Zeynep (4/5): Modarate, does not worth th money paid. - Location is good. Hotel is old and rooms are not perfectly clean. Worst is the breakfast. I never had such a bad experience at such level hotel before. Although I am very much used to Chinese food, whatever the oil they are using is, my throat burned all day long each time.
sj4231 (8/5): Very good hotel located near shopping, dining, and a great park. - I stayed at the ZhuZhou Marriott for 2 weeks and believe it is a great hotel for accommodations in Zhuzhou. The staff is friendly, conversant in English, the rooms are a good size, the bed and pillows comfortable. Their restaurant serves an international breakfast and the omelettes are quite good. The only downside was that I thought the laundry service is a bit expensive but all garments came back clean and good shape. The clientele is both international and domestic, so there is a mix of offerings at the hotel. If you are planning to be in Zhuzhou, make a reservation as I think you will be pleased.

Note: our room had a glass bathroom which might not be desirable to all guests. Wife says she had the best massage ever at the spa and loved the indoor pool.

Check-in time was not quick, but probably caused that I didn't provide my information in advance. Check out was quick. My room on 7th floor was clean and big, bed is really comfy. The gym is also fine. Breakfast choice is good and the omlett was super tasty. And the staff - well Marriott like. Super friendly and helpful. Definitely can recommend it.

No change....non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke! Complained and asked for room spray. Nothing done... Hotel is very nice and spacious. Rooms pleasant and very accommodating but smell too much to bear. Tried explaining to staff the issue but they didn't seem to understand or care. I definitely learned my lesson. Different hotel I will stay on the next visit.

jrube (8/5): Outstanding Business Hotel - Stayed here for two nights on a recent business trip. Check in was easy and was upgraded to 24th floor Exec Level. The room was large and comfortable, internet fast, bathroom clean and shower pressure good. The fitness center was a bit small but not crowded and offered the full amenities of most hotels. Hotel is centrally located but I didn't get a chance to get out. Breakfast was included and very well done and tasty. I'd come back when in Hunan.

Robbie414 (10/5): Second Hotel Experience in China - This was my first trip to China on business, the Marriott at Zhuzhou (pronounced Ju Jo) was a real delight. Staff were excellent, hotel was very modern and of a very high standard...much higher than any other Marriott I've stayed in anywhere else in the world. In fact, a lot of Marriotts are now showing their age and seem to receive little investment from the group...this was one of the most opulent chain hotels I've ever seen. The lobby is spectacular, stunning and very inviting. The bar staff were excellent. The location is perfect...definitely visit the Mall! The room was fantastic, very clean and very well appointed. I was in an executive room which was very quiet. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Zhuzhou.

I have to mention the GSM of the hotel Elisa Hu, very professional and efficient. I did not tell the hotel today is my Wife’s Birthday, however, she noticed that from my wife’s ID. She organised the birthday cake and some wine for us. That is very touch and very warm. As a Platinum Member, I think I got morn than a Platinum Member in Zhuzhou Marriott Hotel. We will come back and recommend our friends and family to stay here.

mrmarutiak (6/5): Worse Marriott Experience In Long Time - Beware...this hotel has smoking rooms! Had the misfortune of being put in a SMOKING room when Platinum profile clearly states non-smoking and wasn't offered to be moved to another room. When complained they only brought up a fan (they did not even spray air freshener) but the stench still remained. Couldn't sleep all night!! Complained again in morning but to no avail. They just mentioned that guests aren't allowed to smoke! Their staff should flag smoking rooms (when being serviced they can immediately tell) and something should be done before putting in new guests. Unfortunately, I cannot rate the rest of the hotel due to this bad experience. All I recommend is when checking in verify / confirm they are not giving you a smokers room. I definitely will not stay here again.
James (8/5): Okay... not special - Facilities - Gym and pool are very good. Business centre is good. If you need extras be prepared for big charges (normal though in hotel). Had an extended long power cut whilst working in the executive lounge (for six hours) and no offer of any gesture given the experience... ha ha... snacks are okay at best here and popular for drinks though with other guests. Food - Breakfast is good. Other a la carte needs so-so. Service is acceptable. Ambience - not really any. Service - front desk staff very good. Other staff so so and dining support staff... hilariously unaware of customer experience and view point.
TobyZurich (10/5): Pleasant business hotel - Very pleasant business hotel with good sized rooms. Due to my platinum elite level we were upgraded to an executive floor room and even though we arrived very late for Chinese standards we very very well treated and they kept the lounge open only for us. The staff is very friendly and professional and the breakfast is an excellent East - West combination with life open cooking stations.

jeff852963 (10/5): wonderful days in here - Really enjoyed time that I spent in here. This hotel has very good equipment and devices. I have to say the room is very nice, quiet and clean, every nights I sleep with good mood and comfort. and I really enjoyed the swimming pool here, nothing can be better if you worked a whole day and take a rest yourself in here. Service are good and kind as well. Many times I wanted some help with my work or trips staffs always provide some information and helps immediately and actively, especially some staffs in lobby, they always greet me with smiles and some of them helped me in time.
Tao-is-Tao (8/5): Excellent new facility - The hotel is brand new with minimalistic modern design and latest technology. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have enjoyed in the recent years, full good balanced choices. Everything works, quite AC and swift lifts. Staffs are very helpful, especially at reception, very friendly. This might be the character of local people.
Robredo (10/5): Nice stay in this hotel - I stayed one night here, it's about 10km from Railway station, the review of outside is not that good but the hotel itself is very good, the bed is comfortable, the decoration is nice, and the service is good. Beside it, there is a shopping mall, and can find some restaurant there.
Journey715258 (10/5): the best in zhuzhou! - I had a transfer from the airport to the hotel. The driver was very friendly. Quite & Clean, perfect for a business trip. The smile and hospitality of the Russian lady in a lobby have spined my head round and I want to come back there again and again.Btw, there was a METRO supermarket right beside the hotel and the shopping mall as well. The room was comfortable and all clean. The wifii worked really well. I spent 5 nights there during the golf tournament and it was great.
Valentin_spb (10/5): The best hotel - Beautiful hotel. Easy check-in and out. Nice room with everything you would need. Staff were all very attentive and gave exceptional service, so welcoming. And for China the room was massive and clean. We highly recommend the breakfast buffet, with a wide of varieties and fresh. We will definitely stay there again.
Katrin78spb (10/5): Good experience - We stayed at the Marriott for a single night. Check in/out was seamless. We had erroneously booked a double room instead of a twin. The reception staff member was exceptionally helpful in accommodating our change in room request (although understandably noted that this would not always be possible). Our room was clean, with contemporary decor and excellent facilities. While a little on the small side, the room still provided excellent value for price paid.The breakfast and the choices were numerous. All goodStaff and service very good. Also the concierge Glenn was extremely helpful and courteous. We will definitely use the Marriott in Zhuzhou again.

Verified traveler (10/5): Absolutely fantastic ! - I've being in Zhuzhou more than 10 times. This was my first stay at the new Zhuzhou Marriot Hotel. It was a fantastic experience to find such a nice hotel in town. Every detail was perfectly designed and plays well to make your stay pleasant. I definitely will stay again in this hotel in my future trips.
