• Jesuisgrand (5/5): Juste une illusion - L'emplacement et la tranquillité des lieux. La personne de l'accueil. Les bouteilles d'eau fraîche au frigo. La vétusté des lieux, les repas moyens ( buffet du soir déplorable et petit déjeuner juste correct), la piscine non chauffée. Cet établissement a bien besoin d'une modernisation. On a l'impression de retourner aux années 80. (Mobilier) Les chambres sont petites et la salle de bain ridicule avec une baignoire minuscule. La porte tape dans la cuvette des WC. Pas de bouilloire à disposition ni de café ou thé dans la chambre.

Wir haben das Gran Rey erneut gebucht, weil wir dort bereits einen schönen Aufenthalt verbracht hatten. Leider mussten wir einen deutlichen Rückgang in der Qualität des Abendessens bemerken.

Nos gustó la oferta de desayuno del buffet. Pero no repetiríamos la media pensión con la cena pues nos pareció que la calidad no se correspondía con el precio aplicado.

• CARMEN DELIA (9/5): - Muy limpio, cama y almohadas muy cómodas y personal en general muy agradable. Pues cuando llegamos había un cambio en la reserva, no sabemos qué ocurrió.. pero se arregló. Por otro lado nos cobraron un dinero que más tarde nos devolvieron y para más INRI el día que salíamos del hotel, como era temprano no nos dieron piknik por estar ya la cocina cerrada...

• PS (10/5): Ruhiges Hotel in fabelhafter Lage - lärmarm - Es handelt sich - wie alles auf La Gomera - um ein sehr ruhiges Hotel mit sehr angenehmen Gästen. Wir hatten die Terrassentüre Nacht für Nacht geöffnet und hörten das Rauschen der Wellen - kein Autolärm!! Die Lage ist einfach spitze! Kein Gedränge am Buffet (April). Beim Frühstück kam es hin und wieder zu kurzen Wartezeiten - kein Problem bei den netten Personal und Gästen. Auf La Gomera würden wir wieder dieses Hotel wählen!! Da fällt uns nichts ein..

• Marjakaisa (8/5): A peaceful place for holidays - The breakfast was really good and you could order nice snacks at the breakfast area during the day. We loved to sit outside and listen to the sea. The hotel was really peaceful and people in general very polite. Guests did not for example reserve sunbeds without being by the pool. The rooms are not very spacious but we enjoyed using the balcony.

Óriási zuhatagokat képezett. Csodálatos látvány volt a völgyből. Nem éreztük veszélyben magunkat, mert biztonságos volt minden. Kaptuk a vészjelzést a telefonunkra, gondoskodtak rólunk. Köszönjük mindenkinek aki vigyázott a turistákra ilyen szinten.

• Claudia (8/5): Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, merci pour tout! - L'emplacement était parfait, le personnel très aimable, la proprété impeccable. Les repas sont servir via un buffet, avec un grand choix varié de plats. Si je peux me permettre une remarque: les lumières dans l'espace bar/restaurant en haut pourraient être revues. Pour une soirée festive (soirée du nouvel an), cette forte lumière néon gâchait un peu l'atmosphère d'une soirée sinon très bien pensée.

Lower floor reception and lower dining area - dingy. A general interior update would have made the experience more enjoyable, at the price point. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, gegenüber liegt das Meer. Man muss erst mal die Treppe runter gehen, um zu der "versteckten" Rezeption zu kommen.

One receptionist in particular was rude, aggressive and unhelpful. A woman in reception shouted at us twice "this is not a 5 star hotel" totally unacceptable behaviour.

• Kevin (9/5): A wonderful location in Valle Gran Rey - Hotel Gran Rey is in a wonderful location: looking out over the sea, with sunset views. It is also perfectly placed (centrally) in Valle Gran Rey. Breakfast on the terrace is a great experience. The staff at the hotel are all excellent and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water.

