Important Information

An additional hot spring usage tax is applicable per person per night. Guests who are paying with an American Express credit card are required to provide the credit card's unique card code (CID) in the Special Request box at the time of booking. Adult rates are applicable to children 6 years and older. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and available upon request. You must check in by 19:00 to eat dinner at the property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. A traditional Japanese full-course will be prepared for guests with a half board inclusive plan, and guests with an optional dinner. Please inform the property in advance, if you wish to request a child's meal or if you have special diet requests. Please note that all guest rooms are smoking rooms; however, rooms can be deodorized upon request. 佐伯 (5/5): 別府の観光ホテルの「古き良き」を体感 - 夕食も朝食もボリュームがあって美味しかった。特に朝食のサービスをしてくださったスタッフの方々には元気をもらいました。客室もお風呂も完全なシービューで最高でした。泉質も良かった無料の専用駐車場はありがたいです。キャンセルの対応も丁寧にしてくださって助かりました！施設、設備の老朽化した部分を改修され、きれいに保っているものの、ウォーターサーバーが使いづらかったりWi-Fiが不安定でうまく入らなかったりしたのが残念でした。お手頃な宿泊費にしていただいた分仕方ないとは思いますが、バスタオルとタオルが1組ずつしか使えず、貸切風呂や翌朝のシャワーは断念しました。浴場の脱衣所に使い終わったタオルの回収容器を、客室のトイレに手拭きのペーパータオルがあるといいな、と思いました

Selena (9/5): Retro, authentic, lovely staff, quiet area on the waterfront. - Old fashioned Japanese style hotel on the waterfront. Dinner and breakfast were very generous and very Japanese, served by the loveliest people. Our room on the sea side of the hotel was wonderful. Futon beds very comfy. Large rooms. Loved the genuine retro feel. Away from the Hells tourist hotel areas but near shops and nightlife. Not expensive. Nothing.

TZU CHIANG (10/5): - 早晚餐都很棒，吃飯時服務生的服務很貼心，房間很大，海景房景色很漂亮。湯屋浴池都非常的棒，湯好景色也棒。地點非常好，別府塔與唐吉都在旁邊。是住過會想要再回去住的飯店。沒有洗衣房是唯一的缺點。

Andrew (9/5): - Nice, rustic onsen hotel with a seaside view. There might be a few odd spots of wear and tear due to age, but the facility is in great shape. Staff is very accommodating. Not the hotel's responsibility, but the boardwalk could be cleaner; I was being too mindful of where I was stepping when walking there. No complaints otherwise.

Chuchun (10/5): - 服務細緻周到，尤其看到飯店裡許多年長的員工，感覺很親切，即便英語不熟悉也努力將服務做到很好。面海的景色很好，別府灣的美有種寧靜祥和之感。旅館的位置也相當好，走路五分鐘就能到附近商店街、出了旅館門口就能看到別府塔。晚上還能去逛唐吉軻德，或吃附近的居酒屋燒烤。因為是經營數十年的日式旅館，所以設備有些老舊，燈光稍微暗了一些。

The atmosphere, especially the front receptionist are not welcom - Restaurant staff and food was good Location is great but will not recommend Room was clean and I believe it’s very hard to maintain and they did a good job Receptionist staff. Not too friendly and inconsistent with information. They try to charge me at the restaurant extra days of beer and it was on the invoice. The facility was little old for my expectation. Not kept up.

Ｗakana (10/5): また来たい♡ - 初めての利用でした。まず予約内容の確認で電話連絡をもらった時から好印象でした。子どもの年齢に合わせて料理内容を変更した際に発生するこちら側の負担を考慮した提案をして下さり親切さを感じました。子どものスリッパの大きさに気づき娘に合ったスリッパと交換してくれたり、レストランで食べれなかったデザートをお部屋に運んで下さったり、娘の背に合わせてクッションを設置してくれたり、細かいところに気づいて配慮してくれるところが嬉しかったです。そしてお風呂がとても綺麗でした。湯はもちろんのこと、脱衣所やシャワーの場所に至るまで綺麗で気持ちよかったです。また別府に来た時は是非利用したいと思いました。

akihiro (5/5): 荒天の中の強行でしたので、景色がイマイチでした。天気の良い日に再訪出来たらと思います。 - 夕食は個室でゆっくり過ごすことが出来ました。見た目も豪華で、ボリュームもちょうどよく満足です。部屋から別府湾が一望でき、足湯で一日歩き回った足の疲れも取れてよかったです。布団敷きがセルフなのもプライバシーに不安が無く良いと思いました。温泉の湯は良かったのですが、浴槽の縁が背中にあたってゆっくり入ることが出来ないのが難点でした。浴槽も１ヶ所でサウナなどの設備もないので物足りなさはありましたが、ホテルに源泉がある点が安心できます。部屋が和室の布団で寝るタイプでしたが夜中にシーツが捲れて気になりました、全体で包み込むタイプならよかったと思います。

長尾 (9/5): 最高‼︎ - 足湯付きの部屋にしました。夜は満天の星空と夜景、朝は綺麗な朝日と海を見ながらの足湯は最高でした。同じフロアに大浴場があり、部屋からすぐでとても便利でした。夕食も全て美味しく量も多くて満足です。特にお刺身が新鮮でめちゃくちゃ美味しかったです。なによりこの旅館のスタッフさん全員が素晴らしかったです。特にフロントの吉村さん何を聞いても親切に対応してくださいました。色々ありがとうございました。別府駅まで送迎してくれた方もとても親切でした。すぐ近くに別府タワーやトキハ百貨店がありロケーションも最高です。初めての別府温泉この旅館を選んで本当によかったと思いました。最高の滞在時間でした。また別府に来る際はこの旅館を利用します。ありがとうございました。強いて言うなら露天風呂がない事くらいですが、貸切風呂が露天風呂ですし、隣の系列が一緒の旅館の露天風呂も利用できるので問題なしです。
Alyssa (10/5): A beautiful oceanfront stay with delicious breakfast - My room had a lovely carving when you first come in, and had a nice view of the Beppu Towel. It also had a fancy automatic cold/hot water dispenser, which is the first time I’ve seen that in a room. It was on the same floor as the onsen, which was convenient. The onsen itself was lovely, and had a gorgeous uninterrupted view of the ocean if you bathed before it got dark. It was also very close to a bus stop to travel around Beppu and Kannawa. Breakfast was also delicious, and featured fish and tofu heated at the table while I ate. Honestly, no complaints.

The breakfasts and dinners that were included were phenomenal! The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the bay. It was great to be able to sit by the balcony with tea and watch the water. The private rooftop onsen was well worth the price of 1000 yen a session.
