- Kelly (8/5): - I liked the laid back atmosphere and friendliness of staff and holidaymakers alike, convenience of walking into town, even though uphill & personally I don’t mind the walk, the frozen cocktails were fab too! Disappointed with the breakfast, not much choice, food covered in flies, bread seemed a little stale and had to pay extra for an orange juice.

- Anthony (10/5): Fabulous fortnight - We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Samira resort.The staff couldn't have done any more than they did -so helpful,friendly and courteous .We had a couple of evening meals which were delicious and breakfast was lovely too.Just a short 10 minute walk from kalkan and a £2.50 taxi back.We will definitely return

After complaining, they said that they didn't have any other room available, and we understood that they were offering rooms totally out of condition (subsoil). The door of the shower was broken, one of the glasses to drink water was broken... and no solution from their side... Also, it's far from the center and the view to the highway or parking is just not inspiring at all. never again

- Thomas (8/5): Hotel with a great pool and great view - We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it overall. Hotel is very clean and modern with a great pool area and stunning views over Kalkan. It’s a 15 min walk down to the old town and a much tougher 20 min walk back! A bonus is the bus station is only 3 mins walk away.. we went to Fethiye for just 30 TL each and Kaputas beach for only 8 TL!

But a big but the reception team apart from the lady by day & man at night were awful. Never smiled & unhelpful. Especially the owner. There is no curtesy room, other people were given keys to empty room to shower before night flight. I got the owner who said use outside shower by pool. Then Change in pool toilet. Ugh dirty wet floor making clothes wet when dressing. Other guest said it was shocking as their friends got keys to a empty room the day before. They said owner miserable man. They have been coming for years. But never again as owner so rude and unhelpful. I won’t be booking again. I can a quite guest so I have not upset them.

İlk aramamızda uygun otel odasının olmadığının söylemelerine rağmen görevli arkadaş otel odasının müsait olduğunu ve hemen hemen aynı fiyata geldiğini, ekstra bi ücret talep etmeyeceğini belirtti. Ertesi gün çıkış için resepsiyona gittiğimde -muhtemelen internet üzerinden yaptığımız ödemenin farkında olmadan- 220 lira ödeme olduğunu söyledi. İki tutarın uyumsuzluğu, ya da aradaki fark konusunda herhangi bir bilgilendirme yapılmadı. 220 liralık yerde 280 liraya konaklamış olduk. Konaklayacak kişilere tavsiyem; ödemelerinizi kontrol edin.

Das Bett alt und knatterig dass man sich in der Nacht nicht getraut hat vor lauter Lärm den Partner zu wecken.Die Matratze so dünn dass man den Lattenrost spürt. Alles nur auf englische Gäste ausgelegt.Essen trinken.Das Frühstück noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Olumsuz olarak anayoldan otele gelen kadar kısımın yolu bozyçuk hatta yol bile değil 2 arba zor geçer ve çok bayır. Otoparkı var lakin çok atıl durumda kalmış. Çok tozlu yağmur yağsa çamur ve girişi çıkışı çok zor. Bu eksilerde tamamlanırsa çok güzel otel

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Check-in was quick and easy. They charge an additional fee for a safety deposit box. We checked in at 10:30 pm and shown to our room we noticed the bathroom was not clean. The toilet was disgusting with a foul sewer smell. When we requested to change rooms the Manager adviced the maids were not able to clean our bathroom before we checked in.... again, we arrived late at night so there was no excuse for the room not being cleaned. When we switched rooms we no longer had a sea view which we paid for. The sewer smell was in the second room and the beds were horrible. The pool and buffet breakfast were nice. For the price, if the rooms were cleaned properly and the beds softer we would have been happy. Unfortunately, when trying to give feedback to the manager she just disregarded us. I do not recommend staying here.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel property was amazing the people were very friendly and would do there most to help us if we did not like something they had little issue with WiFi but was sorted out however the down fall was that the flight was awful going to the hotel we should have been coming from dalaman airport instead of Antalya airport as we had to travel 4 hours from airport to hotel where as we could have just driven less than a hour via dalaman airport. Also the Thomas cook air line maybe the work airline as they had me an my wife seating completely far away from each other also there was a flight delay due to people fighting and can’t forget the airplane moved a lot.

