Guest Reviews
- Marcello (8/5): - Good breakfast Lift not working and we were on the top floor
- azeem (5/5): I hurt my head with the slopped bathroom ceiling . Very uncomfortable. My head is till hurting - Parking and drink and refreshments across the front desk Room , bathroom and poor noise management

- Barker (6/5): - No lift available not moved to ground floor. Had to negotiate stairs with bags
Not the only one requiring disability access to upper floors.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Comfortable clean and welcoming staff especially the bar staff - Lovely grounds and plenty of coffee Room was very hot
- Karin (10/5): - Everything Car par spaces v tight
- Paul (10/5): Well-located hotel with lovely staff - Lovely hotel very conveniently located on the outskirts of Leamington Spa. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast - lots of choice.
- Dakota (9/5): -
- Tasmin (8/5): -
- Wes (9/5): - Rooms clean and spacious. The hotel itself had the facilities I needed.

- Ian (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Belinda (7/5): Quiet, relaxed, bank holiday overnight stay. - It was VERY quiet over the bank holiday, but staff were available at all times and friendly. Room was a good size and quiet, in spite of proximity to the road. Bar space comfy and well-stocked and we enjoyed a game of pool too. Gym looked well-equipped though we didn't make use. Breakfast selection fresh and very good, for both hot and cold food. I was a bit surprised when someone from housekeeping knocked on our door in the morning to ask when we were leaving. To be fair, we didn't have a do not disturb sign on the door, but it was still a good while ahead of check out time and we were packing our bags.

- Lynda (10/5): - The room was a great size. The facilities were excellent. Would definitely recommend.
- Ian (9/5): Excellent - Clean, friendly, convenient. Countryside feel with walking distance of centre.
- Palwinder (10/5): -
- Yvonne (8/5): -
- Nilesh (8/5): - Wonderful property with good surrounding. Value for Money. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful.
- Stephen (8/5): Great place to stay. Thank to all the staff yhere - Was very clean and modern, nice soft towels and bed linen was as it should be.
Breakfast was good quality and a good variety with a gluten free section which inoticed.
Good selection of drinks at the bar which were reasonably priced too. Coffee wasn't very nice at all (couldn't drink it myself)
The place seemed a little under staffed and a more extensive cocktail menu would have been nice. (Negroni wasn't on the small menu) .
Brasserie in bathroom was stiff, mainly the shower which was very difficult to operate, hard water area us probably the cause.
Check out time seemed a bit early too.
My overall opinion with the price point included is i would stay again without a doubt good value for the ()£86 this did include breakfast and booking.com discount..

- Huba (7/5): - The staff are lovely and very helpful and the location, so close to nature while being 5 minute drive from the town is amazing. Really relaxing place. Overall the hotel is quite rundown. No AC, worn down furniture, windows that haven't been cleaned for months, a single elevator for 3 floors , one functioning coffee machine for 50+ guests having breakfast...a lot of small things that take away the great and make this place just good enough.
- Mervyn (7/5): A comfortable 2 night stay - Spacious, clean and nice setting “Our room” was already occupied and we rejected first alternative as it had a smaller bed. Second alternative was a smaller room but bed was fine and very comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, but whole thing took time and made us wonder about the organisation.
Restaurant evening menu was uninteresting, but breakfasts were excellent.
- Matthew (8/5): Comfortable hotel - This hotel is pleasant, they had a function on at the time so could not use the restaurant, however have used it before and it is good.
- Richard (10/5): - Friendly staff, good beer and food.
Clean and inviting Would have been nice to have had an earlier breakfast than 7:30 on Saturday morning, but that is the only fault.
- Ewa (10/5): -
- Philip (10/5): Really enjoyed our weekend helped by good weather and hotel garden. - Very good buffet breakfast. Nice large bedroom and big bathroom.very nice to have use of the garden.
- Dariia (7/5): Lovely hotel in perfect location - Billiard, great breakfast, clean bathroom and bedroom No fridge in room
- david (7/5): - Breakfast was fantastic, a huge amount of options
The room was nice, the bed was comfy.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Plenty of parking, had a nice stroll into Leamington for the evening. When having a bath you can't reach the soap! The bathroom looked a little tired, silicone sealant black and an old rusty fitting near the shower that was no longer used. Would have been nice if the TV was an internet TV as the Freeview channels was very limited.
- Barry (9/5): Lovely clean hotel with helpful staff - Really nicely appointed hotel with very helpful staff Car parking is a bit of a hike from reception
- Brett (10/5): Relax hotel - Lovely place stay bathroom, bedrooms, game room, bar and breakfast is good. N/A
- Michelle (10/5): Great stay from start to end - Great location, clean & friendly staff I liked everything
- Janine (8/5): Lovely stay - Loved the view from the bedroom watching rabbits, squirrels and birds. Had a problem closing the sliding window.
