- Aurora (10/5): - This is the riad you should choose if you want a 10/10 stay. I honestly cannot think of a single thing I would change about our experience — everything was perfect. It’s even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. Everywhere you look, the interior is absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and have everything you need. The bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep in. When we arrived by taxi, one of the staff members from the riad came to meet us and helped us with our luggage. We were then served welcome tea and cookies, which was such a lovely touch. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and helpful. I had broken the zipper on my dress, and one of the staff members even helped fix it for me. They also helped us arrange transport and activities during our stay. The women working in the kitchen were so sweet and friendly, always happy to have a chat. They made an amazing breakfast every morning with a varied selection of food. The riad was cleaned every day, so everything was spotless all the time. We got fresh towels daily, and our room and bathroom were cleaned thoroughly every day. The riad is also conveniently located and not far from everything else in the city. I promise you will not regret staying here. It is 100% worth the money!

- Worsfold (10/5): Tranquil, serene Riad with plenty of character, great staff and good location to explore the souks. - What a special Riad, beautiful walk-in pool on the ground, which is where you have the most amazing and delicious breakfasts, and meals. - Jorge (10/5): - A lovely riad in Marrakesh, set in a real local neighbourhood that makes it easy to experience the city beyond the usual tourist spots. The area is amazing to walk around and gives you a much more authentic feel of daily life, while still being just a short walk from the city centre. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything. The bedroom was very comfortable and the quality of sleep was excellent, as well as the breakfast. A great place to stay if you want comfort and a more genuine Marrakesh experience.

- Leona (10/5): - Das Riad war ein schöner Rückzugsort und das Team wie eine kleine Familie. Sie haben immer gut um alle geschaut und ware richtig herzlich. Youness und Hamouda haben viel über Marrakech und die Umgebung erzählen können und Empfehlungen abgegeben. Youness hat uns außerdem auf der Karte ein paar Restaurants empfohlen und Sehenswürdigkeiten markiert. Während unserer Zeit im Riad haben wir auch ein bisschen Arabisch gelernt, Oussama hat uns einige Wörter beigebracht. Der Tee im Riad war auch extrem gut, einmal haben wir sogar mit Youness gemeinsam Tee in der Küche gemacht. Vom Personal steht rund um die Uhr wer zur Verfügung. Das Riad ist richtig gut gelegen, man kommt überall ganz einfach zu Fuß hin. Am morgen hatten wir immer Frühstück welches von Meriem, Karema und Sara zubereitet wurde. Wirklich alle von ihnen sind richtig lieb. Es gibt auch eine Hauskatze - Lemona - welche vom Riad aufgenommen worden ist. Sehr süß! Die Dachterrasse vom Riad ist atemberaubend und hat einen echt schönen Ausblick. Zusammengefasst: Richtig liebes und nettes Team, wunderschöne Untetkunft, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. - Joerg (7/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt 👍❤️ - Sehr schöner Riad, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und die Küche dort ist ein Traum. Das Team ist extrem nett und sehr hilfsbereit und gibt wirklich alles damit der Gast sich wohl fühlt. Vielleicht etwas abseits. Das Zimmer war im Februar sehr kalt. Das Abendessen war sehr gut allerdings waren die Portionen für den Preis etwas zu klein. Wir empfehlen trotzdem dort zu essen, da dies mit touristischen Restaurants nicht zu vergleichen ist.

- Jayne (10/5): Such a beautiful place to stay - The Riad was exceptional. The moment you enter the staff are absolutely amazing. It’s the most tranquil place I’ve been. Miriam was an amazing chef!! The breakfast and the lunch she prepared us was delicious. There wasn’t really anything we disliked. Probably the location of the Medina but really it was in the heart of it.
- Isabelle (8/5): Un personnel aux petits soins et un petit-déjeuner exceptionnel - Nous avons adoré l’accueil, assuré par un personnel aux petits soins et véritablement soucieux de notre bien-être. La chambre, équipée de deux lits simples, était spacieuse et confortable, avec une salle de bain de bonne taille. Le petit-déjeuner était exceptionnel, varié et composé de produits frais. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre no 5, au mois de mars, période durant laquelle les températures étaient encore assez fraîches le matin. L’humidité dans la chambre et la salle de bain était très marquée, ce qui nous a surpris vu la période. Par grande chaleur, cela nous aurait moins dérangés. Le sol était également très froid et un tapis à la sortie du lit aurait été apprécié. Malgré la couverture supplémentaire mise à disposition, j'ai eu un peu froid pendant la nuit car le lit était également froid et humide. Par ailleurs, la cuvette des toilettes n’était pas solidement fixée au sol et le couvercle ainsi que la lunette étaient fixés seulement d’un côté, ce qui donnait une certaine instabilité et pouvait représenter un risque de chute. Enfin, la douche était équipée de deux systèmes : un pommeau fixe en hauteur, qui fonctionnait bien, et un pommeau avec tuyau flexible qui était malheureusement inutilisable.

The ria - As someone who travels extensively and has experienced some of the world’s finest hotels, I can confidently say that Riad Emberiza Sahari ranks in my personal top three hotels of all time. - Laurence (10/5): - My friend and I spent 3 nights at the Riad Emberiza Sahari and everything was perfect! The Riad itself was like an oasis in the tumult of Marrakesh and offered a calm and relaxing stay. Our bedroom was very clean and had a traditional yet modern touch. The breakfast was amazing, the food was so fresh, the tea and the coffee so good and we loved the traditional moroccan Msemen with the Amlou. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They recommended us many restaurants and activities and they were very reliable through our whole stay. Even when the kitchen was still closed early in the morning, we still got breakfast before our daytrip. The staff even brought us several times to our taxi, so we felt very safe and protected. We highly recommend this Riad, if you look for a traditional and relaxing stay in Marrakesh!

