- BetaArdi (2/5): One of the worst experiences at a 5-star hotel - I stayed for 3 days with a total of 4 people (2 rooms). From the start of check-in, I was confirmed about the room cleaning schedule, and I clearly mentioned that I wanted the rooms to be cleaned between 11 AM and 1 PM. However, the next day, the room was not cleaned. I then reconfirmed with the front desk, and they asked again about the cleaning schedule. Once again, I stated that I wanted the room cleaned between 11 AM and 1 PM. Yet today, at 9 PM, when I returned to the room tonight, it was still messy and hadn’t been cleaned. I called the front desk again, and they claimed that I was the one who said that didn’t want the room to be cleaned. Seriously???!! I am willingly slept in a room full of trash for 3 consecutive days. Where is the logic in that?

Breakfast is 4000 Yen. There is no plug for area to do work on computer. I stay in hotels over 200 nights per year globally and have never seen such anti customer rules. Won’t be back to this hotel. It was our Tokyo office suggested this hotel and suggested they take it off of their list.

I lost my phone on the first day and they bent over backwards to help out. The airport bus limousine turned around and the driver returned my phone that I had left on the seat! The room was beautiful with a view to Mount Fuji. Breakfast was the best that I have ever had in a hotel. I loved this hotel so much.

Price is affordable, considering for having such a big room with bay- view. From Subway station, there is a stair with cover walking to the hotel. Lots of Food around the area. Plenty of helpful staff on lobby, and they speak English. There is a counter on ground floor for Yamato Delivery. The staff helps me to ship my luggage to my next destination hotel and to contact my next hotel before shipping. 5 minutes of walking to the subway station, plaza, and Summit Super Market. Maybe a couple of minutes walking to world porter, Nissin Cup Noodle Factory.
- kaw27 (10/5): Classic. Timeless Hotel - This institution of a hotel is right at the center. Landmark Mall is downstairs, walk to Mark Is and the Yokohama famous tourist sights are few minutes walk. We never used public transportas all is just around. The service is perfect. Rooms are well kept and the true essence of 5 star hotel is there. Will def go back.

The hotel is very generous and totally care about customer satisfaction. I rather stay at this hotel, than any other hotel in Tokyo or Yokohama. You can experience staying at one of the tallest hotel in the world. It has the best city view. Getting the breakfast is a must. The breakfast is delicious and maintain high quality. This is one of the best breakfast in Japan. You can enjoy the breakfast at the 70th floor. It has the best view. The staff and managers from the hotel and restaurant are very professional, helpful, and generous. The team truly reflects the General Manager’s, great characters and leadership. They truly cares about his guest satisfactions. The room is spacious and clean and has the best view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, and one day would come back again.

- Cearda (10/5): A Room with an Amazing View - We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay in the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel. The room was a good size and we enjoyed the amenities. Very clean. View from room on 61st floor was amazing and loved the feature where, upon entering the room for the first time, the curtain blind automatically rises to reveal the view. Bathroom is a little dated in decor but pristine. Would not hesitate to stay again and hotel is located very close to shops, restaurants and NR station and subway. Also convenient location for cruise port.

- Tatiana (8/5): - The hotel is truly wonderful, with one caveat. By design, there is very low light in the rooms. It is so extremely low that reading is impossible (my head started hurting before I realized what the problem was). The hotel staff was super helpful in getting me extra table lamps, so you can get extra lighting, but note that there is no overhead ceiling light in the rooms whatsoever. I found this extremely surprising. So, if you are planning to do any work in your room, be sure to request extra lamps on arrival. Were it not for this one issue, the stay would have been perfect. It is a truly lovely hotel, but I prefer well lit rooms.

Very convenient to transportation also. Easy bus shuttle to both airports. Hotel is walking distance from the Yokohama ferris wheel.

- 384renitam (10/5): Would highly recommend staying here for the comfort of rooms, great staff and fabulous location. - Fabulous experience at this hotel. Had a beautiful room with the BEST view. Staff have all been so helpful and with our very limited Japanese they went out of their way to speak English to us and assist with everything. They even gave me a birthday gift which was a very generous and lovely surprise. We are only in Yokohama 1 night but would absolutely stay here again. Room had all the facilities we required such as good shower pressure and fairly comfy bed. As 2 larger Australians who were worried about bed size this was definitely more than adequate. Location is perfect for walking to all the attractions, right next to Cosmo World and Landmark Tower. We came for the baseball at Yokohama Stadium and that was just a 15 minute walk away. When we return to Japan we will be back here I'm sure.

