- Michael (6/5): Not staying there again. - First off the woman we rented from us very nice and accommodating as much as she could. Seems like a very hard worker. They communicated to us we had to switch rooms in the middle of the week, which was very inconvenient. I wish I did not say yes to that. The first room was ok, small but did the trick. The second room was really bad. It smelled like smoke so bad, my son has asthma and had so many asthma attacks from this room, we did complain and she tried to help but it did not go away, we all smelled like smoke and our clothes smelled so bad also. People are really loud at all hours of the night and the beds were really uncomfortable. A lot of things didn’t work. The drain in the bathroom had tons of hair in it, when I gave my kids a bath, there was gross hair floating in the water. You get what you pay for, I would not stay there again. I do appreciate the efforts from the owner, just wasn’t the best stay.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Check-in went smooth. The location is great. Beautiful surroundings. Walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants and bars. Other tenants were very nice and informative about the place. But a neighbor constantly slammed the door throughout the eve. Parking was a bit confusing. I was told to park at 1, someone was already there, so I parked at 2, but no consistency during the few days. Manager had me blocked in & was mad when they had to move the vehicle to let me out. We were in shock when she verbally went off about it. The room smelled of cigarettes every morning when the air kicked on, not sure if it was coming from the neighbors or the ventilation system, had to borrow some room spray to help. Over all, it was good weekend get-away.

Ceiling Fan in Bedroom was ready to fly off (Screws missing), Black Mold in Bedroom Window, Black Mold around shower enclosure, Bathtub doesn't hold water, baked on food in coffee cups, Dirt- Mold & Bug in Silverware Drawer, coffee maker screws fell out as coffee was brewing. Overall very dirty room. Free WIFI - doesn't work. I took pictures to back up my story. Picture advertised do NOT match what we was advertised.

Each room had it's own special charm that we really enjoyed. It's no expensive luxury resort just a "down home condo" feel which made it all that much better for us. The room exceeded my expectations for the cost and location. Planning another trip next summer already!

Hot water took forever. Parking was limited. You can hear people talking outside your door. Was not a pleasant experience.

- Kristen (8/5): Perfect little getaway - Great place and everyone on the property was awesome. May not be super fancy, but for a small, quiet beach hotel it was exactly what we needed. Close walk to everything and with the dock out back we could keep our jet ski there and use it whenever we wanted. Perfect stay.
- Cheryl (6/5): Disappointed. - Place was old. Grounds and pool were pretty good. Room was basically clean. Amenities worn. Enamel off of sink and shower in bathroom. Pullout couch bed was horrible. Felt every spring in it. Second night we put couch cushions on mattress so we could sleep. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
- Carole (10/5): Super reasonably priced and great all around - We came to enjoy our Anniversary. The condo/hotel was very nice and very clean and came equipped with many extras provided in our condo. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. So many places to enjoy food and entertainment all with in walking distance! We would definately go back!

- Crystal (10/5): Awesome Family Getaway - I stayed in 110 and loved it. the sofa bed was uncomfortable but everything else was fantastic. I would definitely recommend and also go back myself. I was early to check in the the staff was awesome in accommodating

- Janet (8/5): Layout exactly as we needed - Very friendly and informative staff,saw to our needs immediately. However the kitchen area ie stove ,fridge outer areas very dirty,bathroom taps poor ,cupboards inside and out needs good cleaning,updating. Bedroom carpet disgusting ,having said all that ,,once we cleaned a few things to our standards it was fine .they are trying very hard to upgrade
- Verified traveler (4/5): Spend the extra money... - I stayed at this hotel based on a 4.0 average rating from previous guests. Unfortunately, I would have to rate it 2.5. First, the manager is pleasant enough and did her best. The room was dated and while seemed clean on the surface, wasn't that clean. They stated 2 full size beds. One was a twin bed and the other one was like sleeping on a rock. The windows are from the 1950's, roll open type. The amount of noise from the busy street and the other residents partying until all hours, forced me to take something just to fall asleep. Then there's the cigarette smoke (and other smoke) that permeated our room. People sat just outside our room puffing away. My wife and I had to wash every stitch of of clean clothing we brought home. They absolutely wreaked. The parking...well, I had to bother the manager to chase some very suspect character parked in my #'d spot, that wasn't even staying at the hotel and every other time I left, someone was parked in my spot, when I returned. To make matters worse, someone dented my wife's new car, by obviously slamming their door in ours. The final issue for me was HANDICAPPED PARKING. The owner, who is Canadian and doesn't possess a handicapped tag for Canada or the US, parks in the only handicapped spot. When I asked the manager what was the deal, she got a little hot and said she had more rooms than parking spots...Yeah, ok, I guess that usurps state and federal laws. Suffice to say, I will spend the extra money next month that I am up there...

- Jodi (10/5): Great taste of Florida without commercialization! - We were more than pleasantly surprised by our little sanctuary at the Malyn Resort! It was locally owned, and felt like an authentic taste of Florida. Clean kitchenette room decorated like a getaway, with full use of kitchen and a full sized fridge. Loved our entire experience! Highly recommended!
- Amy (10/5): Home away from home! - Everything about this little place is amazing. My studio room was perfect. The ladies running the joint were warm and friendly. The docks. The views! Proximity to the beach & food. Best part of all was the other guests and having coffee and conversation every morning out on the balcony area. My grandparents used to come here, so I’m continuing the tradition. I’ll be back soon!

- Tiffaney (8/5): Close to the beach - We stayed over Christmas break, it looks like the condos are all different inside, so I think ours was just one that had not been updated. The staff was friendly and accommodating, we drove from Indiana and arrived an hour early, so they made sure our room was ready ASAP. We walked everywhere, it was close to restaurants and shopping, very close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. I loved having a kitchen so we did not have to eat out for every meal. I disliked our bathroom the most, we have a toddler who takes bath and the bathtub was a little gross.