- Tammi (7/5): For a hotel that prides on the higher end, then sort out the finer details in the rooms. - The grounds are stunning, the room was big with floor to ceiling windows. The court yard is beautiful and it was a lovely evening weather wise so that helped. The bar staff are very abrupt and come across rude. No fridge in room, stayed in cheaper small rooms and these have fridge. The bathroom had tile spacers showing so not enough grout and the shower has things missing and broken. Walls scuffed and dirty.
- Chris (10/5): Very comfortable, clean, roomy, stylish -
- Chris (9/5): Very enjoyable, I’d definitely return - Pleasant receptionist, very good evening meal, very good breakfast Apple juice at breakfast. Barely adequate, the fresh apple juice available everywhere these days is dramatically better
- John (10/5): -
- Sethenia (10/5): -
- Mabby (10/5): Friendly staff, nice and quaint location - Lovely settings and very secluded. Hotel is quaint and pretty and the room itself was large. The shower had great pressure and nice and modern. The bed was comfy and the staff very friendly and welcoming.
- paul (6/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): -
- jo (6/5): -
- dale (6/5): Adequate - Great breakfast Terrible view
- Jackie (9/5): -
- Zoe (9/5): -
- Vanessa (8/5): Perfect night stop to stay for a party in Kenilworth - Friendly staff and helpful
Good breakfast
- Guest (5/5): -
- Mark (9/5): - everything , comfortable, great breakfast , staff very good
- Adam (10/5): -
- Janine (9/5): Excellent hotel - Room was very nice. Had 2 chairs. Bit of a walk to the lift if you have mobility issues.
- Julie (10/5): Brilliant stay, location was fantastic for NAEC where I was visiting. I'd definitely stay again. Price was good to - Spacious, fresh, clean and great location. Breakfast choices were excellent quality and
so much choice. Staff were all helpful. Bar area was lovely and there were areas with sofas around the hotels for people who wanted to get together but not in the bar. Grounds were nice too, with outside comfortable seating. Nothing, all was excellent.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Catrin (8/5): We would definitely stay here again. - Location,
Clean bathroom and room
Good breakfast No USB charging plugs in room.
Floor to ceiling window without any shading option - unsure about privacy without closing curtains.
- Simon (8/5): - Friendly staff.
- Sally (9/5): - Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful
- Aloma (8/5): -
- Paul (9/5): - Great location Bar staff a little abrupt and rude
- Jodie (10/5): You are now my number one go to place to stay. - Breakfast delicious. Love the fresh bread you can cut yourself. Would be great to have an option to take away if in a rush. Room lovely clean quiet comfy. Better fresh fruit options but that's me being picky
- Philip (9/5): - Mostly everything. Good staff and food was great. Only thing was having to get an uber everywhere. Put apart from that it was great. Thanks.
- Sue (9/5): Brilliant location, bus ride into Leamington Spa, and a relaxing clean hotel - Breakfast was freshly cooked (this was because the hotel was quiet) and had a very good range of food. Waitress was very attentive.
We also ate dinner the previous evening which was also delicious and plentiful, pudding (crumble) was massive and full of fruit.
There’s stacks of parking available and grounds available for an evening stroll. Staff are very helpful and hotel was spotless.
Bedroom was clean, and had everything you would need for your stay and a lovely comfortable large bed Apart from it being VERY quiet (previous visits it’s been busy) there’s nothing not to like.
- Brian (10/5): - Everything was excellent No smart TV features
- Peter (8/5): -
- Jonathan (10/5): Great stay - Proper size mugs and Kenco coffee in the room. Lovely and clean. They had turned the heating off. Understandable in the current oil crisis.
- HARJIT (10/5): Nice hotel in a fantastic location. - Lovely hotel which has been modernised considerably over time. Clearly the old Manor House has been incorporated to include the extended modern building which houses the bedrooms to stay in. Fantastic views of the rolling English countryside and very comfortable beds and nicely laid out rooms. Full English breakfast was fantastic but there are also more healthier options too. Staff were very helpful and polite. Overall, a nice stay. Thank you. The only downside was lunch was not available at the property so we had to drive to find a place to eat. Saying that, Royal Leamington Spa town centre was only a 5 minute drive. Ample parking at the hotel so we managed to park where we had originally.
- Joanna (8/5): Would stay again. Food was excellent- ignore bad old reviews - Loved the free coffee and snacks in the morning Pillows were hard, room too hot and no thermostat
- Ryan (8/5): - Fantastic environment, great variety of breakfast choicea.
- Simon (8/5): - good gym window in the room didn't close securely
- Anna (7/5): - The breakfast was very good. We have a Coeliac in the family and the breakfast area had a separate section for Gluten Free.
The hotel is about 2 miles out if Leamington but it is walkable, or there are plenty if buses. The rooms could be a little cleaner.
- Anita (8/5): I found my stay very enjoyable and will definitely return. - Location was perfect for NAEC.
The staff were amazing, the hotel was extremely well kept and clean.
