Guest Reviews
- Jong (4/5): - Room photos and Room service description is not correct.Requested 2 beds but gave us one double side bed. Property manager insisted that that is queen size. No wife, No daily service.
- Sherry (4/5): - Shower handle was broken and nearly scalded me. Sink wouldnt drain. Bugs in the cabin. No host on site to talk with about the issues. Oh, and trains all night long, blaring horns, so no sleep. Not an idealic little chalet.
- Patty (6/5): - Nice place, cute cabins, does not have a full kitchen, has a microwave & very small fridge. Mold on the bottom of the shower curtain with very strong smell.
- Gary (10/5): - Had a great weekend, accommodations were great!
- Jenny (6/5): - Everything is ok beside uncomfortable mattress
- Taylor (10/5): - Cozy Warm Stay!
- Jane (8/5): - Overall our stay at Silverwolf Log Resort was good and we'd stay there again. The cabin felt safe and was quiet. Some mornings the breakfast offerings disappeared within the first 1/2 hour. Our cabin had an overpowering perfume/cleaner smell that eventually dissipated but was off putting at first. Still would recommend it as a good place to stay. Very close to the park!
- Jon S (8/5): - Stayed 4 nights at the Silverwolf and would stay there again. Very nice, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Gas fireplace heated the room quickly. Bathroom had adequate storage. Close to Glacier NP and to several small towns with gas/grocery stores/laundry/restaurants. Spotty wifi (not really un-expected in the mountains). Ice was provided and room had a coffee pot. Had a very small TV at ceiling height far from the bed (not a big deal since we there to disconnect from the world a few days).
- linda (2/5): Not trustworthy - I booked the hotel mainly because it said breakfast included. There is none! Only some cold snacks and small apples. The person in front of me asked for milk. The front desk went inside brought out one small bottle of milk. I said I need one too. She said that is the last bottle of the milk. And she said normally people don’t only use the milk to mix cereals, not for drinking! No eggs, no milk, but claimed they provide breakfast?!
- Mary (6/5): - Clean. Noisy- train whistle all night. No house cleaning services. No WiFi.
- Laura (10/5): - Nice staff and cozy decor made it a memorable stay!
- Brian (10/5): Convenient stay in Coram - Close to West Glacier entrance. Tidy cabin in quiet location. As advertised. Just right for short stay for a couple.
- David (10/5): - Really cute cabins. Comfortable
- Ashok (6/5): Lackadaisical staff - Morning breakfast and coffee arrangements were poor. Just one carafe was provided. Staff had to be reminded before another carafe was provided but not before hours passed. The promise of a packed breakfast for those checking out early was false.
- Jennifer (8/5): - This property is great, but the communication with the resort was horrible, I left two messages and never did get a call back. Also, do not count on the breakfast.
- Mark (10/5): - For staying outside Glacier National Park, this place is very nearby the west entrances. Approximately 5 or 6 miles. These cabins are a decent distance off of Hwy 2. We noticed other cabin rentals that are only 200 ft off of Hwy 2, therefore resulting in less privacy and more road noise.
- Michelle (8/5): - We liked the unique cabin that was located near the west park entrance. Unfortunately it was 91 degrees when we got there so the windows had to be open all night. The ceiling fan was super helpful and it did drop to the 50 s overnight. But we didn’t expect the trains to be so close and run all night. Surprisingly I slept through them on the third night. There was fresh coffee and pastries etc. available each morning which was very nice. Even bear spray to borrow for the day. Would consider staying again
- Ross (8/5): Comfortable stay close to Glacier... - The log cabin was comfortable and clean. The only downside is the proximity to the highway and the trains that would come by every few hours. The location is excellent with easy, quick access to Glacier National Park.
- Karen (10/5): - Wonderful cabin. Loved sitting on the front porch. Close to the West entrance of Glacier. The room was roomy and the bed was comfy. Great place!
- Michael (8/5): - Cabin was clean and comfortable. The only thing that kept my rating from Excellent was the toilet seat was about to come off and the sink stopper was broken and you had to lift it out to drain sink.
- Mary (8/5): - These cabins are so cute. The front porch and chairs were perfect for happy hour.
