• Mélanie (7/5): C’était bien dans l’ensemble, mais sans être exceptionnel. - Le personnel, et notamment la dame qui s’occupe des excursions, est incroyablement compétent. La femme de ménage qui s’occupait de notre chambre était aussi très gentille : elle souriait tout le temps, c’était très agréable. L’emplacement n’est pas top. Il n’y a pas énormément de choses à faire dans cette partie de l’île. Le restaurant non plus n’est hélas pas très bon…

• Oumaima (3/5): C’est très nul - L’isolement, le naturel et le calme Presque rien autour, si tu dois faire des activités faut un nombre minimum sinon pas d’activité. Déjeuner y’a presque rien sinon y’a tjr des fourmis dans les nourritures. On meurt de faim jusqu’au soir où là ça va. Sinon sur l’île y’a rien à faire, c’est vide et pas animé.

• ALIA FARHANA (1/5): It was like a scam - I dont know. Jetty was dirty the water was filled with garbage. It smells really bad. Hotel was uphill the only way to get there was by shuttle. The van has worn down, the door actually fell off the van. Staff was rude from the reception to the restaurant. No body at the pool to get towels. Pool was dirty. Everything was dusty in the lobby. You had to walk to your room. Mind it was far and it was up hill. Not old people n pregnancy friendly. The bed was worn down it actually sunken. The restaurant was dirty. They served us rotten chicken for lunch. Glasses were served dirty. For breakfast they charged us full price but more than half of the spread was no longer available. We came at 8am so it was not late. When i asked them please refill the cereal they said they cant refill bcoz they were out of fresh milk. They cant even refill fruits. Food was not covered so it was covered with insects and flies. The staff kept smashing the plates n kept giving angry n bad comments to the guest. Some of us just pick up food without plates. To go to the jetty is to far you have to pay for your trip there. It was not easy to go to other beaches you have to pay for public water taxi n was extremely expensive. You can rent motorcycle but not much places to visit. The road was really bad 1 tourist had an accident. Go find hotels near long beach or that has easy access to the beach. It was a really bad experience.
• Sabrina (2/5): Mon séjour dans cet hôtel a été décevant. - Seule la gentillesse du personnel de la réception relève un peu le niveau et le cadre de la jungle est jolie. Mon séjour dans cet hôtel a été décevant. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que la chambre était sale, en particulier la salle de bain : pas de pommeau de douche et un sol en très mauvais état. À notre arrivée (14h), aucune serviette de bain n’était disponible. Après avoir appelé la réception, on nous a d’abord dit qu’elles seraient apportées rapidement, mais après 25 minutes d’attente, on nous a finalement précisé que ce ne serait pas avant 16h. Nous venions pourtant d’arriver et il est logique d’avoir des serviettes dès la remise des clés… Un employé est finalement venu nous apporter des serviettes de piscine, puis, environ une heure plus tard, un autre homme est entré de force dans notre chambre pour déposer des serviettes de bain, alors que nous étions en train de dormir. Cela a été une expérience très désagréable, surtout pour moi qui suis voilée. Durant nos deux nuits, le ménage n’a jamais été fait. Le petit-déjeuner est très limité, et le personnel du restaurant n’est pas serviable : nous avions l’impression de déranger à chaque demande. En revanche, le personnel de la réception était très aimable, ce qui est un point positif. Autre problème : la réception nous avait assuré à trois reprises avoir réservé notre bateau de retour. Arrivés au port, nous avons attendu 30 minutes pour finalement découvrir qu’aucune réservation n’avait été faite… Enfin, l’hôtel est mal situé sur Redang. Les chambres se trouvent dans la jungle, ce qui implique la présence de nombreux insectes et animaux. Des navettes en minibus existent, mais il faut aimer ce type d’environnement. En résumé : mauvaise organisation, propreté insuffisante et service décevant. Seule la gentillesse du personnel de la réception relève un peu le niveau et le cadre de la jungle est jolie.

• Wesley (10/5): Fantastic stay the previous reviews seem far too harsh - Staff were very very helpful all the time. They would take extra care to make sure you would be present on any tour or transfer they organised mopeds for us to ride. Great facilities with gym and swimming pool. The room was large clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, had western and Asian options. WiFi could be better. It would be nice if there was a bar for the evening. I don't understand why the previous reviews were poor this was a great place to stay especially considering the cost.
• constance_p (10/5): - Le logement était situé tout proche du jetty et ainsi donc très facile d'accès depuis toute les activité que l'on peut faire autour de l'île. L'hôtel propose plusieurs activités, location de scooter, un restaurant dans lequel on peut manger local mais aussi plusieurs autres plats européens. Le petit déjeuné était très complet, avec des choix sucrés comme salés. Le personnel était aux petits soins et toujours très arrangeant et agréable. La chambre très spacieuse et calme, avec une belle vue sur la mer. Nous recommandons. PS : la prise en charge au port de Redang est toujours immédiate et super pratique.