- AlvinCK (6/5): Structure issues - This hotel is in the upper floors of the iconic Landmark Towers in Minato Mirai, Yokohama. The room assigned was 6204. At the 62nd level, it sounded impressive. It was with a good city view and several of your neighbours rooms. You can see them directly when they’re at their balconies 😂. In addition, as things would have it, the couple in the adjacent room decided to have a heated altercation with shouting and banging of furniture (I had to call the front desk). They were not locals btw. It’s then I knew that whilst the building could withstand an earthquake, it certainly couldn’t provide soundproofing from an angry person.

Access to the gym was very restricted and came with an additional charge. Paying nearly $500 for two nights and having to pay an extra $15 each time to use the gym was disappointing.

The view was amazing and it was a clear day so you could see Fuji-san. Downside - requested a non-smoking room, I should have said a smoke-free room. However, it was not smoke-free but non-smoking and that’s a huge difference, especially for an asthmatic person. Although it was only a one night stay, I suffered throughout my stay as the smoke smell lingered on everything. It was so bad, that I thought of visiting the local hospital to see if they could help with my breathing. also, there was no amenities for the Six year old. The reservation did list all occupants, yet the child was not acknowledged. Overall, nice place and if you don’t mind a smoke-smelling room, then even better.

- 80reginen (10/5): Perfect location and Excellent accommodation - I can’t begin to describe how magical this place was for all of us. As a family of four this hotel is centrally located to a play place in queens mall on the fourth floor for ages 2-12. We splurged for a bay facing corner room which was more than enough space for us. A couch and sitting chairs for our company was perfect. The soaking tub and extra big shower was so accommodating after days filled with walking. The staff was so helpful whenever we needed them and they were able to help us navigate the surrounding area. Just within walking distance is an amusement park, an Onsen and two (maybe even 3 malls with anything you may want or need for your travels. We ate at the Chinese restaurant at the top of the tower overlooking the bay in the evening and it was very romantic. The Chinese food was fantastic as well. The room is equipped with every item you would need (pj’s, slippers & lots of toiletries). We will absolutely stay here again!!
- zarpietro (10/5): Tallest building in Yokohama - The hotel is a landmark in Yokohama, the tallest building in the area. You can reach it by bus from Tokyo Haneda (or train) in 1 hour. My room 67th floor, was large and with a wonderful view (it costs more for that of course), with nice furniture and good coffee machine. The bathroom was ok by only with the tube, no shower unfortunately. Breakfast is on the 70th floor and it is a rich Japanese-style breakfast with chefs cooking in front of you. Personnel is, well, Japanese :) very kind.

- ervine82 (10/5): Exemplary Front Desk Service - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and one of the main reasons is the service coming from the front desk. We will like to commend Thet Htar for her dedication to her role as well as her highest standard of professionalism. During or first day, we first met Thet Htar, whom assisted us to arrahge for our frozen stuff to be kept in the freezer. On our last day, we had many luggages and require assistance to bring them down to the lobby. We were surprised to see Thet Htar coming up alone, and also able to accomplish moving our luggage successfully (this is what I deem as optimised productivity and her dedication). Lastly, she took in our instructions for the luggages to be transported up the limousine bus, including for the frozen stuff to be released last. Lastly, we were so impressed with her services that we gave her 1,000 yen and she uprightly rejected, in which we insisted and left on the table, only for her to run after us and return the note back to us. We highly value this professionalism of hers and will definitely return back to the hotel whenever we travel to Yokohama. The hotel is all about providing a high standard of service in all aspects to customers, and Thet Htar is the perfect example and such exemplary performance is also the reason for Yokohama Park Royal Hotel to be the top hotel in the city.

This hotel has laundry service that can clean your clothes in a couple of days, but not a coin laundry room. Be sure to get your parking taken care of at the front desk - I didn't and was surprised to see an 11000+ yen charge for one night of parking. Staff were very helpful in getting that straightened out. The hotel is upscale and nice - I felt like George and Weezy movin' on up.

- Meander701947 (10/5): Getting the Royal treatment - O MY GOD, this is the best we have stayed at in a long time, if you enjoy great or should I say excellent and attentive service this is the hotel. The view from our 61st floor room was just like the photo here. Had to have my suit pressed for my sons wedding and the staff was on it, just a short call and they were there and had my suit back in just a couple hours, they are the most polite staff we have encountered in some time. The Sky restaurant is great, and the breakfast buffet was also very good. We will be coming back in the spring and look forward to staying here again.

- Kathleen (10/5): - Good location. Adjacent mall had excellent dining options and easy access directly from hotel. Room was spacious and clean with wonderful view and very comfortable for 3 adults. Large clean bathroom with nice shower. Staff was helpful and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would stay again when in Yokohama.

- Ronald (10/5): - The room, room furniture, lobby, floor, elevator, restaurant (Sirius ) are very clean and well maintained. It is really fun to live in a high floor bedroom. The elevator is fast enough to bring me from ground floor to 60th floor. There are plenty of staff on lobby area helping me to check in, store lugguage. All staff are polite. The automatic curtain is amazing.
