It's also expensive for food, ÂŁ30 for a small burger, fries and small beer seems very expensive, maybe more so after just returning from Thailand. Wages are very low in Ghana so why so expensive. Room was a superior, had 2 single beds below and 1 double upstairs. Courtesy bus never turned up until 45 min late. Room ok but tatty in places, many electrical sockets not holding the plug.

The duplex room was huge and very comfortable for our family (only two towels though but quickly resolved the morning after we arrived) Buffet in mornings suitably varied but the buffet in the evening was very overpriced for what was offered. Only one real complaint and thatâs the pick up process from the airport. I emailed ahead to pre book but upon arrival we waited a further 40 minutes in their office at the airport before anyone turned up to take us to the hotel. So be aware!

From the moment we entered, the atmosphere felt composed and confident. There was no standing at the counter to check inâwe were seated in the lobby, offered a refreshing drink, and kindly checked in while we relaxed. That small gesture set the tone for the entire stay. The suite was spacious and well-thought-out. My son had a loft with his own bathroom, giving us both space and privacyâa level of comfort that truly matters during longer trips. The interior design was rich and classic, featuring deep-toned, luxurious furniture that felt more custom than commercial. While the view was compromised due to nearby construction, the value for the price was unmatched. The on-site restaurant delivered some of the most consistently tasty meals Iâve had in a hotel setting. The buffet included jollof rice, grilled chicken, baked plantains, watermelon juice, fresh pastries, and rotating local and continental dishesâflavorful, balanced, and clearly prepared with care. We also stopped by the boutique shop in the lobby, which offered thoughtful souvenirs and essentialsâsomething more hotels should consider. Though there was live music in the dining area, it was limited to special events or paid experiences, which I wasnât aware of beforehand. Still, the overall vibe remained warm and relaxed. We even enjoyed the small gym across the streetâclean, functional, and a nice bonus. Tang Palace Hotel doesnât chase trendsâit delivers quiet luxury, good food, and practical comfort. Iâd absolutely stay again.

Dining iptions were average with a heavy emphasis on Chinese cuisine. The Chinese management distrubed me. It looked as though they were constantly monitoring the staff and had a constant frown on thier faces. I personally didnt like this at all but the staff seemed not to mind, though i wonder if this would have been the case where there was a surplus of jobs. The other staff was awsome. Hotel staff are courteous and helpful and restaurants are good. The room acs need regular maintenance. I was allotted a room where the AC packed up and had to change my room at mid night.

All members of staff were truly professional and an absolute credit to their profession. The receptionists, Eugenia, Roberta, Sylvester and the others were amongst the best hotel staff I have encountered. They made sure that I was always taken care of. The restaurant staff were on point with their service and very welcoming. I had a great time interacting with them. The rooms that I stayed in were very clean and well kept, courtesy of the cleaning staff. I will recommend the Tang Palace Hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Accra. - Paris (4/5): Hotel is smoke in mirrors - Arrived at 2p and had to wait in the lobby for over an hour to get checked in. Wasnât offered anything complimentary for the inconvenience. Even though I had a suite that could sleep at least four people, guest service only allowed me two key cards and said only two people could eat breakfast when I had four people in my party. To add, you need to keep one key card in the room in order for the lights and air to work. Very inconveniencing for a place charging $400 a night. The breakfast food was not good at all.

The staff is excellent and well trained. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel is excellent. The lobby lounge can be improved both with better menu choices and a refurbishment of furniture.
- wangj780 (10/5): A nice trip in Ghana - A wonderful Hotel. We have course in Ghana, and we live in Tang Palace Hotel every year. This is a wonderful hotel. A nice service for us. The room is comfort, and there is electric hair drier, kettle and disposable slippers in the every room. The room is clean. There is swimming pool in hotel, the water is clean. And the gym is outside the hotel major building, it is across the street. The restaurant Tang Yuan is delicious. Chinese food is very well. The staff is very nice, thank you for Lolita and Patrick for all help to us. They are very nice! This time our student lost his iphone in hotel, thank you for the staff who found the phone are Emmanuel and Phillip. Nice staff! We will go to Tang palace again and again. Highly recommend to everyone!

