- khristianr2025 (10/5): Impressive Property, Friendly People - This was my first stay w an Aloft and I was very impressed. The lobby and entire Property is new construction and modern design, the lobby is comfortable and meant for lounging. Full bar and restaurant on site and the prices are reasonable. Nice Fitness Center w heavy weights. The outdoor pool area is a standout and looks appealing when the weather cooperates (cold for my trip). The room has streaming TVs, super comfortable bedding, and is new construction. Located next to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Will at the Front Desk took care of me during my Stay, he was friendly and helpful, and I had a pleasant and relaxing visit.
- W2772XAkk (2/5): is the ptsd over yet? - im in one of their rooms now & im staring at a completely massive BLACK WALL! its giving me massive PTSD! theres only electric on 1/2 of the room. theres nothing on the other side wheres theres a king bed! that person is not allowed to charge their phone bc this place is intended to be a PRISON! BLACK WALLS opposite the beds!! PTSD!!!! also theres no light at night except a dim nitelite. no lamps! no towels were left in this room. there was supposed to be a microwave. its not there? says the front desk, well you will have to do without they say. theres none here. these people work in texas prisons when theyre not working here. they dont seem to know the difference! they seem like quiet quitters that need to finish their drink and get another. this place is built for TORTURE! come right in‼️did you know they use black walls in special ops for torture? also maximum security prisons like Supermax! they do it intentionally. they just called the cops now. cop was nice & said the black wall needs to go! shoutout to Officer Ingalls! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
he left. he told them too! said this is unlawful to put black walls in the rooms of hotels. its illegal torture. the windows are tiny portholes! they wont let you in at the stairs. door never unlocks. have to walk 1/2 mile to elevator. but im 1/2 mile away at the stairs. they stick people next to stair bc those room are never serviced. no lamps towels color electric lps colors white color nonblack color! more inconvenience. this place is run by a bully, thats for sure. im surprised its in business w these BLACK WALLS!
smells like BENZENE in here. .
food is all bioengineered gmo & its labmeat from a 3D printer. these some splashed on the BLACK WALL too. gmofree PANERA across the street tho.
photo shows the BLACK WALL‼️‼️
- sroark (6/5): Mixed Experience at an Acceptable Hotel - I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Pros, the hotel lobby is inviting, fresh, and modern; the bar was convenient for a nightcap though not open in the afternoon. Check-in was efficient and simple. The hotel location is great and the room was clean. Cons, inadequate insulation between rooms and halls resulted in intermittent noise inside our room. Thankfully, all guests were reasonably early to bed so it did not impact our sleep over the weekend. The major let-down was that the bed and pillows were far below typical Marriott brand standards. I guess I am getting old! Despite these minor negatives, we would consider staying here again with better aligned expectations next time.

- G4440RFkarlad (2/5): DO NOT waste your money, trip or time here - I made a reservation to stay at this Aloft location during my son’s New Student Conference event at Texas A&M. We had the second day booked at the TAMU conference hotel and figured that since it was only one night, it didn’t really matter where we stayed and I knew I could rely on Marriott’s quality hotels for this stay. I found this hotel on their website and it looked modern and clean so I booked it. However, I was a bit taken back when we arrived and noticed a particular smell (a mix of old, smoke & mold - even though there are signs saying not to smoke) as we entered the lobby. We figured maybe it was just the lobby. We were given a room on the second floor and as we entered the room we noticed that it was extremely cold (maybe 60 or lower degrees) and my husband said that perhaps it was set that way because of the smell, which I didn’t notice as much when I first entered. I went to use the restroom and immediately felt a urine odor and then saw some dripping stains on the wall in between the toilet and the sink, which appeared to be urine. We lowered the temperature and noticed the smell of mold and urine got louder as the room warmed up. We went to pick up food and my son, who is extremely allergic to mold, begin to sneeze and had a running nose. We called the front desk and told them about our experience and they offered to move us to another room but unfortunately the problem seems to be over the lobby and the hotel as a whole. We let them know that we simply couldn’t stay because the hotel did not meet our expectations of a Marriott hotel. I am a platinum Bonvoy member and have stayed at various Marriott hotels over the last decade, of all levels, and unfortunately this hotel has been by far the worst. What made it worst is that we were told by staff that we would get a refund but we never did. When I called to speak with the manager, James, he was unapologetically rude and didn’t seem to care much about our experience and more concerned about whether or not the staff had promised us a refund.
