• Angela (10/5): - I was only there for a few hours to rest and freshen up before an international flight, but the property is very conveniently located to CMB and met all my needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I saw that they have a pool!

• Jonathan (10/5): We would definitely go again! - The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We weren’t able to get the airport shuttle, but just did an uber for about $6 USD. The next day we took their Tuk Tuk back to airport, and that was really fun for under $2 USD. It was absolutely worth it to get out of the airport for that night, and have a bed and a warm shower before our next flight. The bottle waters were greatly appreciated. For the low price, it exceeded our expectations. The best part was the friendly thoughtful employees.

• Joe (4/5): - It was peaceful and quiet. The owner and son were very polite and friendly. But there were no stuff in this hotel room. (No coffee, tea, sugar, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.,) There were 2 cockroaches and perhaps more we didn’t find :( Food was okay but it wasn’t free. At least 1 way airport shuttle could’ve been provided but I had to pay for both. The rooms smelled dusty. Broadband was horribly slow.

I like this hotel is in a back quiet neighborhood & not a noisy main street. Nivanjan was very helpful coordinating rides for me. Nishantha was a great driver & so heloful. The accommodated my dog. We will stay here again.
• paul (4/5): - Asked for airport pick up , but nobody came. Arranged a ride to hotel & when i got there they couldn't find my booking. Turns out the owner is still in Abu Dhabi, anyway everything got sorted(in all the confusion the driver from the airport left with my bags and came back an hour later) .
• Bruce (6/5): Very Convenient from Colombo Airport - The rooms are very basic but the staff is friendly. Sheets and towels were clean, but the rooms need some upkeep and maintenance. Food in the restaurant is good and the hotel is very close to the Airport. Not much close by to see or do, but certainly convenient if you have an early morning flight out of Colombo Airport. The do have transportation to/from the airport for a fee. Wifi is available but not very fast.
• Donna_Duckworth (4/5): Basic - We stayed here for one night due to it's close proximity to the airport. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the surrounding area is very pretty. The 2 bed room had a good layout and was very quiet, It's very basic, but we knew that. It served the purpose we needed it for. Food was terrible and there isn't much else around - bring a packed lunch/meal ;)
• Sharla (6/5): - We rented a room for the night but our flight left at 3:00 am so we only spent a few hours. It was priced right for that purpose and the apartment-like room was great for the 4 of us to get ready for our long flight home and rest up a bit. The shuttle to the airport was on time even at 12:30 am. We never saw the pool as we arrived after dark.
• Mehmet (6/5): - Far from everything. Outside is horrible. Room is ok. Staff is friendly. They could not find my reservation. I did it by Expedia a week earlier. After showing the reservation documents, they have sent a message to the boss. I asked “Where is the boss?”. The guy replied “ in Dubai”. You do not wish to listen the rest of my story.
• Giulia (4/5): 10 minutes drive from the airport - Stay here only if you really need to. No bathroom facilities, no towels, no bedsheets. They have a pool though.
• V5173VRdaniels (6/5): Perfect location, decent hotel - The hotel is perfectly located close the the airport, which was the single reason for us choosing it. The food is good enough and the room is decent, but the reception is not manned during night. The pool is very worn, but fills it's purpose the day before a flight. If you are just waiting to fly out the morning after, this is a perfect place, considering the cost. If you are going to spend vacation, I would look further away from the airport.
• AukustiT (4/5): Polite front desk - We stayed one night after long flight with my partner. Man from front desk was waiting us at airport and took us to hotel. We paid 6€ for ride to hotel. It was really worth it! Hotel by it self wasn’t so nice, it was a bit old and pictures of hotel in trip advisor are out of date. They prepared us nice but overpriced breakfast. Staff told us that we need to go to Colombo if we wanted to take bus to Kandy, and said there is no bus leaving near airport. Which wasn’t true. I’m not sure if they just wanted to take our money, because they offered ride to Colombo with 5000. Felt a bit stupid and cheated afterwards.
• 546riinap (6/5): Nothing fancy but helpful reception boy - Place is a bit off from the big road but that is a good if you want a peaceful place to rest. The reception man was really helpful and willing to Share information. Our room was clean but there were no blanket on the bed so We used towels, heh. Breakfast is simple If you want to buy it in the morning but generous fruit plate. The pool looked good enough.

• 384andrewa (6/5): Friendly little place with a nice breakfast - Ok so this place is all about proximity to airport. It's no shining light of the hotel world. But to be fair it's clean, quiet and the staff are friendly. There's a nice pool and the breakfast was really very enjoyable sitting under a tree in the shade. In view of the price and location, I'd say this is a good one. But yes modernisation needed as it's a bit dated.
• chalozpepdais (2/5): 1 🌟 only cos of proximity to airport - Other than that the hotel is so badly run down it's ridiculous. And they have a swimming pool... why? Good breakfast but eat fast cos the flies come in with a frenzy to take over. Our airport shuttle was paid when booked the night before but morning crew were not clued in nor checked this was already done. Had to argue our case and flip thru their bill book to find our booking and payment. Nope won't go there again.

