André (8/5): Beau et calme - L'accueil est sympathique, le personnel à l'écoute, le cadre est beau et les chambres très confortables. Le lieu est calme. Petit point d'amélioration à mon avis : le petit-déjeuner n'est servi qu'à partir de 8h30. Nous aurions préféré 8h, car c'est un peu tard pour certaines activités comme le départ pour la vallée de l'Ourika, car le départ imposé par l'organisateur était de 8h45.

Aimable, efficace et m’a bien aidée avec un problème avec booking. Salle de douche plutôt vétuste. Un robinet eau chaude et un robinet eau froide. En 2026: plus acceptable. Petite chambre de 2m sur 10m. Petit lit de 140cm: trop petit pour 2 adultes. Rooftop laissé un peu à l’abandon. Coussins sales et déchirés. Bref: un gros travail à faire.

Rooms were spacious and staff couldn’t do enough to help you. It’s difficult to locate within the very busy Medinas but if you want hustle and bustle, don’t let that put you off. Once in the grounds of the hotel, it is very tranquil and quiet.

tutolo (5/5): Tante criticità! - La gentilezza dello staff. Le recensioni, così come i punteggi per questo ed altri Riad di Marrakech, andrebbero rivisti e abbassati di almeno 3/4 voti. La nostra stanza ha avuto un problema tecnico e prontamente il ragazzo della reception si è attivato per risolvere il problema ed in tutta onestà la struttura ci ha riconosciuto un rimborso parziale, su questo sono stati ineccepibili. Le criticità della stanza: pulizia sommaria, stato degli arredi usurato, finiture della stanza vissute, biancheria da bagno non idonea, sporca e di cattivo odore. Esternamente mal mantenuta, cuscineria esterna sporca, stato generale discreto. Colazione, una enorme delusione, cornetti/croissant vecchi, crepe marocchina riscaldata che sapeva di padella sporca. Ad onor del vero sono criticità che abbiamo riscontrato in tutti i Riad in cui abbiamo soggiornato ed onestamente per i costi richiesti non è ammissibile un servizio del genere.
Peter (7/5): In need of refurbishment / loving care - The loyal staff who have been there for years were as lovely as ever. Good breakfast in the Riad courtyard. It must be so disappointing for the staff to see the Riad starved of money for maintenance and decor. It's not the Riad we stayed at before it changed hands. No attention to detail. It feels like the owners are taking little interest in their property or don't know how to make improvements. It's tired and rather dull.

Clara (10/5): Séjour incroyable, accueil chaleureux et riad magnifique. - Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans ce riad. L’accueil a été exceptionnel dès notre arrivée. L'équipe est chaleureuse, attentionnée et toujours disponible pour aider ou donner de bons conseils. Le riad est magnifique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et parfaitement entretenu, ce qui crée une atmosphère à la fois authentique et très relaxante. Les chambres étaient confortables, propres et très calmes, idéales pour se reposer après une journée de visite. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la terrasse et les espaces communs, qui sont très agréables pour se détendre. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, varié et généreux, avec des produits frais. L’emplacement est aussi parfait pour découvrir la ville tout en profitant d’un havre de paix une fois de retour au riad. En résumé, une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésiter. Merci encore à toute l’équipe pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme !

Samira muy agradable a nuestra llegada, nos explico muy bien todo y nos ofreció té con pastas. La habitación grande y la cama muy confortable. El desayuno correcto, aunque por comentarios esperaba mas. Al riad le faltan algunos arreglos, muchas cosas rotas. El barral de la cortina de la habitación se me cayó en el dedo al correr la cortina. La habitación olía mucho a tuberías, creo q se arreglaría con algún ambientador. A mi parecer le faltaba algo de limpieza. El desayuno los dos dias igual, sin nada de fruta y con 1 huevo para los dos, creo que deberían variar un poco, pedí desayunar en la terraza y no me lo permitieron, hacia mucho frio en esa zona del desayuno y habia muchas moscas. El dia anterior a irnos llegamos cansados a las 10 y nos dice el recepcionista que debemos pagar ese dia, creo q no era el momento, estamos acostumbrados a hacer las cuentas cuando nos vamos y no el dia anterior a las 10 de la noche..por cierto el recepcionista, que jamas nos dijo su nombre no era muy simpático, tampoco nos llevó las maletas cuando nos fuimos.

Carmela Rita (7/5): Weekend tra amiche - Riad molto carino, situato nella Medina ma in una posizione strategica, a 2 minuti a piedi dalla fermata del taxi. Ho alloggiato per un weekend con 4 amiche, ci siamo sempre sentite al sicuro qui e durante il tragitto taxi/riad - riad/taxi. Tutto abbastanza tranquillo. Personale gentile e sorridente, molto disponibili. Siamo arrivate alle 21:30, inaspettatamente pioveva molto e il ragazzo della reception, senza che glielo chiedessi, ci è venuto ad aiutare con le valigie e con l’ombrello alla fermata dei taxi. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il suo gesto. Colazione da migliorare e arricchire, ma buona Materassi e cuscini da cambiare in quanto troppo duri. Inoltre, nella camera doppia in cui hanno alloggiato le mie amiche era presente il camino che emanava un cattivo odore molto intenso, considerando che non si utilizza andrebbe chiuso o almeno pulito per bene.