I DO NOT recommend this hotel for anyone who cares about the condition and cleanness of where they stay or the customer service that typically comes along with a Marriott family hotel. Go down the street to the Residence Inn or any of the other ones in the area. It’s not worth it. It is also most certainly NOT a family friendly hotel. My husband said it reminded him of the low quality hotels in the projects.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Only negative was that the bartender called off and the bar was closed
- Layton (10/5): -
- Roderick (10/5): -
- Daniela (10/5): - Had a nice quiet time
- ced (10/5): - ok
- Nathan (10/5): - Everything was fantastic. Always is at Aloft
- Janae (10/5): - Great stay!
- Nathan (10/5): - Aloft is always right on point.
- Vicki (5/5): Passable - The rooms are nice. Glass shower. Comfortable beds. AC was bad. You cannot control it. Ran at 73 in one room and 74 in another. Sounds like a jet engine taking off and then two minutes later it lands no matter what the temperature is in the room. Big no no to me. Pool was very cloudy. Would not swim.
- Roblee (8/5): - Convenient to everything
- Andrew (6/5): - The room especially the bathroom were gross. Front desk staff were all nice. Would not come back and stay though. I ended up leaving early and did not decide to stay the night I already paid for. Very bad.
- Eric (8/5): - It's a 3-star hotel, maybe on the top end of that. Bathroom pretty underwhelming. Staff was great.
- Jill (10/5): great stay in college station - nice room, quiet, good amenities, friendly staff
- Geline (10/5): - Was great for a quick work trip.
- Tracie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chapman (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable, will definitely stay again!
- Jackie (1/5): Bad - Nothing Please call to much to put
- David (10/5): - Nice stay
- Andrew (8/5): - Overall the Aloft property was nice. It was clean and a friendly staff. There were some minor maintenace issues such as a very creaky door to our room and shower door was also loud. But otherwise a nice stay.
- Charles (8/5): - Everything was greats except not chair to sit in except the little chair for the desk which was very uncomfortable. No outlets at the desk.
- Mark (6/5): Comfortable rooms - Breakfast is terrible. Microwave food with an expensive price. I would rather have a continental breakfast. Rooms were good and comfortable. Nice staff.
- Felipe (10/5): - Great stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Room & Good Location
Location - We were in town for a Sunday night to Monday morning, nice room & good location. I'd stay there again.
- عبدالعزيز (5/5): Shaaaaking - Friendly staff Everyday during the day, the bedroom/ bed was shaking that you can’t sleep. I checked with the front desk and they said it is the washing machine very strong to shake the building!!
- Faraz (8/5): Very good -
- Nanditha (6/5): - I could hear people talking either in the next room or in the hallway-in the middle of the night.
The lady at breakfast had difficult understanding my order. The room and bathroom seemed outdated.
The bartender was great Monday night! My vodka soda was perfect.
- Marie (7/5): Ok. But for 2 nights at $599 overpriced. - Location Pillows were so uncomfortable. No support. Huge spider in bathroom. Coffee service didn’t look clean.
- Amy (10/5): - Lovely room with plenty of space. Great spot to stay!
- Marie (8/5): - The hotel itself was good but it was the courtesy of the staff (particularly the front desk) and how they went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating.
- Jennifer (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay!
- staff was friendly
- the bed and linens were so soft and comfy
- great bar
Overall a great experience and we will be back soon.
- 948skyw (10/5): Family Time - Had a great stay when visiting family in CS. Whole family came to the hotel and hung out at the bar to catch up on how everyone was doing. Fran was a great bartender and host for our family. Seems like we only get together for sad occasions. Room was fine, clean, everything we needed.
- Jessica (8/5): - Front desk staff was EXCELLENT to work with! Both ladies for check in and check out top notch
My only downside was our room smelled a little off for our stay.
- Irina (8/5): - Nice. Clean. Safe. Friendly staff.
- timsmallwood (10/5): Great game day stay - I arrived to a fountain out front at a very convenient location . The check in experience because I was ignored on the app chat and never got a digital key. The front desk staff was not able to communicate with the housekeeping staff to tell me when a room would be ready, but it only took 15 min to get me in ~1:30. There were no luggage carts. The room had a comfy bed, big shower, nice view. The pool was open and clean. It was a solid experience.
