- Kelsie (6/5): - The cabin itself was very cute. Private hot tub is a bonus. We arrived after dark and it was incredibly hard to find our cabin, they could use even one reflective sign. The owners were NOT friendly, even though I notified them of our later arrival time ahead of our stay. Lots of essentials provided in the kitchen. The shower looked too rough to actually use. The beautiful scenery and novelty of staying in a historic cabin made up for it. It was good for one night. The cabins are pretty close to each other. We lucked out with kijd neighbors.

I was rarely using the bungalow, as most of my time was everything to visit was a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive 1- way ~ 100+ miles from Brisco, BC to Lake Louise,/ Moraine Lake, Lake Louise Gondola, Banff NP, Banff townsite in Alberta. Half of my day was in Lake Louise/ Banff NP region. The other half of my visit was driving ~ 100+ miles back to Brisco, BC. I found the bungalow to be comfortable, for those few hours of my visit when I was there (mainly eating breakfast, sleeping, & eating dinner). The front porch light was out during my visit. I found the bungalow was fully self- sufficient with kitchen & bathroom. I had no need to use the fireplace for heat for meeting my needs. The windows were good to use for cross- ventilation to keep the bungalow cool during the daytime. Personally, I felt that the bungalow was over-priced $ for value, ,(since I was hardly ever there during the daytime for all of the days of my visit). I usually like peace & quiet to sleep at night, (but barking dogs kind of put a bit of a damper on that).

Wood was supplied and also provided axe . Cooked on the propane BBQ. on the deck. Outside chairs on the deck and around the firepit were in disrepair and really could not be used .

My favorite part was the family dog cinnamon...she was beautiful and so friendly!!!
- Mirko (7/5): - Schöne Lage. Das Personal war eher introvertiert. aber hilfsbereit. Guter Gasgrill und schöner Kamin. Wir konnten ihn leider nicht ausprobieren, da das Wetter zu heiß war. Der Rauchmelder war sehr sensibel eingestellt. Alarm bei jedem Toast.
- Hladkevych (7/5): In summer it’s nice because you spend most of the time outside. In winter it might feel a bit cramped. Overall, it’s a g - Great location, BBQ, hot tub and lovely owner’s dog, fast internet. The sink in the bathroom was dirty, the shower is tiny with an awkward tap – for a girl it’s almost impossible to shower comfortably. There were cobwebs, no AC, so during the day it gets really hot as the little house heats up. At night it’s fine because the outside temperature drops. Also, there are two separate taps for hot and cold water – not convenient for washing your face or doing the dishes. A new mixer tap would really help. And a new mirror.

- Diana (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay and we will stay there again in the future. - The cabin was a nice size and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes pot and pans and utensils. Even though we did not rent a cabin to watch TV, the TV was very small and the volume did not go very loud.
- Stuart (10/5): - The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was a nice spot to sleep and relax in to serve as a base to explore the valley and near by parks. Cabin was clean and comfortable and the hosts we friendly and helpful. The setting in rural in a forest/ranchland so there are insects outside and some come in when you open the door as expected. The cabin building and furnishings are older so are not bright and modern, but they but clean and functional. It was neat to see the bats flying around at night while we watched the stars.

One of the highlights was the secluded hot tub, which offered the perfect place to unwind and soak under the stars. We also really enjoyed gathering around the communal fire pit in the evenings — it was a great spot to relax, roast marshmallows, and connect with other guests. A perfect balance of comfort, nature, and thoughtful touches — highly recommended!

The manager/owner was so kind and hospitable. On the top of that we had some issues with our car-and he managed to fix it ( he is mechanic) so we could continue our trip safely! Private hot tub was a nice feature The cabins are old which presents a challenge for electricity. We tried to boil a pot of water for spaghetti on the provided hot plate and it took hours! There is a BBQ as an alternative but in our case it wouldn’t work for our dinner.

Bed was comfortable. The shower was leaking and was a little noisy. There was no coffee in the cabin. The hot tub water was cloudy. Not sure if that the water in the area or if it needed cleaning.