• drewgu (6/5): Dated. Helpful staff. - This facility is pleasant, quiet and off the beaten path. The accommodations are somewhat dated and appear to be aging. The lovely in-room breakfast is well worth the stay. Very polite and considerate service. Hotel staff were helpful and kind. Also knowledgeable of the area. Will stay there again on my way back through Colombo.

• dharmapitt (6/5): Needing a facelift! - This hotel is an idea location for the airport - especially as currently it is only open overnight as it is being renovated. The hotel is approximately an 8 minute drive away.It does indeed have a green view and is about 500 meters off the main Airport road overlooking paddy fields.It is delightfully old fashioned and we were registered in a hand written ledger.The Manager then beamed and told us we were being upgraded to a suite - which turned out to be 2 bedrooms lounge and tacky kitchen. The place is really in need of a facelift and everything is run down and has seen better days. Our kitchen was iinfested with cockroaches and the equipment really not very clean. Great location - old fashioned (despite the neon sign on the main road advertising luxury rooms) but needs a sprucing up! The restaurant was overpriced and offered nothing for vegetarians.

• rwreniii (6/5): Out of the way hotel - There is NOTHING around this hotel, and the hotel's restaurant knows this and priced accordingly. The location provides a peaceful and quiet sleep as long as the other guests aren't watching TV (read: thin walls). Local life around the hotel so it is nice for a stroll. The main road is a 15 min walk. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was below expectations. Ants in the bed, beetles, lizards, and flying things. The manager changed our sheets and swept up the place for us. The bathroom was ok with hot water. The pool was a mirky white so we didn't bother with it. They have lawn chairs and tables/chairs around it, which didn't appear to get much attention or love. The wifi is ok to poor. I would stay on the strip at Negombo beach next time as there are more options for food and fun.
• tikiskis (8/5): Humble & welcoming - We arranged with the hotel to be picked up when our flight arrived and sure enough, our driver was ready for us. He brought us about a 15 minute ride to the hotel from the airport. The Proprietor was very sweet and kind though limited in English. He delivered us fresh fruit juice as we checked in. He also gave Wi-Fi information that only worked on one router which was extremely slow. The router he did not provide worked with the password he gave and was quite fast so I used that. Our room was very clean and quite large. It had two rooms! One room had a king bed and the other room had a queen bed. There was also a little dining room with the table and small couch. The kitchen was basically nonfunctional with a broken refrigerator. We had a small balcony out the back door which overlooked the pool and gentle grassy lawn. The team had turned on the air conditioning prior to our arrival to make it cool for us which was welcome. The prices cannot be beat. It was around US$50. It's not A four or five star hotel, but it has very comfortable beds, comfortable pillows, good temperature control, and is safe. That's all we needed. There was a fee of Rs.1200 on top of the room fee which was a little surprising since the website said it offered airport transportation. Reasonable to be sure, but outside expectations. Be sure to change money at the airport before being picked up. Breakfast cost a few thousand rupees and was simple, but was still very tasty and the fresh fruit could not be beat. In all, our family including a six-year-old child thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and wished we had a little more time to explore. I would not hesitate to go back to Green View hotel!
• Prakash_Jay (8/5): Brief Stay! - I roamed around Colombo and just on the way to airport i checked to this hotel for a brief stay to refresh before going to the airport. Property is good. Check was faster. It's really close to Airport. Those who are on a brief stay can take up this hotel to start their day and end while leaving back to Airport in Colombo. Rooms are not too big or too small, and wash rooms were clean. Staff was courteous.
• Hobartian95 (6/5): Friendly staff - After a long day of travel from Singapore, we were relieved to find a hotel so close to the airport that we could book at the last minute. The man working on reception is one of the friendliest members of hotel staff we have come across. Despite being close to the airport the hotel felt secluded and as if it was a real introduction to Sri Lanka for us on our first visit to the country. The room was basic and did not have any bottled water (which we didn't bring from our flight), however the room was all we needed and the helpfulness of staff made this very brief visit a pleasant one.
• David (8/5): Needed a hotel close to the airport - We had a long layover in Colombo and needed a room to sleep for 7 hours. This place was perfect and they even have a 24 hour airport shuttle. My objective was met and we were dropped at the airport on time.
• 659syeds (6/5): Salim - Landed in Badaranaike international airport had a short stay had a connecting flight. Nice place very nice people friendly. Neat room we were able to rest for sometime. Had a nice shower and headed back to the airport.