- Steven (8/5): - The hotel was clean and the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is a joke. I am amazed that a hotel of this calibre would charge such outrageous prices for packaged microwavable foods. If breakfast is going to cost over 10 dollars it should be cooked or just don't offer breakfast.
- michaelvU1919DN (10/5): Mocktail Heaven - Excellent stay and bar— we enjoyed these delicious mocktails made by the best bartender, Fran! Green Tea infused with ube, coconut.. super delicious— 10/10. Property is well maintained. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Overall great stay!
- Bertha (7/5): Good -
- Amber (10/5): - comfortable, clean, good condition and staff was friendly
- Carla (6/5): - In my mind, not the same standard as most aloft hotels that I’ve stayed at in the past. Didn’t really offer breakfast, I don’t consider pop tarts breakfast, and the creamers were not fresh. The curd in the coffee. Workout Room was small and had no wipes to wipe down the equipment that had clearly been sweated on. Was told to check out that because I didn’t book through them. They could not provide me with a receipt of my stay.
- Pamela (8/5): - Staff was very accommodating and the rooms were clean. Good experience. I would book there again.
- Erin (10/5): - My first time at an Aloft. We left another hotel after a bad experience, so i was relieved to walk into this cool lobby. Great outdoor leisure area. Hotel bar. Cool games in the lobby. Great snack items. Starbucks is close and they have a Dutch Bros near by too! It was easy to get to amenities near by - lots of options within 10 to 15 minutes
- Kevin (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and clean. It was also in a good location.
- Scott (8/5): - Staff at check out was courteous and friendly.
- Flavia (10/5): - it was a lovely stay. close to everything. clean and the hotel staff is very friendly.
- 262keithd (8/5): Good Aloft property - This is a good Aloft property off one of the main roads in College Station. It’s nestled back and takes a little effort to get to but has easy turn access or back roads to other areas around town. The closest restaurant was closed down so nothing within walking distance but plenty of nearby drivable food options.
- roger (10/5): - na
- Patrick (8/5): Overall recommended - Central, clean and offers basically all you need. We stayed there for one month (experiment at TAMU). The rooms were quite large. The rooms are a little worn down (e.g., loose faucet, etc.). They advertise a laundry machine for which they cannot give you any coins (3$ in quarters)… That was pretty annoying.
- CINDY (10/5): - its was great the only thing was the TV was not working
- Anthony (10/5): Weekend getaway. - Very nice property. Staff very friendly.
- TXGirl72 (8/5): Pleasant Stay - Very basic, no frills hotel with an extremely comfortable bed. A nice addition is there's a lobby bar open in the evenings and a pool table and seating area in the lobby for use at any time. It was what we needed it to be for the weekend: A place to shower and sleep.
- Mary (10/5): - Awesome
- Georg (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kari (10/5): - The room was very clean and the front desk staff was very nice.
- Angela (10/5): - Nice & easy stay. Also pet friendly with lots of grassy areas. Gym was closed & we didnt use the pool. Walls are thin but overall it was a good 5 night stay.
- Tavares (8/5): Good stay - Stay was good. Was supposed to have a king suite but was given a 2 queen suite . It was a busy collage graduation week so no a problem. Would stay again
- Jeannette (2/5): - Trash place. Never coming here again.
- Silvana (7/5): Good deal for the price. - The decoration of the hotel and rooms. Very clean too. The isolation is not good. I was able to hear the entire conversation of my neighbors who did not alow me to sleep until late.
- Li-chuan (7/5): Nice stay for very reasonable price. - Location was convenient to university and shopping. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and quiet from outside noise. It has a nice common area in the lobby for hanging out/snacking and outdoor area was also nice and inviting. Fitness gym was in good condition. The walls were very thin and woke up to a baby crying one morning and people jumping up and down on the floor above us late at night so we had to switch rooms.
- Erica (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing
- Kassandra (6/5): Over all could have been a lot better. - The property was really nice. There was a washer and dryer by our room and our bed was SHAKING through out our stay which woke us from our sleep.
- Lorda (8/5): - Very helpful staff
- Enrique (10/5): - very nice and clean but also pet friendly.
- Danielle (9/5): Superb -
- Young (10/5): - Great noce property
Very nice rooms
Will stay here again
- Lawrence (8/5): - Cool place for young adults or families . There is a Bar and a pool table and giant connect 4 game. And a host of other games that could be checked out. Modern look to the place.
