- Marco (7/5): Ideal place for large groups if you want to be close to the train station - The space Kitchen could be better fournished
Parking compris. Rien.
- Marco (10/5): Perfetto, staff accogliente - Ordinata pulita grandissima accogliente Nulla
- Marc (10/5): little gem near the centre of Padua - booked to stay in this hotel in Padua as it has excellent reviews
after booking, i was contacted by Filippo, and have to say he was very commutative and very helpful,
the apartment was excellent and you can see that every thought had been put into making this residence superb for guests
could be one of the nicest apartments i have stayed
i drove to Padua and there was garage parking which was very helpful
Venice and Verona is a short train ride away and the station is a stones throw from the apartment
would highly recommend and would stay again
Grazi Fillipo and Family for a lovely stay
Garage Interparking Stazzione in 5min Entfernung. Mille grazie a Filipo e tutti la familia. Nix
- Bernadette (10/5): Very clean and beautifully decorated property with helpful, very welcoming host. Highly recommended! - Very clean and spacious apartment with fantastic facilities and a very welcoming host. Filippo loves Padova and loves having people to visit his town. He has prepared a great guide to the City and explains everything to ensure that his guests have a great time. He is very generous and the property is very well equipped.
He goes out of his way to ensure his guests have a great stay.
Property is an easy walk from the train station and on all the main bus routes and within an easy walk of the main attractions.
This is a great place to stay.
- Dennis (10/5): Amazing stay at Casa Camilla City - This is one of the largest and well-kept apartments you will ever rent in Italy. The host was very responsive with clear, detailed communications before check in, and provided excellent suggestions during our stay. The apartment was spotless and included coffee, bottled water, and even had voltage adapters you could borrow. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi were excellent. The apartment is conveniently located adjacent to the train station and main bus terminal, and walking distance to most attractions (Padova is very walkable). While there always tends to be a lot of people around a train station, the surrounding area was surprisingly clean and we didn't have any problems and never felt unsafe. This property exceeded my expectations. Nothing.
- Clare (10/5): Excellent, clean, professional and welcoming - The location was close to everything
- Julee (10/5): - Great apartment and super friendly host. Thank you for all the wonderful information about Padova
- Phillip (10/5): Wonderful host and property -
- Troy (10/5): Awesome apartment - Our family loved this apartment. Parking was great and outside of the ZTL. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, and close to the main sites. The host was awesome. Meeting him to get the keys was super easy, and he was extremely gracious in providing great recommendations of places to see and go. The security at the apartment complex is very good.
- Gabriele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Spacious comfortable appartment - Spacious appartment, located near train station, very well connected by public transport. Garage available to park your car. Friendly owners, fast communication. I can only recommend and would return when visiting Padova again.
- Maite (10/5): - Appartamento molto ampio e pulito. La famiglia che lo gestisce molto disponibile.
- Rafael (9/5): Great property for your stay in Padoba - Great stay. Fantastic location if you wish to comute to Venice. The property is huge and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores around. Parking is conveniently located.
- Ante (10/5): Clean, nicely decorated, great location - Excellent location as well as the host. fully equipped apartment. Fillipo is a great host who explained everything to us about city. recommendation for this apartment and location. everything is neat and clean
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (9/5): We stayed in Padova for two nights and did a day trip to Venice. We were able to walk to see the sights of Padova and ac - Very close to train station and easy to find. Was very clean and well presented Nothing
- Jeannette (9/5): Beautiful apartment in an interesting city. - Filippo is a superb host. He met us to show us where to park (secure garage) and then took us to the beautiful apartment for a quick explanation of the facilities and a helpful explanation of the sights of the city (map and lots of leaflets). We stayed 6 nights and found it quiet and cool with the excellent air conditioning. Some people have mentioned the people in the streets outside, there is a community centre on the same road helping the people that need it. They can talk loudly but the apartment is well soundproofed and they had no interest in us.
It is a fabulous base as it's so close to the train station and Padua is very walkable. Venice is a short train journey (4.80 euros each way and automated ticket machines) and we drove south to Modena for Balsalmic vinegar and Ferraris (2 hours away). Most of our time was spent exploring Padua, a beautiful city with a multitude of Churches and the fascinating Scrovengi Chapel, a historic university (very interesting tour) and if you like your coffee go to Steampower.
When we returned the keys to Filippo he was very kind and gave us suggestions for our journey to Venice airport as we had several hours spare - the Villas were great and we did get some cheese- thank you for everything!! Only one thing is not clear on Booking.com. An oven is listed but it's a combination microwave oven. There is an excellent hob.
A couple of tea towels would be useful.
