- Stefan Niclas (7/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt, vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind die Zimmer für den Standard aber zu teuer - Das Frühstück war hervorragend, die Lage ist zentral in der Innenstadt und gegenüber der kommunalen Veranstaltungshalle sehr verkehrsgünstig und es standen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat sich sehr nett gekümmert. Die Zimmer sind zwar weitestgehend sauber, jedoch von der Ausstattung und insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen. Im Keller ist ein Irish Pub. Am Sonntagmorgen war es durch die Gäste, am Eingang davor sehr laut in der Nacht.

- 149sanneh (10/5): A hidden gem full of quality and high level of service - I woke up this February morning feeling quite uplifted. And that was even before breakfast!? My husband and I just spend the night at Hotel Europa in Aabenraa. And though place in the middle of the city, there was almost no noise from the surroundings. Yesterday we were met by Helle, a smiling, welcoming woman who greeted both me and my husband, who arrived a bit later. She offered freshly baked cookies, coffee and tea from the local (and rather famous) tea-store. The room was clean, tidy and had a certain atmosphere due to the hotel's age. We had a room on 3rd floor but still there was no problems when e.g. filling the tub with hot water. The amenities - soap and bodylotion - smelled lovely, felt nice and had some organic ingredients. Tea and coffee-facilities in room free of charge. We also visited one of the two restaurants at the hotel - very good, kind staff - and afterwards we enjoyed a cup of coffee in the lobby/lounge. Very relaxing and privat. The breakfast had several organic opportunities, and it was surprisingly good (we did not expect such a high standard because the price in total was rather cheap). Hotel Europa offers freshly baked buns, ryebread from the local bakery, "rundtykker", high-end cheese, humus, vegetables and fruit, homemade juice, eggs made by order, baked beans, sausages, yogurt, crumble, cakes and so on. When checking out we met Lasse, the most welcoming and kind and talkative front desk-worker. We talked about the hotel and the area and their priority for hiring educated/trained staff (chefs, waiters and so on) in order to maintain a high level of service (which they certainly lived up to). We highly reccomend a stay at this hidden gem - Aabenraa is very beautiful as well with old streets, shopping and close to the seaside. Surrounded by beautiful nature). We'll be back!

- Koller (7/5): Ein etwas überbezahlter Aufenthalt in einem Hotel mit gutem Restaurant, nahe dem Zentrum eines hübschen Städtchens. - Gute zentrumsnahe Lage, freundlicher Empfang Wir hatten das wohl kleinste und engste Zimmer: schmale 80-cm-Betten, das eine davon an der Wand. Etwas teuer für diesen Raum (auch wenn - entgegen dem Booking-Beschrieb - immerhin das Frühstück inbegriffen war).
- Tom (4/5): - Det var svært at få kanalerne. Hvorfor er der ikke tv 2. Internettet staler og smider en af konstant. Hotellet virker bestemt ikke hundevenligt. Det virker som om at tilladelsen til at medbringe hunde er en beklagelig nødvendighed. Man kan bare se hvor mange begrænsninger der står omkring hunde. Der står intet om børn, højlydte eller ødelæggende. Fulde og larmende gæster. Vi ringede over inden vi kom og forklarede at jeg var handicappet. I den forbindelsen spurgte jeg til parkering. Fik at vide at det ikke var nødvændigt at reservere da der var mange p pladser. Ved indcheckning viste det sig at alle pladser var optaget. Vi blev henvist til de offentlige pladser overfor. Vi kunne dog betale for en plads(det de ellers sagde ikke skulle være nødvændigt). Senere fandt vi ud af at de pladser hotellet henviste til kun havde 4 timers parkering. Personalet ved indcheckningen var professionelt men vi følte os ikke velkomne. Alt i alt så har hi ikke løst til at gentage besøget.