• Kelli (10/5): - Ero molto scettica prima dell’arrivo in hotel per via delle recensioni lette, ma onestamente ho trovato una situazione totalmente diversa rispetto a quanto descritto da altri: la struttura in generale è in ottime condizioni (certo, potrebbe essere migliorata, ma considerando il prezzo pagato, non ci si può di certo aspettare un hotel 5 stelle), il personale è estremamente disponibile, cercano di soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta, la colazione è buona nel complesso, la camera grande, spaziosa, pulita e viene rifatta ogni mattina dalle signore delle pulizie e niente di tutto questo è da sottovalutare considera gli gli standard asiatici. Consiglio il noleggio del motorino, in quanto ti permette di raggiungere la turtle beach che è la spiaggia, a mio avviso, più bella dell’isola. Consiglio assolutamente!

• Giulia (6/5): basterebbe davvero poco per renderla una struttura migliore - L'hotel ha una bellissima piscina aperta fino alla sera, il ristorante fa piatti alla carta abbastanza buoni, si possono prenotare le escursioni direttamente dall'hotel che fornisce anche gli scooter per girare l'isola. la vista dalla camera era spettacolare, direttamente fronte mare. offrono anche servizio di taxi boat ottimo, in generale può andare bene come hotel per qualche giorno... lo staff della reception gentile posizione un po' scomoda, materasso scomodissimo con le molle che premevano sulla schiena.. purtroppo abbiamo trovato asciugamani e lenzuola macchiate e abbiamo chiesto di rifare la camera (per fortuna sono stati molto veloci). ogni tanto dimenticavano di portarci gli asciugamani ed erano un pochino approssimativi nel servizio. In generale purtroppo la struttura è un po fatiscente (es. cuscini macchiati e sporchi nell'area comune) Colazione europea assente e a cena il ristorante ogni tanto finiva le bibite , ogni tanto finiva l'acqua. Abbiamo chiesto 3000 volte come poter aver ringgit sull'isola (non c'è atm) e dicevano sempre di non poter far nulla... e solo dopo diversi giorni abbiamo scoperto a caso per conto nostro di poterli avere da loro proprio dalle receptionist a cui avevamo chiesto tante volte con una semplice transazione con pos in euro... non capisco perchè non l'abbiano proposto subito dopo averci visto in difficoltà... a volte mi pare che non sapessero ragionare molto "out of the box".
• chloe (8/5): Would recommend! Amazing staff - I wouldn’t listen to other bad reviews. This place was so lovely and the staff were amazing. The best hospitality we’ve received in a long time. The tours they offer are nice, helped with bike rental. Nice breakfast options. And room was spacious and clean. WiFi was poor in the room. Could do with a little upgrade here and there. Somewhat run down in the bathroom’s mainly and around the pool but can totally oversee it and still have a great time.

D' obbligo il noleggio di un motorino ( no assicurazione, no casco ) per accedere all'unica spiaggia con accesso via terra. Struttura un po' trascurata, male la ristorazione sia per colazione che pasti.

• Laura (7/5): Potenziale non sfruttato! - -Staff molto cordiale e disponibile -Reception accogliente con spazio per lo svago durante la sera -Piscina pulita e comoda -Vicinanza al molo ed a una delle spiagge più belle (Turtle Beach) -Camera pulita e bella vista mare -Date le poche strutture disponibili, il prezzo della camera non è assolutamente conveniente o in linea con la qualità offerta; se si trova un alloggio allo stesso prezzo a Long Beach è sicuramente un affare (Peccato... avendo potenziale, con poche migliorie l'hotel potrebbe alzare il suo livello) -Ristorante da evitare (si mangia molto meglio con 3/4€ nei baracchini tipici della spiaggia di Turtle) -Colazione essenziale (spesso mancano cibi basilari come yogurt, marmellata...) ed a volte non funziona la macchinetta del caffè (se funziona, ca. 20 min per un espresso) -L'hotel organizza differenti escursioni, ma è limitante a causa degli orari definiti e del prezzo alto (se si riesce, meglio organizzare una escursione privata in gruppo) -La posizione obbliga a noleggiare uno scooter per potersi muovere -Trovandosi in mezzo alla natura, è normale che ci sia qualche animaletto in stanza (geco)

• Alice (6/5): posizione pessima - la vista dalla stanza la camera è grande e abbastanza pulita anche se impolverata il ristorante non è male anche se più costoso della media e la colazione buona. siamo stati 2 giorni e per un giorno e mezzo il water non ha funzionato. dopo 4 lamentele ci hanno finalmente cambiato di stanza. sanitari comunque vecchissimi e non c’è acqua calda (massimo tiepida) la posizione è pessima ma in generale l’isola è collegata malissimo. l’unico posto in cui probabilmente conviene prenotare l’alloggio è long beach ma comunque i prezzi dell’isola non giustificano un soggiorno. consigliamo di fare l’escursione in giornata dalle isole perhentian. in generale 100€ a notte sono totalmente ingiustificati.

