pool!
Rooms had AC and wifi, but quite basic & slightly dated decor.
Laundry exceptionally expensive - have never paid so much for laundry, not even in a London hotel! Go out to get laundry done!
- Kirvyn (10/5): - I felt like at home.
- rezasM1465ML (8/5): Normal hotel - It was a normal hotel , not bad not good , staff where good , location was friendly, building was normal , you can walk to train street and walking street
Room size was OK
At the end if you don't have much expectations it's a good hotel...........
- Dan (9/5): Superb - The staff were friendly & helpful throughout my stay. Great hotel for the solo traveller as it was clean & secure.
I didn't realise the distance from the hotel to the city centre when booking (my error). It was only 2 km, which i did walk, but nothing to see on the walk-in. Grab motorbike was only 5-7 mins in.
The pool upstairs was clean, but the pool lining was coming apart as you went further into the pool.
- Capt.lambay (9/5): Superb -
- SudheerS114 (4/5): Poor behavior of front office staff - Me along with 2 families visited on 29th September. Hotel and Rooms are managed ok. We hardly stayed in hotel due to busy itinerary, this was the 1st day of our 10 day Vietnam trip and it left us a bad experience with hotel staff.
We are charged 100,000 VND stating that 2 hand napkins were missing during our check out. I wonder how it happened and we were very sure that no napkins were placed in the room. The staff were least bothered and gave no room for explanation, we also said to check our baggage. For me it is not about the money, it is about the insult they did for 2 napkins.
I would advise the guests to be careful about their behavior .
- Capt.lambay (8/5): Very good - It was in all a good Trip
- Mukoso (9/5): Great stay - The hotel was nice and modern and the staff were very helpful and even help us stow our luggage while we went on an overnight cruise.
- Govender (7/5): Good - Spacious room, enough cupboard space. Shower inside the bathtub instead of shower only made it slightly uncomfortable to get inside tub.
- Samrat (5/5): Passable -
- Vipul (7/5): Good -
- Brendan (9/5): Superb -
- Govender (7/5): good - spacious and clean rooms. shower I'm bathtub. a fully built shower would have been better.
- vivekdudheria (10/5): Cosy- centrally located - Very cosy and centrally located in Hanoi. The rooms are of decent size and best part for us vegetarians from India. We had good indian fare in the breakfast buffet, something we did not find anywhere in Vietnam during our trip. Courteous staff.
- Sonia (9/5): Superb -
- juliewU8058WR (6/5): Not a 4 star hotel - Bring your earplugs. We spent just one night at La Casa on a tour. It is in the French quarter and not awful but not great. Worse part - the connecting doors between rooms allow lots of noise. At 11.30am at night the TV is so loud I can hear it through my earplugs. Not quiet the 4 star hotel we were promised.
- Truong (7/5): Good - Tasty Indian food. Local herbs. Quiet room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very basic room. Poor service on arrival - Is this hotel even in Vietnam? The country known for great service? Carry your own bags to the room. Bedroom was ghastly. Don’t be taken in by the picture of the pool. Plenty of other great hotels with pools. Bar closes at 10. Breakfast not worth getting up for.
- Masaya (7/5): Good -
- Chavan (9/5): SAtisfied - good
- vinaya839 (10/5): La Casa Hanoi Hotel - Very nice hotel in Hanoi with honest staff and management. I stayed in Room number 609 on 20 th July 2024 with my friend, and check out next day to go for a cruise on 21st July and on around 5 pm , I found that I had forgotten my gold chain with some lockets. when i enquired with the hotel through Mr.Divyansh and Mr.Hemang Dixit from Thrillophilia (My Tour company) it's noted that these are found by the Hotel Staff. A lady House keeper found these. I so impressed by the honesty with that particular staff as well as Management. I strongly recommend staying at La casa Hanoi Hotel , if you want to actually enjoy your Hotel stay without facing any issues .