Bathrooms were the most disappointing part of the room. Other than that pretty cool spot. Would be alot cooler if they offered free breakfast !! Just saying…
- Jessica (8/5): Needs improvement - As always the bed was fantastic! The room i stayed in was not very clean when i arrived. Crumbs left on one of the desk spaces, water marks on the mirror and something crusty on the toile seat. The room looked like it had had some damage to the walls and closet but was "patched" up. Not very well. Carpets looked very dirty.
- Isabella (10/5): - Love that their hygiene for hair made my hair so soft instead of dry and frizzy and love the bar!!
- Zachary (8/5): - Everything was clean and ready to go!
- Juanita (6/5): Hot - Everything would have been perfect if the ac worked in my room.
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- m00nbeam2018 (2/5): Not great - My other half is Titanium Bonvoy. So we stay at a lot of Marriott hotels. Id say this one the worst stay at a Marriott property that I’ve ever had. Generally the property is well maintained. The shower in my room was filthy, human hair stuck on the walls. At 3 am the hallways were so loud, it sounded like a herd of drunk rhinos were coming through the walls. Walls are thin. It’s so noisy that it is hard to sleep.
- roger (10/5): - Aloft employees are just great.
- Sheri (10/5): My Hair slept so good - Dry bar products in the shower! Are you kidding me?!?
Comfy beds, great lobby, perfect for a short stay
- Zongru (4/5): - There are ants.
- Jinger (8/5): Nice place - Nice place. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again
- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfortable but Noisy Stay - The staff at this hotel is great! We were welcomed in everytime we walked through the doors. I had questions about my room charges and she was very detailed and broke it all down for me. I primarily booked this hotel for the bar hoping to have some morning mimosas or some wine while working. However the bar does not open until 6pm. This should be noted on the website.
The facility could use some improvements. It looks like it was just remodeled, but very poorly. There were holes in the wall and visible sheetrock. Interesting grout presentation in the shower.
My only complaint is the noise level of the cleaning staff. The walls of most hotels are thin. However, both mornings during my stay I heard doors slam and every movement in the rooms next to me. I had a do not disturb placard on my door and they still knocked and tried to come in. I just feel like there should be a little courtesy with these kinds of things. It won’t stop me from staying on the property again though.
- W1617DFlaurenb (2/5): Confusing and disappointing - This stay was very confusing. We thought Aloft hotels were nice, this one was run down and the front desk person was awful. She said as few words as possible to us when we checked in, and when we got back to the hotel later she was spraying water somewhere near the food and said, “there is a bug im scared” as we walked by, and then she screamed at the top of her lungs. In the room, the bathroom had mold and Sheetrock damage from water. There was a strange window in the shower that looked into the bedroom so taking a shower after kids went to bed wasn’t possible because the light would go through. Old TV with no streaming options. The AC was located under the desk so sitting at the desk was impossible and air flow to the rest of the room was restricted. We paid an exorbitant amount of money for our 1 night stay ($320) and just couldn’t believe this was an Aloft hotel, let alone a Marriott property. We emailed Marriott customer service and never heard anything. We’re gold elite Bonvoy members so we expected more.
- Ogbojo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (8/5): - We were placed on a floor with construction, the whole hallway was a mess.
- Tina M (4/5): Sadly disappointed - We have stayed at this particular hotel several times over the past six years and have always enjoyed our stay so Aloft is always our choice when we come to visit our family. This particular time, the elevator was dirty and the hall to our room was smelly, dirty and had slight damage - it looked run down. Thankfully, our room was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable as always. However, the a/c was very loud throughout the night and there was some sort of damage that lifted the tiles off the floor in front of the sink because they were all uneven and the grout lines were filled with black tub & tile sealant. To end our one-night stay, we had a check out time of Noon and housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30-ish waking us up. Overall we were disappointed with our stay and the condition of the hotel.
- Enrique (10/5): - Excellent everything
- James (4/5): Would not stay here again - Very dark, poorly lit. Air conditioner fan made loud noise that cycled loud and not as loud. Shower had tile floor that was very slick. Not sure if this is a renovated hotel, but it looks like it was renovated with shoddy work. Fourth floor hallway had carpet that layed over about half of the original carpet without the strip that would normally secure the rough edge to the floor.
- Carlos (10/5): - All
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was an ok hotel but way, way overpriced. The elevator was out of service, no breakfast, we were there with our soccer group and couldn’t get rooms even close together.
