• Hayley (2/5): Distressing - Great location close to Universal Studios and Hollywood walk of fame. Rooms were clean and spacious. Very noisy, windows do nothing to block road noise, aircon units are on the floor so can hear a constant humming from rooms above. I prepaid for the room and was charged again on arrival. No one told us they were charging us the full room rate just asked us for a card to put on file which we assumed was for incidentals. Queried this with the reception staff and provided proof that we had paid and they insisted we needed to sort it with booking.com. Upon speaking with booking.com they said the money is there and the hotel need to request it. This was verified by a hotel manager who apologised an hour before we checked out for their error after us chasing for 2 nights. Last 2 days of our holiday in the US and had £650 frozen in our account, not ideal! On the morning of check out we thought breakfast ended at 9:30, not 9. Admittedly our error but no one informed us of the breakfast times at check in so we looked online and google incorrectly told us 9:30. Whilst I appreciate this is our error I think it is disgusting that the hotel wouldn’t even offer our 3 young children (4, 6 and 8 years old) even a piece of fruit. When we explained to the reception staff that we got the time wrong and that we were travelling back to the UK today (10 hour flight) and what could we do with breakfast for the children (didn’t even want anything for ourselves just the kids) the lady SHRUGGED and said there’s nothing she can do breakfast is closed. I have never been to any hospitality venue that has refused young children some food for the sake of 10 minutes, I understand no hot food but fruit and cereal was just sitting there on the other side of the door. Very disappointed overall with our experience which is a shame as the room itself was lovely and the hotel is clean and in a great location. The manager who we finally spoke to who sorted the billing error and apologised for the mistake was lovely, but the rest of the reception staff were unhelpful and left us to sort everything.

• Astroph (10/5): Nice stay - We had a quick one-night stay at the property and were impressed by the quality and room size for the price. The rooms at the Springhill Suites are about 30% larger than those at other Marriott properties in the area. Tangela at the front desk was really amazing with our four-year-old twins. She took the time to personally greet each of our children and make them smile. She went out of her way to make our stay special! Awesome job with the front desk!

I was there for a conference with colleagues so I could not easily leave to find another hotel, so I was moved to another room. I *think* it was bug free, however the experience with the first room ruined the stay. Who can sleep comfortably after that?

• Laurie (10/5): - This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Erica the bartender is a favorite, and Isaac was excellent as well. The room was comfortable and clean. We had an issue with the a/c in our room, but the staff was extremely responsive and made sure that it was promptly repaired. We will definitely return to Spring Hill Suites the next time we visit Burbank.

Very clean, comfortable and safe! - The Marriott Springhill Suites in Burbank was a pleasant surprise given my generally low expectations for "suite" hotels. First and foremost, the property is in a great location; a short walk to nearly everything in Downtown Burbank and with easy access to the freeways. The property was VERY clean. Everywhere I went, things were basically spotless - including my room! Plenty of parking, although the price of $20/day seems a bit much given that we're in the 'burbs. Internet worked seamlessly for my business emails, etc and the ability to print out a boarding pass was helpful. The morning breakfast needs to be rethought in that when the property is full, there's no way that people can easily avail themselves of the small buffet area and the seating seems a bit tight, unless one wishes to sit in the bar area which was semi-blocked-off. Maybe a person to direct traffic or to restrict the number of people might make things better. I gave-up and took a coffee and went back to my room to work. One last note - the rooms on the front side of the hotel may be "entertained" by the restaurant/bar on the other side of the street until about 11PM. It's not horrible, but be aware. Lastly, kudos to Miranda, the Operations Manager, for such a well-kept and nicely run property.

While the closet was larger than expected, it smelled like old moth balls. Also, please give the showers a lower handheld option especially for older and shorter guests. My mother could not reach the shower head to adjust it away from wetting her hair.

My room was dated and dirty - the couch and curtains were stained and there was a pill from the previous guest next to the bed. I’ll look for another hotel next time I’m in town.

The Negative: We are a family of 5 and reserved a room that accommodates 5 people, 2 queens and a sofa bed, they did NOT have a blanket for the sofa bed and when we asked they said they didn’t have any more in the hotel. We asked twice at different times. They should have enough blankets to cover all rooms that are listed as having a sofa beds. Unacceptable!

• Kandi (10/5): - We have stayed at the Springhill Suites several times over the past few years since our son moved to Burbank. We have never had a bad experience, in fact it’s the only place we go. At different times during our visits one thing or another is being updated, so actually it’s nicer each time we’ve stayed. It’s a short walk or drive to an amazing downtown area with a lot of shop and delicious restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

• Johann (3/5): Poor - Check in process was amazing!! The two guys at the front desk gave us helpful tips for Universal Studios. We were there to attend Fan Fest 2025. However the in between and the checkout process was not so great. In the middle of the night someone was trying to get into our room and the door handle kept jiggling. We finally said "wrong room!" We were leaving for Universal Studios the next morning and we had asked the front desk for towels to be sent to our room. When we came back that evening our room keys was not working. We attempted a few times and also verified we had the correct room number. We went downstairs to see what the issue was. The front desk said "oh that floor had all the locks changed so I need to give you new keys" we were never notified that there was going to be a change. We also addressed someone trying to get in our room late last night. He said "hmmm I don't think that would happen" and completely dismissed it. We got our new room keys and as soon as we walked in, there was a thick layer of wood dust ALL OVER our belongings near the front door! It was a complete mess. It was only all over the bar area with the microwave and fridge which we had food items. My boyfriend went downstairs to address it and again it was dismissed like it was nothing. No apologies, nothing. Poor customer service during our stay. Will not stay again.

• Pham (8/5): Nice and affordable hotel to stay at with pleasant staff, clean amenities, and hassle-free parking. - The room was clean and roomy, as with other Springhill Suites we have stayed at. A few minor things needed to be fixed: the lighted mirror (the bulb was burned out) and the toilet paper hanger, which was loose.

He helped with accommodating us with another room because we did have an issue with our first room. The room itself was nice and roomy. When we originally got into our room i always check around and make sure it’s clean and safe to stay in. After lifting up sheets and comforters our mattress was heavily stained on majority of the mattress. Also the property and inside is very small. Not the greatest layout.