Andrew John (6/5): Roof terrace a massive disappointing, we came home early. - The staff were great. The accommodation was good but just come to end of a refurbishment, there were still paint pots tucked under the stairs. The accommodation, was clean, the food was great, we were well looked after, if you wanted a drink, water, coffee, just asked and it was provided, the location was quiet and nicely decorated. More importantly and why we came home early is that the roof terrace wasn't finished. I am sure once the roof terrace is finished it will be great. The roof terrace wasn't finished, no bar and we weren't told. We booked for the roof terrace. The pool is a dip pool and not what we expected. Once the roof terrace is finished I am sure it will be a great stay.

Valerie (5/5): A 250 euros la nuit on s’attendait à autre chose. - La gentillesse de la propriétaire du Ryad La propreté : pas de ménage juste un lit retapé grossièrement. Pas de changement de serviettes. Une odeur désagréable très marquée dans la chambre. Le manque de mobilier (coussins moisis au sol en guise de chaises), pas d’ampoule dans l’une des 2 lampes de chevet. Pas de débit d’eau suffisant dans la douche.
Louis (7/5): I had a nice and comfortable stay with my son and really felt welcome. - Comfortable and stylish riad with friendly staff and great breakfast. Few things could have been better. Because of the fold up bed in the closet I could not hang clothes. Samira, the manager, was very helpfull and took the bed out of the room. 2. The heating of the ac wasn’t working. In the winter and with lot’s of rain, it’s nice to have a heater. 3. The courtyard resonates sound, so if you are a light sleeper, you could wake up. And maybe this is ‘t the riad for young parents with a baby.

Sascha (7/5): Schönes Riad, mit Top Personal in super Lage. Perfekt für den Auftakt in Marrakesch. - Die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber, insgesamt das Ambiente, der Pool war auch im tiefsten Winter warm! Man ist zu Fuß sofort in den Soukhs und an vielen der markantesten Touristen-Spots! Leider hat bei uns die Klimaanlage nicht gut funktioniert, sodass es sehr kühl im Raum wurde. Uns wurde ein Feuer im Kamin angezündet, um entgegenzuwirken.

La posizione è perfetta, in centro ma non nel casino, e decisamente più vicina alla parte della Medina più autentica. Un plauso particolare allo staff e in particolar modo a Samira, che ci ha fatto sentire coccolati e a casa fuori da casa. Stupendo e consigliatissimo.

Thameema (5/5): Great location. - Sameera the manager, the chef were the only people with great hospitality. The air conditioner wasn’t cooling well. The staff’s children were jumping in the pool and making noises disturbing the guests. The rest of the staff apart from the manager and the chef weren’t welcoming enough.

It is a lovely little courtyard but be aware the pool is tiny but refreshing. Roof terrace - not tidied up, same towels were there the day we left. Maybe could consider a privacy curtain on the bathroom door? (There is a wall that blocks it from main room but need to avoid using sink if your friend on the loo!)

Amelia (8/5): A great stay, in a great location - Our junior suite room was a fantastic size and very clean and light. Samir and the other lady were really friendly and welcoming. A birthday cake was organised, airport transfers and a private trip to Atlas mountains. The main square and souks is easy to find and a straight forward walk. Breakfast was nice and they had coffee which was a plus. We were lucky enough to stay during a festival called Ashura and the locals around the riad welcomed us in to join their celebrations, we felt safe in the area. Cute roof terrace area, we were not told about at check in but knew it was there from the booking description. Arriving back late at night made us feel a little like we were in trouble with the night staff. We hadn't experienced this before on holiday, thats the only negative we had at dar charkia

The location of the riad is perfect — tucked away in a calm, quiet street but just a short walk from all the main attractions in the medina. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a large bed that we really appreciated. We also enjoyed relaxing on the terrace, a peaceful spot to unwind. One small note: the bed sheets weren’t 100% cotton, which made it feel a bit warm at night, but it was manageable. As for breakfast, while everything was fresh and the ladies serving it were incredibly kind and gentle, we would have loved a more generous offering with more Moroccan specialities to truly experience the local flavors. Overall, a beautiful riad in a fantastic location with great hospitality.

Emily (10/5): A great choice! - Very good position on edge of Medina. Felt safe. Near taxi drop off. Lady in charge spoke great English, and all staff so helpful and polite. Lovely bteakfasts too. Mattress was a bit too firm for my husband but I liked it!

The shower pressure in our room wasn't particularly great, sometimes there was no hot water, sometimes the water would cut out completely for 5 mins. The room we stayed in also smelled on smoke from the fireplace which eventually made our luggage smell...

Oksana (8/5): Beautiful stay in good location - Beautiful place, friendly helpful staff, good location. You may need earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The birds that fly inside can be quite noisy and start chirping at sunrise. Additionally, people gather for breakfast, and some even swim at 8 AM, which can be quite disruptive.

Mark (10/5): Nice sweet small place to stay in old town. - Very nice Riad. These homes turned into hotels are very quaint. For US customers, you can think of them almost like a B&B. The rooms lacked a desk or chair. Shower did not drain, but these are very old homes. Breakfast was same daily, simple but very decent. The layout of the place was wonderful. It was a great sanctuary from the craziness of the old town and hard to believe you were in the middle of town.