- Venkata (9/5): Superb - Clean and friendly staff If Indian food also there in menu at least 2-3 vegetarian Indian dishes will be good. Many Indians are coming there.
- renjithomas54 (10/5): Nice Hotel - Excellent buffet breakfast with a vast choice. Friendly staff at restaurant and reception. Large lobby .Most of the guests were tourist from all over. Rooms were spacious and neat. The linen was clean .
You are provided with just two coffee/tea sachets
- Tina (5/5): Hotel was chosen by tour company, it was good but not great. - Staff very helpful and friendly. Location too far from centre, pool area very disappointing, beds extremely hard and uncomfortable.
- Jan (10/5): - Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly
- 750dimitrisl (8/5): Nice hotel - La Casa Hanoi Hotel was one of the hotels we stayed in Hanoi. A nice hotel, with welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Our room was lovely and clean with all essentials provided. Breakfast was varied and enough to satisfy guests tastes. We would recommend this hotel.
- Marek (3/5): Disappointed - Nothing The La Casa definitely is not 4 stars hotel. The hotel on the picture is very nice but opposite in the reality. Rooms and some stuffs are dated, carpet was very stained and dirty. Towels were terrible – too dark and too small. Smelly corridor and no air condition. Even not enough tea in room. There's no real hotel bar. They serve drinks in the very tiny rooftop restaurant. The pool is very small and decking around pool is broken which makes walking unsafe. The hotel need a bit renovation.
- Shannon (6/5): Disappointed - A/c didn't blow directly onto the beds & allowed the room to keep a cooler temp. Having a larger room. The food & selection was average, we were moved to the pool restaurant where the selection was even less due to a seminar booked in during our stay, pool was worn out & smaller than shown, shower was below average with only a handheld shower head & our room wasn't cleaned for 2 days.
- Walter (9/5): Superb - Staff is friendly, clean facilities Mattresses are a bit tired
- Huongquynh (8/5): Nice clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff - Clean, close to everything Breakfast didn’t have enough variety
- Dang (7/5): Good -
- Pamela (6/5): - 4 star restaurant in Vietnam is very different than the ratings in US/Mexico. Overall, not a bad stay. WiFi is iffy if you need to do work.
- arvind_foodie (10/5): Best Hotel in Ha Noi for budget travellers - We stayed here twice during the trip within a space of 3 days. During the second checkin we were offered an upgrade to Junior Suite. The regular rooms are not so spacious but the suite was extra large in size. The view from the room was excellent. The service is great and the buffet spread had an extensive array of choice. The Hotel offered excellent service to keep our luggage when we went to Ha Long Bay for a day.
- MdChowhound (4/5): I wanted to like this place... - US Travelers: this isn't 4 stars like the Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, etc. This hotel is more like a Days Inn/Holiday Inn Express/La Quinta.
Make no mistake, there ARE true 4 star hotels in Hanoi, like the Hilton, JW Marirott, Sheraton, etc., but this isn't it. Just setting the expectations given the high star rating for this hotel.
I really wanted to like this place, but it's pretty warn and in need of an update. At least my room on the 10th floor. The hotel itself is really noisy - particularly if they have events going on in their meeting rooms. You can hear the music etc. all over the hotel. If your room doesn't have a shower - has a tub with a shower wand instead - it is perilous getting in an out of the tub. I say this so others who may be 50+ travelers are forewarned. Certainly an adventure every morning. If you have a room with a shower (like my colleague) there is a glorious window wall so while you are on the toilet you can look out over your room and, if the window is open, out over Hanoi.
The breakfast is okay. The variety is interesting. Some western (omelets, egg, bacon, pork sausage) some Vietnamese (pho, noodles, pork) and a surprising amount of Indian cuisine.
There's no real hotel bar. You can get beverages in the very tiny rooftop restaurant. Ah, speaking of tiny, the rooftop pool. When we were there it was looking kinda rough. Maybe it wasn't a good week for the pool.
