• Dohanyosova (10/5): Relaxt verblijf met het mooiste uitzicht - De locatie is echt zo tof! De hele dag kon ik uit het raam staren naar de zee en surfers spotten. In de avond staken we het open haard aan. Zo een fijne relaxte sfeer! De dorm is heel groot. Ik heb niet eerder met zo veel mensen in één kamer geslapen, maar dat was helemaal niet storend. Iedereen was heel respectvol en deed zachtjes als iemand lag te slapen. Daarnaast was het ontbijt inbegrepen en heel goed verzorgt. Ik kom heel graag terug! Het kon hier en daar net iets schoner. Ook de badkamers zijn wel aan een opfrisbeurt toe.
• Guilherme (10/5): Best hostel ever and the cleanest one. - Absolutamente incrìvel. Miguel e Elisa super atenciosos, flexìveis e bem famìlia. Sem falar da Duna, a cachorrinha deles. As meninas da limpeza fazer a limpeza todos os dias no quarto e nas areas comuns. Nunca vi um hostel tao limpo e cheiroso, de verdade. Parecia uma casa de famìlia. E os hospedes tbm, todos gente boa demais, que conversam, trocam experiencias. Bem diferente do hostel de Lisboa. Melhor hostel que eu fiquei na vida, sem sombra de dùvida. Nada estava ruim. Foi invrìvel mesmo. Verdade, lembrei aqui. A unica coisa que ppde melhorar è o colchao do beliche. Nao sei se era so na minha cama, mas achei o colchao meio mole demais. Eu tenho 3 hernia de disco.

• Sophia (9/5): Hochwertiges Hostel - Das war einer der besten Hostel die ich bisher besucht habe, natürlich war ich komplett in der low season dort, aber es war einfach wunderschön 3 Tage dort verbracht zu haben. Die betten sind sehr bequem, man bekommt ein gutes kissen, 2 Decken. Das hostel zimmer ist etwas verwinkelt, es fühlt sich nicht wie ein einfacher Saal an. Zudem war die aussicht so schön, und man ist gleich am strand in 5-6 minuten. Ich komme gerne wieder! Danke euch.

• Imen (9/5): I will be back! - Amazing atmosphere with the sea right outside, the surf classes and other travelers. Great breakfast, perfectly located and a very homey place. It’s difficult to have a completely clean house all the time but I would’ve appreciated a bit more cleaning for the common areas such as the bathrooms.

• Holly (10/5): The perfect stay! - Could of asked for a better spot, located on the cliff side with the most beautiful view of the beach, with unreal sunsets! Staff were amazing and welcoming, the whole vibe feels homely with the ability to have quiet alone time. Kitchen was full equipped and big so multiple people can cool at once! Also having the space on the top floor for yoga etc was incredible. Lastly THE BIGGEST shout out to the surf school “surf solutions” the best instructors I’ve ever had, i went everyday and their energy was just next to nothing with continual feedback and support they just made my trip that little bit more special!
• Stefan (10/5): - I loved my stay in Ericeira. The accommodation was spotless, bright, and exactly as pictured, with a calm, coastal vibe that makes you slow down the second you drop your bags. My room had plenty of natural light and a super-comfortable bed; the small touches—good coffee, fluffy towels, and a quiet AC—made it feel like home. Wi-Fi was reliable for calls, and there was a dedicated space to work for a couple of hours each day. The location is fantastic: a short walk to the old town for dinner and sunset strolls, and close to several beaches—Ribeira d’Ilhas for surfers and Praia dos Pescadores for a relaxed swim. Despite being near the action, the street is peaceful at night. Parking was straightforward, and I appreciated the easy self-check-in after a late arrival. Our host was warm, responsive, and full of local tips (great seafood, pastel de nata, and where to watch the sunset). Small note: the street has a bit of a slope—typical for Ericeira—so pack comfortable shoes. Overall, an excellent base for surf, food, and slow mornings with an ocean breeze. I’d happily return and recommend it to friends.

