- David (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay at Travelers Rest Lodge. Diane was so helpful with all of the info we needed before our visit and we had a lovely warm welcome at check-in. Our cabin was spacious,
Well appointed and everything we could have wished for in a home from home while hiking in East Glacier. Would book again in a heart beat!

- Jill (10/5): - A quite clean room. We enjoyed our stay.
- Carrie (10/5): Couples nature trip - Cozy cabin in East Glacier Village. Property was in great condition. Has small dorm type fridge and microwave. No tv, but you’re supposed to be enjoying nature. Close to restaurants and Two Medicine entrance. Many Glacier entrance is about an hour
- TIMOTHY (10/5): - These little cabins are quiet, clean, well kept and very unique.
Great place to stay on the East side of the park.
- Norgard (8/5): - Pretty and immaculately clean cabins. There is a lot of noise from the highway on one side and the train tracks on the other side, though.
- Lowell (10/5): - Great stay. Highly recommend.
- Roxanne (10/5): VERY NICE cabins! - Loved it! VERY nice cabins. Neat and clean. Quiet. Good location. We will definitely stay there again when we get to that area. We really loved it!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfection - This was a random spot we booked last minute and it ended up being our favourite of the trip! These cabins are perfect for relaxing and I honestly wish we would have stayed longer here than going to some of our other stops!
- Pierre (8/5): - I would have put 5 stars but there were to
much mosquistos.
- Korey (8/5): - Nice place to stay for the night, very rustic.
- Jennie (10/5): - So peaceful and quiet here. Staff is great! Check-in was a breeze. Lodge lobby and room is beautiful! Saw wildlife outside in the evening, so that was a wonderful surprise! Would definitely stay again!
- Lois (10/5): - Cute cottage, clean, friendly staff at check in.
- Beatrice (10/5): - Charming and cozy—nicer than the website shows. This place is a gem.
- Aditya (10/5): Great Location - The Cabins are located very close to the west enterance. The place is secluded and provides ample space to relax. Yes there is a active rail track closeby but it didnt bother me much. The host were friendly and welcoming.
- kay (8/5): Travelers Rest Lodge - The cabin was well appointed & very comfortable
- Carol (10/5): - Beautiful cabin with comfortable beds, and kitchen supplies. Close to town and hikes. Hosts were delightful.

- Leroy (10/5): - Nice and Relaxing. Quiet as Montana should be
- Melanie (10/5): - Wonderful place to stop for the night… so quiet sad so dark at night to see the stars… what a hidden gem for East glacier area!!
Probably the nicest place to stay !
- Dayle (10/5): - The property was very neat & clean. We enjoyed the silence. The owners were exceptional & friendly.
- Russ (10/5): - This place is a true gem! They have 5 cabins. Each has its own decor and porch with chairs. Everything was neat and tidy, plus check in was a breeze.
The cabins are surrounded by woods.. There is a train that runs behind the cabin, but it was barely audible. This is, by far, the best place to stay in East Glacier - a short drive to Medicine Lake and less than an hour from the Many Glacier entrance. We booked for 2 nights and I wished we could have stayed for more, it was just that nice!
- William (8/5): - Cabin had no tv or air conditioning or internet but really didn’t need any and wife loved it
- Scott (6/5): - THE GOOD - The cabins are good size and very clean overall. THE BAD - The interactions with the couple operating the outfit were awkward and uncomfortable. They will peer into your vehicles at check-in if you have more than two people and proceed to charge you even though the room has a sofa bed.
- Randall (6/5): - No wyfi no tv no phone
Nice clean but hard to do all the stairs bathroom downstairs bed upstairs when you got to go in the middle of the night good luck
You just want to rest and do nothing with your kids and grandkids over the internet or not be able to watch tv then stay here the people are nice fair and honest the room very clean
- REBECCA (10/5): - We stayed here because it was pretty close to glacier national park & we absolutely loved our cabin it was very beautiful . The owners were super great as well- my partner and I locked ourselves out of our cabin and even though it was after hours they still went out of their way to get us a spare key which I truly appreciated . I definitely recommend this place .
- Pamela (10/5): - Lovely and well cared for cabin. Everything we needed for a great stay, just wish it had been longer! If you are near this lodge - BOOK IT!
- Julie (10/5): - Our cabin was absolutely fantastic. It was extremely clean, cozy and comfortable.
Because of a photo shoot we were doing, our hosts allowed us an early check in as we were not going to beck until late.
Our cabin was on the back side of the property and hearing the quiet rumble of the trains was surprisingly comforting and soothing.
It is a beautiful property and we can't wait for our next stay.
- Diana (8/5): - The room was spotlessly clean. The staff was extremely helpful since we were getting in very late.
- Michele (10/5): - I loved this place. I stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights. There was no television, but I was very content either sitting on the porch or looking at the trees through the "sky" windows. It's right outside of town-perfect location. There is a fridge microwave and coffee maker. There are other people who have said they didn't have cell service-I did-I have Verizon...
I found it so clean-everything smelled good-especially the sheets and towels!
I was sorry to leave and wished I had booked more nights with these folks. I will be back!!
- Michelle (10/5): Travelers Rest Lodge perfect for our family of 4 - Bob was a wonderful host and answered any question or concern we had. He gave us advice on where to go in the park and even sold us bear spray much cheaper than we could get it in town. Travelers Rest Lodge was the perfect location for our East Glacier visit. We would highly recommend it.
- Matthew (10/5): - On a 10-night vacation with 7 stops, this was the only place we stayed that was not a typical motel. It was the most fun and charming stay once we got past no TV. It turns out that no TV encourages family communication, reading, board games, and other cool stuff we missed at the other motels. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The hosts were a great couple. Stay here if you need a night, or a few nights on this side of Glacier.
