- Mark (8/5): - The free shuttle from and to the airport was great. As was the restaurant, which served good food at a very reasonable price. I was disappointed with the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in my room. Plus TV access was very limited ( could only watch YouTube). But was only staying one night before catching a domestic flight to my destination. It was not a big problem.

- Rachel (2/5): - * we were attempting to organise airport transfers by messaging the hotel through the app, but received no response to our messages. We had to make special arrangements for a call from overseas to access this service * transfers were finally organised, but noone showed up until an hour and a half after the flight landed. After half an hour of waiting outside the airport, we called and were told the driver was there, but he didn’t turn up for another half hour after that. After 28 hours in transit, the last thing you want to do is stand outside the airport for an hour, waiting for a pickup. * the room was sparse, almost monastic, with concrete walls and no window. No artwork or anything to reduce the feel of being in a cell. * everything was noisy. The air conditioner rattled terribly, there were trolleys being pushed up the passage and doors slamming all night, and people calling out to each other. In the morning the room was right next to the restaurant, so we were awoken to the sound of cutlery and crockery clinking and conversations, starting from about 6am. Not ideal when we only finally made it to our room at 3am. * the room had no hot water in the shower. We reported this to the front desk, who said they called housekeeping. noone showed to fix anything before we were picked up for our transport into town, and we weren't offered any alternative arrangements. so after a very long transit and a poor sleep, we couldn’t even have a hot shower before starting our visit.

- Michael (4/5): - Not a very well kept property with few amenities. There are many better choices in this price range. The complimentary shuttle was a bonus. The tv only worked if you have Prime or other premium channel service. Very few nice food options along a busy street.
- Joseph (2/5): - I booked and was charged over $100USD for a premium suite only to get there to be downgraded to a double room that goes for $50. They promised to make it right only to find out they refused to do anything about it or reimburse me the difference. It was extremely noisy with us being woke up multiple times through the night. The free breakfast was all unavailable leaving limited crappy options to choose from. Due to the downgrade we had to rent an additional room and where charged multiple extra fees for a third person to stay in a room for 4 people. The shuttle was earlier that we were told not even allowing us to eat our limited crappy breakfast. Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! It was also not only us having problems, as we heard other families there dealing with similar issues of having booked a big family room to be downgraded as well and they had to rent an extra room as well. Do Not Stay Here!!! I'm still trying to get my money back from their mistakes even when I paid for the insurance just in case something like this happened!! Definitely the WORST experience of my entire 30 day trip in the country and multiple hotels in multiple locations! I would give - stars if it was possible!!!

- abigail (4/5): - The staff are nice. I appreciate the free shuttle going to the airport. I tried to schedule a shuttle to pick me up from the airport to the hotel but nobody would answer the calls. I called over 20 times in a span of 5hrs. So I guess the free shuttle is only from hotel to airport but not vice versa. The rooms are small and dirty. There’s bugs and cockroaches. Upon inspection, there’s a strand of hair on the sheets. We also didn’t get any sleep before our flight because the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear the nonstop traffic outside. There’s free breakfast but we didn’t take them as we are scared of getting sick because of how unsanitary the place is. I do not recommend to anyone.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Scary hotel with terrible service - I booked this hotel because they offered a free shuttle to/from the airport. Scheduling the shuttle is a joke. It arrived at the airport 50 minutes after our arrival at the meet up location. The hotel itself is old, scary and buggy. The road noise was excessive all night. The toilet needed extra flushing. The front desk staff were not very accommodating. They tried to charge more for the San Miguel beer than it stayed on the menu in the room. The breakfast was not good. On my sandwich, I’d guess I received 1/4 of an egg and 3 pieces of bread. I scheduled the airport return shuttle in advance, reminded the front desk staff 15 minutes in advance and it still didn’t pick us up until 20 minutes after our scheduled time. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The staff are nice and always willing to help you out. Ask if you need directions to get somewhere. The staff for the restaurant are nice as well, and can suggest recommendations from the menu.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Choose Somewhere Else. - It started badly, when I arranged airport transfer which didn’t show. When I question why, they said they didn’t have my number even though I have messages from them saying thank you for passing my phone number on. The room was spacious and clean although phone didn’t work, not very good if in the event of an emergency. I had to go down to reception to order room service, first time for that. Food was good and plenty of it, although when I went down for breakfast the following morning there were roaches running around. Generally not a good stay, shame as I have travelled to different parts of Philippines and this was the last and by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in during my time there.

