• Tracy (8/5): Close to the train station. - We arrived late( after 5pm) to the property and we appreciated that the staff waited to check us in. The room was a good size and the bathroom was clean and nicely presented. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with a good range of fruits, pasties, cheeses and meats. The property is extremely handy to the train station if you are transiting through Florence. There was a little train noise during the night but nothing that was too disturbing.

• Kate (9/5): We had a wonderful stay at La Nannina and it provided us with a wonderful end to our trip. - The location was incredibly handy to access the main attractions, walking distance to the train station and all the sights of Florence were accessible by a 15-20 minute walk. The room was comfortable, clean and charming with helpful and kind staff. We enjoyed the breakfast offer, it was a nice option to have alongside the accessibility of the kitchen where we could make coffee whenever we wanted. We had a wonderful stay and cannot identify anything specifically that we didn't like or enjoy. Something to note is that the B&B is situated by a fairly busy road to the train station and the tram runs late which results in some road noise, this wasn't an issue for us and is not something that can be changed, but just something to highlight.

The location is near to the railway station and between 2 tram lines so could be noisy but soon got used to it. View of graffiti wall from room wasn’t great.

Very clean, bright, good breakfast and friendly staff. A few sketchy people hanging out near the train station. The B&B was well secured and we felt safe inside. And of course because we were so close to the train you could hear it or the tram go by.

All the staff members were welcoming and gave me a map with great recommendations. My room was so cozy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious every day, and they left plenty of snacks and food for us to munch on throughout the day and night. It was conveniently located just minutes from the train station and center of town. I couldn’t have had a more wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Everything was perfect.

The hospitality was exceptional — when we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, they welcomed us with chocolates and sparkling wine, which was such a thoughtful touch. The place is beautiful, extremely clean, and the bed is large and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the water and biscuits available throughout the day. The location is also perfect, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommended!

• Hermann (9/5): Angenehmer Kurzaufenthalt in Firenze - Für uns Interrailer ideale Lage, weil nur etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof Firenze SMN entfernt und auch nahe der Altstadt. Das B&B La Nannina ist ein kleines und feines B&B, wir haben eine gute Beschreibung der Erreichbarkeit erhalten, sehr freundlicher Empfang, sauberes Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon im 1. Stock des Gebäudes, gutes Frühstück, sehr gute, eher feste Matratze, WC und Dusche auf etwas engem Raum. Straßenbahn vor dem Fenster, fährt aber in der Nacht nicht. Die große touristische Nachfrage führt in Firenze insgesamt zu einem höheren Preisniveau.

• Lori (8/5): If I returned, I would request the room not over the train tracks with no shared walls. - The staff are great, the room was the perfect size for my needs and the breakfast was lovely. The walls are fairly thin and I was kept awake by the trains outside my window and a fellow in the next room who was having a breathing problem of some sort.

Steps from the train station so I was able to get from the airport and catch my train for my horse riding trip. There is a very cute coffee shop that I would stop in at the end of the night for a glass of wine or desert.

If it is not full it feels like you are in your own house. Very nice breakfast with many options and no wake up time limit. The building is not in the best neighborhood especially during nighttime. If you are unlucky with the other quests it may get noisy in the room, hopefully we were lucky! A nice addition would be a safe box

Room was small and lacked space for clothes and no place for hair and makeup, but it was fine for the 2 days

• Sue (10/5): La Nannina was our sanctuary after long days walking around Firenze - The B&B was very secure requiring entry to the building via a coded gate. The B&B was cosy with good breakfasts and access to the kitchen to make drinks, top up water bottles and snacks. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The railway station was a few minutes walk away which was excellent for us for our onward journey. Many of the main sites were no more than 15/20 minutes walk away. The B&B had recommendations on where to eat. Nothing.
• Rebekah (5/5): Renovated apartment in an old building - Once you're in the apartment, everything is very clean and nice. The bathroom was spacious. I know this kind of B&B is common in Europe, but as an American, I found it really weird. The place is in an old apartment building that has some B&Bs and some regular people who just live there. The whole B&B is just one apartment that has been renovated. I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from staying here, but I'm just trying to make sure others know what they are actually booking so they aren't as shocked as I was upon arrival. For what it is, I don't think it was worth the cost.

Nos orientou sobre os pontos turísticos e deixou a gente tomar café antes do horário porque iríamos a um passei e sairíamos muito cedo. No banheiro tinha muitos mimos e detalhes pensados no conforto dos hóspedes que não tinha visto em nenhum outro lugar. Os outros hóspedes fumavam dentro do local, deixando o cheiro para quem não fuma, muito desagradável a noite toda. A acústica também é um pouco ruim.

• Stephen (10/5): Excellent - We stayed for 3 nights and it was genuinely an excellent stay. The B&B is literally 300m from the right hand station exit, as you come go down the steps, turn right and walk past the flower seller / post office and look ahead & you’ll see a building with a CNA sign & the B&B is just to the left. The check in was easy as we stayed in contact on the day. The room was clean, a/c worked well, shower was hot, breakfast a simple continental, that did the job, and the location is superb. We did two days walking from the B&B into Florence as it’s only 10 mins, on the second day we also took the number 13 bus to Plazza Michelangelo, the stop is a 10 min walk. We were also able to take the regional bus to Siena (90 mins journey) as the bus station is also only about 400m away from the B&B. On the ground floor is a cafe, where you can get a beer, glass of wine or ice cream, I would not eat here as there are lots of superb restaurants in Florence. The overall area, as it’s by the main station, can be intimidating at night.

Breakfast every morning and a little kitchen in common area stocked with cold water when we returned from really hot days. Location was was minutes from everything we wanted to see. Convenient too to have a little bistro right downstairs for days that were too hot to walk anywhere for a snack or light lunch. If you are a light sleeper, be aware that you will hear train noises due to the convenient location. This does not bother me as location and friendly help will supersede noise level.

Andrea was a lovely host, adding knowledgeable advice and conversation on arrival and at breakfast Not so much a dislike, but finding the entrance was trickier than expected.