- Graham (10/5): Excellent location and great value - Located up the hill from Kalkan this hotel has great views over the bay. The town is a short walk downhill but suggest a taxi back as the hill is steep. Taxis are really cheap. The pool is large and immaculately maintained. We stayed in a room on the top floor of the newer building. Nice size and well appointed. Lovely balcony with a sea view. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

- Stephan (8/5): Überlegung wie man das Frühstück besser machen kan - Das Hotel ist einem sehr schönen Ort, Woman einen fantasischen Ausblick hat. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Musste aber trotzdem das Zimmer wechseln, weil im Bad tropfte Wasser von der Decke und es war nicht mehr bewohnbar. Zum Frühstück muss ich leider sagen, dass es nicht reichhaltig war und für ein Hotel, wie dieses müsste man schon mehr bieten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Yataklari çok rahatsız edici hem ses çıkartıyor gece saga sola dönemiyorsun hemde rahatlik açısından da konforsuz. Sözde hergun temizlik yapılıyor ama temizlikciler gelip sadece havlulari değiştirip cikip gidiyorlar. 5 günde aynı çarşafı kullandık hiç degistirmediler. Havuzunu çok beğendim. Onun haricinde gerisini kimseye tavsiye etmem...

De ene keer had je warm water en de andere keer koud - geen lift - niet geschikt voor kinderen - slecht bereikbaar met ov. Heuvels op en af op gebroken wegen. - eigenaren zijn zeer brutaal

- Verified traveler (2/5): Çok kötü - Tesis birkaç bloktan oluşan büyük bir tesis olmasına rağmen ilk defa geldiğimiz bu otelden kaçarak uzaklaşmak zorunda kaldık. Hayatımda ilk defa böyle birşey yaşadım, eşyalarımızı bırakıp denize gittik ve döndüğümüzde iki tane çok büyük böcek çıktı. Apar topar eşyalarımızı alıp otelden çıktık. Bunun dışında da otel müziklerini ve genel işleyişini beğenmedim. Kesinlikle profeyonel değiller.

- nicky (8/5): Good value, great for families - This is the third time we've stayed at the hotel, either in one of their rooms or villas. The staff and friendly and helpful and the location is ideal for a short walk down into the town and on Thursdays right near the market. The big pool is excellent and the children spend many hours in it, there's also table tennis and pool. The villas are excellent, with their own pool, plus barbecue area etc.

- Metin (2/5): Most expensive hotel in the area! - With coloured curtains covering the length of the windows, with mildew rotten fixtures, with more instructions pasted on the walls than military barracs, with a shameful breakfast buffet that forces you to skip this revolting experience and have it anywhere but this irrespectful property by paying extra, and completely unrelevant photos of the rooms and property; Samira is a dreadful hotel with dishonest management. As for the value goes, Samira is most expensive hotel in the vicinity.Stay away! But if you must stay, stay in B block (900 prefix rooms) especially if you are paying extra for sea view. In this block, you get some view. In other sea view rooms you get to see car park, cars, and B Block and they claim this is sea view. We had it changed after much fight! Worst experience we have had in recent years. Shameful!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst experience causing a wasted holiday! - We paid extra for sea view which we did not get. We spent a horrid night in a rotten room. We were called by reservations for "mistakenly confirming" a cheap room during Bayram when they were planning to charge higher. Since we did not and Hotels.com did of course not budge, they gave us the worst room in the hotel. Luckily other people were smarter than us and the hotel was empty during Bayram (Eid holiday period); and they were still selling same room type at same price. After putting up an unpleasant fight, we switched our room to another which is barely acceptable. Don't use their bathroom Amenities, bring your own shampoo. Breakfast is pathetically poor, no curtains, x military management with orders on the walls; rude management asking you to handle basic stuff yourself, not showing you the most basic courtesy! Probably some slave personnel from Nepal, working scheduled 12 hours shifts at normal days. Stay here if you are very rich since you get zero return for every cent spent!

- Pep (8/5): Un vero toccasana! - Due notti in questo bell'hotel appena fuori dal centro che si raggiunge all'andata in 10 minuti a piedi in discesa poi si può tornare in taxi con 5 euro. Bella stanza spaziosa e pulita e ottima piscina con vista su kalkan. Wifi scadente forse x i troppi utenti collegati.
