- EASWARCHANDRAN (9/5): A GREAT STAY - VALUE FOR MONEY - I had the opportunity of staying in this hotel with my family for three nights (21st to 24th April).
I am happy to have taken the wise decision of staying here.
We were given Room-303 for our stay.
It made our stay very comfortable and safe with excellent staff, good restaurant, clean & spacious room with all facilities such as electric kettle, neat linen, sufficient supply of toiletries, bottled drinking water, wi-fi etc.
All the services such as housekeeping, room service etc were prompt and appreciable.
The food supplied in the in-house restaurant was of good quality.
Despite the election restraints the hotel was able to maintain their food supply uninterrupted.
The hotel is centrally located at T. Nagar, a commercial centre, in Chennai.
This hotel caters to both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel is conveniently placed with easy access to renowned shopping stores and many other important centres.
The in-house restaurant “Subhodayam” offers multicuisine apart from Andhra cuisine.
This restaurant is compact and comfortably located in the ground floor.
There is a rooftop bar “Sudaka” to entertain willing guests.
This hotel suits our budget with great comforts.
Through this review We would like to record our sincere thanks to all the staff particularly the reception executives for their excellent hospitality.
Recommended for a safe comfortable family stay.
It is a great budget stay at Chennai the corridor carpets could be renewed as the current one is worn-out and smelly.
- Prabhakaran (8/5): - Staff's are ok, front desk Mr Suresh is so kind and helpful. The Air conditioning was not working whole night, me and my wife was struggling to sleep whole night, it was sweating and we two was wake, WiFi was signals are dropping
- ANA (10/5): - Muy limpio, estandar europeo
- Rafi (8/5): -
- Niranjana (10/5): Good, will be back if need to stay in same area of Chennai. - Room was spacious and since we were traveling as group of 3 this was really good. Super safe and staff are also helpful.

- Curtis (8/5): A great one‑night stay in a perfect location with friendly staff, great breakfast - We liked the location of the hotel. It is close to many restaurants within walking distance, which was perfect for our one‑night stay on the way to Pondicherry. We tried Biriyani Paradise nearby and would definitely recommend it. The hotel is also close to the bus and metro, which makes travelling around easy.
The breakfast was good with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall our stay was smooth and comfortable. Honestly, nothing. We had no complaints during our stay.

Grote kamer.
Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt niets
- Viswanath (9/5): - Excellent services and nice hospitality
- vincent (6/5): -
- Galina (10/5): The best value for money - One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in India. Very clean, stuff is very polite and helpful. My son got sick and people helped me go buy a medicine in the late evening.
- Thenn moli (10/5): -
- GOPIKRISHNA (8/5): Convenient budget stay in a strategic location - Location was great! Very close to shopping areas like Pondy Bazaar and T-Nagar. Breakfast was authentic South Indian food with attentive service by staff. The beds tend to make you slide down if you are not careful, especially since we had two separate single beds.
There was a slab of wooden plank on the floor with a nail on it, between the entrance from the cupboard to the beds area, that poses a safety hazard especially with old people. We had to wear footwear in the room and carefully walk over the plank.
- Jesper (10/5): - Staff, room, food NA
- Walker (9/5): A comfortable stay that was value for money - Comfortable beds, shower good with plenty of hot water. Staff attentive. Choice of S Indian breakfast, toast/eggs and fruit. Near metro station for airport. Only the coffee and that the roof top bar was not open.