• 411thilinam (4/5): Good for 1 night only - We booked an apartment for 3 nights. Luckily we got 2 bed room apartment which was good for family as well. Room is clean but room service is dreadful. Infact there was no room service. For the 3 nights no one came to collect rubbish and no one change sheets and towels. Luckily we were able to use other room towels. A/C is working fine but we had a problem with leaking water from it, which they temporarily fixed. On weekends pool side is full of locals and noicy too. Theres no proper restaurant near by, so if you dont have your own vehicle you are in trouble. Because, hotel restaurant is very expensive compare food prices in other places. Whole 3 days we avoided hotel restaurant. But we found a nice one 3kms away from hotel. If you taking a tuk tuk to anywhere from hotel, make sure you agree on fare, b4 you go. Overall, i think this place is good for 1 night out...
• MarinadeZ (6/5): Close to airport, but a distance from everything else - We stayed here one night as we had a morning flight. The hotel is right off the beaten track so you cannot get anywhere to get a meal. We had to have a meal there and while it was tasty, it took more than 1 hr to arrive. Even the fruit juices took forever to arrive! They do not have beer in stock. Rooms while clean, have an awful lot of mosquitos and the air conditioner was noisy. We had 1 x 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom apartment. There were kitchens in the apartments, but no crockery, cutlery or coffee making facilities. The bathroom, like a lot of places in Sri Lanka was really badly laid out - the shower was right near the door, so everything in bathrooms gets wet when the shower is turned on!! No bathmats, and no top sheet to cover with to avoid mosquitos biting you! Breakfast is extra if you need it. While it served the purpose, I do not think I would use this place again, as it is far too far. Staff are polite and friendly.
• Bruce (8/5): Great choice for close to the airport. - This hotel represented great value. We just wanted a hotel close to the airport that was clean since we had a quick turnaround on a flight back out of CMB. The tropical foliage is beautiful surrounding the resort and a very nice walk along the roadway in both directions resulted in frequent interactions with very friendly and quick to smile Sri Lankans. The food at the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately, our scheduled pick-up at the airport did not happen, but was easy to get a taxi to the hotel and they were very kind about arranging the return transport to the airport. Not anything fancy, but clean and not sure what else you would expect at this price. Pool is also very nice and relaxing.
• dionnep488 (4/5): Handy to airport - We stayed here to be close to the airport for a morning flight. It served its purpose but we were thankful it was just for one night. First we had to ask for towels - initially they gave us 1 for four people, we had to also ask for sheets to sleep under. The front bedroom was extremely noisy with guests coming and going and the front gate sliding on its rollers each time. The hotel is quite far from any shop or restaurant so we needed to eat in - the food was good but not cheap once service charge was added as well. In fact the water was the most expensive bottle we'd had in our whole stay in Sri Lanka. None was provided in the room. The charge for the drive to the airport (3km) was 1000 rupees or 400 by tuktuk. We accepted the tuktuk option but when we got to the airport the driver insisted the price was 600! We paid it as it seemed to not be his fault but rather the hotel owner. It wasn't the best end to our otherwise pleasant Sri Lanka trip. The swimming pool was nice and kept the kids happy for the afternoon.
• benr0se (4/5): Wouldn't stay here again - Room was alright, had a bit of a pong to it, wifi didn't work in the room which was quite annoying as the room was quite expensive and I booked it needed to use the wifi, told the staff and they said they would fix it yet did nothing to resolve it. I wouldn't stay here again.
• jessicau669 (4/5): Clean but staff rip you of - Stayed here one night here after arriving in Colombo at 1am. Room was clean and tidy. Night staff lovely. Woke up on the morning and the women in charge ripped us off on everything - taxi, breakfast bill, exchange rate and increased room rate by adding a made up tax to the bill. Breakfast bill was $35 nz which should have been $12 nz. We knew what was happening but couldnt argue our way put of it. All other staff were kind but she was managaing the place. Disappointing first experience in Sri Lanka
• Harun (4/5): Only stopover for a sleeping... - This accommodation is fairly bad for a family. But quite well, if you arrive at airport after midnight and decided to leave earlier to another destination. That's all. Room is too basic, old furnitures, unclean environment. The best thing about this place were the driver and the closure to the airport. Once I made reservation, the hotel offered an airport pickup for 10USD and took around 10minutes from airport only. However, in reservation pater 10USD was for roundtrip to airport but hotel requested me for pickup and then again for taking us to airport back. I noted this them. No longer insisted at 5am in the morning for an amount of 10USD. Shortly, I would recommend to find a better stopover for the price.
• Verified traveler (2/5): OK hotel for one night layover - The hotel is very close to the airport. However, except for that, nothing is good. First of all, the staff forgot to pick me up at the airport although I told them when my flight landed. They thought my flight was early but actually it's late. Secondly, the room was big but shabby. Very simple, and not clean. You can see small ants on the bed. The TV is not working, nor is the phone. And the wifi password the staff gave me was wrong and they didn't know what to do about it. No bed linen. And the AC was just above the head part of the bed. So it's cold, loud and bright during the evening and I couldn't sleep. Water is cold so no hot shower. They do have a pool but I didn't see anyone using it. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again. But the price was very low. So I guess you have nothing else to ask.