If you need a place to rest your head and get actual sleep, I'd pass here. It's just too noisy between the events, the hotel staff, the slamming doors of other guest rooms, and the thin walls between rooms. But, if you just need shelter from when you are done hanging out at Beer Corner or in the Old Quarter, then this will likely do fine.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - I liked the area.it was very walkable and the pool although it was a little cold to swim.
The lobby is comfortable and has some nice paintings
The rooms could have done with a bit of updating and were quite small and the carpet needs shampooing
The staff are very nice in reception
The breakfast was very average for the type of hotel it was and I thought should have included western as well as Vietnamese coffee also although we went at 8. 30 - 9 .The staff were cleaning up and packing up which makes you feel uncomfortable
- Michael Andrew (4/5): - Left feeling very disappointed with this hotel. I booked and paid for a double bed, checked in and found i'd been allocated a single bed only. Spoke to reception, they said they gave me a single bed as i was travelling on my own. Explained that i had paid for a double because that was what i wanted. Response was hotel was fully booked for the night. Was only a two night stay so moved on after the second night. I drank a can of orange from the room which at check out they wanted to charge me 100000 vnd, i reminded them that they had made an error with my room, reluctantly i felt the front desk manager gave me that drink complimentary because of the error. Just a point to note, the rooms dont look like what the images show when booking, the word 'catfish' comes to mind.
- Jane (7/5): Good - Helpful staff Swimming pool lot smaller than the pictures show. Dated gym equipment
- Carol (8/5): - Good value for money and in a good location. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast options are good.
- Miss (8/5): Official business with side trip in Hanoi - Our room is nice and the breakfast is also good value Some of the faucets and equipment are slightly difficult to use
- Downie (9/5): Recommend staying here - Friendly helpful staff. Quieter than other areas in Hanoi which is great. Clean comfortable Nothing
- Kiran (7/5): Very comfortable -
- Meander27484164229 (10/5): Great but one. - Nice hotel
Nice quiet location.
Friendly helpful courteous staff ( except one receptionist)
She is rude to everyone. Does not know her job of handling customers.
Yawns on the customer,s face.
She again talked very rudely to us for no reason. All we asked for our bill to check out.
We’re retired hoteliers. We know the pressures of such jobs.
Such staff are a bad influence to others.
- Tuy (7/5): Location of hotel is convenient. Staff were helpful and nice. - The breakfast was ok. The wifi was not stable in my room.
- Sorina (9/5): Superb -
- Niki (9/5): Perfect little hotel thets good value for short term stay in Hanoi ! - Good location and pleasant staff in this good value hotel Beds are really hard
- Tanuj (5/5): Passable - Hotel seems old, time to renovate things if not on a full fledge scale at least they can do so in bit and pieces
- Q5244IYkathrynb (10/5): Stay at LaCasa - Myself and my other travel companions were welcomed by the extremely helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them, calling taxis, advice on what was nearby etc. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast delicious with plenty of choice. I wouid come again.
- Go54710355191 (8/5): A comfortable stay - Good hotel. Helpful staff. Great location. You will have a nice and comfortable stay here. It’s located in the middle of market. For your regular stuff like water bottles, food items, liquor, beverages, etc. the Circle K store is right around the corner. The staff will help you in currency exchange as well. However, there are some areas of improvement:
1. The pool is quite small
2. The gym equipment is all rusty
3. If you are a vegetarian, breakfast buffet will be very disappointing for you
4. There is no good view from most of the rooms.
5. Despite having rooms available, they didn’t help in early check-in. They asked for quite an erratic amount for early check-in.
Considering the tariff, it was a great choice!
- Steven (9/5): Good value hotel in the Hanoi suburbs - We stayed for a wedding ceremony and the staff were very attentive in helping us get ready for the event. The hotel has everything needed for a conformable stay.
