- Cindy (6/5): This log home is lovely, but needs some TLC as it is tired. - The location and privacy was great, being that is was the shoulder season. There were many kitchen items that were missing because the inventory had not been done. There were items that were not working, needed repair, or required cleaning. The gas fireplace pilot light was not on so a maintenance person had to come to turn it on.
- Patrick (8/5): - House was in a perfect location. Would be great in winter. But the house is lacking kitchen amenities, the dishwasher does not clean dishes, the floors in the house were filthy and left everyone’s feet many socks black. The fridge was turned up to act as a pantry instead of a fridge. Something we did not look for when loading with groceries. We had to throw out any products like milk or yogurt the next morning and then set the fridge properly to a fridge. We were not provided an access code before arrival and had to call and wait to get one to which we were told they would email the owners and then get back to us. The property is located in a part of the complex that is hidden. So we drove around for 20 minutes trying to find it. Then had to call and wait for someone to direct us how to find the property. A map with the check in procedure would be super helpful. Overall the property is beautiful and in a great location. But lacking care and customer service.

- Sally (6/5): 505 - Not worth the money - Meh. Beer league service for champagne price. The good: Cottage was clean. Beds comfortable. Log structure beautiful. Nice location to hill. BBQ worked well. Good bedding. The bad: (1) Skiing conditions were poor; snow on most runs was either slushy or icy, and hill wasn’t groomed well. We went end of March. Banff is far better this time of year. (2) In regards to the cottage at Snow Creek, they’ve tried to automate/digitize everything which means we never had access to a staff person and “service” was exceptionally bad. (3) When we arrived, after a long drive, we went into main Snow Creek Lodge. Couldn’t find a human or a washroom. We went to the cottage (#505) scoured through emails to find the code, and the lock box wouldn’t open. Called “customer service” and they said it was because we were an hour early and they needed to send Housekeeping to check the cottage before letting us in. It sounded like an odd excuse (spoiler alert - housekeeping never came). I explained that we had just driven across three provinces and would really appreciate access to the cottage to use the facilities. Was told to go back to the main lodge, and given directions on how to find a washroom in the main lodge. It was off putting, especially considering we paid $700/night. We later realized (on our own!) that the cottage had TWO lock boxes - we realized that the one on the door handle under the stairs was for the Realtor, so our code didn’t work on that one. My son noticed a SECOND lock box on the WALL hidden under the stairs, a few feet away from the door. It worked. (4) The stove looks cool but the oven wouldn’t turn on. (5) Shower head on tub in loft didn’t work so we could only use shower in basement. (6) Toilet in loft kept running so we had to manually hold up the float in the back of the tank to stop the water flow. That’s fun 😕 (7) Several of the log chairs at the table are falling apart and the chairs were unstable.

- Susan (8/5): We had a wonderful stay overall - The location and ambience of the log home was wonderful Certain Supplies were very limited. We had 2 garbage bags for our stay and 3 dishwasher pucks, some kitchen supplies were also limited, no potato peeler and limited glassware.