• Sabrina (8/5): - Je pense que niveau qualité prix c’est le meilleur hôtel mais attention il n’y a pas de plage directement à l’hôtel. L’hôtel propose un bateau pour aller à Long Beach (qui est incroyable et il y’a des hôtels restaurants activités etc) de 15h à 19h pour 11€ par personne. Ainsi que d’autres activités de snorkeling en matinée. Pour aller à Long Beach vous êtes obligés de prendre ce bateau car uniquement accessible pas mer. Si vous souhaitez aller à une autre plage il faut louer un scooter (12€/j) ils vous le relent à l’hôtel très vite. Et en 10/15 min vous arrivez à une très belle plage. La seule accessible en moto de manière simple car il y’a une seule route dans la ville. Le personnel était gentil, les chambres spacieuses et joli. Le restaurant à revoir. Petit dejeuner inclus ça fait l’affaire on aurait aimé avoir quand même un peu plus de choix. Pour le déjeuner et dîner c’est à revoir malheureusement. Le choix est très restreint, la qualité malheureusement manque (je vous conseil les pizza c’est le meilleur choix, burger et sandwich au thon aussi pas mal). Également au niveau des cocktails boissons pas de choix c’est dommage car si on a pas de scooter on est obligé de manger à l’hôtel. Mais je vous conseil d’en prendre et manger au village c’est pas cher et bon.

• Andrea Lorenzo (6/5): Soluzione strategica per l’isola / Struttura Fatiscente - La posizione è perfetta e strategica. Lo staff molto carino e disponibile. Il posto ha tantissimo potenziale totalmente nn sfruttato. L’isola di Redang è un sogno e va vissuta a pieno, importantissimo noleggiare un motorino. La struttura è fatiscente. Le stanze sono normali con dei bagni davvero brutti. Ogni spazio verde non è curato minimamente. La pulizia nelle camere è totalmente da rivedere. Non sostituiscono gli asciugamani mai, non ti sostituiscono le tazze usate, non ti svuotano i cestini del bagno quotidianamente, che contengono carta igienica sporca non potendola buttare nel wc. Il cibo del ristorante è davvero di bassa qualità, dopo la prima sera abbiamo sempre mangiato fuori e ovunque abbiamo mangiato divinamente tranne che nel nostro albergo. Servizio SPA: abbiamo fatto dei massaggi che tecnicamente andavano bene se non per i massaggiatori che ruttavano ripetutamente, io capisco che per la loro cultura non è segno di maleducazione ma lavorando con turisti per lo più occidentali bisogna rispettarsi a vicenda, come noi rispettiamo chi ci ospita. Siamo dei clienti che pagano ed è giusto che all’interno di una spa dove il cliente chiede di rilassarsi per 1 ora, non debba essere costretto ad ascoltare i rutti di un massaggiatore, sentendosi a disagio
• Olivier (10/5): Très bon séjour - Chambre très spacieuse et confortable dans des chalets avec une belle vue. La salle de bain mérite une rénovation. La piscine est tres agréable et le personnel très aimable. Petite plage privée !Le restaurant offre un cadre luxuriant et les plats sont appréciables. Même si l'hôtel est au sud de l'ile, vous pouvez appeler un autre restaurant qui vous enverra une navette gratuite pour vous emmener et vous ramener. Possibilité de louer des scooters, très peu de circulation. Nous recommandons !!!!
• Ilaria (5/5): Overall, the stay was below expectations, with outdated facilities and uncomfortable rooms, but the snorkeling excursion - the restaurant, the deep-fried fish (fritto misto) was ok and probably the best option on the menu. The snorkeling excursions were well planned and very enjoyable, giving us a great chance to discover the marine life around the island. The structure rented equipments for snorkeling in case of need. The personnel is undoubtedly very kind and polite. The structure is unfortunately quite outdated and in need of renovation. Breakfast was barely decent, nothing special. The restaurant was mediocre, and the flat rice noodles were awful and practically inedible. The worst part, however, were the rooms. They are not soundproof at all—you could hear everything as if the neighbors were right inside with you. We had a family with a kid upstate and it was like having an earthquake in the room, while listening to their discourses in clear. Even worse, the beds had bedbugs. This had never happened to us before, and we only realized what those painful bites were days later when we had already moved on to the next stop of our vacation. Overall, the stay was disappointing, and I would not recommend it despite the beautiful surroundings.

