- TheHotelCatLady (10/5): A Cozy Place in a Little Town - A cozy place in a quiet little town, across the street from a gas station and not too far of a walk from restaurants either. I really liked the reddish-orange carpets in the room and the soft color of the walls, it was warm and inviting. You can hear some footstep-sounds from people in the room upstairs, but it wasn't bad for me. The whole place in general felt really clean and pristinely kept. I also like how there is a little lounge downstairs to sit in, and I really enjoyed the large selection of items for breakfast. The coffee that we ordered from the server was really good too. The server and lady at the desk were both really kind and welcoming. Excellent rooms, service, and food. I would stay here again if I was in the area. An easy 5 stars for me.

It is a very quick drive for a day trip into Strasbourg to enjoy the city, and then back to this charming hotel for the night. We had dinner in their restaurant, which is traditional and excellent! We highly recommend staying here.

Food for dinner was good breakfast had a good selection to choice from…the owners were very helpful with my concerns…if you do not have a car to get around this is not for you…taxi to the Christmas market is 50dollars or more one way…walking to the train station when it’s 30 outside and raining not fun…trying to figure out how to purchase tickets another 30 minutes: we met people from Luxenberg that helped us after they finally figured it out…we spent to much time waiting for trains then packed in like sardines to go to the Christmas market…finally our last dat checking out the hotel could not find a Taxi for us… the owner did a great job and kept calling… if you have no car find a closer hotel unless you like walking in cold rainy days to the train station…we enjoyed the room and staff Thank you so much;

- Karen (8/5): Quaint, highly affordable, and friendly staff - Great small hotel in a small, picturesque circa18th century village. Close enough to Strasburg, and there's even a teain stop in the village. Visited in August, and the hotel restaurant (like many German businesses) was closed. Expected a quiet 2-night weekend stay, but Friday night was far from it. Sounded like the entire population of under-25 males within a 20 km radius decided to visit the one pub that was open in the village. Still - the hotel can't help that. Decor was antique-quaint in the hallways; modern basic hotel decor in the rooms. Perfectly comfortable with everything you need - even a fan and complimentary bottled water. There's even a lift (elevator). Will return when the restaurant is open!

Free parking ,good breakfast not too big but enough for the size of the guesthouse (hotel).Only thing a a minus was the showers that are too small for a big person ,but ok for a normal person 1.70m and 65-70 kilos.And also you have to be there by car ,the city Kork is very small and after 6 pm is nothing there.For a visit 2-3 days in Strasbourg is perfect .We had a pleasant stay !
- John (8/5): - I picked this hotel because I wanted a hotel in a small town east of Strasbourg, just off a main road. There is a train line one mile away that will take you into Strasbourg (in about 20 minutes), for about E5 each, if you can figure out how to use the ticket machine! The included breakfast was the best of the three hotels we booked on our trip to Germany, in similar type hotels. There is also a small market about five blocks away for buying food and drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower stall was very tight--typical for this type of hotel.

- Verified traveler (10/5): A great find - The hotel is well kept, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent (diversified, with high quality ingredients, and tasty), as is the restaurant (serving German and international food). Though not luxurious or high-end, the rooms are of solid quality and the entire place had a home feel to it. The hotel is far from the city of Kehl (about 4 km), but there are some businesses nearby, and a small local train station (Deutsche Bahn) as well.
- TheWelshTerrier (10/5): Great hotel, warm, cozy and friendly - We stayed in the Hotel Landgasthof Schwanen for 3 nights while attending a conference in Strasbourg . We stayed in Room 103. Arriving later than expected on the first night we made our way to the restaurant to register as reception was closed and were greeted warmly and soon checked in and a table booked for an evening meal. Our room was lovely - clean, warn and spacious with towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Good wifi, easy to access. The restaurant was great - busy but very atmospheric and service was quick and polite, the waitresses helped us with our choices and were patient with our attempts at German. Lots of choice of both food and wine at reasonable prices and the portions were huge so don't even think of needing any side dishes. A good night's sleep was had in a comfortable bed and a room that was not overbearingly warm as they sometimes are and no noise through the walls from the adjoining rooms which was also nice - stayed in too many places with paper-thin walls. Breakfast was served in another room separate from the restaurant - again a good range of choices - both cold and warm, with a coffee machine to serve yourself and for the English Breakfast tea brigade the waitress was happy to bring a pot to the table. All in all a great place to stay, staff were very welcoming and the hotel was only 30-40 mins by train (the station being a 10 min walk away) to Strasbourg. Cannot recommend highly enough

- DidierD99 (8/5): Good hotel in a charming village - One night there travelling back from Italy to Belgium. Well situated between the two countries (about 500 km on both days). Quiet neighbourhood. Lovely small village. Decent, confortable room with the necessary equipment (TV, wifi, but no fridge and limited bathroom amenities). Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Excellent ratio price / quality (89 € for two persons, one night, difficult to find a better price for that level of quality). Only minus point: no lift in the building where the rooms are situated.
