- Holly (10/5): feels like home - being able to drive right to the door
friendly fast service when checking in the remote for the tv was a bit hard to manover
- Catherine (10/5): - Clean, quiet, easy access
- Holly (10/5): Felt so refreshed after good nights sleep - Very nice and quiet
Beds so comfortable
Love to drive up to the door lots parking space
- Holly (10/5): We spent first time ever over night on Saturday re booked on our travels back Tuesday night - Because l was traveling with elderly mother 86 loved that we could drive right up to the door not have to climb stairs carting our luggage
Very quiet area of town no traffic passing steady on street The TV remote was not working well for me may have needed new batteries
- Doug (10/5): AMAZING !!! Great location and owner !! - Great location to downtown North Bay, amazing owner very accommodating, easy going with necessities for charging my B.A.S.S. boat !!! Too many mosquitoes but nothing the management can do LOL
- David (6/5): Decent stay price a bit high for the quality of the inn. - Location good and very quiet. Mattress was not great, things looking a bit aged.
- Debbie (7/5): - Toilet seat was cracked half way. Room was really cold when we got there but we turned the heat up. Beds were quite comfortable.
- Lindsey (8/5): - It was very clean and comfortable! Staff was great....n
- Tanya (8/5): Comfy bed. Convenient location - Very comfortable bed.
- Joy (7/5): -
- Pellerin (6/5): - Le plancher en tapis la salle de bain pas très propre du bruit au plafond durant la nuit
- Dennis (8/5): -
- Richard (5/5): It was okay but I'm not sure I'd book a room there again. - It was acceptable, but for what I paid for the two nights accommodations I expected more. The internet connection was first rate. Having worked in the hospitality industry growing up I noticed things that the average person might overlook. While the room was reasonably clean, when you looked in the nooks and crannies it was obvious that they hadn't been addressed in some time. The room was small and there was only one chair in the room. Had an associate come with me on this trip as originally planned, one of us would have had to sit on the beds to watch television or converse. I drove past the inn three times because it was dark and the inn's sign out front wasn't lit.
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Ellen (8/5): - Only a couple klm. Out of town
- Linda (10/5): - Large clean rooms. Courteous staff. Excellent price point
- Joel (6/5): - Was highly rated, so I stayed here. It’s a small, old building. The water temperature was always changing. Beds were ok. Had to ring a buzzer to get into the office to check in.
- Lisa (9/5): The rooms were clean and comfortable and the couple that run the motel were very friendly and helpful. A lovely stay ov - It was away from the main highway so it was nice and quiet Nothing about it we didn’t like
- Dane (9/5): -
- Horse Lisa (10/5): - rooms always clean
- RONALD (6/5): - Do not use the WiFi at this place! They are using a sketchy captive portal and the network blocks you from connecting to a VPN so it's safe to assume they are sniffing guest internet traffic.
- Robert (8/5): -
- LORRIE (10/5): Friendly and clean. Would recommend. - Beds were comfortable. The place was clean and well looked after.
- Darlene (6/5): - Overall it was very good, but the bed was too hard and because of the light outside there were a lot of bugs in the room when the door was open
- Judy Mackewn (10/5): - The room was a fair size.
Very clean. The owners are very friendly. Will stay there again.
- Scott (1/5): Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. - Great location. Bed bugs, couldn’t believe what had seen. We checked in to the hotel, had a nice conversation with the gentleman who checked us in about area restaurants. Proceeded to go to dinner, upon returning my wife and I were just chilling in one of the queen beds and I could feel my body start to itch and noticed 2 bites on my arm. I got my flashlight out and found 2 bed bugs crawling around on the top of the bedspread.
- Krista (8/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Marilyn (7/5): - We liked the location.
- gord (10/5): - Very clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
- Nadine (6/5): Customer service person was grumpy when I asked if I could see the room .. - Not much It was dated and not close to Hwy
- Patry (9/5): -
- Jim (8/5): -
- Bartley (10/5): - The place is clean and no issues
- 797jessyr (2/5): TRASH MOTEL! Bugs, humidity and stain - TRASH MOTEL!! DO NOT go there unless you like bugs, the smell of humidity and don't care for cleanliness. TV had no chanels, sink was clogged and walls and blinds were very dirty/stained. We booked unkowingly based off the good reviews but clearly they are fake accounts. We even had to argue with the owners at the beginning as they did not want to honor the online reservation price. It's a 50$ /night motel at best, but don't risk your health and book somewhere else.
- monique (4/5): - Comfortable bed.
Towels were clean but very cheap kind
And the room smelled so musty.
- Aaron (8/5): -
- victoria (8/5): Nipissing inn - Nipissing inn was clean, the beds were comfy, it was close to a few nice beaches. We didn’t get to the hotel on our first night till almost 12am and the gentleman working was friendly and made checking in quick and easy.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent, friendly, professional service.
Really clean, quiet room, freshly decorated too.