- Harish (9/5): Excellent - The location was perfect. The staff were really amazing and very helpful. Excellent restaurant food. Some staff were serving tamil first rather then me which was not acceptable. I asked the question why but they did not have an answer. ---- A very big negative
- WINSTON (9/5): reallly good place to stay - The staff was consderate . Vishnu and Karthk were very service oriented. This hotel functions with taste and graciousness . The hotel attracts mid and high range customers but it lacks touristic servcies to stayers. It would be good to have a 1) Travel desk able to offer sightseeing packages
2) Site map of hotel and the vicinity , highlighiting the key shopping and fun activty areas
- Thenn moli (10/5): - Breakfast was gd
- Dafydd (8/5): Well located, comfortable rooms, but breakfast area was below par - Our room was clean and presentable with a good amount of space. Location was good for accessing Chennai’s main locations. The rooms were nice and clean, but the breakfast area was less so. Looked like it could do with a proper scrub. On our first morning, we saw a cockroach scurrying around the toaster area so decided not to eat there. Difficult to imagine it had gone unnoticed…
- Logesh (7/5): It was ok but not worth the money - Location, food and staff were good. The bed was moving if you stretch. It was causing so much discomfort. The furniture in the room was looking dirty. Flooring was coming off at few places.
- Anton (10/5): - Rooms as shown in the pictures, clean and furniture in good (renovated) condition.
Overall a very good stay. Nothing.
- Viren (7/5): Good - T Nagar is an excellent location with Pondy Bazar and Spencer Mall in the vicinity. Breakfast and Room service was good. It is pricey. It is possible there may be better bargains available. I had to check out a few hours late , due to my late night flight and the extra charges were almost an extra day’s stay !! Airport is 15kms away .
- Andrea (8/5): Good place for Chennai - Clean and simple stay in Chennai. Perfect for a couple of nights. Very kind staff. They don’t provide taxi service from the airport.
Personeel was zeer behulpzaam, niets was teveel gevraagd.
- Tristram (8/5): -
- Yulia (8/5): Decent - The hotel room is as described on the pictures, it is clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful The brackfast lacked variety;
Internet is not reliable it was regularly disconnecting;
At one point there was electricity outage in the hotel,
Sound isolation from the street is not perfect you can hear some noise at night
- Kav Latch (7/5): -
- Peter (9/5): - The bedroom was wonderfully furnished and decorated as was the bathroom with a lovely shower.
Rooftop cocktail bar and place to sit was an added benefit, and the gentleman man ran was a Star. Tea and coffee at breakfast was always too strong.
Food was good.
- Alice (8/5): -
- Rajiv (8/5): Value for money - Everything Nil
- Shiva (9/5): Clean, comfortable and good service - Clean, comfortable and good service
- Vijayakumar (10/5): - Staff service and reachable to all place with in the city nothing as of now
- Geoffrey (10/5): What a great place to stay. - Wow, the Saibaba is so nice. The staff were exceptionally friendly. My room was HUGE and the shower with the window looking out into the room was so lovely. Very comfortable bed and just overall a really nice place. I'd definitely stay here again. When I had trouble connecting to the Wifi a staff member was in my room within minutes helping me. Thank you. Nothing at all, my stay was perfect.
- Lauriane (9/5): - Chambre spacieuse, confortable et propre
- Dr Arvind Kumar (9/5): - Excellent stay , good location, trained staff, good quality food
- Premalata (7/5): -
- Saravanan (8/5): Very good -
- Ryspha (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is perfect, close to mall, temple and metro which takes you to airport. Nothing to dislike about this place, they give you 4 ⭐️ experience for 3 ⭐️ price
- Kanniwadi (10/5): Good value for money -
- Sohini (10/5): Exceptional -
- Smitha (9/5): Superb -
- Farjana (3/5): Poor -
- Vykunthan (8/5): Very good - Food
- Jekadesh (9/5): My stay at the Saibaba Hotel in Chennai was comfortable and convenient. - The hotel was located in a prime location, making it convenient to get to many places. The staff was amazing—very helpful and patient. They were always willing to assist us with booking taxis or autos to get anywhere. My stay at the Saibaba Hotel was definitely pleasant. None
- Robin (7/5): Affordable hotel well suited to the local clientele - First impressions are very good and the staff in general were courteous. Special mention to Louis who dealt efficiently with any issues we had in a friendly and effective way. Our bedroom windows were very dirty on the outside and the bathroom sink was cracked. Something strange about the construction of the building, noises - event and furniture movement - from the 5th floor (three above ours) seemed to resonate through the hotel. Not a reason to avoid the Saibaba, just peculiar and annoying at times.