• Dorina (7/5): Il plus di questa struttura è la gentilezza di tutto lo staff - Lo Staff si è rivelato sin dall'inizio molto gentile e professionale e si è dato molto da fare per aiutarmi a risolvere un problema che poi è rientrato. La colazione segue lo stile asiatico dando maggior spazio alla parte salata, anche se non manca quella dolce. Se noleggi lo scooter devi sapere che l'assicurazione non è contemplata, quindi ti assumi tutto il rischio in caso di incidente: l'hotel fa solo da tramite con un fornitore locale, ma per il resto non risponde. Gli chalet che compongono la struttura sono circondati dal verde che viene regolarmente curato, però lo stesso non si può dire per gli chalet, che risentono della forte umidità del luogo e che, soprattutto all'interno, risultano un po' trascurati. Il bagno è forse quello che dovrebbe essere più sistemato, perché risulta piuttosto vecchio. Le toilettes della zona piscina sono impraticabili: l'impianto elettrico è irrimediabilmente fuori uso da non so quanto tempo: peccato, basterebbe poco... In generale, si respira un senso di trascuratezza e di poca cura di tutti gli ambienti.

• Hamza (1/5): A fuir - À fuir absolument. J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel et je suis tombé gravement malade à cause d’une intoxication alimentaire. La nourriture servie est douteuse, mal conservée, et sans aucune hygiène. Résultat : vomissements, douleurs, nuit blanche, et séjour gâché. L’état de propreté de l’hôtel est inadmissible : chambre sale, draps tachés, odeur désagréable, salle de bain infecte. On est très loin du minimum de décence qu’un établissement devrait garantir à ses clients. Le personnel est incompétent et complètement indifférent à la situation. Aucun geste, aucune excuse, aucun professionnalisme. Cet endroit est un danger pour la santé, une honte pour l’hôtellerie. Je déconseille fortement à toute personne de mettre un pied ici.

La piscine est bien mais les trous béants au emplacement des éclairages absents sont assez inquiétants ! Le petit déjeuner bien mais un peu limité et peu qualitatif.

• SOPHIE (6/5): Séjour en famille 5/4 nuits - Séjour qui dans l’ensemble s’est bien passée . Le personnel est à l’écoute de ses clients et vraiment adorable . Les excursions proposés étaient top . Le gros bémol de ce complexe est la nourriture qui est vraiment pas terrible. Pas grand choix à la carte,chère et peu savoureux . La literie serait à revoir également . Louer un scooter pour se rendre à la plage public ou autre…

• Selly (3/5): Une horreur - La vue de la chambre depuis le balcon était agréable et heureusement car c’était la bas que j’allais me réfugier pour fuir notre chambre L’emplacement de l’hôtel est trompeur. Sur booking il était beaucoup mieux placé (ce n’est pas la bonne adresse qu’on vous donne). L’hôtel est loin de tout, obligé de louer un scooter ou de prendre des taxi pour se déplacer. La propreté de la chambre laissait clairement à désirer (taches sur les draps, poussière…) et il y avait de nombreux lazare dans la chambre qui faisait beaucoup de bruit pendant la nuit.

Der Transfer mit dem Boot auf die Insel und ins Hotel und umgekehrt war gut organisiert und hat reibungslos funktioniert. Es gab täglich frische Handtücher und Wasser und für den Pool konnte man extra Handtücher kostenlos bekommen. Einiges in der Anlage war sanierungsbedürftig, und defekt. Die Türen und Fenster haben nicht richtig geschlossen, weshalb es einige tierische Mitbewohner gab. Für das Hotel und das Restaurant hat das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht gepasst, das war die mit Abstand teuerste Unterkunft auf unserer Malaysia Rundreise und eine der Einfachsten. Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren frisch gewaschen, aber voller Flecken.

• Dinesh (6/5): - The property is very close to Jetty and they have a van that will drop and pick up from the jetty to hotel. This is the only good part about the property. The property itself is very old and the rooms are sub standard. We had 2 rooms and one of the room AC did not work properly but luckily the ceiling fan was enough for our stay. We had a connecting door between the two rooms and so the AC in other room helped to some extent. The other issue is that the property is very far from the beach. The beach is near the Taaras resort property which is about 4.5 km away and can only be reached if you rent a scooter. The breakfast, as others have mentioned is very bad. We even tried the ala carte lunch but we were very disappointed with the taste and food quality. For the two days we stayed, we actually ate at another resort hotel which was called De rimba resort and they had excellent food. There was another small bakery close to our property called Pink restaurant or cafe I think which is at the entrance of the Jetty and their carrot cake is highly recommended. The property itself is very clean and quiet and the hotel staff was very nice and welcoming. We also had a massage booked but the massage too was just ok for the price. I have had far better massage treatments. Overall, it was an ok stay, nothing that I would remember or recommend if I ever visit Redang island.

Nous avons pu nager avec des tortues etc. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Un minivan est à votre disposition pour les transfert port-hotel.
