• Laura (8/5): Great location, great staff - The staff were the best thing about this hotel. They were so friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. The room, although small, was comfortable and clean. The room was very small, and could do with a refresh, but it was fine just for sleeping.

• Christopher (7/5): Gute Lage / Suboptimale Sauberkeit - Die Lage ist für Leute, die viel rumkommen wollen ideal, da HBF direkt in der Nähe. Eine Menge gute Restaurants direkt vor der Tür. Fenster isolieren Lärm sehr gut, empfehle dennoch oberen Stockwerke zu buchen. Bett empfand ich als sehr bequem. Das Hotel ist ziemlich abgenutzt. Die ganzen Teppiche in Flur & Treppenhäuser abgetreten. Sauberkeit im Zimmer wirklich suboptimal. Duschköpfe verkalkt und verschimmelt. Decke und Fugen im Bad auch mit Schimmelflecken. Tiefe Dellen im Boden und Stockflecken hier und da. Einige renovierungsbedürftige Stellen im Zimmer. Man kann sich arrangieren, aber echter Wohlfühlfaktor nicht gegeben.

Su ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca de la estación de tren y a un paseo de 10 minutos del lago, por lo que también te cae cerca (20-30 minutos) muchas cosas que visitar. No tengo nada negativo que decir.

In the room the noise from the fridge and air condition was loud. And the noise from the neighbour room was audible.

• Emily (5/5): Only if you have no other choice - Fair breakfast. Clean. Very close to the train station. We paid for a palace but the return was two very simple, old and unmaintained rooms. There was no attempt to beautify them by any means. Even the view from the window was to an ugly alley.... do not fall for the nice pics, it is not like that. The receptionist was unpleasent as well, but it felt like it goes with the general atmosphere of not caring about the guests. If you have to stay there (it was the ONLY option we had in Geneva for some reason) - stay. Otherwise - don't.

• Arzu (9/5): Great location & stay! - We had a great stay at Hôtel des Alpes in Geneva. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in early, which we really appreciated after traveling. Initially, we were given a room that wasn’t in the best condition, but after mentioning it to the staff, they immediately took action and changed our room. We were very happy with how quickly and professionally they handled the situation. The rest of our stay was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, and everything felt clean and cozy. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of options. We did miss having a few more vegetables available, but overall it was still enjoyable, you can’t have everything! The location is excellent: just a few minutes’ walk to the city center and very close to the train station, which made getting around extremely easy. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would definitely consider coming back. /

J’étais à l’hôtel avec ma mère, et malheureusement elle s’est blessée pendant notre séjour. Il nous a tout de suite aidées, avec une bienveillance et une humanité rares. • Leonard (8/5): We were very happy here for a short break holiday. - We thought the location of this hotel was excellent, very close to the main station and within easy walking distance of the lake. There are plenty of restaurants close by which gave us a choice of menus in the evenings. The staff were friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast had enough variety for us and we enjoyed sitting watching the world go by as we ate it.

• Paulo (7/5): Très bonne option à Genève. - L'accueil à été agréable, et la chambre était propre et très bien équipée. L'emplacement est magnifique, vraiment proche de la gare et du centre ville. Le petit-déjeuner était simple, cependant varié. Le rapport qualité-prix est très bon. L'insonorisation n'est pas parfaite, les bruits dans le couloir étaient en effet un peu dérangeants. En effet, il semblait y avoir un problème avec la porte de la chambre, qui ne fermait pas à 100% (mais restait verrouillée évidemment). Les matériels de la chambre sont un peu datés, cependant la chambre était entretenue avec soin.

• Nicole (10/5): Séjour confortable entre la gare de Cornavin et le lac - L’accueil à la réception a été extraordinaire. On nous a même donné 2 clés car nous n’avions pas les mêmes horaires. L’accès à la chambre est très facile même la nuit grâce à un boîtier extérieur. La chambre est moderne et confortable. Elle donne sur la rue des Alpes, mais elle est bien isolée du bruit. Nous n’avons passé qu’une seule nuit à l’hôtel mais nous reviendrons sans aucun doute et nous recommandons l’hôtel des Alpes aux voyageurs qui veulent être dans une chambre confortable, au centre de Genève pour un coût raisonnable.

All amenities were available, public transport was very convenient, and we could easily walk to the Christmas market. Everything was within walking distance. The place was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
