• Matteo (8/5): Stanze ampie e bella piscina, accoglienza altalenante - Struttura economica che offre un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Le stanze sono spaziose e si dorme molto bene grazie alla tranquillità della zona, lontana dal trambusto turistico. La piscina è davvero bella e ben tenuta, un punto di forza della struttura e ottima per rilassarsi dopo le escursioni. Il personale è generalmente disponibile e si dimostra pronto ad aiutare con le esigenze degli ospiti. Un plus apprezzabile è la presenza di un “ristorante” interno con piatti di ispirazione italiana, comodo per chi non vuole spostarsi la sera. La struttura si appoggia inoltre a partner locali per organizzare escursioni e noleggio scooter, dando agli ospiti la comodità di prenotare tutto sul posto: tra queste, l’escursione nella campagna di Bohol con i Chocolate Hills, seppur turistica come prevedibile, si è rivelata piacevole e ce la siamo goduta. Nel complesso una base tranquilla e funzionale per esplorare Panglao e Bohol. Le stanze, pur ampie, beneficerebbero di soluzioni aggiuntive per lo stivaggio di vestiti e bagagli, e qualche dettaglio meriterebbe un po’ di manutenzione. Le tende non sono oscuranti, quindi la stanza resta luminosa già di prima mattina: delle tende oscuranti farebbero davvero la differenza. Sull’accoglienza, il personale è generalmente disponibile, ma il proprietario ha un atteggiamento piuttosto autoritario con i dipendenti e tende a relazionarsi solo con gli ospiti che sceglie — un approccio più uniforme e cordiale migliorerebbe l’esperienza per tutti. Una nota infine sui servizi proposti tramite i partner: sia il noleggio scooter sia l’escursione di island hopping ci hanno delusi. Lo scooter era in condizioni piuttosto precarie, mentre l’escursione si è rivelata una gita su una imbarcazione malandata, con snorkeling in mezzo a plastica e traffico di barche e — dulcis in fundo — una sosta obbligata a pagamento a Virgin Island, dove non c’è praticamente nulla. Da dimenticare.

• Rebecca (10/5): Dream resort! Hope to return asap! Thank you!! - One of our favourite places to stay! The staff were absolutely delightful, so kind, warm and helpful. The room was huge with high ceiling, excellent AC, a huge comfortable bed, little porch right near the pool which we used so much because of the easy access compared with other places. As others have stated the food is so delicious! We ate dinner here 2 out of our 3 nights. The whole experience was just so peaceful, tranquil, quiet and relaxing. Not the resort’s fault or choice obviously but unfortunately the nearby beach is now private with paid entry…in particular the Bohol Beach Club is an 1100 php fee per person just to sit and eat at the restaurant not even to swim, so we never went :( do you will need to tuk tuk to beaches (cheap though)
• Giacomo (10/5): Excellent stay close to the best beach - Villa Formosa is clean, comfortable and conveniently located a few steps away from the best beach in Bohol! The rooms are huge, the bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is the size of a flat. All is really perfect, including the staff (always ready to answer any questions) and the breakfast (super fresh). All this for a more than reasonable price. Highly recommended.
• Kaiser (10/5): Such a hidden gem with amazing staff, super comfortable beds, great food, and the perfect quiet loca - Such a cute little villa, we absolutely loved staying here and honestly felt like it was such a hidden gem. The staff were amazing and so accommodating with anything we needed. The location was perfect because it was away from the busiest part of Alona Beach but only about a 7 minute tuk tuk ride away, and they helped arrange transport anytime we needed it. The villa itself was beautiful with a super clean pool and a little restaurant area where they make fresh breakfast every morning with homemade fresh bread that was so good. They also serve Italian food and everything we tried was amazing. The rooms were huge, the beds were so comfortable, and the AC worked really well which was a lifesaver in the heat. It’s also really close to Dumaluan Beach which was way nicer than Alona in our opinion — only about a 5 minute walk and you can pay 50 pesos to access the beach resort area. Would highly recommend staying here. The staff really made the experience and also helped us arrange motorbike rentals and tours during our stay. Everything was amazing

Le service du petit déjeuner pourrait être plus étoffé, avec une composition moins rigide, la formule buffet serait mieux adaptée. Comme il n'est pas possible de manger au-delà de 18h30-19h il faut être motorisé pour le dîner, les restaurants des hôtels de la plage à proximité sont pas forcément accueillant avec les clients extérieurs.