• Johannes (9/5): - Das Hotel liegt perfekt zum dass gesamte Valle Gran Rey zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze vor dem Haus also ist auch die Anreise komfortabel. Wir hatten ein Eckzimmer mit Blick zur Seite, das sehr geräumig war, eher eine Suite. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles sehr sauber. Der Pool auf dem Dach war perfekt für uns, da während unseres Aufenthaltes das Meer eher rau war und wir so trotzdem Baden konnten. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren freundlich und zuvorkommend, so war es beispielsweise überhaupt kein Problem, uns die Fährtickets auszudrucken, die der Anbieter in Papierform vorgelegt haben wollte. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Möbel haben Schrammen, eine Sofa -Seite war locker, das Bad mit flacher Durchbadewanne ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Uns war allerdings Lage und Komfort wichtiger als Design und Ästhetik. Das viel gelobte Frühstücksbuffet hat etwas enttäuscht: durchschnittliche Auswahl, kein lokale Produkte, Eierschalen im Rührei... Es war OK, aber in anderen Bewertungen wird es unseres Erachtens viel zu hoch gelobt.

• Lieve (7/5): Goed, maar nachtrust kon veel beter. - Goed ontbijt, mooie ligging. Het avondbuffet was ondermaats! Het was zeker geen 20€ p.p. waard! De nachtrust werd steeds verstoord door lawaaierige generatoren. Gebruik van oordopjes was noodzakelijk.
• Stefan (9/5): Top Lage, super Service - Grandiose Lage direkt am Strand (sehr wenig Verkehr auf der dazwischen liegenden Straße), die öffentlichen Bereiche sind sehr sauber und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Der Poolbereich auf dem Dach bietet ungenügend Windschutz.

Dagelijkse schoonmaak door vriendelijk personeel, prima bedden. Vaak dringen bij verplicht ontbijt buffet in tochtige ruimtes in de wintermaanden.

• Tomas (9/5): Bra hotell med rimlig prisnivå som ligger ett stenkast från havet. - Hotellet ligger väldigt nära havet med fin takpool, väldigt bra frukost och trevlig samt hjälpsam personal. Hotellrummet är inte fantastiskt, men helt ok och välstädat. Rummets balkong är fin. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Jag bor gärna här igen! Det inget som jag inte gillade.

• ian (9/5): Amazing hotel in a prime location in the sun all day with beautiful sunsets and real value for money - Room was large and comfortable. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Facilities great. Breakfast and Dinner both very good options. Love that breakfast was on roof terrace and dinner separate area downstairs. you get the sun on roof terrace all day from about 9am to sunset as west facing. Location could not be beaten. Room was Mountain View which did not matter to me as roof terrace has 360 view and sun all day. However there are farmer fields behind and the cockerel starts at 4am... next time will book into Sea View room as I doubt you'll hear that lovely cockerel! That was the only negative...

• Uwe (8/5): Schöne Unterunft direkt am Meer - Lage: Direkt am Meer gelegen, nur eine wenig befahrene Straße und Promenade dazwischen und es ist mehr oder weniger die Brandung zu hören! Achtung, wer das nicht mag Zimmer nach hinten mit Bergblick buchen, auch eine tolle Aussicht. Zimmer: Saubere Zimmer verschiedener Kategorien. Superior Zimmer kosten etwas mehr, haben aber Blick zum Meer. Bad sauber mit Badewanne, Pflegeprodukte Waschlotion und im Zimmer eine 0,25 l Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank vorhanden. Wer es kennt, die spanischen Bettdecken sind eine Herausforderung dürfen aber nicht die Bewertung schmälern...also Augen auf und durch!!! Service: Aufmerksames, kompetentes, hilfsbereites, der eine oder andere, zum scherzen aufgelegtes Personal. Auf Allergien (Laktoseintoleranz) wird umfassend reagiert. Danke. Frühstück sehr gut. Wer Abendessen mit gebucht hat...auch schmackhaft. Kommunikation: WLAN sehr gut. Stabile Bandbreite.
