• Shelley (6/5): - This property is in need of repairs. Front desk is not helpful barely makes eye contact. We got stuck in non functional elevator and had to lug heavy bags up steps.

The dining options on Sunday and Monday are non-existent, but we picked up some prepared foods and sat in the breakfast room on Monday., which was the only meal which we needed to have on-site. The value compares well with hotels in Corner Brook. We had access to a vehicle which is essential for this property.

A bit odd with all the rules around pool access (have to be reserved and let in, and only for an hour), and if you want towels or linens you have to bring them to the front desk for counting, then replacing. There’s some obvious trust issues there with their guests, and I don’t like being treated like a child in a 4.5 star hotel, so this irked me a bit. Staff were very friendly and helpful all the same. Location is incredible.

• Emily (8/5): - Nice place to stay we were going to and from Gros Morne and it wasn’t too far. Would say it’s getting a little tired in the main lodge where we stayed. Carpets etc need some love. The restaurant was amazing we had a fantastic dinner but they also run a take out curry business out of the main building so it does smell like curry in the main building constantly. When we arrived they were burning garbage in a drum directly behind our room which did make our room smell. Overall not a bad stay. Neat pool and hydrotherapy set up you do have to book the pool times and the hydrotherapy was extra.

The resort is lovely and well maintained but it felt like they were not ready for this tourism season. The restaurant was very pricey and the hours for breakfast were late, which didn’t fit with our itinerary so we chose to eat off site.

You need to let them know ahead of time if you want to use it, which I didn't know until I was going to the pool and asked about it. Pillows were too big. • 905jayeb (10/5): The grounds are beautiful!!!! Harmonia Spa is amazing. - Harmonia Self Thermal Spa is amazing. The Labradorite Steam Sauna was the best!!!! All of the wonderful things they offer are very beneficial. Dry Sauna, Heated Mineral Bath, Cold Plunge Soak with Waterfall, Salt Water Pool, Vitamin D Light therapy. We were blown away!!! Keep in mind you do not have to be a guest at the INN to reserve a timeslot and all of the therapies are included. Price per hour is such a deal at 50 person per hour!!!! All of the therapies are In 1 private room. It's set up to go from one therapy to the next. It's beautiful.
• CW800 (10/5): 7-day work-vacation stay - We spent 7 nights in a 1-bedroom condo and enjoyed our time at MIR. The staff is phenominal; pleasant and helpful. The grounds (a bit wet and muddy given the time of year) are excellent. It's so peaceful and quiet here that it was easy to sleep in. When in this area, MIR is our go to for accommodations (condos and Inn rooms). You get so much more for what you spend than you could get at any of the hotels in Corner Brook. And, CB is just 10 minutes away. We ate at Madison's one evening and were very happy with the service and food (this is in between seasons, so the restaurant was only open Thursday to Saturday). The wifi was very good; was able to do a couple of video calls without any problems. Will be back soon!
• Cameron (8/5): - The Heat/AC unit was abnormally loud. But the rest of the stay was as expected. Peaceful and extremely friendly place to stay.
• Newdeb12 (10/5): Impecable service, comfort and bliss - We stayed here as they had salt water pool, steam room, hydra pool, sauna, and herbal pool. We gotbin the herbal pool and the power went. Complete darkness. But the big windows next to the pool highlighted the bright stars. Total quiet. So perfect. The owners showed up witj flashlights, placed lights on wall above and used them to light our pathwsy to our rooms. No noisy generator. The experience was sureil. Most comfortable beds. If u ever come to NL, I recommend this place. Small town local owners who aim to please. I asked for a chance to come back and use the amenities we didn't get to use. I got two big smiles from them and a definite YES. Anytime to our liking. I wouldn't dare ask for a free night. That would be so mean. They certainly didn't make anything of us.

• V1387MIlisal (10/5): Comfortable experience - I arrived in Deer Lake on business and my accommodations were not prebooked. A colleague suggested Marble Inn Resort with a contact number. Immediately, the owner acknowledged my dilemma and had accommodations for me. He was there when I arrived and was kind, hospitable and available for any concerns I had. I was there for 6 weeks and would recommend to anyone travelling. The restaurant Madison’s served delicious food for my palate and would highly recommend. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous to my needs during my stay. The roosters/ hens roaming around added a special touch. So cute!