- Cali (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here. The little cabins are so beautiful and cozy. It was perfect for our honeymoon. It is so close to the park which was so convenient. If we ever come back to the Glacier area again we will definitely be staying here again!!!
- john (10/5): - The cabin was absolutely adorable, the stars at night were beyond magical. The only thing i wish is that they have a bigger ceiling fan or oscillating fan. Other wise this cabin is 10/10
- Kim (10/5): Excellent!! - We had a very nice experience. The room was very clean. When we needed something they took care of it. It’s was quite there and the stars were amazing. Thanks!!
- MELISSA (10/5): - Chalet/cabin was clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Check-in was easier than expected: the website said there was not an office on property and instructions would be sent. However, there is an office and a very pleasant gentleman checked me in and provided helpful info
- Karen (10/5): - The log cabins were very nice and practical. They had a microwave and small refrigerator. There is no air conditioning but the cabins are in a shaded area so we opened the windows at night. Nice location within minutes of the West Glacier Park entrance. When the train came thru at nighttime, the train whistle was loud, but otherwise a very pleasant area.
- Eibhlin (8/5): - Lovely setting, but the cabins were not that clean. We asked for extra pillows, but they claimed they did not have any. Getting soap, etc was also difficult.
- Stephen (10/5): - Nice separate cabins
- David W Van (10/5): - Quiet
- Nicole (10/5): Cute little cabi - Our stay was great! Everyone very friendly. These are very nice and clean little cabins very close to the West Glacier entrance. Would definitely stay here again
- Krista (10/5): - The cabins were extremely clean and super cute and cozy! Would definitely stay again
- Ming-Yang (8/5): - Except for the hot water issue, which remained to be lukewarm at best, it is everything it advertised. Excellent log cabins.
- vicki (8/5): - I would prefer to have a larger frig, and the microwave up higher on the shelf.
- Suzanne (8/5): - Incredibly beautiful cabin, well built, well appointed. Comfortable bed, porch, TV, etc. very convenient for the West entrance to Glacier; lots of dining and other options nearby. While more off the road than some, it is still a bit noisy due to the road and trains- maybe inevitable in West Glacier/Coram.
- Marina (10/5): - food options
- Mark (10/5): - Clean , Great Location, Easy Check In
Would highly recommend .
- Larry (8/5): - Place was excellent but noisy with traffic and trains
- PETER (10/5): - A great property! Very pleasant, very clean , very comfortable.
- John (6/5): - We got no room service during our 3-night stay: not even clean towels. No one was on site on property to even ask for towels, coffee. I expected more for 1,000 bucks!
- barbara (8/5): - Cute cabin. A bit warm ... could have used a portable fan to move the cool evening air through the cabin. Bed just average.
Very nice and helpful person at the desk. All in all would recommend and would stay there again.
- Susan Ott (8/5): - Nice wood cabins and very clean and neat. Check in was by getting an envelope with a map to the cabin, which worked out, might have been harder after dark.
As in many places, only one easy chair.
Limited electric outlets for recharging stuff, we had to use the one in the bath.
Very close to the National park.
- Sandra (8/5): - The place is really cute. They need to change the shower curtain since the bottom is kinda orange looking. They need to weed the area around the cabins. There was no creamer for the coffee or stirrers. Really did enjoy the peace and quiet
- Aileen (10/5): - Chalet was perfect for our stay. It was charming and clean, an ideal location to for our visits to Glacier Park. Jason was easily accessible and other staff were friendly and helpful. A definite A+ lodging experience in a cozy log cabin! We loved it and highly recommend to all!!!!
- Caspian (10/5): - What an amazing little cabin. Most cozy and comfortable bed imaginable.
- Karl (10/5): - Such a peaceful quiet place, would stay here again, anytime
- Sharon (10/5): - Loved the atmosphere
- Scott (10/5): - We had an issue at check in but called, and it was quickly solved. Very spacious room, and compared to the other places to stay was a good value.
- Roger (10/5): SilverWolf - Cover your needs very well from comp pastries, coffee, milk, etc in the morning to ice & hair dryer & other nicities! I probably like a firmer mattress than others.
