Elevator seemed newer and was always working. Room was more spacious than we were expecting for Paris. Our bathroom was huge though wondering if we had an accessible room as the shower was zero entry. It was spacious with great water pressure and heat. Water did splash out quite a bit. Loved opening the windows to let in fresh air and enjoy the charming street. Great property and value. Definitely exceeded expectations.
Prudence (6/5): - The photos on Expedia are misleading. This hotel is advertised as a 4-star boutique, but in reality, it feels like a worn-out 3-star motel at best. I stayed 4 nights and paid nearly $350 per night, a complete rip-off. My room on the top floor had a Parisian balcony, but that was the only charm. The rest was terrible: dusty walls, fingerprints everywhere, cheap and old furnishings. The separate toilet was a joke — so tiny you couldn’t even close the door, and the bathroom door itself was literally ripping apart. On top of that, the AC barely worked, making the stay uncomfortable. For the price and rating, this was a huge disappointment. Overpriced, badly maintained, and nowhere near the standard promised

Paul (10/5): - Room was larger than expected. Bed was very comfortable. Super quiet room due to facing an interior courtyard and the windows do a great job of blocking out city noise. The hotel breakfast is self-serve, honor system. But pretty expensive. We found plenty of really close bakeries to walk to and enjoyed freshly baked pastries and eggs there. We definitely would stay here again.

Jayesha (6/5): - This hotel is not a 4 star by any stretch it's barely a 3 in my opinion, the rooms are tired paint peeling off the walls, scuff marks everywhere very dark and moody decor felt very out of date and not high end at all. The lobby felt more like a youth hostel than 4 star hotel. The staff were helpful and offered us early check in which was appreciated but overall I was very underwhelmed by this hotel as it just didn't live up to expectations. The rooms were generally clean but the fixtures and fittings were cheap and the beds were uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel as a more higher end hotel.

Ronenia (10/5): - This was one of my best hotels in a European country. The bed and pillows were so comfy. Love the comforter. The hotel is located walking distance from shops, bars and stores. Great location. I felt safe. The breakfast was really good. Also, this hotel has one of the best showers ever. It was like you were standing under a rain fall. Serve was immaculate and the tall young lady who works at the desk was beyond thoughtful and helpful. Anything I needed she had no problem assisting me. I recommend this hotel 10 x over and if I come back to Paris this is the place to stay.

Michele (10/5): - A lot of cafes around and two grocery stores. Very comfortable beds and the maid every day made the room very comfortable for our return. The room had a small fridge so we could keep yogourt, cream for our espresso coffee and wine. It was a nice place to return to after a day of touring, have a glass of wine and decide where to go for dinner in the area.

For the cost of the room, we also felt we got great value for a Paris hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, a good size and it had a great bathroom.
Julia (10/5): - It was a very comfortable great stay, especially for the price. The gym was perfectly adequate. The day time staff was very helpful and even made dinner reservations for us. It is a little bit far from the main attractions, but close to the opera and galleries Lafayette. There is also a very nice park a block away.
Christine (8/5): - Great location. Clean and well presented. Breakfast area was very small - sometimes too busy to find a seat - with food options running out very quickly, and a moderate wait for items to be replenished, as tables needed clearing and resetting at the same time. A bit chaotic and not ideal. Our room was on the ground floor, even though I requested a higher floor, which was given as an option on the form I was sent prior to check in (n sure what the point of that was?). The room decor was fine but it was dark even in the middle of the day, so always needed electric lights to be on. It was also directly on the road, which was not what we expected from the 'deluxe room' option we selected. It was, however, very quiet so we had no trouble sleeping. The room had no bath - again, I'm not sure I'd quntify just a shower as a deluxe option, but the shower itself, and bathroom overall, was excellent. The bed was comfortable and large. When we asked about changing to a brighter room, on a higher floor, the receptionist said the all the rooms on the higher floors were smaller, so we had the biggest space. We obviously couldn't check that as they were fully booked during our stay.

Maryam (10/5): - very clean and walkable to shopping anf few minutes walk to saint lazar train station.
Vasile (10/5): - Very clean, nice and friendly staff they allowed us to check in early. The only negative was the breakfast that was very sparse and disappointing for a 4 star European hotel. The choices were limited and the staff was bringing the food a few items at a time. Never a full buffet. Never seen that before. Otherwise a great experience. We are coming back.
Mira (10/5): - Love our stay in Paris at hotel Monseur and Spa. We booked family room for 3 of us. The room and bathroom is pretty big consider hotel in Paris. We have an additional bathroom that big plus especially for our teenage son. The location is 8 minutes walking to Galaries Lafayette or Printemp. It situated not too crowded area in opera district.
Connor (4/5): - Breakfast was not worth the money due to the very poor selection of foods. Additionally, breakfast was late being set up which caused my family to be sat around waiting.
Alexa (10/5): - Great value for the money. It’s nothing fancy, but I’ve stayed in many hotels in Paris and so many of them are run down and dingy. This one is simple, clean and the rooms are lovely and quaint.

Sue (8/5): - The hotel was lovely. One of the best I’ve stayed in when in Paris. Everyone was helpful, informative, and polite. Our only ‘problem’ was a clogged tub. I’m sure they fixed it immediately. I will stay there again.

The shower was so roomy & worked fabulously, although some water escaped & we had to put our used towels down to soak up the residue. The Hotel was boutique in design, all staff were so helpful & friendly. It’s location is so central & only a short drive from Eurostar.

Plenty of interesting restaurants nearby. Great wine store and grocery store within a block. Best hotel we have stayed in while in Paris.

Craig (10/5): Great hotel - We loved our stay at this hotel with nice, clean rooms, polite and efficient front desk, and very nice le petite dejeuner served in a pleasant breakfast room with attentive, friendly staff. We will seriously consider this hotel again when we return.
Gonzalo (4/5): - The description did not match reality. This is not a VIP hotel. The lobby is terrible, rooms are very basic, albeit clean.

TAMER SAMEH METWALLY (4/5): - I was not happy they didn’t allow Me for early check in until almost 1:30-3:00 pm and without upgrade and the room was at the last floor with low ceiling like pyramids not the category or nothing as photos even refrigerator didn’t work and was not plugged in also at night tried to turn on TV but not working at all called reception he came and couldn’t fixed anything the room was not too clean and housekeeping seems doing lousy job even I asked for early wake up call 7:30 and no one waked me up !!! Only thing nice was the location nothing else even I booked a Hamam and 5 minutes before my time they said sorry it needs to be like 1 hour later very strange so overall I am not happy at all

Paris is a vast city & there can't be one convenient location but this hotel never felt far from anywhere a visitor would plan to go. Public transport, cafes, shopping is located within few mins walk. I am happy to recommend Monsieur hotel & spa to anyone visiting Paris for a short stay.
Matthew (10/5): - I never do reviews, first off. Hotel was great. We had top floor room 603. Very clean and spacious with pull out couch and two bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was €18 per person but worth it for wide variety of food...great for our picky 14 year old. It is a great area, near metro and RER stations with access all over the city.
Paul (10/5): Great stay minutes from popular spots - We were staying at a different place but decided to switch to this hotel as it was much closer to the shops and sightseeing. The room was perfect and well appointed. The staff was always so friendly and helpful with any questions or requests. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
Collette (10/5): - Fabulous shower! It's hard to find a good shower with great water pressure while traveling in Europe (no thanks on the funky half glass that gets water everywhere and dismal shower pressure). I quite literally picked this hotel solely based on the fact that other reviews had mentioned the shower being excellent! I also liked that there wasn't excessive furniture in the room and the floors didn't have carpet (ew, I hate carpet).