- David (10/5): - The bungalows are ideally located just off the highway but the area is so quiet. We only stayed the one night but would definitely have stayed longer had we not been on a road trip and prebooked our next hotels. You need to be prepared for the drop in temperature at night, even in the summer months, but the cabins are well equipped to help you cope with it.

- Key (4/5): Disappointing - The location was good. The bungalow was a pretty old building. The weather was so hot and there were a lot of mosquitoes and bugs. It was so hot in the room that I wanted to open the windows, but not all of the windows could be opened, and the mosquito net was torn in some places. They kindly brought me another fan and sprayed mosquito coils and mosquito repellent, but I had a hard time with the mosquitoes and the heat all night.

Two electric cooker, one was out of order.No table in the living room, instead a big whirlpool. No tap of hot and cold water together. Everything in the bathroom is old-fashioned and needs to be thrown away.

- Arghavan (1/5): Horrible! Do not book! - Nothing! It was super dirty. The bedding was filthy and ripped. There was some hair on the bed. So many different types of insects in the bungalow. Everything was old. It was so dreadful we couldn’t stay even for a night. Just half an hour after we got there we had to get out and look for another hotel and we had to drive an hour to get to Farimont hotel which was the most decent one in the area.

The cabin features a cozy fireplace and a relaxing hot tub, both of which are sure to provide the ultimate comfort and relaxation. And, with the convenience of firewood provided, you won't have to worry about a thing!
- Jason (9/5): We’ll be back next year! - We love the vintage rustic experience that this place offers. My kids really enjoyed it as well. A good place to disconnect from the stresses of life and just relax. It would be nice if it was located a little closer to tourist attractions, but still worth the trip.

They were kind and overall a wonderfully host for the property! The grounds manager - cinimon- would come by often and get pets and belly rubs. Very good doggo. - Harrie (4/5): Tradional 70’ies wooded cabin in nice setting in need of proper clean - Location as group of traditional wooden chalets (sorry no bungalows!) nicely situated in a bushy surrounding. Facilities is a mixture, modern facilities as hottub, large fridge, BBQ and high speed internet / TV combined with outdated facilities. If you like kind of glamping then this could fit you. Outdated facilities as kitchen, shower, sink, gathering of kitchentools as you would gather at garage sales. No airconditioning, only an old fan. Narrow bedrooms. Quite dirty especially in bedrooms, ketchen cabinet and washroom (under beds, on corners of shelfs and under furniture, layer of dust and probable droplings) Unfortunately our cabin was visited by mouse in nighttime, which broke our night chasing it (probably more) away, in morning several droplings found in kitchen and on our food. Owner surprised and promised to find and close spot where it enters….mouses in environment is logical but should not be able to get inside, we believe he will fix it, but we decided to move elsewhere.

- Irina (10/5): Exceptional - The little cabin was lovely and super comfortable with all the necessary stuff for leaving And, the host requires a particular word - such a sweet guy!
- Krisztina (10/5): Exceptional - Owners, cabins (oldies, but goodies 😉) , location, quiet, and tranquil. BBQ for each cabins! Dog friendly The owner's dog is super friendly. Even though we have not fed her, she was hanging around at our cabin. Lots of birds around. Also, local farm animals around. I was surprised. They have "room service." Will empty garbage bins, chamge towels, bring toilet paper, and for longer stays, change bed linens if neended. We loved it ❤️ The bathroom is tiny, especially the shower. I would need an update... but I could do it for 3 nights. If someone is bigger or has mobility issues, it would be hard to move around in it or use the shower.

- Amanda (8/5): Very good - Cute cabin. Love the fireplace and thankful for the fan as it was very hot! Overall it was great Bathroom was a bit dirty and cramped
- Lev (7/5): Good - Clean bed sheets, hot tub. Unfortunately we found filthy floors full with someone's hair, dirty dishes, squeaky and poor furniture. The water faucets are separate for hot and cold water so it's virtually impossible to get something in between. Too small for a family of 5 although it is suggested as suitable. There's no repellent to keep the mosquitoes away. There's nothing to mop the floor in the bathroom so it gets very messy after kids.