- KIMBERLY (10/5): - We loved this place! The cabin was quaint and clean. The bed was comfortable. The only downside was the shower head was broken and there was a train that went all night. The train is not their fault and they were going to take care of the shower. The setting was beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.
- Mary (10/5): - Great country setting of the beaten path. Clean.
- Robin (10/5): - Lovely place in an awesome location. Minutes from Glacier.
- Dale (6/5): Saggy uncomfortable bed. - It is a nice quite cabin, clean, great shower and easy access. The only reason I will not stay there again is, the mattress and box spring were worn out. (Really important for a good night's sleep) the first time I sat on bed it almost sank to the floor.
- Mary (10/5): - There were 12 one-room cabins on the property, and they are as homey and rustic as can be! It seems as if the cabins and their furnishings are all made on the premises. The staff was very welcoming, and provided breakfast items and ice. Can't say enough about how cute the cabins are, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Oh, and reasonably priced, too.
- Brett (8/5): - Close to park
- Lynn (10/5): - I loved the decoration in our cabin. It truly felt like a mountain chalet!
- Ernest (8/5): - Great location and super clean. However the mattress is terrible - crater in the middle of it.
- Russell E. (10/5): - It was everything they said it would be.
- Russell E. (10/5): - It was everything they said it would be.
- Susan (10/5): - We had a great time even if there was a snafu with my reservation. They took care of everything.
- FAY (6/5): - Cabin was well setup, but did not offer housekeeping as they claimed. Time to change that ultra soft, lumpy mattress!
- Laura (10/5): - Comfortable cabin
- Bud (8/5): - The chalets are charming log cabins with atmospheric old west decor. The gas stove is not only a great source of heat but also adds to the cabin feel.
- Stanley (2/5): - I ask for new towels. I left 2 voice messages and an email. Those folks blew it off.
- Clinton (10/5): - Very quiet! Exactly what was needed for a week at the park. Only 5 minutes or so from the entrance!
- Allan (10/5): - Beautifully maintained. Friendly and helpful owners.
- steven (8/5): - We had cabin #10. Very charming. Recommend for people who want an alternative to chain motels and relax on a deck in a natural environment. Cabin had coffee maker
very nice fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast (coffee, tea, muffins)
- paula (2/5): - I’ve not had any message of how to get in and do don’t know how to do it. Currently outside 😩
- Lisa (10/5): - Great location with ready access to Glacier National Park, and Hungry Horse Dam.
Cute cabins with every thing we needed. Comfortable beds.
- Nancy (8/5): - It was a cute cabin and had a cute theme throughout. If we stay again, we will ask for a more quiet cabin that is not on the edge of the property.
The laundry detergent scent was way too overpowering.
- Chiara (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay here. The cabins were very clean and comfortable and very cute. The owner was very nice, we would definitely come back again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a wonderful, relaxing stay. Cabin was clean and comfortable, owners very pleasant, good continental breakfast options. I would highly recommend
- Irma (8/5): - nice
- Mary (10/5): - Close to Glacier NP. Cozy and so cute! A sweet retreat after a day of hiking. Comfy bed and quiet! I loved the little gas heater. Not a full kitchen but the microwave and fridge were great.
- Conrad (10/5): - Comfortable and clean property with a rustic feel. Convenient location close to Glacier.
- Douglas (10/5): - Clean, friendly staff, nice location.
- Mandy (10/5): - Absolutely loved this place!!! Could not have asked for better accommodation so close to Glacier Park entrance. Our little cottage was quaint and cute and had everything we needed. Loved all the little touches in the gardens - tiny streams and little cabins. Donna at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and even went out of her way to pack us a basket so we didn’t go hungry in the park. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
If we ever travel this way again I am coming here to stay again
- Martha (8/5): - Cabin was beautiful. Breakfast was a disappointment.
- Timothy D. (10/5): - Need to advertise that the breakfast is muffins and coffee.
- Alice (8/5): - It’s a lovely log cabin with basic amenities. The staff is very friendly. The cabin was comfortable for a solo traveler.