- Susan (10/5): - I stay at the Nipissing Inn anytime I have to stay overnight. I can trust that the room and the bed are immaculately clean, which means peace of mind for me. In addition, I like the location - it's on the outskirts of town, it's quiet and safe there.
- Brent (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay in my newly renovated room. It was super clean with a nice kitchenette. Also a peaceful area to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. Close to the lake and casino and lots of choices for dinning. The owner was very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommend the Nipissing Inn for your next stay in North Bay!!
- barry (8/5): - there was nothing unique about this property. It was clean inside and outside which I would expect. When I had trouble with the tv, management came instantly to solve the problem.
- André (8/5): - The family room was what we needed for 1 night. It was clean and quiet but we arrived late and it was very dark as no outside lights were on. We had to use a flashlight from the truck to see our room number. It was uncomfortable.
- Andre (8/5): - Beautiful motel, great quiet area
- Slav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aline (8/5): It was only an overnight stay to breakup the driving of a two day trip. I would stay again. - Extremely clean room & bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. No unpleasant smells that you find sometimes in hotels. I would stay here again. I would prefer the cleanliness to a free breakfast any day. There were restaurants within driving distance. The owners were welcoming and friendly. Close to Hwy 11 for a quick exit in a long driving trip, yet close enough to North Bay and the beach to use again for a longer stay. Not a thing.
- Julie (10/5): - Nipissing Inn is always our go to hotel when we drive through North Bay. Staff is extremely friendly. Rooms are always clean and beds are very comfy. Highly recommended!
- Derrick (7/5): Pretty much what i expected, other than the genuine concern and politeness of the manager. - The owner / manager was extremely friendly and polite. He advised me to park in a secure spot to reduce chances of anyone looking at my trailer and bikes.
- CLAIRE (6/5): - Very basic. No extras. A blanket would have been appreciated.
- Lydia (6/5): - Better soap and shampoo and conditioner. The paint colours were very dated
- Nathan (7/5): Good - Friendly staff, and a clean room and bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable, overall happy with my stay. A little outdated but thats not the end of the world. Room did have a bit of a musty smell but I've experienced worse, nothing some more airflow can't fix.
- Kerry (10/5): - Very quiet, spacious room.
- Geordan (8/5): Convenient well maintained fair priced - Good price
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- R (8/5): Very good -
- Debbie (4/5): - The beds and pillows need replacing, the bathroom was not totally clean, lime green walls keep you awake at night lol. Not worth $200 a night for two people.
- Michelle (8/5): - Clean and quiet
- John (8/5): Very good -
- monique64morin (2/5): Old, stinky and not clean - Chairs were stained with what looked like grease, room was not cleaned thoroughly and it is in a terrible location, right on a busy road. Bed was decently comfortable, found bugs in bathroom🤢. One small bar of soap and one bottle of shampoo, not even enough for two people.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Amy Borgman (10/5): - One minute off the main road, so it was quiet and convenient. Very friendly reception by host. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great shower, too.
- Sukhpreet (10/5): - Great
- Pamela (10/5): - Property was recently refurbished so rooms were great.
- Cody (9/5): Superb -
- Laurentiu (9/5): Superb -
- Ganna (9/5): It was pleasure to stay in such good place☺️ - Very hospitable stuff, I really enjoyed 🤗 the room was clean and well equipped with all necessary items such as microwave, hairdryer, fridge and etc☺️Also, I liked location of this motel, it was very easy to find it. None
- Shayne (8/5): Good. - Owners are kind and attentive.
- Marvin (10/5): - Nice clean and spacious room
- Ron (8/5): - Clean and quiet
- Nancy (9/5): Superb - Was greeted with a friendly smile
- Laura (10/5): Lovely place to spend the night! - Had a wonderful stay at the Nipissing Inn. Our room looked freshly updated and was spotless. The bed was super comfortable. Both the rooms on either side of ours were occupied but we never heard a sound. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit North Bay.
- Renald (8/5): - rooms where clean and beds were ok a bit of a closed in smell but once you let air in perfect
- Maggie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robin (7/5): Worth the money for 3ppl for 1 night. - Very clean, nice that the floors were laminate and not awful carpet. Early check in available. Larger bath towels. The room had all 5000k stark white lightbulbs, those don’t make a relaxing atmosphere.
- Nicholas (8/5): - clean
- Marielle (6/5): Pleasant place for overnite stop - Easy access and clean, quiet area Dated
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guinchard (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - We have stayed here a few times and this Inn never disappoints! The owners are so friendly & accommodating - they greeted us warmly even though we arrived late. The room was spotless clean. Everything works perfectly. The beds were comfy & linens so nice & fresh. Even thr location is good - it's in a quiet area and there are food options just down the road. Easy access to the highway for our road trip! Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): - Very clean. The owners are very accommodating. The only negatives would be the fact that all three pillows were way too high for me, and I could feel the dampness in the room.