- VidushiMalik (10/5): Very Good Experience - Amazing place to stay. The staff was very friendly. Food served was also good. The room was clean and neat. We had no problem here. Pretty satisfied with their services.
I highly recommend this place
- Hamish (10/5): - Excellent property would recommend a stay here
- Pavankumar (7/5): Good -
- Tam (8/5): - Attentive staff. Poor wifi connection, rooms with only 1 vent difficult to cool down with room turning off when you remove keycard.
- Earl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (6/5): Pleasant -
- eph9 (10/5): Lovely, friendly hotel - Lovely, friendly hotel. Was our base for the first part of our trip to Vietnam around the Hanoi area. 4 nights in total. Let us leave our big case there while we went off to Ha Long Bay for night on boat and again for a night out in an Eco Lodge.
All staff friendly and helpful. Efficient service, rooms all excellent (we had 3 different rooms)
- Apisak (8/5): A nice little Casa in Hanoi - 1. The breakfast was perhaps the most outstanding point, especially the crispy samosa.
2. The room size was okay. The pictures on the walls were We didn't feel that it was a significant upgrade.
3. The place was clean and well-kept. The pillow was not too soft--which I liked. :-)) 1. The lady manager was a bit too straightforward (= rude!) when my friend tried to ask her when was our late check-out time. She mentioned about us paying when we extended it to 3 pm.
2. The location wasn't too ideal at all. We had to walk about 35 minutes!! (BUT of course we could enjoy looking at the petite cafes along the way. :-))
3. The gym could have been bigger--with newer treadmills (the far one wasn't all that new).
- Hatim (6/5): Average. Value for money...certainly not!! - Breakfast was good, however one time daal makhani tasted stale.
Suite was of good size and was comfortable. I booked the hotel on the basis of good rating and with it assumed that the higher hotel cost may be deserved. Sorry to say that it is not. A number of bad experiences are as follows:
The hotel lifts were below average. I got stuck in the lift and continued to ring bell, however no one paid a heed to it. I had to call my partner to speak to the reception to take some action. Still there was hesitancy and the hotel staff did not act swiftly. I had to open the lift door myself a little and with the help of one room service staff, I atlast got out.
Hotel noted on a contract type paper counting everything in the room that was provided eg towels. On top of that they expected that it should not have stains and that it would be considered damaged. We had to be more careful to use their product then what we are used to at home as we did not want to pay more as we did not want to have a sour taste of justifying our position. I am an avid traveller and such an experience was not expected.
The pool was really dirty and one could visibly see leaf and debris collection at the base of the pool.
Family room was extremely small where there was not much space to move also. Lighting of both rooms were below average. One of the bulb in my room flickered randomly.
The hotel appeared to act like a higher rated facility, however in my opinion was not and definitely was not value for money.
- Nick (7/5): Nice hotel with reasonable location - Breakfast was good, room was a good size and bed comfortable Shower didn't work properly as did the A/C not adjusting to the temp set. Tour groups coming through killed any hotel ambience.
- Voyager886 (6/5): La casa - We stayed there for two visits on the second visit they put us in the room next to the staff lift. We were woken up at 4 am as it was the one night we didn’t say anything. The food was continually cold at breakfast o. Every morning we went to have breakfast and one morning instead of serving us and removing our dishes. The staff were busy preparing other tables for people who weren’t there. We accidentally broke a glass and charged $3
- Doal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jean (9/5): Superb - Good location and very clean. Pool restaurant had very tasty food. We had the fried sea bass, fried rice paper rolls and green mango and prawn salad all of which we highly recommend
- Lenihan (10/5): Hope to be back next year with Operation Walk - The pool top bar.
- Andrew (10/5): Although our stay was brief, the service was exceptional - The staff were incredible. Remembered our names, helped with recommendations, and very efficient N/A
- Parth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eszter (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly and always helpful, the deluxe room was convenient and well equipped.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corinne (10/5): Great spot for a quieter stay in Hanoi. - The breakfast buffet was fabulous with lots of options. The staff at LaCasa Hanoi are super helpful with suggestions for transport and sight seeing. We booked a junior suite and superior room -- both were really well appointed and very comfortable. This was my second stay there and I highly recommend.