• Alexa (8/5): Wunderschön und ich komme gerne wieder - Die Lage vom Hostel ist wirklich unschlagbar. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind wunderschön und es waren nur sehr angenehme Gäste im Hostel untergebracht. Das einzige, was ich bemängeln kann, ist, dass es nirgends ersichtlich ist, dass es sich bei dem dorm um ein 16er Zimmer handelt. Es war ruhiger als gedacht, aber man sollte es zumindest irgendwo vermerken.
• Celine (6/5): Atemberaubende Aussicht, dafür hat es sich definitiv gelohnt 😊 - Wir hatten das Zimmer mit eigenem Balkon, der war wirklich atemberaubend mit Blick nur aufs Meer. Wirklich traumhaft. Wer es gerne gesellschaftlich hat und neue Kontakte knüpfen möchte ist hier genau richtig 😊 Das Thema Sauberkeit hat uns nicht so zugesagt. In unserem einwöchigen Aufenthalt wurden unsere Handtücher nur einmal auf Nachfrage gewechselt. Und die neuen haben dann leider auch gemüffelt 😕 Aus der Dusche kamen mal eklige graue Sachen raus, die extrem gestunken haben… Außerdem sehe ich es für knapp 180€ die Nacht nicht unbedingt ein eine Spülmaschine ein und auszuräumen.

Er is buiten heel veel plaats om te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht en ook binnen is het aangenaam vertoeven. De keuken is groot en goed voorzien van kookbenodigdheden. Ik schrok even van de grootte van de dorm (16 bedden), maar dat viel uiteindelijk beter mee dan verwacht. 3 badkamers is dan wel weer weinig voor zo'n grote groep mensen. Vooral lastig dat er maar 1 afzonderlijk toilet is.

• אביב (9/5): - מיקום מטורף על ההר מול הים, רק לפתוח חלון ולהסתכל על הגולשים מהחדר. מעוצב מהמם גם החלל המשותף, מאוד נוח ונעים לקרוא ספר, אפילו לפתוח מחשב או סתם לשבת לשתות משהו. הצוות היה מאוד נעים ושירותי. אנחנו עשינו גם שיעור גלישה שהיה מעולה. לקחנו חדר פרטי עם מקלחת משותפת עם עוד חדר והיה מעולה.

The common areas have many comfortable spaces for relaxing either privately or with other guests. Surf lessons and equipment as well as yoga classes are available. • Prüm (10/5): Einfach nur schön! - Laneez ist das mit Abstand schönste Hostel, in dem ich war, die Aussicht ist wunderschön, die Leute sind super lieb, man lernt sofort Leute kennen und es wird ganz viel angeboten. Außerdem ist es nur 15 Minuten vom Strand entfernt und super nah zu Altstadt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! 🤍

• Dawn (10/5): Awesome stay, highly recommend. - The view from the terraces are awesome. The hostel is located on the cliff edge with an unobstructed view overlooking one of the 3 close beaches. Even though the dormitory room has a large number of people it doesn’t feel crowded. The breakfast was great and there is a well stocked kitchen if you need it. Very organised and has WhatsApp groups for hostel activities and surfing school. It’s about a 10min walk into the township for shops and restaurants.

• Shelby (10/5): Worth the money :) - Beautiful views and it was nice and spacey. The kitchen is HUGE so that helps when multiple people want to cook or grab a snack. Beds in the dorms can be creaky
• Leon (8/5): Very good - Location of the house and view is spectacular. Having breakfast sat outside and an evening beer watching the sunset is worth it alone. Nice breakfast, staff very helpful. Surfboard hire was very reasonable. Wetsuit drying area. Close to a number of breaks (depending on your level) in either direction and a very short walk to a nice town Ericiera with plenty of restaurants and bars with local surf vibe. Having some instruments, including a guitar to play in communal areas was nice. Only there two nights with my son but enjoyed. Probably a little expensive for the the quality of room as some floor tiles were loose causing potential trip/stub hazard and some covered up with a few floor matts. Also window blind did not work but had curtain so no real issue. Was quite stuffy due to no AC or fan and had to keep window open for majority which was not ideal for sleeping.

• Julia (9/5): Wonderful stay in a very special place - The place and the view are priceless. The public space and the terrace are very nice to hang out and the vibe is very relaxed. The breakfast is very good and the kitchen spacious for own cooking. Theres pizza Tuesday which makes it easy to meet people. Would come back! The shower water was often not very warm. The check-in procedure and the messaging in advance was rather chaotic and confusing. The bar area can be used for work but it’s not very pleasant especially when many people work and do calls at the same time. Rather go for a coworking space. Once I was sitting in the living room a staff member approached me right away and asked me not to block the place for those being on a vacation. I found that rather rude given thst nowadays those jostles make good and steady business with remote workers.

• Caroline (10/5): Perfect and dreamy - This place is amazing. Inside the living room/breakfast room there are wide windows with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The house is on a cliff right above the beach. There are lots of outdoor terraces and balconies to take in the view as well. The furnishings are beach-vibe comfy, the house very clean, with a fireplace that we took advantage of since it was January! The other residents were friendly and the hostess was more than accommodating to us. This was one of our favorite places to stay.