- calvin (6/5): - We were surprised at how loud the trains were at night. We did not expect that so it was a distraction at night.
Also it says ‘breakfast ‘ is included. Breakfast consisted of a tray of be muffins in the office.
No one was in the office when we arrived. The key was in the room. No one around when we left as well. I had to call a few times to get a receipt emailed to me.
- Erin (10/5): - Lovely little property close to Glacier! Great cabin for home base when hiking all day. Just note, there's no A/C. It was fine for me because it cooled off quite a bit at night, but I can see where sometimes it could get stuffy.
- Jon (10/5): - Really neat cabins in a cool setting close to west entrance. Mattress was pretty soft. Nice fire pit in gazebo but only large logs, no kindling or starter.
- Gerald (10/5): - Could not have chose a better place to stay
- John (8/5): - Easy to find, comfy bed, roomy cabin, very quiet till a train goes by and nice and close to park entrance. I would stay there again.
- Janice (8/5): - Like close to park and cabin interior. Did not like overall maintenance of exterior and unavailable office staff.
- tim (10/5): - It was a really nice cabin with bathroom/shower, worked perfect for our visit to Glacier National Park.
- Warren (10/5): - Very nice little cabin
- Joe (10/5): - Very accessible right off the highway. Very pleasant staff
- Rich (10/5): - Great location for going to Glacier National Park. Cabins are nice and contained everything I needed except had a poor internet signal so could not use the wifi.
- Kelly (10/5): - Very beautiful and peaceful. Location to GNP entrance was awesome.
- Michele (8/5): - Lovely private cottage with comfortable bed and a unique heated stove that was thermostat controlled. Upon arrival there was a friendly person to get us checked in and let us know about parking etc.
We had difficulty closing and opening the door....cabin 3. We also found the showerhead very poor and difficult to control...the water pressure was so strong that more water ended up on the walls and the floor than on the person inside the shower. It would have helped to have access to coffee stirs / coffee cup lids / napkins and/or plasticware or something similar given the availability of the coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave in the room. Had a spill and couldn't clean up coffee easily without using towels!
While the office was unlocked and provided a few continental breakfast items (muffins / snack bars), there was never anyone in the office to ask questions or make request. Even upon checking out it wasn't clear where to leave the key so we just set it on the counter.
- Carolyn (8/5): - We loved the private cabin. Decorated well and convenient to GNP. The breakfast was small, and left in the office to take what you wanted on your way out each morning. Fresh coffee, frozen muffin to heat in cabin, granola bars and fresh fruit if desired. When the temp hit 85 degrees one day we asked how the Honeywell thermostat on our cabin wall worked and were told it wasn’t hooked up as there was no a/c! It was a bit deceiving but the temperature was nice except for that one day! Good experience for the most part!
- James (10/5): - Everything was great except he Wi-Fi was poor and the tv stations were very limited.
- Sherrie (10/5): Trip of a life time - The cabin was no cutie, super great staff. Very nice area close to Glacier.
Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not really breakfast.
Coffee and only a muffin.
Loved sitting on the porch in the evening and drinking my coffee.
- Alicia (10/5): - Perfect location and accommodations. I did think we were getting two twin beds but that was not available. However, they were very helpful in getting us a cot and bedding for together. Would love to go back one day!!
- Veronica (10/5): - What a charming cabin! It was very roomy and sooo cozy. Very clean and modern in its furnishings. I loved the fireplace heating especially on the very chilly rainy day that turned into quite cold snow at Logan’s Pass on our Red Bus tour.
- Stephanie (10/5): - It was very nice. I didnt know there was coffee available in the office until I checked out.
- Deborah L (8/5): - It was a neat, rustic cabin with plenty of room for two. Electricity went out due to a storm but was restored pretty quick actually. Not the most comfortable chairs inside. Very nice front porch area.
- Lora (6/5): - It was a nice place blister to GNP. However the bathroom toilet ran all night. Over priced for what you receive.
- Kathleen (10/5): Lovely Cabins - What a lovely place to stay near Glacier. Well furnished and clean, comfortable cabins. Perfect respite after a day in the park.