- Emma (9/5): Great owner and lovely apartment - The apartment was lovely and super quiet. The location was close to the center and near all the main attractions. Padua is not big so it was easy to walk to the places we wanted to visit. The check in was easy and we received loads of tips about what to do and advice about where to eat. Private parking saved us from having to leave the car on the street.
- Mark (10/5): OMG this was a perfect fit for our needs - We thought the whole experience was fantastic. My wife and I had a wonderful time in Padova and would return if we could immediately. The apartment was exactly what we needed as it was close to town and right near the train station for day trips to Verona and Venice. It fit our needs perfectly. Filippo was awesome and we would absolutely recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a great home base on vacation. Filippo recommended places to see and places to eat. The apartment had so many carefully thought amenities and pretty much everything you need is already there. We don't really have anything that we did not like.
- Calum (10/5): A great stay in Padova in a lovely convenient apartment. - Filippo was an excellent host when we arrived who greeted us with such enthusiasm and knowledge for his city of Padova. The apartment is lovely, spacious and conveniently located for both the train station and to explore the city. We were fortunate enough to check out at his family's B&B close by and enjoyed a great breakfast there too. We couldn't ask for more.
- Rex (8/5): Filippo is the best host we’ve ever encountered in our years of travel. - Great location, very near to the train station and in easy walking distance to the city.
Very secure building and apartment.
Very spacious and comfortable.
Excellent bed.
Very well equipped. Cannot think of anything.
- Paul (9/5): Very enjoyed - Spotlessly clean with all you could ask for
Very convenient location near the bus and train stations Nothing really
- Jane (8/5): Lovely host, spacious , clean but maybe should have booked nearer town and further from the station - The large size and the very helpful host . Easy walk to everything. I didn’t feel very safe in the neighbourhood with youths hanging around at night outside the apartment , probably normal for many cities near a railway station .
- Ian (10/5): Great apartment in a great city. Padua definitely needs more than a few days so we’ll have to come back - Fantastic host met us in the street and led us to dedicated private parking space in the same building. Gave us lots of brochures and advice on the best things to see do and eat. Filippo clearly loves Padua/Padova and his enthusiasm is infective.
The apartment is about 1km easy walk in a straight line to the historic city centre.
Very well equipped, spacious, clean and quiet apartment. Older style but very beautiful.
Close to train and bus stations and supermarket nearby.
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional - Very clear communication, prior and during stay. Loads of local advice given.
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious, comfortable, clean apartment, great location near the station, excellent host
- Oswyn (10/5): Awesome 2 bdrm flat 5 minutes walk away from the Padova train & bus station. Great for families! - Filippo met us at the property at the exact time of our arrival, and helped us with our baggage. He was very kind and helpful. He also provided great tips for our stay in Padova, along with restaurant suggestions and travel brochures
- Sonia (9/5): Very large and comfortable apartment close to city Centre with lock up garage. - The apartment was very roomy with a large living area and large bedrooms. It was centrally located and easy walking distance to il centro. As we had a hire car the lock up garage which was located in the basement was very convenient for us. The apartment was a short walk to the railway station. There were many African youths hanging about the street outside the apartment every night. Although we weren’t directly affected by the youths we found them very intimidating as most of them were smoking illicit substances.
- Vasja (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful few days in Padua . Filippo was an exceptional host . He takes great pride in the city of Padua and was very welcoming and attentive. I would have no hesitation in returning to Casa Camille City if I returned to Padua.
A great find !!
- Paula (10/5): Great spot to explore Padova .Our host was exceptionally obliging going to great lengths to make our stay wonderful - Very spacious and comfortable
- Willy (9/5): Lovely apartment near railway station. - The apartment was big, has 2 bedrooms, one sleeps 4, the other 2. Kitchen with most utensils, italian coffeemaker, and Nespresso machine with some cups provided.wxtra pillows provided for beds. The beds were comfortable. It is a good location depending on where you need to be. Very close to railwaystation, ideal for making daytrips. It costs 30 min and 5 euro to get into the centre of Venice, Vicenza is only 16 min away. The host is great and helpful and clearly loves Padua! The location, although convenient is on a big street and there are dozens of young Africans hanging around doing shady stuff. Police came once to arrest some fighting people.Altogether doable but be warned.
- Janet (9/5): Superb -
- Marzena (10/5): Very enjoyable stay. - Great apartment, very spacious, clean, everything was great. Our host and his family were very nice and helpful. Philip told us everything to see in Padua and how best to move around the city and its surroundings. The apartment in the center of Padua allowed you to get everywhere on foot. The train station from where you can get to, for example, Venice or Verona was 300 meters from the apartment. Italian styl and spacious and the host of course
- Ian (10/5): A comfortable and convenient apartment operated by an attentive and responsive owner. - The accommodation is spacious, safe, secure, clean and very close to the train station. A warm welcome (and arrivederci at the end of the stay) from the (flexible) apartment owner Filippo. The apartment is well-resourced with lots of information on Padova and the region for visitors. The kitchen is well equipped and it's great to see a kettle and tea bags. The shower is large.