The best part about this hotel is the âfamily duplex roomâ which is a 2 story room with 3 beds that can fit a family of 5. This is very hard to find in Africa and can easily fit a large family comfortably.

- kerena850 (4/5): i hated it - Tang Palace hotel is arguably easy on the eye. I have been to the hotel, precisely the restaurant on many occasions but only for buffet, not a la carte. However, I tried a la carte for the first time on the 25th of december 2023 and least to say it was incredibly disappointing. It was the continental section to be exact. I ordered a chicken burger. Note: (The waiter mentioned it comes with fries). The other two people i came with, ordered Jollof and tilapia, and finally a beef pizza. First off, the food looked disappointing at first glance but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. The onion served in my burger, was literally raw. It wasnt caramelized or fried a bit. It was just picked up, cut, and served in the burger, making it have a very strong smell of onions and both inside and the bottom of the burger was wet. The chicken was brutally tasteless and guess what, it costed 168 cedis only for the waiter to come holding nothing but a pitiful plate of badly cooked burger, informing me that it comes without fries. The Jollof was simply the worst jollof I have ever tasted but costed almost 300 cedis-298 cedis. Instead of a beef pizza, the waiter came in with a chicken pizza. There was barely even 10 items on the menu for food. It just got worser and worser honestly, we ordered 1 cranberry and 2 glasses of orange juice. Note: they were supposedly fresh. Yet, this restaurant managed to make the juices taste like flavoured water. It tasted like they poured water in a cup and added flavoring. Normally i am impressed with their food and the variety but this time round, disappointing is an understatement. Did i mention the fresh glasses that no one had used, the ones that are normally placed on the table incase you would like to put water in it,all smelt exactly like fish?? Tang Palace I'm sorry but Ik you can do better.
- Q1995PUgracep (2/5): THE WORST!!! - That food was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Cold, burnt, uncooked, and came out late. And when I mean late I mean LATE. We were at the restaurant for almost 3 hour no help to Charles and Simon. Why does it take 20 minutes for my friend to get her sprite? Why was the garlic bread barely toasted? After those 3 hours why didnât people still get food? And why was there an olive on top of the mango cake? All questions I had while eating there. 10/10 would NOT come back.
- Shellie (2/5): - This was my second visit to the Tang, it is also my last. The condition of the stairs in our room led me to have to go to the emergency room to get stitches for the gaping wound caused by the stairs. There was no managerial staff available on the weekend and I was forced to pay my hospital bills out of pocket. Iâm an effort to give the establishment a second chance, I brought a group of 20 for lunch. After over 2 hours, not everyone received their food and many who did received cold, half-cooked or incomplete meals. Despite numerous complaints to the reataraunt manager, Charles; the situation was never resolved and we were forced to pay for food and service that were below substandard in quality. I WILL NEVER FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN and caution others to avoid it at all cost. I have traveled the world and never received such horrendous treatment. My group had to cut their activities short due to the long wait to get to the airport in time to catch their flight. I frequently come to Ghana and strongly advise others against frequenting this establishment.

The rooms are beautiful and provide every amenity that a traveler could require. Comfortable beds, wonderful shower, and beautiful bar and dining area. A pleasure.

- mukalazi (6/5): - Nice location and new property with good rates if you do your home work. They have some entertainment on Friday which is good and staff at the front desk are professional. Only areas of improvement in my humble opinion are: - Fix the TV channels, does not make sense in this day and age for a new property to have crappy reception or channels listed but not working. - Make sure your house keeping stops knocking on guests doors at 9:00am when checkout is not until 12:00. - Breakfast is good but please try and make sure there is food even after 10:00am. - For rooms like 149, please investigate how best to deal with the whistle noise from the neighborhood or at least inform the guest so they are aware. That is my honest opinion, I will be happy to comeback again and hope by then changes will be made.