The food is absolutely delicious and so fresh (so are the margaritas!). The ladies who work there are so friendly and kind; they are always happy to help with booking taxis, discussing tours etc. It is an easy walk to beautiful Dumaluan beach and a tuktuk ride to Alona beach, but Villa Formosa is a beautiful serene oasis on the island. • Angela (10/5): Amazing! - We were at the end of our trip and wanted peace and quiet for our last 2 days. This place was perfect! Huge room, amazing staff and a beautiful pool. The food was good too and the excellent, chilled Italian wine was an added bonus. There is a beautiful beach about 400 metres away but we mainly stayed at the villa because we'd already visited a lot of beaches! It is a shame that the restaurant closes at 7pm..we went to order at 6:50 on our 2nd night but it was too late. I totally understand why - the girls work hard all day and they cook everything fresh.

Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet und verfügt über einen großen Pool. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gemütlich – insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

• Marko (10/5): Sehr zu empfehlen! Sehr schöne Anlage, super freundliches Personal! - Wir hatten selten eine Unterkunft, bei der wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Die Größe mit nur ca. 5-6 sehr geräumigen und gemütlichen Bungalows ist einfach angenehm und trägt neben der wunderschönen Anlage und dem schönen Pool sehr zur Erholung bei. Was das alles aber noch toppt, ist das Personal: So aufrichtig freundlich, herzlich, aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend wie wir es sonst während unseres Urlaubs auf den Philippinen selten erlebt haben. Das Essen in der Unterkunft können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es wird frisch zubereitet und ist einfach köstlich. Dabei wird auch auf Wünsche eingegangen. Nicht über die italienischen Speisen wundern sondern einfach probieren, es lohnt sich!! Und die Cocktails können wir auch sehr empfehlen, vor allem der Margarita. Laut dem Personal ist der Eigentümer Italiener, was das erklären würde :) Die Unterkunft liegt in einer Nebenstraße welche zu einem der schönsten Strände von Bohol führt (ca. 400-500m). Für den Zugang muss man durch eine Hotelanlage welche 50 Peso Eintritt pro Person verlangt, was vll. nicht jeder gut findet, aber dann kann man auch die Toiletten dort nutzen. Ein 7-Eleven und Geldautomat sind ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Vielen Dank an das Team für den wundervollen Aufenthalt!! Wir hatten den Bungalow ganz hinten mit zwei Zimmern. In dem kleinen Zimmer war die 😉 Klimaanlage etwas laut.

The location is fantastic, a couple of minutes walk to the best beach on the island and 5 minutes drive to the main town. It seems private and out of the action. The breakfast is good and the restaurant has great pasta. Nothing.

• Victor (9/5): Real gem of a place - This place is absolutely beautiful and serene, the very green yard and very big and clean pool give it a very premium feel despite the decent price. The little houses are very spacious and comfortable. Minimalistic furniture but have everything you need and they look great. The bathrooms are truly beautiful with an amazing walk in shower. The staff was nice and helpful with whatever we needed. The food is pretty good and decently priced, but the options are pretty limited (only Italian food) so qe only ate there once. The location is great as it's out of the busy resort which is very loud and crowded, but close enough that you can take a tuktuk there for 200 php. The beach is about a 5 minute walk, but to access it you need to pay an entrance fee to the resort where the street ends, even though the beach is theoretically public. A weird situation, but it's 50 php per person per day, so really not a very big deal. Overall we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it! Nothing.

• Adélaïde Moncomble (9/5): - Très belle plage à proximité avec restaurants corrects autour (french bubbles à 10 min notamment). Belle piscine propre. Petit déjeuner correct. Dommage car pas trop de vie dans la journée : pas de dîner possible et pas trop de propositions de boissons etc. Probablement possible mais peu visible. Proximité de la route finalement assez passante. Pas gênant du tout pour dormir.

Не смотря на наше позднее прибытие, нами были своевременно получены все инструкции по заселению, никаких проблем не возникло. Очень чисто и уютно в номере и на территории отеля. Есть стоянка для автомобиля. Великолепный персонал, готовый всегда помочь в решении любых вопросов. Хорошие завтраки по меню. Близко лучший пляж Панглао. В День моего рождения украсили комнату шарами, что было большим приятным сюрпризом, а также персонал задержался после работы, чтобы приготовить праздничный ужин. Все супер!

