What a nice place, nice breakfast, comfortable beds, nice shower. I wish I had a need to go to Sioux Falls more often because I would be staying at the Gateway always!
- Matthew (8/5): - Was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our adjoining rooms, but we had a few disappointments along the way. I had talked to the front desk a few days prior about getting adjoining rooms as we are traveling with 4 kids. He said it shouldn't be a problem, just check back that day. It does give adjoining rooms as an option on its Orbitz listing. I called the morning of our arrival day and was told they don't have 2 queen rooms that adjoin and that it would be an additional $50 to get a king suite, which would adjoin to a 2 queen bed room. When we arrived, the lady did apologize, saying it was an employee who transferred from another location and she said she gave me the 20% off deal that Orbitz had, so we appreciated that. We had built up the pool/hot tub to our kids, but when we arrived there was a sign saying the heater was broken so water temps are colder than normal. Kids were able to splash around a little, but I didn't get to enjoy the hot tub as it wasn't even warm. Ah well, things do break, just disappointing.

- dan (8/5): - Very nice property and very clean. Good breakfast. Construction around it made it very difficult to get to and there were no signs around to tell you how to get into it. Heater was out in the pool and hot tub. They were waiting on a part so none of this was really the motel's fault but it was rather frustrating.

The pool is open 6 am to midnight for adults and 7-10 for children. Nice big hot tub as well. I have zero complaints. Best hotel experience by far. If you staying in the Sioux Falls area it’s worth the extra 10-15 min drive to Tea, SD.
- dianelG4155KD (6/5): It's gone downhill! - There was mold in the shower and the fabric at the top of the shower curtain was torn the entire width between the rings. For the 4 days we stayed there, the two-tiered fresh fruit stand only contained one item, the same overripe apple. One of the days, room service did not replenish our towels or empty our wastebaskets. On the morning we checked out, the elevator was out of order on the 3rd floor. This hotel has gone downhill since we stayed there 2 years ago.
- Brock (10/5): Nice - Great as it was the first time we stayed. Here’s a pro tip: if you’re a lighter sleeper, ask for a room on the side of the hotel furthest away from the road. Traffic can be noisy. Rooms are great and breakfast is excellent ad well. Will always stay here if in this area.

It is just a few minutes drive to Souix Falls so you get much more for your money staying just south in Tea at the Gateway Park Hotel and Suites

We didn’t eat there but it was busy so I’m sure the food is good. And, after a long drive it’s nice to have something that close. I’m glad we’re staying here again on the return portion of our vacation.

- Mike (10/5): Spectacular 1 Night Stay! - I was pleasantly surprised! 9.2 out of 10 is an understatement it’s more like a 12 out of 10! The entire building from the moment you walk in the sliding doors, to the moment you flop down on your bed, is so incredibly clean. Front desk girl was very friendly upon check in, and so was the one working the next morning when I checked out. It is WELL WORTH the price! Extra bonus is it’s not really expensive to start with. Unlike most hotels, this place doesn’t charge a nightly deposit, or any other deposit. Just pay the price of the room and enjoy your state. One of the better breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel in the past couple years as well. Your only about 10-12 minutes from all your favorite places in Sioux Falls, and right across the parking lot is an awesome restaurant called Squeelers! I recommend ordering the Chislic! I also forgot something in my room and when I called later and talked to the manager, she was awesome and friendly as well. This might be my new go-to hotel when I make trips to Sioux Falls. I really like it and had nothing bad to say at all.

- JJ (10/5): - First of all, the staff at this hotel are welcoming, polite and professional. The property is conveniently located on 271st Street and Gateway Lane, less than 2 miles East of I-29, exit 73 (271st Street). A modern very well kept hotel. Safe, quiet, clean, comfortable and many hot breakfast choices. We were in the area to visit the falls and it was a short 20-minute drive from our hotel. I wish I had gotten some of the names of the staff so I could give them a personal shout-out for their great service.

- Randy (8/5): - Overall the hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was tasty. The pool was nice, had a bathroom in the pool area and was well stocked with towels. Our only complaint was with the pillows. The pillows on the beds were terrible. All eight were super flat and bumpy and should be thrown away! We all woke up with sore necks. If you stay, bring your own.