- Dennis (9/5): Superb -
- Traveler_p (10/5): Great experience! - Filippo is an exceptional host! He shares his passion for Padova with his guests via a detailed presentation upon arrival and a written guide with local insider information. We very much enjoyed each of the restaurants he recommended. The location is within walking distance of all sites of interest in the old town, and the apartment is clean and spacious with modern amenities. Free access to secure underground parking was very helpful, and a lift from the parking area direct to the apartment floor made handling luggage very easy. We had a great stay!
- Zyskowski (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suzanne (9/5): Padover has many wonders, come and see for yourself. - Fillipo met us at the front door of the building which is a 3 minute walk from Padova Train Station. He took us to the apartment and explained how everything worked. All the facilities were very clean and comfortable. Fillipo said he tried to imagine what he would need or want in our position and provided those things, such as a washing machine, detergent, a clothes airier, an iron and an ironing board. Then he showed his other amazing talent and explained the wonders of Padova. His written guide with local insider information provided us a challenging task to see or experience as many things as possible in the time we had. We did not realise how far ahead bookings were made for The Scrovegni Chapel and Museum. Everything is in walking distance but public transport is easily accessed too. Fillipo also provided us with some recommendations on where to eat. A group of African men talked loudly most of the night (each night) and the sound carried into the apartment despite double glazed windows on that side of the apartment, they seemed to hang out across the street from the apartment.
- Kathleen (3/5): completely overpriced and scary. - Fillipo was very friendly and took his time to show us the apartment as well as mark out landmarks on the map and send us restaurant recommendations. His Father met us early the next day so we could get on the road. They are nice people. The Apartment t is right by the station in a really rough area of town. We could see many drug dealers out our window as well as loitering around our porch gambling when we returned to the apartment t after Dinner. Someone was making crazy loud noises in the hallway late at night and even though our car was in a gated parking garage, we still were concerned about the security of our car.
It was not an ideal situation at anytime, but it was especially scary when traveling with kids.
- Niccolò (9/5): Superb -
- Egle (10/5): very spacious - The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It was a good location, near the train and bus stations. The apartment is spacious.
- Terry (9/5): Superb - Filippo was excellent with hospitality, communication before & during with helpful arrival directions & photos for parking access. No ZTL issues. Lockup car park in the building and lift access to apartment so no luggage hassles. Supermarket around the corner in the main street about 5 minute walk. Easy walking distance to the city. Apartment was clean, quiet, comfortable plus a washing machine. Thank you Filippo for a lovely stay and all the bonus touring information of Padua.
- Matko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fraga (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent! The location, the apartment and the host! The flat is very big and clean, 5min on foot from the city center. Filippo is an excellent host, easy to communicate and gave us many useful tips about the city. Highly reccommended!
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daliah (10/5): Exceptional - Our host fillipo was a real super host. He went out of his way to make us feel at home. He took time to direct us and advise us not only about the apartment but also about our trip.
The apartment itself was impecable.
Attention to every little detail.
This is a family run apartment and they put their heart and soul into it
Would definitely recommend
- Ane (10/5): Spacious apartment with garage in Padova - • The apartment was very spacious and it had plenty of natural light.
• Every room had an AC unit and double glazing windows to keep the apartment cool and quiet from the outside noise.
• Bathroom with huge shower, good water pressure and necessary amenities.
• Comfortable couches and TV with Netflix.
• Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and free water bottles and coffe capsules on arrival.
• Private garage in the building accesible by lift.
• Estrategicaly located next to the train station and close to every point of interest in the city.
• Filippo gave us detailed information previous to our arrival. When we got to the apartment he had a map prepared with the most important places to visit during our stay. He gave us a little introduction about Padovas history and that made us even more excited to explore the city!
• At check out we got to meet Renato, Filippos father, who gave us a gift on the families behalf that we really appreciated.
• If you are looking for a place to stay in Padova, search no more, you won’t find better value for money!
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional! - First time I’m handing out 10/10:
With a family of 3, we were looking for a (comfortable) place letting us visit both Padua and Venice in a convenient way.
Arriving by car, we had free access to a secured underground garage, easily accessible from the apartment.
The apartment is located near the train station, which is interesting when wanting to travel to Venice by train (train ride takes 28 min to get to the center of Venice).
Regarding the host, no complaints whatsoever! Filippo is correct, attentive and very reactive (he would usually answer our questions in minutes, throughout our stay).