Beaucoup de tuktuk a proximite ^^ Le personnel est formidable , surtout que j ai eu un gros oubli de matériel, et qu ils ont tt fait pour que je récupère dans la journée sur une île voisine . • sander_n (9/5): Een erg prettig verblijf op een mooie, rustige locatie dicht bij alle voorzieningen. - Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij Villa Formosa Panglao. De locatie is ideaal: op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van Dumaluan Beach, met verschillende eetgelegenheden en een 7-Eleven op loopafstand. Met de tuktuk sta je binnen 10 minuten bij Alona Beach. De medewerkers van Villa Formosa regelen dit graag voor je, wat erg prettig is. De accommodatie zelf is prachtig. De kamers zijn erg ruim en hebben een fijn zitje voor de deur. De badkamer is ruim en beschikt over warm water, wat erg comfortabel is. Het ontbijt was prima en er is goed Italiaans eten te bestellen. Ook het ruime zwembad is heerlijk om even af te koelen. Wij hebben genoten van deze plek net buiten de drukte van Alona Beach. Wij verbleven in kamer 1; iedereen die het terrein opkomt kan direct de kamer inkijken. Er hangen wel gordijnen die je kunt sluiten. Er zijn geen verduisterende gordijnen en voor een klein deel van de ramen (bovenkant) geen gordijnen waardoor wij vroeg wakker werden Tijdens ons verblijf (3 nachten) hebben we één keer geluid gehoord van de kartbaan naast Villa Formosa
• Chiara (10/5): Giornate piacevoli in una struttura che consigliamo. - Struttura molto pulita, personale gentile e accogliente, prima colazione (pancakes) eccelsa, posizione strategica. Unica nota leggermente negativa è che non andava l’aria condizionata ma ci hanno fornito di un ventilatore che ha risolto il problema (non abbiamo mai sentito caldo durante la notte).

• uta (8/5): - Super süße Bungalows mit viel Platz. Pool und Terrasse sehr groß und toll. Frühstück könnte auch Mal was gesundes enthalten. Also Müslis und Obst. Personal freundlich, jedoch bei Taxi und Fährbuchung nicht verlässlich . Sonst alles super. Schimmel an der Wand in der Dusche.
• Heiko (9/5): Gehobene Mittelklasse: gute Lage, guter Komfort. - Hier kann man nur Höchstnoten vergeben. Das Hotel liegt an einer kleinen Straße, die zu den Hotels und zum Strand führt, Entfernung zum Strand etwa 550 m. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend (Swimmingpool, kleines Restaurant etc.) und die Zimmer sind riesengroß (unser Bungalow hatte bestimmt 30 m². Swimmingpool und Liegemöglichkeiten sind angesichts der Größe des Hotels (vielleicht 6 Zimmer?) mehr als ausreichend. Besonders zu betonen ist allerdings der erstklassige Service. Die Besitzer der Anlage wohnen wohl in der Schweiz, aber sie können sich zu Recht voll auf das Personal verlassen. Alle Anfragen, Wäsche, Fahrten etc. werden sofort und ohne Einschränkungen erledigt. Das Restaurant ist klein - und auch die Speisekarte. Das ist insgesamt schon ein gutes Zeichen. Die Küche ist italienisch, sehr wohlschmeckend - und obwohl gute Restaurants in der Nähe sind, haben wir (mit einer Ausnahme) jeden Tag im Hotel gegessen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - und das zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis.

• maria victoria (10/5): El lugar ideal para relajarse! - Este hotel es una maravilla! Está en una zona fabulosa y tranquila, a 300 metros de la playa, que es súper bonita y no está nada masificada. Nos gustó la ubicación ya que para relajarnos preferimos tranquilidad pero si quieres más movida están a tan solo 8 minutos en moto de la zona de Alona. Las chicas de la recepción son geniales! Con ellas gestionamos el alquiler de moto que nos salió a 400 pesos por día, lo que vale en la mayoría de los sitios pero es ideal porque te la traen allí y al final la dejas en el hotel. También el servicio de lavandera que te cuesta 380 pesos hasta 8 kilos. Tienen incluso servicio de masajes que te lo hacen en la misma habitación o cualquier tour que necesites. Todo está súper limpio y bien cuidado. Hay un muchacho en todo momento encargándose de la jardinería, piscina y mantenimiento. Las instalaciones están en perfectas condiciones! La habitación que nos tocó fue la número 5 y fue sumamente espectacular. Tiene una sala de estar fuera con dos sofás, mesa gigante y nevera. Dentro la habitación es enorme al igual que la cama. Con mucho espacio para el equipaje. El baño es súper correcto. Recomendamos muchísimo este hotel por la comodidad. El entorno verde que es maravilloso y el trato de todo el personal que es fantástico!