- Vanessa (4/5): North Bay has been my second home for the past 20 years and I won't be staying with them again. - the room was clean, workers have hospitality TBH I had some issues with the way things were handled when they called me getting upset about me "lying" about having more than 1 person check in. The reservation stated 1 adult 1 child. Some personal issues happened the evening I checked in & had one more child stay with me. A lot had happened that day and my child who was already staying in North Bay had to come with me last min. He went to the hotel to ask them to open my room to wait, mind you there were tons of mosquitos out & he was hoping they would open the door & I get policies etc but the way it was handled over the phone, the woman raised her voice with me about lying about the amount of people staying etc and I explained that things came up and I didn't have ample time to notify (this was nearly 10pm) & I would when back to the hotel, but I wanted to check out because from there, I felt unwelcomed but they managed to accommodate my stay by offering a bigger room with 2 beds instead of one. I was happy with that but after that I felt the male would keep an eye out for me if I pulled up in a unknown vehicle to get dropped off for the rest of my stay. That made me feel uncomfortable. I also had issues with tiny light brown ants that I let the male worker know and he told me to wash them down the drain (the ants were in a plastic cup) & the morning of check out, I went to the front to give them the key and to get my deposit (cash) & as I got to the front he seemed a little annoyed & I said I was here to drop the key off & I didn't really understand his accent at first but then he rose his voice & said I will give you the money in the room after we inspect, right there I felt disrespected for no reason, but we walked to the room & he inspected it & then proceeded to hand the money over in a way which he didn't want to. I felt they handled my two night stay very unprofessional ethically.
- Derek (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (10/5): Great owners!! - Clean property nice rooms very quiet Nothing
- SusanH385 (10/5): IMPECCABLE - customer service, clean rooms, quiet surroundings - I can't tell you how pleased I was to find Nipissing Inn. I have had numerous bad experiences with very dirty motel and hotel rooms and facilities, but this owner ensures that his motel building, and rooms, are impeccable - so pristine clean, such quality furniture, and comfortable beds. The heating and air conditioning unit keep the room at a very comfortable temperature. And the rates are not only affordable but you get much more than you pay for. The owner is always accessible and accommodating to any request. Customer service is as impeccable as the room itself. It is a little out of the way at the end of Lakeshore Drive in North Bay, but believe me - you are on the outskirts of the city, basically in the country, listening to the frogs croaking and the birds singing, there is very little traffic and the quiet atmosphere is well worth the drive. You are only a few minutes away from gas stations, restaurants and shopping. He only allows the best of clientele, so you feel safe and secure. This is as needful as a comfortable mattress and a clean environment when it comes to having a peaceful sleep. Whatever you're looking for, I'm sure you will be satisfied with your stay at Nipissing Inn. (Susan H.)
- Denise (9/5): Homey, quiet, comfortable, and, in my opinion, the apartment-style suite suited our needs PERFECTLY! - The location was great - right off the highway as you enter into North Bay, and our Apartment-style suite was in the back away from the roadway (there was an option for a similar suite in the front beside the office, but I needed the quieter unit).
The Inn was very quiet and served us well for I was travelling alone with my 20y/o Autistic son and it was his first vacation :) The fact there was a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, complete stove/oven/hood vent, sink and cupboards with dishes/cutlery, etc., a pull-out 3-seater couch, a kitchen table and chairs, and a good sized TV (with HDMI input - thank goodness!) made it feel very homelike which made my son very comfortable and he enjoyed his stay - especially having the ac in the bedroom and he could adjust the temperature to his liking (he likes sleeping in the ccccccold). There was also an oscillating fan provided in the main room which was great for overall air circulation. On Mother's Day, we spent 5+ hours visiting small public-access beaches along Lakeshore Dr. and eventually ended up at the Marina and Shabogesic Park and did lots of 'beachcombing' for driftwood, rocks, saw ducks and geese, and he found a lost earring which he thought was TREASURE - it was an awesome trip! The fan in the toilet/tub part of the washroom was EXCESSIVELY loud - the one in the unit adjacent must be in the same shape because it could be heard in our unit when it was turned on. My son had the bedroom, exclusively, and I slept on the pull-out bed chesterfield .... which there were no linens for ... so I stripped the 2nd bed in the bedroom and used that bedding - was inconvenient but I found a solution without involving the Management :) I'm sure if I had let them know about the sleeping arrangements, they would have provided bedding, so that's probably on me :(
- Gilbert (8/5): - excellent
- Rodion (10/5): Great motel close to highway - The motel is very close to the main highway making it a perfect option for overnight stay. We had a room with 2 queen beds which comfortably fit 3 people. The room had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Highly recommend this place if you're planning a stop around this area. n/a

- Tori (7/5): Very nice stay for one night. Very clean - Quiet and off the beaten track A little dated, slight musty smell
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roland (10/5): - No breakfast served and no snack machine available

The staff was very nice and friendly.