Our host would also have a (personalized) list of instructions ready before arrival (train schedules, places to visit in Padua, restaurants,…), something we could only appreciate.
Last but not least Filippo showed his generosity, when inviting us for breakfast the day of our departure.
With respect to the apartment: The apartment is clean, spacious, safe, very well insulated against street noise, goes equipped with 3 air conditioning units (in each bed rooms and the dining/sitting room) and all listed amenities worked properly.
In a nutshell, definitely a place where we would happily return
- Philippe (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place, you can walk or take the tram
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very central if you wish to move around the region. It is opposite of the station
- Jesse (10/5): - The apartment is very clean and spacious and a quick walk to train station and to the heart of Padova. The host was very nice and professional and met me at the train station to help me with my bag. The front of the unit faces the street so is a bit noisy but the back bedroom is very quiet.
- Renu (10/5): - Beautiful and tastefully decorated , quiet apartment, fully equipped with all necessities.
Great hospitality.
Enjoyed the stay
Garage parking was a plus.
- Alana (10/5): Amazing apartment with fabulous service! - Filippo and his family are very welcoming. We had great communication with him before arrival . We checked in at their B&B location to make it easier. We had caffe with Filippo and his dad before we followed Filippo to the “city” location of the apartment where we had secure parking in a private garage for our car. Filippo showed us all aspects of the amazing, spacious apartment and gave us a detailed map with suggestions for touring during our stay. The location is excellent with it being very close to the main street and a short walk down to the main piazzas. Filippo came back the next day when we were ready to check out and helped us out of the garage.
What a fantastic apartment owned by warm and welcoming people. We highly recommend staying here.
Grazie mille Filippo. Ciao!
- Jan (10/5): Fabulous Location - Casa Camilla is in a fabulous location downtown with a garage parking space. The apartment is large, comfortable and delightful. Filippo met us at their location on the edge of town and escorted us to the apartment. He is charming and very passionate about his city. After orienting us to the apartment he spent time making recommendations of where to go and which restaurants to eat at. He loves his city and his enthusiasm shows. The apartment is within walking distance of the Giotto frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel as well as the rest of downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and recommend Casa Camilla highly.
- Tatiane (10/5): Show ! - Foi otima. O apto é incrivel. A localizacao otima. Os proprietarios uns amores e super prestativos. Voltaria a ficar la com ceteza
- Karen (10/5): Best stay ever! - Casa Camilla is family owned and operated. Filippo and his family went above and beyond to see to our comfort and answer questions about the local area. One block from the train station and within 2-3 blocks of restaurants and shopping, this large 2 bedroom apartment was comfortable with all amenities of home, decorated beautifully with early 1900 furniture accenting modern furniture. All for the price of a hotel room!! My only regret is that I didn't have time to stay and enjoy it longer. My best experience on my two week journey through Europe, was at Casa Camilla!
- Ken & Debi (10/5): Fillipo's 5-Star Apartment in Padova (near Venice) - Filippo and his entire family were super friendly and accommodating when we arrived. They welcomed us with friendly conversation and coffee! Fillipo personally guided us to his apartment to ensure we found it with no problems. His apartment was one of five we stayed in during our two-week trip to France and Italy and it was the best...by far! His apartment is exceptionally clean, well-appointed, equipped with every modern amenity and as beautiful as a palace. We were also able to park our rental car in a garage, which allowed us to enjoy our day-trip to Venice with no worries whatsoever.
- Clive (10/5): Excellent apartment in Padua - We have recently returned from a most enjoyable week in the Casa Camilla City apartment in Padua. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and only a short walk away from the railway station and bus terminus, and a 15 minute or so walk from the city centre. From the start, Filippo was extremely welcoming and helpful, as were the other members of his family whom we met during our stay. The apartment benefits from a large comfortable lounge with a dining area, 2 spacious bedrooms with huge double beds, one with a single bed, a well equipped kitchen, effective air conditioning and fast free wifi, and there is a very big smart TV attached to the lounge wall. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the owners came every other day to clean and change the towels. There are several cafés in the immediate vicinity, a pizzeria close by and a Spar supermarket in the railway station, though most restaurants are a 15-20 minute walk away. We would highly recommend Casa Camilla City for a stay in this area, which is within easy reach of Venice, Bologna, Vicenza and other place for day trips. Padua itself is a lovely city with much to see.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice apartment to staying with the family - Visited Padova for a conference, went there with the family (3 adults and 2 little girls). The apartment was recently renovated, very tastefully, all very good quality. The owner offered to meet us at the train station and helped us with the luggage, took an interpreter with him, and they were very friendly and helpful. They took every possible measure to make our stay comfortable. Location was great, near the University where the conference was held, and near Padova's main attractions.
