• Christina (1/5): A disappointing experience to say the least - Location Took DND card off door so it could be cleaned and have trash emptied and fresh towels replaced, no one from housekeeping came in after we left in the morning. When we returned Saturday evening there was a party with about 20 kids running all through the hallways playing on the elevators slamming the door next to us, adults slamming the doors over and over at 9:30 at night. Front desk attendant first time I complained said he never knows what to do in this situation. After coming back to our room they continued to run in and out of the room next door slamming the door and running and yelling through the hallway. I called the front desk and told him he needed to do something about it or call someone who does know. Offered for me to change rooms. I refuse to have to pack all of our stuff tonight and move to another room when we check out in the morning. I'm appalled that he wanted me to move rather than addressing the guests who are out of control. I frequently stay at Holiday Inns when I travel for work, but most likely will look into a different hotel chain who knows how to control their guests who don't follow hotel policies. Extremely unhappy with my stay and cannot wait to check out in the morning.

Breakfast was delicious the cook was a little slow in keeping things filled up but we cld have come down at a busy time to. The only complaint we wld have is the breakfast stuff was almost empty wen we got there and it took her a long time to get it filled up and the cinnamon rolls were cold but we heated em in microwave .

The staff could not figure out payments were already made and told us that we needed to contact Booking.com ourselves. It was only after we escalated to manager on duty, things were resolved and we were able to get to our room.

The interior especially the carpet looked a little dated but clean. There was a musty smell on initially entering the room that went away with turning on the AC.

• 596lest (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - We travel for work. Working on Wallmarts all over the east coast from Florida to Main. We stumbled on this Hotel working here in LA Vale. Probly stayed here 10 times sence. Everything is so nice. Very clean. All the staff and house keepers are the best. I would say best breakfest ever. Being a construction worker and leaving early like we do. It's so nice that they start there breakfast at 5:30. EV that works the front desk and check in is fantastic. We rarely ever get treated like this. She makes you feel at home instantly. After a hard days work. You come back to the hotel. She is the first one to greet you. Even ask how tour day was. No one does that. Great place to stay. I recommend this hotel. 10 stars all the way.

The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for a quick one night stay while traveling. My only complaint was when we pulled up at 9:30pm the parking lot lights were not on and the property was very dark. The parking lot was so dark It made you feel unsafe.

Was able to walk next door to a delicious dinner. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay for two extremely tired people. Awoke refreshed and ready to finish our trip. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, safe “home away from home”.

• andykN3529PY (10/5): Holiday Inn, best hotel in La Vale, Md - The rooms are nice; beds and pillows are nice and comfortable. Rooms have microwave and decent mini refrigerator. TV’s are hi def and of decent size. The breakfast’s are awesome; usually alternate between bacon and turkey sausage for meats, then eggs, eggs with cheese, or peppers, eggs, and cheese. Cinnamon rolls, potato chunks, pancakes and biscuits n gravy. Mini fridge stocked with chocolate milk, reg milk, light milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Also have all different kinds of muffins as well as bananas and apples. Susan is always polite and helpful; she usually takes care of breakfast and does an exceptional job, she’s always early (breakfast starts at 5:30) she arrives at 2am in the morning to get everything ready. Wayne takes care of the front desk and is very polite. On of the best Holidays Inn I’ve stayed at; and spend a lot more time in hotels than at home. I’ve stayed at this hotel for about 5 months.

We go there because that is what my grandkids enjoy doing for a family outing during the winter. We enjoyed the extended breakfast hours also. Again the staff was so nice!

• John (4/5): - I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses. Generally, they’re decent for the price. This one was not. The tile floor in the entry way and bathroom was uniformly sticky—so much so that I could feel and hear my shoes sticking to the floor with every step. It was so uniform that if must have been caused by some strange cleaner, not by a spill or missed spot. Neither of us felt like walking on it in bare feet and were glad we brought slippers. The fixtures and finishes are old and tired looking. The bathroom has no nightlight, and the bathroom door won’t stay ajar to let just a little light out through the night. The blackout curtains also won’t fully close, so brilliant floodlights from the parking lot shone in all night. That was all on top of Expedia using deceptive pricing displays on its website (showed price reduced to $103/night plus taxes and fees) and then again on the room selection page before showing a higher price ($139) at final checkout—meaning $158 after taxes and fees. By contrast, I’m staying tonight at a beautiful, sleek, CLEAN hotel in DC tonight for $101, including taxes and fees.

• Laura (8/5): Nice quick stop - Rooms were nice, pool was clean, hot tub is just a hot tub wish it had jets!!! Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast so ok there. Friendly staff

• Verified traveler (8/5): It was good enough. - The individual that checked us in was very nice and helpful! The room was mostly clean, though we did find a vape from a previous customer. The king size bed was nice and comfortable, though a little stiff side. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but most are. There was a large selection of breakfast items such as cheese omelets, egg white and veggie omelets, yogurt, cereal, pancakes, sausage links, bacon, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, pastries, juice, coffee, and water. We felt safe at the hotel and enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the stay was good.

• Robert (10/5): - Stayed for one night and the hotel felt very clean. Didn't have that strange hotel odor that some places have. The staff was friendly. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We arrived later in the evening, so it was nice that the pool was open till 11pm. I was happy with the room and would stay here again.

Best I could've asked for. - There's a lot that I liked about Holiday Inn, the breakfast was really good which is a little bit of a surprise. On top of that, the workers were awesome, very understanding, and extremely helpful. The cleanliness of everything was off the charts. It's hard to say anything bad about the experience that I had, so I guess the best that I could put here is it sucked I didn't really get that much time to see how much better the place was at doing all it did.