I had one roach, but that is expected in the Philippines, and they took care of it and I never saw another one. The TV Stations did not work, so it was very limited. The WIFI was very good and had no problems so I watch my TV on my smart phone or lap top. The restaurants are close. I loved that they pick you up and bring you back to the airport. I for sure will be back!

Hotels in other smart countries would call the room first, extend the room if the guest overstays, or simply just leave the guest alone and deal with it at check out, but no! Here I get repeated knocks on the door, I tried to attempt to ignore the knocks, but the knocking during sex was so annoying by the 3rd time I was forced to answer the door! This hotel is ran by brainless idiots! Sadly I was a guest at this hotel for several past visits. But the service has gotten worse after the renovation. Hotel just got bigger with worst service! Never staying at this hotel again!
- Alfred (2/5): - Name is Alfred, this hotel has always been my number one choice in the past, even during the time I was sick for 3 months I stayed at Oyster. But after their expansion this year in 2024, the hotel's quality service has declined a lot. They no longer answer their '114' or '1114' calls to order in breakfast. I tried calling that number on Saturday October 5th and never got an answer, so dialed '0' to get the fromt desk to contact the kitchen for my order. The coffee I placed with the order never arrived. Knowing that food service can't be trusted to be brought to my room, I decided to dine in the next day to realize why staff won't answer their phone. The dining room had a lot more tables but not enough staff to manage the place. I saw the phone ringing as the only waitress in the restaurant was busy serving the entire room. So I see why my calls were blatantly ignored the previous day. Then on the morning of Monday, October 7th. I was rudely interrupted by the hotel guard who kept repeatey knocking on my door while I was having sex at 6am in the morning! Has this hotel ever heard of using the phone!? I was furious and marched downstairs to the lobby asking why the hell did the guard knock on my door at 6 in the morning! My checkout wasn't until the 8th! Turns out there was a mistake between knowing room 205 (my rooom) and room 250. This is the main reason why I am submitting this review! The staff here a bunch of incompetent idiots! And I used to like this hotel! 0 stars!

- Thelma (4/5): - No 24/7 shuttle service as advertised. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Location is noisy. Building is old, cleanliness not great, saw some false eyelashes on the bathroom wall. Also saw some crawling insects.

I was assigned Room 201, and found out later that the room phone did not work. I had to go downstairs to order dinner which was brought to my room in a timely manner. Food was not bad. The room seemed clean. I could not sleep because I could hear other guests in the hallway and the traffic noise outside was really bad. I dozed off but woke up at around 2am and saw a bug crawl under the bed. I also had a couple of bites on my right cheek, right arm and right thigh. I immediately packed up everything. Fortunately, the cleaning lady was outside my room and she called the guard to help me with my luggages. Front desk called for a GRAB service and I was off to the airport at 4am even if my flight was not til 10am. I could not get out of there fast enough!

- Gerardo (8/5): - We really enjoyed our stay because the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good as well.
- CLAUDIO (6/5): - The price was cheap and located about a 10 min. drive from the airport in Manila. The staff was helpful arranging transport, assisting in printing documents. The free shuttle only operated from 6am to 6pm. So that did not help us for our evening flight. Secondly the Wifi was so weak we could not use it in our room, we had to go to the lobby to get service. Thirdly, there was no elevator.

- Thomas (2/5): - I made a reservation through Expedia knowing that the property would provide transportation to and from the airport… they do not have a contact number on their website.. I tried getting this resolved through Expedia customer service but they told me to contact the property directly. Sooo here I am stuck in a loop. I decided to stay somewhere else because even the cab driver that I was trying g to hire didn’t know anything about the place. Needless to say, I’m disappointed, lost the costs for the nights accommodation too. I’ll check elsewhere next time.
