Ingrid (10/5): Fantastic Spot! - We went to a wedding nearby and stayed here for location. What we didn't know was how fabulous the B & B hosts were going to be, as well as the comfort of the rooms! Large space w living room and kitchen, beautiful setting and a homemade breakfast that was better than anything we could have found at a 5 star restaurant! Lovely stay!!!
Connie (10/5): B - We have been to Penticton many times but when the kids were younger. Staying on the other side of the lake where all the wineries was such a pleasant experience. The Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful view of the lake and the vineyards. Kristen was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were delicious with many German additions. The jams and the bakery items are made in the kitchen. We highly recommend OK Whistle Stop.

The room was very spacious, the bed so comfortable and views over the lake make this place so special. It is also within walking distance of a local winery/bistro that has an incredible menu.

Steven (10/5): Exactly what we were looking for - My wife and I loved our stay at the OK Whistlestop... Just a quick two-night stay, but we loved our swim in the pool each morning and of course Kerstin's morning, homemade breakfast complete with cherry juice and served outside on the deck. Very Okanagan... Our suite was the Hamburg suite (some sites call it the Romance suite). The one-bedroom suite... Lots of room to move around with a living room, a kitchen with table and a little fridge. We loved our stay... Though we didn't bring our bikes to ride to wineries along the KVR trail, maybe that's something for next time. Thank you.
Valerie (10/5): Beautiful View - Beautiful gardens and a stunning view from the deck that spanned the entire length of the house. Our two bedroom was very clean, and the kitchen was an added bonus. The pool was like new and was super clean - it was perfect for cooling off after a hot ride (the trail is right beside the property?). Lovely hosts and an overall wonderful stay.

Our original booking at another B&B was canceled near midnight, the night before we were to arrive, and Kirsten was amazing in helping us secure a room and making our trip memorable. You are right in the heart of Naramata and the wine tours, and Penticton is a short drive away so the location is superior. You are on the side of the water, not across the busy road, so the views are spectacular. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the food was fantastic! We will return.

What I didn't like was that I had to pay a steep fee for 1 extra child to be with us. and by steep I mean an extra $360 for 2 nights for 1 kid.

The breakfast was delicious and plenty, the suite is spacious and well-equiped (loved the shower), the area is quiet and beautiful. The owner couple are the nicest and most friendly, but they respect our privacy. I will definitely come back hopefully in the near future!

The breakfasts my wife and I were served were second to none. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing. beautiful place to stay, look no further. I will definitely be back for another stay. .
UKvisitor (4/5): Nice location, vastly overpriced for a house - Pros: lovely location, well kept rooms, good breakfast Cons: This is a house run by a husband and wife, complete with children running around and using their bikes - which charges top hotel style prices as if it were a leading hotel. It’s not. Its attitude to customers sometimes feels slightly passive aggressive. A number of rude communications in the room threatening a charge for this or that. And a copy of the relevant criminal legislation. As if customers were potential criminals. There is a swimming pool. On arrival we were told it was infested by wasps. It has a messy frontage outside the main building which needs tidying At points during our stay the hot water in the building ran out. The male owner who I and other guests who I spoke to found rude advised that this should be expected as lots of people were using the facilities at the same time. This is not what I expect given the prices charged.. You hire their suite but despite the excessive prices they charge a linen fee for using more than one bed. Again this feels excessive given the prices they charge anyway

The terrace is awesome in the afternoon and sipping naramata wine at sunset. Rooms were very clean and elegant. There is a kitchen area within the apt to eat your own food( no stove but fridge). In the middle of naramata bench and close to KVR trail.

Marco (10/5): Little Gem with a Personal Touch - We booked the Berlin Suite for a group of 5 (2 couples, 1 single) to be close to the wineries. In fact, the B&B is located in the midst of many vineyards such that the first tasting was only 5 minutes away. The city center and beach is only a short ride away (5-10 min by car). If you cannot make it to the beach you can just jump into the pool which was actually bigger than expected. The balcony provides an excellent view of the lake - to relax in the evenings or to just watch the sunset. The rooms were spacious and very clean and in general very comfortable. Everything that you would look for. The best features are definitely the hosts and their breakfast. Kerstin and Oliver are very friendly and make sure that you everything is to your needs. They will always take the time to have a solid conversation with you which will give your stay a personal feel. The breakfast was a typical German breakfast with freshly made bread and spread, lovely garnished fruit plates, and daily varying German specialties (e.g. Weisswurst, cold cuts, etc.). I just could not get enough of it. In short: I will highly recommend this B&B to any of my friend who is looking to stay in the Penticton area.