- Darlene (10/5): - Beautiful cabin! Very clean! We was greeted by Diane and Bob when we arrived. Super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend! Location close to Glacier National park east entrance.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfort and well kept - The gentleman checking us in was quick, concise and to the point. Very friendly with an affable style. The overview of the room was all points covered.
- Tracey (10/5): - The cabin was perfect, had everything & very comfortable. It suits us well, there is a bit of traffic noise but you are amongst the tree's, it was a great stay.
- Amanda (10/5): - Quaint, clean, and wonderful customer service. We lived staying in the loft and didn't mind the stairs up. We didn't need a TV or Internet. We wanted quiet stay to enjoy nature and each other's company. It's nice to shoot on the balcony. You can see some of the Glacier mountains through the trees, if it were fall or winter you weeks have an even better view. I'd go back anytime!
- Ronda (10/5): - Very friendly, helpful, cabins were very neat and tidy, had all the comforts away from home.. very cozy.
- Myra (10/5): - Owners were lovely and very willing to share ways to make the trip enjoyable
- christine (10/5): - Lovely property with gracious hosts. Beautiful, quiet location.
- Richard (10/5): Amazing and charming - This hotel was great, amazing property, friendly staff, very clean cabin. I will stay here again.
- Ruth (8/5): - The cabin looks nice and cozy but needs wifi. Owners are really nice too
- Sean (10/5): - Great quiet lodging.
- doug (10/5): Love it! - My only wish was a cook stove or griddle but I knew it was not available upon booking. Place is beautiful- mother moose with two baby’s in the pond 50 feet away= awesome. What a great location and friendly hosts!
- Breanne (10/5): - The owners were very nice and they made us feel right at home! Beautiful property and the room was great for me and my husband!
- James (10/5): Little cabin - Enjoyed our stay with fireplace
- Johnson (10/5): Amazing stay! - Excellent!!
I give 6 stars review.
- Teresa (10/5): - This was a very unique place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We found TRL on Expedia and were very pleased when we pulled up. A pretty, grassy property with attractive, well built cabins. Ours was well appointed and comfortable. We had privacy and it was quiet, so we slept with the windows open. Run by a very friendly couple and located near the East Glacier Lodge. We highly recommend.
- Wendy (10/5): A wonderful cabin retreat - I don’t normally leave reviews, but wanted to because this was a wonderful cabin experience. My husband and I were able to easily enjoy Going to the Sun Road after 5pm. Don’t expect WiFi, but the cabin was quaint and clean! I think ours was one of the smallest cabins—others were stand-alone and much larger!
- Yvette (10/5): Lovely spot! - Absolutely LOVELY place!! We tried to make reservations to come back but they are fully booked for the rest of the season and I can see why. I love this place and we will most certainly be back!
- Mary (10/5): Added to our top favorite places to stay! - Best cabin we have ever stayed in! We loved Bob & Diane! Gave us lots of tips for visiting Glacier National Park. Cabin has a homey feel and so clean! Loved it! On the top of our list for best accommodations!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place was by far the best place we stayed at on our 12 day trip. It was huge, clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. The Staff was very friendly, stay here!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owners are incredibly friendly. The cabin rooms are warm and inviting and cozy without being cramped. We only stayed one night but I’d stay here again and for longer. Location to east glacier is amazing!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely cabin, clean and spacious. Owners are very nice. Everything you need.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hosts. Call directly for a reservation. So friendly. Very comfortable bed in a generously sized cabin.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Diane and Bob were excellent hosts of the property. They answered all our questions, gave great suggestions on hikes (and carrying bear spray!), and made us feel so welcome and safe.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place to stay if you're visiting the area, the only downfall I could share is if you're a lite sleeper, the property is near by train tracks as is most hotels in the surrounding area. I personally had no issues and my wife and I enjoyed our stay.
- Stan (10/5): Dream cabin - So cozy a place. Great cabin design and decor. Owners were wonderfully helpful and interesting.
- Larry (10/5): Would definitely stay again! - A wonderful, comfortable place! Our one-bed cabin was very small, like a large studio, and very cozy. Heated by a gas fireplace which was more than sufficient. We got over a foot of snow in late May, and the cabin was the perfect place to be!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cute and clean cabin with gas fireplace and big front porch. We were lucky with the weather and had a chance to enjoy evening drinks on the porch.
You should know though, there is no cell signal (T-Mobile), no internet and no TV. We drove around “town” looking for a signal or wi-fi with no luck. In the off-season (mid-May), there was only one restaurant open. It has terrible Mexican food.
Bring a good book, something you can microwave for dinner, your favorite drinks and relax.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gorgeous views of the mountains, very quiet, cozy cabin with a gas fireplace, super comfortable bed and extremely kind and helpful hosts.
- Kimberly (10/5): Great Getaway Cabin! - Awesome place to stay. Attendants were very friendly and attentive. The cabin was perfectly decorated and clean. The porch was a great bonus! Loved sitting on it looking at the Mountain View. We will definitely go back when we are in the area. There was no television, however there was plenty of books and magazines in the room to keep you occupied.
- James (10/5): Get Away to East Glacier National Park - Amazing beautiful cottage in the aspwn grove. Great view of Rocky Mountains.
- Steve (10/5): Perfect - Very comfortable cabin and welcoming hosts. I highly recommend calling ahead before booking. The Covid restrictions on the res present some additional challenges.
- Jane (10/5): On the road again - I can not say enough good things about this place. What a gem this resort is. Owners live on site and make sure that every detail to your stay is perfect. Everything was inviting, comfortable, and clean. Wish I would have been able to stay longer.
