• Amanda (7/5): - Had all the basics we needed. The breakfast wasn’t great. I took a picture of the bowl of oranges they had out. They were literally hard and petrified with black spots. I don’t understand how someone could see that and think it’s edible and ok to serve guests. Also one of the male front desk staff members wasn’t overly friendly or welcoming. Seemed more bothered than anything.

Only getting up when you ring the bell even after looking in my direction. Happened twice. Soap dispenser in the shower was out of body wash. Real inconvenient when you are already in the shower. Coffee machine for the breakfast was broken the first day and I had to ask for plates.

• Lars Gunnar Brutus (7/5): A good hotel, and could be even better with small investments - Rooms are good, but you should have micro and refrigator in all rooms - I had one but not at least 3 or 4 of my 7 friends who came with me. The breakfast is OK, simple compared to Europe but it's OK or good when you compare to the usual standard in North America. It is easy to live at the hotel, and there is lot of parking space (we had three large pick ups). The personal is very nice and helpful in general. Gold star to many of the personal. It seems the owners might be a little bit too economical, don't repair juice or coffe machines nor provides juice in another way or provide coffe in another way iof the machine breaks down. The personal tried to help the guests though but maybe the management had been too thrifty. A hotel should have one or two extra machines; as I am in the branch of tourism I know we have to always provide an alternative. Of course it means a small extra investment, but it's a small amount you invest to be able to always serve the guests - which is A and O in this business. The hotel could also invest in refrigators and micros in all rooms, as this is a hotel on the country side and many of the guests go out early and stay for a while it is very helpful to be able to store a few things in the refrigator. Small investment. I am going back with 7-8 friends next year, if there are refrigators in the rooms we will book here for two weeks.
• Don (7/5): - There was something for breakfast for a celiac. Breakfast is still limited for a celiac, though gluten free bread was appreciated. However, had to ask for a new loaf to replace one with mould. Hard boiled eggs were also old. Price similar to others in area that include hot breakfast.

Comme je commence mon petit déj avec du protéine, j'ai aimé que les oeufs en faisaient partie. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'acceuil des deux dames. Rien de spécial.

• Joan (4/5): - We had someone try and get into our room in the middle of the night, as well as the air conditioner system was very loud so kept waking us up. The walls are also super thin so we heard our neighbor talking loudly with their room guests until around 1-2 am

• Alandra (4/5): - Our room wasn’t cleaned our entire stay even after requests to the front desk, as well as having the service sign on our door everyday. We were told cleaning staff prioritize turnover rooms and then leave for the day immediately after. This shocked me as we had to swap rooms initially as the first room we got had gross black hair all over the bathroom, bed, drain, and hair dryer. There were issues with dead bugs in our second room on the shower and window seat, and functionality issues with the shower drainage. I have stayed here many times before and I was shocked. The service has gone wildly down hill including the state of the breakfast (multiple mornings the hard boiled eggs were not even on ice) and the price has gone up. Was pretty upset but am hoping it was just an off week as this was not my previous experience. I stay here when visiting family but if my next stay isn’t back to their previous standard I would look into airbnb. Seems to be the same price in that area.

• Mara L (2/5): Worst stay ever - Never seen a more un inviting hotel. From my check in. To the first walk to my room. I opened the door. Musty moldy odor. Mirrors had finger prints. Remote for tv was sticky. Thr toilet bowl was dirty. The shampoo bottle was half full. The shower head is at 5feet 10 max. Very loud hall way. And breakfast was absolutely embarrassing...no plates..waffle/ pancake machine was not working. No warm breakfast. Bread juice milk cereal..coffee. my worst stay at a hotel ...ever.

• Mylène (7/5): - C’est à 15 minutes de Calypso, le petit-déjeuner continental offre une bonne variété et l’hôtel est bien entouré (restos et commerces). J’aurais apprécié avoir un coin repas dans la chambre (ou au moins 2 chaises). Il manquait de crochets dans l’entrée et dans la salle de bain.

Check in was delayed as individual working check in was busy doing administrative and supply tasks that they did not leave to check in the two guests who had arrived. Guest waiting to be checked in had to wait for an extended period to be helped while the individual ignored them. Chair in the room was broken, room was fair in cleanliness, old coffee pods in the coffee maker indicated coffee maker hadn't been cleaned, garbage under the bed from previous guests. Breakfast was less than average for a continental breakfast. It was "ok" to stay in, but below average for a Microtel.

• Amanda (9/5): - The staff were all friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. The only disappointment is that the breakfast area is very small and therefore the selection is too. Still enjoyed the breakfast but would have enjoyed scrambled eggs or sausage, etc
• Stephen (4/5): - The fire alarm went off at 11:30 pm. The room was dirty and the bed unmade. There were only muffics for breakfast. Orange juice was water.
