• sandra (6/5): Correct mais pas extraordinaire. - Hotel de centre ville, hall d'accueil et salle de petit dejeuner spacieuse. Joli choix pour déjeuner, classique mais efficace. Parking a proximité pour 9£ (demander le ticket a la reception). Lits confortables. Le Mr de l'accueil n'était pas agréable du tout, il parlait tres vite avec un accent prononcé incompréhensible...et plus vite encore quand je lui disais que je ne comprenais pas (je précise que mon anglais est correct et que j'ai voyagé dans le monde entier). La chambre bien que correcte est tres sombre, la fenêtre au fond de la pièce donne contre le mur des chambres d'en face.

• Jessica (6/5): Het was oke - Op het moment van aankomst was er geen warm water in het hotel. Het personeel heeft een korting aangeboden alsook aangeboden ons ergens anders onder te brengen. De locatie is erg centraal in de stad. De kamer was erg klein en zeer gehorig.

• Martin (6/5): Great hotel poor sleep - Great location and the hotel itself is great. The pillows are insanely soft and even doubling up leads to an uncomfortable night. A selection of firm and soft pillows may offer choice.

• mrslblair (8/5): Overnight stay in Glasgow - * The location * The very friendly check in * Ability to leave bags (pre-check and post-check out) * Room was large enough for two people, with a huge comfortable bed * Good coffee available I'd return if in the area again, given the location, cost and the friendliness of the staff (as well as the comfy bed). You're only a short walk from the train stations and subway. * There were some tired bits in the hotel, scuffed paint work etc. * Bacon wasn't replenished during the time we were sitting (all other breakfast items were and good) * The shower pressure wasn't the best (although nice hot water)

• Morgan (10/5): One of my favourite stays ever! - I was a little confused at first because I had never been in a hotel where you have to take a lift up to the first floor to check in. However, this was an easy fix through the signs in the ground floor area. There was a very quick and efficient, but also very welcoming check-in. I really liked that I needed my key card to access the lift and enter the floor my room was on, that made me feel safe as a solo-traveller. The size of the room was more than enough for what you'd need if you were by yourself, and would have very comfortably fit another person too. There were quirks like Duke of Wellington prints in the room, giving it a lot more personality than other chain-brands. The only thing I can think of is perhaps adding the ability to scan the key card on the external door before the second door after a certain time of night. I think this would prevent perhaps drunk people passing by to stand in the doorway. I do, however, think this is a very secure hotel.

Had no hot water our one night there, however, mgmt offered discounts or option for another hotel. Did not bother us.