• Sylvie (10/5): Séjour relaxant dans un très bel endroit - Situé à une dizaine de minutes de la plage de Dumaluan (péage de 50 pesos/personne). Fortes marées sur cette plage car elle est en pente douce. beau jardin, grande piscine très propre, personnel particulièrement attentioné et professionnel. De plus les repas, même s'ils ne sont pas très variés sont très bons à des prix très corrects. Chambres très calmes, aucun vis à vis. Bonne réception wifi. ATM à proximité ainsi qu'un 7/11. Peu de bons restaurants à proximité. Mais Grab facile à Panglao. Demander des serpentins pour les moustiques.

• Nikodem (9/5): Polecam - Lokalizacja jest dobra - bardzo blisko pięknej plaży i niedaleko 7/11. Na miejscu można zjeść dobre śniadanie i obiad/kolację do 19:00. Obsługa jest bardzo miła i pomocna, do dyspozycji gości jest również basen. Serwują kuchnię włoską - jak na Filipiny jest ok, ale zdecydowanie jedliśmy w lepszych miejscach.

• G aus Franken (10/5): - Wunderbare Anlage. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit, freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Man wird unterstützt wo nur möglich. Frühstück vor der offiziellen Früchstückszeit war auch kein Problem. Wenn es möglich wäre, würde ich für das Personal 12 Punkte geben!!

Cama cómoda y habitación espaciosa La tapa del wc era cuadrada y el water ovalado, lo que la hacía moverse. Le faltaría un poco de actualización en la decoración para ser perfecta. El desayuno pienso que se queda corto.

In morning taking walk along the beach, having the best breakfast ever at the Villa Hermosa. To round it up. My sweetie and I loved this place. The outdoor washroom was extraordinary 👌 Truthfully, I can't think of anything.

Regelden een (praktisch nieuwe) scooter waarmee we fijn hebben rond getoerd en een tuktuk naar de ferry haven, met een zeer ervaren rustige driver. Let op de afstapjes / opstapjes in de kamer, je kunt je flink bezeren.

• Anna (9/5): Śliczny mały resort z fantastycznym basenem, ale w pobliżu tylko płatna plaża. - Zadbany ogród, piękny duży basen, dobre śniadania, duże, dobrze wyposażone domki z fajnymi tarasami. Olbrzymim plusem jest zapalanie wieczorem przez obsługę spiralek na komary. Jest bardzo cicho i czysto. Kameralny resort, tylko 5 domków Ośrodek znajduje się daleko od miasta, od innych restauracji, a w hotelu jest mały wybór jedzenia, jest tu tylko podstawowe włoskie jedzenie. Trzeba za każdym razem brać do miasta tuk-tuk za 200 php Z dostępem do plaży również jest kłopot, bo trzeba zapłacić za przejście na plażę przez ośrodek Marilou Resort (50 php za osobę) lub Dumaluan Resort (100 php za osobę) - w każdym z nich wejścia pilnuje ochrona. Po zapłaceniu wstępu, możesz się rozłożyć na ręczniku w części publicznej obu ośrodków lub spacerować do woli. Dobre jest chociaż to, że można wielokrotnie wchodzic i wychodzić w danym dniu. Na drugi dzień juz musisz na nowo zapłacić. My wykupiliśmy całodzienny pobyt w klubie Bohol Beach Club, jest on kawałek dalej od pensjonatu, ale przy najpiękniejszej części plaży, jest tu nawet ładniej niż na Boracay. Alona Beach w centrum przy tym wygląda bardzo słabo. Dodatkowo można uprawiać snurkeling, jest mnóstwo rozgwiazd. W cenie 1200 php za osobę korzystaliśmy z leżaków, basenu i toalet, dostaliśmy ręczniki plażowe, mieliśmy wodę do picia i zjedliśmy lunch składający się z z przystawki lub zupy, sałatki, dania głównego, napoju (piwo, soki) i owoców Można również skorzystać z pobytu dziennego w kolejnym hotelu, w Oceanica Resort, wykupuje się tam kupon za 500 php przeznaczony na konsumpcję, ale siedzi się na pufie, jest dużo ludzi, jest głośna muzyka i plaża już nie jest tak ładna.