We felt so welcome and the little extras, like the cookies and coffee out on the communial area were so cool.
The bar was great, again with friendly, helpful staff. And the bar area was very nice too.
The reception areas and outside seating areas were all very pleasant indeed.
Also the dining area where we had our breakfast was lovely and the buffet was so well equipped and very good food. We could have done with a fan in our room and the cupboard doors were a little broken?/awkward? But if that’s my only issue then I can’t really complain!
- Gwen (10/5): - Great hotel and facilities in a perfect location to visit family in the local area. Rooms were very warm
- Raymond (10/5): Excellent as always - As always the Woodland delivers. Superb facilities and lovely staff. Patricia was her friendly self and is a credit to you all. She always remembers us.This is a difficult time for myself and my wife as we are making numerous trips to the Midlands to tend to an elderly relative who is very poorly. It is the perfect rest over for us on a very long trip. Nothing
- Rachael (10/5): Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings in a great location. Only a few minutes from the town centre -
- keri (6/5): -
- Paul (7/5): -
- Martin (10/5): I’ve stayed here 7 times in the last 10 weeks and it is excellent. The staff are lovely, food is great, especially break - Clean, friendly, big rooms, big bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms can be a bit cold
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Laura (9/5): Great stay - Great value for money .
The room was a bit hot but was an extremely hot day .
Staff very friendly .Very clean hotel .
Little dated outside but nothing that could be easily sorted . Nothing really .Just slightly dated and rooms could do with a bit updating but still extremely clean .
- Philip (8/5): -
- Guest (10/5): -
- Kay (9/5): -
- Stephen VN (10/5): Wonderful. We will be back - Lovely hotel and surroundings, lovely staff and just a relaxing and plush place. Everything was perfect
- Kimberley (8/5): Great value for money and I would book and stay again! - The hotel is in a great location for getting around easily. The staff are really friendly, the room was a good size with a lovely view!
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Claire (8/5): Perfect hotel for one night stay - The hotel is brilliantly situated for Leamington Spa and surrounding areas. Lovely hotel and grounds with lots of communal areas to relax in. The room was spacious and just what we needed. The staff were polite and helpful. We had a table booked for dinner and the restaurant was set out for a conference with big shared tables and a buffet. Not what we were expecting as we’d booked a table and had been sent a sample restaurant menu. There was no mention of a buffet. The buffet was delicious but expensive.
I had a lovely room but my view was of an internal courtyard which was a bit disappointing as the hotel grounds were beautiful.
- David (9/5): - My friend and I are elderly but found the hotel and its facilities very satisfactory. All the staff members we encountered were keen to help, were polite and gave good service.
- Charlotte (7/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Clive (8/5): All in all a great stay, just the room could have done with being in better condition - Breakfast was excellent although they appear to only cater for vegans/vegetarians…no proper sausages!! The room cleanliness was tardy - paint flaking on the bathroom ceiling and cobwebs in all corners of the room at ceiling height.
- Eleanor (5/5): Clean and well maintained - Reception staff were welcoming and very friendly. Room good size. Bed comfortable. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very nice. Food at dinner was awful. I could have tiled the floor with the nan bread and the veg curry was tasteless slop. Member of staff seemed to be also covering reception?
- Paul (7/5): -
- Gary (7/5): Comfortable good value - Nice hotel Dinner not brilliant
- Elly (7/5): Nice hotel with lots of ameneties but food could have been better. - There were lots of ameneties for the price we paid, with plenty of space in the communal areas which was nicely decorated. The complimentary coffee machines and snacks was unexpected and the bar prices weren't bad. The rooms were clean and modern. The customer service of the reception team, bar staff and the breakfast team was lovely. Location wise it was brilliant. Our room was cold as it appeared the radiator wasn't working. The quality of dinner wasn't great either. Whilst it looked delicious it actually tasted quite bland and 'sweaty' from sitting under the heat lamps and genuinely not great. We begrudged paying £50 for two courses although we did ask for a refund which was partially given. Not wishing to embarrass this member of staff but there was quite a strong smell of body odour from which we of course know can't be helped, however, in the interest of food hygiene and the fact they were clearing plates etc, it was quite pungent and off putting.
- JMP67 (7/5): - The room was very clean and spacious. I called prior to staying to enquire about dining and was not informed of the large celebration party already booked in. Also the grazing area was empty and the coffee machines off. That's what made your hotel a little bit more special last time we stayed
- Aileen (9/5): Good selection of breakfast fodder - A good sized room and comfy bed provided for a great night's sleep at Woodland Grange.
We booked last minute. All staff were very personable.
There was a great selection of breakfast fodder which was well presented. Nothing much not to like. If I'm being picky some of the decor was looking a bit tired though this didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay in any way.
It was a wee bit out of town and we chose to drive into Leamington, rather than walk, for an evening meal. We booked last minute and we were pleased that there was a room available so this was no big deal.
