• Esperanza (10/5): Making plans to stop and stay at Candlewood every chance we get this summer to relax. - Unfortunately we slept so well we didn’t get up on time for breakfast. The location of this hotel is awesome and just a few steps from Walmart. Honestly everything was great, we will be back!
• Pat (2/5): - First room they sent me to was dirty and I think people were still using it. Front desk clerk was put out when I asked for another room. Next room’s TV was not working. Front desk line was busy all evening, so did without a TV. Window AC unit was leaking water, carpet was wet out in front of it. This hotel has not put any money back into itself. Overall very dingy.

• Lauri (10/5): - Great location! The front desk staff went above and beyond. Fast check in. Friendly. Also when I left I forgot something in my room and they called me within 5 mins of me checking out. I really appreciate the front desk clerk caring enough to call me. I will definitely stay here again. Also the room was super clean and had a kitchenette. I was able to go to H-E-B less than five minutes away and get food and snacks and breakfast for my two day stay. This allowed me to save money and not have to eat out. The room was extremely comfortable.
• Lindsey (2/5): We will not stay here again or recommend to anyone because of the false advertisement. - The hotel was clean overall in the lobby, halls, and bathrooms The employees were great. There were little black hairs all over the pillow cases and sheets. The tv was not working. The AC wasn’t cold. There was visible mold around the tub which I am allergic to. The WiFi would not stay connected on any device. We picked this hotel because the site said it had breakfast included. It did not. And there were signs posted saying we’d have to make our own coffee in the room where you would have to purchase pre packaged breakfast items.

• April (10/5): - I liked that the ice machine was in the Cupboard and not in the halls. I didn't feel like the floors in our room were very clean, or what they were cleaned with left a sticky/waxy residue. Staff was very accomodating and very friendly.

• Sandra (2/5): Beware of Candlewood Suites - The room was extremely dirty with pubic hair in the shower and feces in the toilet. I tried the coffee from the lobby in the morning as there want any in my room and it was terrible. Won’t ever stay here again.

• Katrina (10/5): Great 1st time stay...will definitely return! - I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms are spacious with stocked kitchenettes including stove, oven, plates and cups etc. The property also offers free use of washers and dryers for guests, although half of them were out of order so i had to wait longer for them to become available but that didn't bother me too much. Also the bed was very comfortable which was a major concern for me having had a previous back surgery. That along with both firm and soft labeled pillows made for a great night's sleep!

• Melisa (8/5): Overall...Will Stay Here Again - The hotel is located behind Walmart and very close to get a bite to eat, such as Subway and Sonic. The staff was friendly and the hotel room was clean & comfortable. Overall...I will stay here again. My qualms about the stay: 1) beds were not made when we returned to the hotel. Luckily, the bathroom is stocked with many towels. 2) No hot water when trying to shower the morning of checkout. We called the desk (using our cell because room phone was not reaching anyone) and they turned up the water heater, which saved the morning. 3) We were informed at check-in that no breakfast is offered. Not bad because Sonic, Subway, and Walmart are nearby.

• Arienne (8/5): Expected slightly better - Kind staff, nice toiletries, 24/7 gym, and free laundry was much appreciated! But ran into a few cleanliness issues upon arrival. Towels were grayed and some stained. One pillow had not just stains, but actual, brushable dirt on the pillow itself (not the cover). One plate had food stuck on, and one tea cup had stains in the bottom like it had been left to dry with tea in it.

Room was never cleaned the whole time I stayed there. Trash on my floor ( in hallway ), was never dumped, and smelled up the entire floor. Walls and ceiling had cracks in sheetrock. A/C kept shutting down. No soap or shampoo in bathroom.

Area is in the middle of nowhere. Not many restaurant options. I went to a place called 5Ds and it was OK at best. Food was way over-seasoned.