• Michael (2/5): - Although it is a lovely property there were no available amenities for us at resort. 1. On check-in we were given wrong directions to nearest community 2. We requested to rent paddle boards at 3 in the afternoon and were told they guide wasn't available till early evening and the guide would contact us. We were called 6:45 and initally told the guide was not available. A few minutes later we were called and told we could go at 7:30. At this point we felt it was too late. 3. We asked if we could use the Spa in the evening and were told yes. When we returned from supper we were told the nordic Spa wasnt available at that time but that they would call us. Finally at 8:45 in the evening we decided to go down to pool as we had no call regarding the Nordic SPA.The worker at the from desk informed us the pool was closed at 9pm but would permit us to go in for a few minutes. We went to area only to discover that no one was using the SPA or pool. Not sure why we were not permitted. 4. The dining room was closed so we had to travel to Cornerbrook for supper. 5. Normally we do fitness in the morning. We requested to use the gym prior to our 0730 departure (we were catching a ferry) only to be told that staff do not come in till 0730 so we could not get access to the fitness center. 6. Our stay included breakfast but since staff would not be in till 0730 we were told breakfast would not be available. 7. The air conditioner in the room did not work properly Lorraine.dougan63@gmail.
• William (6/5): - Beautiful surroundings. Accommodations are dated and could use an upgrading. Very limited breakfast options. Water was brown and not drinkable but yet no alternative water source was provided.

• George (4/5): - The rooms were ok. The property was not maintained well. The pool area was dirty and was in need of maintenance. They wanted to charge an extra $20 to use the hot tub and you had to schedule a swim time. It seemed like they were trying to discourage you from using the pool area. There was nobody at the front desk in the morning and when you called the number they provided it went directly to voicemail. It was generally a disappointment.
• Crystal (6/5): - Very nice hotel but I wouldnt go as far to say it is a resort. When i booked online it gave me 2 options. I could either get 2 twin beds or 1 king bed. I selected king bed and that showed on my receipt. When i arrived they told me i had 2 twin beds, which was not what i requested. The man at reception went to check and came back and said the issue was resolved. When we got to our room it was 2 twin beds pushed together. The beds were SUPER comfy but it was not an error on my part....they shouldnt give options if they are not going to follow thru. For a resort i expected much better views than what we had. Too much brush and trees blocking views to mountain and out our window all we could see was a car shelter tent and nothing else. We also could hear water running upstairs somewhere all night. I had a great nights sleep but for the price it is not worth it.

• Y944NDashleyb (10/5): Marble Mountain Magic - This was an amazing hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was within walking distance to Marble Mountain. This hotel also had the most amazing pool, and a thermal spa. Could swim free during the day, in the pool by booking a spot. You can do the same thing in the evening, but with access to the thermal spa services for $15. I would highly recommend this. The Labradorite mineral bath was absolutely amazing, and so relaxing after a day of skiing. The whole experience of this hotel is a 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place close to Marble Mountain and the Humber River.
• Ashley (10/5): - This property was absolutely beautiful. It was a walking distance to Marble Mountain ski resort. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and the staff were helpful and friendly. There was also a pool with a thermal spa. I would definitely recommend booking an evening in the thermal spa. The pool is refreshing, the Labradorite mineral bath is so relaxing, and the saunas were absolutely perfect after a cold day of skiing. If you're looking for somewhere to stay that's close to Marble Mountain, and the Humber River, I would definitely recommend this place.

• Tim (10/5): - I stay during the off-season, it was nice and quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed a meal in the restaurant. The staff was super friendly. Definitely would stay again.

• L7047BLstephaniel (10/5): Wonderful stay - Stayed here for 3 nights in a one bedroom condo. We had family in a two bedroom condo in the next building over so we didn't have to cook in our condo, but did use the fridge. While the two bedroom condo had a fullsize fridge with a separate freezer, we had a bigger bar fridge that still fit a bottle of wine and some beers no problem. Bed was VERY comfy. Nearby ski resort has some fun Zip Lines and if you wanted you could walk to the gas station that has a Tim Hortons and a liquor express. Took just over an hour to get to the entrance to Gros Morne. Used the pool and dry sauna. You have to book a 45 minute slot with the front desk. They are only opening the hot tub and hammam at night time and you have to book a slot for that as well. Would have loved that, but didn't get a chance. Restaurant was closed the only night we wanted to go for a private function so we had to cobble together a meal. We did run down and ask for some butter which they happily gave us! Thanks Joe!