- Dave (9/5): Very good for overnight stay but would be Ok to stay longer -
- Mayuresh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sundar (8/5): Very good -
- Shamala (10/5): Exceptional - Service very good, room very clean...staff very supportive..
- Gopal (9/5): Superb -
- Kannaiyan (8/5): Very good -
- Shanmukhasundaram (9/5): Pleasant stay for shopping - Room is clean. Staff are very friendly especially the restaurant staff and the reception desk staff. Breakfast is delicious and the food options are satisfactory. Location is convenient to reach the shopping areas. Wifi user ID and password are unique and the security breach is not possible to the best of my knowledge. Wifi is slow perhaps due to full occupancy during festival season.
- Mireille (9/5): High Class Hotel - The hotel staff was really kind and helped me to find an ATM and with other things. The restaurant in the hotel serves good food and one of the waiters told me a lot about Tamil culture and life in his village. My room and the hotel are very clean and possess a separate shower. I first had troubles finding the hotel, yet, the people of the neighbourhood knew the hotel and could me guide to it.
- Sarangan (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (8/5): Nice clean comfortable hotel in a good central location! - not applicable Would have been nice to have a balcony
- Devika (9/5): Great service and very pleasant staff. - Great hotel Everything was good
- Sorina (9/5): Breakfast nice and very helpful staff - Very nice staff Needs refreshing
- Hardik (8/5): Very good - Front office staff was the best. Thanx Sam. Breakfast was horrible and service was even worst. They ran out of butter that was the worst part. I mean how bad is the management that by 7 am you are out of butter!!!!
- Elaine (10/5): The Saibaba was a lovely place to stay, everyone was very nice, we're happy we chose it. - Breakfast was fine, dinner was delicious the coffee at breakfast!
- Leanne (10/5): Fabulous stay in a great hotel close to the metro. - The room was fantastic. It was spacious, well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Saibaba is conveniently within walking distance to the Metro. Best of all, we were given an early check in by the wonderful guys on the front desk.
- Philippa (10/5): Comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a nice neighborhood. - This hotel surprised me, being of a very high quality for the price and location. It was modern and comfortable with excellent facilities.
- Yashu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahim (7/5): Good hotel, good location, friendly staff. - Central location, everything important in Chennai is just around the corner. Have more industry standard range of amenities in the rooms.
- Josef (10/5): Exceptional - Could adjust perfectly to our needs. Helped us wherever they could and recommended good food while being discreet and polite in every aspect. Thank you
- Kavuri (9/5): Superb -

- Surendra (9/5): Superb -
- Bhupesh (8/5): Very good - Location, very near to everything I was looking for. Restaurants, Metro, etc.
- Viky_31748 (9/5): Excellent Stay with Nice location, room and Breakfast with walkable shopping. - T.nagar's very good location, with excellent cozy room and lovely breakfast.Just 10 mins.walk to Pondy Bazar for shopping and food. Nothing to highlight. Just a small suggestion to keep face tissue box and toilet tissues for international/NRI /Gulf Arab Guests.
- Atharva (9/5): Superb - Gym could have been provided
- Stanley (7/5): Good -
- Anusha (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (9/5): Superb - clean, comfortable, spacious room. pleasing decorations, 24/7 front desk, tasty food, location in the heart of t.nagar unappealing rooftop bar
- Siva (8/5): Very good -
- Jeevanantham (8/5): Very good - On 14th night, there was some carpentry work going on in the floor above us during the night and upon our complaint around 2 AM, they stopped and lost our sleep.
- Karunanithy (7/5): Standard is between okay and good. - Breakfast good, some room for improvement in western foods Cleaning the floors, tables. No smile on the staff., seems grumpy
- Patrick (9/5): I am sorry that we could not stay longer than one night. - The staff were very good. When we arrived we explained that we wanted to have a car the next day to take us around the sights of Chennai and then take us to the airport in the afternoon. They suggested an itinerary for us and organised the car all with the minimum of fuss.
We also liked the rooftop bar and restaurant and the excellent British Empire beer on offer. Nothing. All good.