Tutto il personale è stato super gentile, il Riad semplicemente stupendo, ci hanno fatto davvero sentire parte della loro famiglia. La colazione sulla terrazza, semplicemente meravigliosa, abbondante e davvero squisita. La camera seppur di dimensioni dignitose era molto pulita e accogliente. La posizione è perfetta se si vuole essere leggermente isolati rispetto al caos del centro della Medina , comunque a 10/15 minuti a piedi da ogni attrazione principale, comodissima per macchina e taxi. Noi ci siamo spostati la maggior parte del tempo a piedi, anche la sera e nonostante non sia completamente nel centro la zona è comunque sicura, non ci siamo mai sentiti in pericolo anche a tardi orari. Purtroppo il Wi-Fi non era ottimale, ma dettaglio che non abbiamo nemmeno riferito e può passare in secondo piano, anzi utile per staccare completamente. La stanza al piano terra, comoda a livello logistico, unica pecca si perde leggermente la privacy rispetto alle altre stanze. Questi sono gli unici dettagli se devo trovare qualcosa di “negativo” ma nel complesso un soggiorno molto piacevole.

- F (10/5): - Heel leuke sfeer, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeer smaakvol ingericht. Goede kok! Elke ochtend een ander ontbijt. Wij probeerde s'avonds ook de tajine met kip en citroen, ( 's morgens best laten weten wat je gaat eten) het was overheerlijk; om duimen en vongers af te likken. Riad Emberiza ( naam van een vogel did daar alom aanwezig is) een aanrader!

It’s not a buffet but they will serve you egg as main dish and bread and couple other dishes. They have a pet cat too! I wish overall it was in a better location. People nearby will try and stop you and will try to show you directions. Don’t listen to them as then they will ask for tip.

The riad was very beautiful, fresh, and spotlessly clean. The location was central and super easy to get to, which made everything very convenient. Le Riad est splendide, niché dans le nord de la médina, un véritable havre de paix décoré avec énormément de goût. Mais ce qui rend cet endroit vraiment exceptionnel, c’est l’équipe ! Chaque personne qui nous a accueillis était d’une gentillesse incroyable. Sourires, bienveillance, disponibilité… on s’est sentis comme chez nous dès la première minute. Leur générosité et leur attention ont vraiment marqué notre voyage. Nous avons également adoré les petits déjeuners ainsi que les succulents tajines faits avec amour ! On a quitté le Riad avec une seule idée en tête : revenir au plus vite ! Un immense merci à toute l’équipe ❤️

- Tim (10/5): Top riad - Een top riad. Younes en zijn topteam zorgen voor een fantastisch verblijf in hun prachtige riad in Marrakesh. Alles tot in de puntjes afgewerkt en geregeld. Bij onze laat avond vlucht vanuit Brussel kwam men ons halen op de stopplaats van de taxi en werden we hartelijk ontvangen met Marokkaanse thee. Younes doet meer dan zijn best om alle bezienswaardigheden en excellente restaurants aan te duiden op een stadsplan. Deze zijn zéker allen de moeite waard! Een heerlijk gevarieerd ontbijt iedere ochtend op het binnenplein of op het mooie dakterras. Bekomen van het drukke Marrakesh kan op een van de ligzetels op het binnenplein. We komen terug en combineren Marrakesh met een bezoek aan de woestijn. Bedankt Younes en het volledige team. Niets

- Becki (10/5): Amazing experience at this beautiful authentic Riad - Me and my husband stayed in this Riad for the first half of our trip. We immediately felt at home as soon as we walked through the door, the staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Especially Oussama who welcomed us and went above and beyond for our stay including getting up extra early to make us a light breakfast before our hot air balloon excursion. The area is in the heart of the Medina with a short walk to the souks and we felt safe walking back and fourth to our taxi pickup on a evening. We ate a evening meal at the Riad when we first arrived and it was a incredible, delicious traditional Moroccan dinner which was our first try of Moroccan food! The breakfasts were also gorgeous with a added bonus of the company of the Riad Cat and Kitten (Limona and Leo). We couldn’t fault this Riad especially after having a different experience at another towards the end of our trip. We will definitely be returning to this home away from home on our next trip! Everything was perfect! Only personal silly requirement would be a full length mirror in the room to check outfits before leaving!

- Olivia (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful Riad in an authentic and local part of the Medina - Gorgeous Riad in the heart of Medina with very kind staff and great facilities. Directly outside you are on a busy street of the Medina with lots of scooters and carts passing by as well as a few beggars. It didn’t feel safe to walk alone and I was very thankful that my husband was with me at all times.

Condições maravilhosas, pequeno almoço, o staff muito atencioso e o facto de estarmos praticamente nós, tornou a experiência ainda melhor que tivemos um espaço quase privado. Apesar de ter sentido que estava menos perto da zona central, não foi problema para nós que gostávamos de andar. Porém senti que a zona à noite, na entrada, se torna um bocadinho mais pesada comparada com outros lugares que fiquei.