- Yuka (9/5): Superb - best location, stuff, and reasonable price! the shower didn’t drain well
- Anh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (8/5): Comfortable and just what we needed. - Extremely friendly staff, all very helpful. Nice walk into city centre Issues with water pressure and lack of hot water in our taps and shower in room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 3 night Business Stay - Service is good.
- Amr (9/5): Superb -
- Kristy (9/5): lovely hotel, great location, awesome rooftop ammenities. - La Casa has an awesome roof top restaurant with an extensive menu and a gorgeous pool. I could feel every spring in the bed in my room.
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Attila (8/5): Very good - Very good value for money. Room was simple but well equipped and clean. Super friendly staff. Gym is basic and slightly outdated.
- Joseph (10/5): - Clean and comfortable with a friendly, helpful, and supportive staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Almost properties were well prepared for guest but room facilities are little need maintenance.
Staffs are all nice friendly, receptionists, breakfast staff, bellman even housekeeping has good hospitality for guests.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Judith (6/5): OK nothing special. - The pool is very small, the place is clean and the breakfast OK. There were better hotels nearby for a similar price.
- David (8/5): Good hotel, but don’t get a massage in house. - one of the better hotels we stayed at in Hanoi. Comfortable, nice room, excellent buffet breakfast in the morning. Staff spoke quite good English and were helpful. The one negative was that my fiancé and I had a massage in their ‘spa’, which was actually just one of the hotel rooms. The massage itself was ok, but we booked and were charged etc for aromatherapy and it was just a Swedish with some scented massage oil. On top of that they then added a service charge at the desk. Massage was therefore a let down and a bit of a rip off. So stay clear of that.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Every front staff can speak and understand English. Even at restaurant, you can communicate with the hall staff. Human resource is perfect.
But, I really disappointed at the smoking friendly situation. You can find ashtray in front of every elevator hall and smell tobacco smoke. Even in non-smoking room, I was troubled by stink of tobacco's smoke. I guess the bathroom air duct is connected each rooms and someone's tobacco smoke circulated by the duct.
In Hanoi, I was really troubled by tobacco's smoke at everywhere. Vietnam is developing country and smoking friendly yet. Food, service, and people's kindness was excellent, but tobacco's trouble would disturb your comfort stay in La Casa and Hanoi. I am really depressed for it.
But again, La Casa Hanoi is good hotel. I hope the sidewalk of the street in front of the hotel would completed before my next visit to La Casa!
- Verified traveler (10/5): la casa
- AMOS (10/5): Business Trip - Cosy and clean hotel with warm staffs always at hand to offer assistance. Rooftop dining offers nice city view
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing buffet breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Javier (10/5): - The location of the hotel is good, around 15-20 mins walk away from the old quarters.
Staff are very helpful and good command of English which is a plus point.
- Lee (8/5): Satisfactory experience - Staff are welcoming and polite overall but need to be more attentive. Warming room decoration is impressive. Room are clean yet a bit dark at night. Enjoyed delicious foods of room service but a bit disappointed by daily breakfast because of limited foods choices.
However the hotel massage is Not recommended as the outsourced personnel is unprofessionally chattering all the time.
All in all, the Hotel is still money for value.
- sarah (10/5): Good value for your money at La Casa Hanoi! - Very welcoming and helpful staff to help with what to visit, book taxis and advise in future destinations in Vietnam. Only regret is the size of the pool and gym which size and cleanliness could be improved.
- sarah (8/5): Small nice hotel in a quiet area - Charming small hotel located outside the craziness of the old quarter hence offering a quieter environment. Very warm and welcoming staff as well as helpful with logistics. Good breakfast. Only regret is the small size of pool and gym.
