Ultimately, ended up in an apartment which was very comfortable, a/c (great as it faced west); included washing machine which was very handy. Pleasant authentic surrounds, a short drive to Smartno Old Town for dining options (Dvor Apartments does have a terrace breakfast option and afternoon drinks bar). We didn't use the pool but it was well-situated. Very quiet. Unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Would thoroughly recommend.
Jan (9/5): exceptionally great! one of the best spots we have ever been! - beautiful surroundings and idyllic building. Very luxurious and spacious apartment. the drinks and breakfast they provide are reasonably priced. the personnel is very friendly and welcoming. They organize your room everyday when you stay more days. Really holiday in one of the most beautiful spots in Slovenia! the own balcony is small and the kitchen quite dark. You can not eat or drink your own food and drinks at the shared balcony with a nice view. this is a pity. the accommodation is meant for couples. the restaurants in the neighbourhood are great so nobody will bother. but for families with kids (like us) you don’t want to go out all day.

Elizabeth (10/5): - We had a wonderful 2 night stay in their 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. It was crisp and clean. The AC worked great during the 80-90 degree heat. Plenty of privacy and the views are stunning. The owners were wonderful to talk to and helped us with dinner reservations for both nights. Breakfast was wonderful and fresh.
