Guest Reviews
- Guest (1/5): - Nothing They accused us of stealing towels that we didn’t take and told us our room was dirty when we cleaned it to the best of our ability. Then when we asked to talked to a manager about reviewing the cameras we were told that the manager would be in the next day. When we called they said the manager wasn’t in that day. Charged us an extra hundred for rough towels we didn’t take.

- Lisaj5434AO (10/5): Comfortable and Clean - Clean, comfortable and professional employees. The fireplace and jetted tub was great for a relaxing weekend. Everything was nice and fresh.
- Madison (9/5): -
- Leonard (8/5): - All good

- Guest (9/5): Everything was great! Staff was very friendly and helpful! -

- kellymF9838OD (10/5): A favorite place to stay in Grand Rapids, MN - I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who checked me in, but he was very pleasant and engaging — great candid conversation! The breakfast always offers plenty of options to choose from, and the rooms are consistently clean. Always a reliable and comfortable stay.
My only head's up to travelers using a government per diem: I have stayed at this location regularly in the past, and it has consistently met government per diem requirements. This time, I did not verify the current rate prior to booking, assuming it would still fall within allowable limits. Unfortunately, the cost exceeded the per diem, and I acknowledge that I should have researched this beforehand. I will take greater care in the future to confirm rates before finalizing reservations.
- Deborah (10/5): Really nice pleasant place. - Quiet, clean, great staff, nice pool. Supper fantastic breakfast. Convenient, well kept.
- Sebastien (10/5): A very good hotel - the hotel was very clean and in good shape. pretty modern too. nothing
- Julia (10/5): - Wonderful helpful staff! The facility has a few bugs with door handles and toilets and odds and ends of age, but anytime something came up they fixed it or helped immediately. They are also very welcoming every time you walk in or leave and it's so nice to have that! Thank you!!
- Robert (8/5): - Nice hotel in a beautiful community. Lots of food options nearby, located in the bustling part of town.
- Billy (10/5): - Quick and easy check in and out. Friendly staff. Very clean facility.
- DoreenM160 (2/5): There Are Better Places in Town - Thankfully we are checking out tomorrow. This is our fourth night here and I can’t wait to leave. If you stay here, understand that there is absolutely no cleaning that will take place in your room. Your garbage will pile up along with your dirty, wet towels. Your beds won’t be made and your sheets won’t be changed (even though the sign in the room says every third day - nope.) yesterday, housekeeping knocked on my door even with the do not disturb sign up. I answered the door and said we were leaving for the day and she could come in. I left a very nice tip on the bed - we came back and the tip was taken but the only thing that happened were two clean washcloths were left. Trash wasn’t emptied, beds weren’t made, nothing was cleaned. Last time we’re staying here - and would NEVER recommend this place. Yuck.
- Tammy (10/5): - Staff were amazing. Free cookies at check-in. Pool and hot tub clean and working. Breakfast was amazing including fresh fruit and Good coffee. Everything was clean. They even had a basket of towels by the doors to dry off motorcycles, which came in handy for us in the morning. Will definitely stay again.
- Michael (10/5): - Let's be honest: I needed a place to sleep for one night while I was on vacation. It doesn't need to be within walking distance of a good school, or close to the farmers' market. It had a bed, it had a shower, it had hot coffee & breakfast. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
- Guest (9/5): It was all I thought it would be and nice to be in GR for some cooler weather - Very good
- Q6817PArosel (10/5): Quiet relaxing stay - You will love this clean, professional and quiet place to stay. You might also be able to see an owl or a red tail hawk in the back of the parking lot.
- Janet (10/5): - The parking lot had some pretty big holes, but otherwise was sufficient to handle all the cars of the customers. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained.
- cynthia (10/5): Convenient location - Easy parking, good breakfast options, friendly staff.
- Jamie (10/5): Amazing staff and great stay - The stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and caring. There were a few issues that were very minor that we reported to staff, but nothing to completely effect the stay.
- Jamie (10/5): - Nice place to stay.
- Douglas (10/5): Very unsatisfied with booking.com at this point, we received a room that we didnt book. - The place its self was great, wasn't the room we thought we booked. Was very upset to pay $190.00 for this room. Price and it wasn't what we booked.
- Gordon (6/5): - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were not happy with the bathroom. Why would you put a toilet a foot off the floor? Terrible and no hand rails to help get up!! The night stands by the bed was dirty! You could see cup stains on it. The arm chair was dirty and basically the cushion was gone!! Needs to be replaced!!
- Larry (9/5): Was just what we needed for our family reunion time. - The breakfast was wonderful. Good variety and fresh fruit. Sitting was limited but finally discovered the overflow room. Grandkids enjoyed the pool area. office chair in room did not function so had to use a pillow.
- Jennifer (10/5): - It was clean and comfortable
- Timothy (10/5): - - The bed was a bit uncomfortable.
- The breakfast area didn’t have the hot food stocked well.
- Pool was great.
- Room was nice, but the shower/toiler section of the bathroom was really small.
Aside from this, I’d come back. Convenient and affordable. Staff was nice too.
- Lori (10/5): - I booked this property for my family, and me at a very difficult time. I was there to make funeral arrangements for my mom. Shawn, Allen and James at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating with my requests. I requested earlier check in times and later check out times which they accommodated. They were very attentive to my requests during my stay.
Delores, in food service, was excellent with keeping breakfast foods stocked and the tables clean. Breakfast was made appealing.
The rooms were comfortable.
The location is within walking distance to shopping and dining.
My family enjoyed the pool.
Pet friendly rooms were a big plus for my family.
I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in the area. The rooms did not have enough seating areas.

- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (6/5): - Like the pool. Light switch by the door didn't work. Had to plug coffeemaker in by the vanity. Breakfast was being taken down early-had to ask for items
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Very close to things and was able to walk. It was nice to walk after riding six hours
- Brian (10/5): - Nice property and was clean. I have a table outside.
- Linda (10/5): - Great location. Close to everything!
Very nice front desk and nice breakfast. Pool nice aa well. Highly recommend.
- Ckk (7/5): Room was clean, beds were comfortable. - Coffee was good, liked the breakfast as well for a continental style. I felt the bathroom was a little small. Not alot of room. Would have been nice to have an elevator since we were on the second floor.
- Rob (8/5): Very good -
- Cortney (4/5): Awful. This is the second time in a few months, same location. - The location was great! Our room was not ready at 330 for check in but we we were told 3pm is check in time. The guy at the front said a few housekeepers quit and rooms were still being cleaned from the night before at 330pn! Got to our room and it's just old looking room 117. Old plastic hot tub, broken tiles, the bath tub has chipped paint in the floor. Fixtures are old and dingy looking! Not worth $200 a night! I've stayed in far nicer rooms for cheaper! This is the second time I've stayed here in the past few months and it's been the same experience. We came back at around 7pm and front desk guy was standing out front smoking and talking to a group of his "friends" on bikes, not professional at all! Breakfast was just as bad. No coffee made in dining area. Biscuits hard and gravy cold! Out of silverware. No place to sit. Sone lady I assume was either a kitchen worker or cleaner told us to get a red tray and eat in our room because there was no place to go!
- Katie (10/5): - No thanks
- Tara (4/5): - The water in the shower would not get hot or stay hot for more than 2 minutes at a time. The water from the shower also would not stay in the designated shower area and would consequently make the bathroom floor wet.
- Michael (8/5): - Was what we expected
- Darlene (6/5): - Happy we got 1st floor as they had no elevator. No hot shower at night or the next morning.
- D9894JNbethm (10/5): Quaint, Warm, and Welcoming - The hotel is small but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Family friendly and they allow pets. The only downfall is that there is no elevator to the second floor. Request the firs floor if that is an issue. Staff have always been accommodating to that request.
- Megan (8/5): - Nice quiet and clean
- Anonymous (10/5): It was costly but a great property. - Great staff, friendly and helpful!
Clean rooms and property. Cost was high.
- Jeremy.c.burke05 (2/5): - There was class in the pool. They said I would get 50% off never got my discount.
- Mike (4/5): - Malfunctioning television and lukewarm shower
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (8/5): Nice room-comfortable bed. - Breakfast was good-had waffles. We’re old-would have preferred to be on the ground floor instead of 2nd floor.
- Larry (5/5): Ok place to sleep but most likely we won’t stay there again. - Was an ok location for our needs but that’s about it. They had a kids lacrosse team tearing up the place (at night when trying to sleep) and they had not notified us prior to our arrival. Some of the hot breakfast’s were terrible!! One day they did not clean our room because of staff shortages. When they did clean, it wasn’t very clean (hair in sink). The tub/shower faucet would not shut off all the way (constantly leaking a steady stream).
- MNgurrlmum (10/5): Great stay in Grand Rapids! - The front desk staff that checked us in was friendly and sweet. She recognized me as a Wyndham Rewards member and provided us with free upgrade prior to even asking. The room was clean and welcoming. The pool area was inviting and the pool was warm - the perfect temperature! The hot tub was too hot. We notified the staff and after taking the proper steps to confirm our assumption, she promptly took precautionary measures and closed it for the rest of the evening. She did just as she should have. We’ll see you next time!
- Emilia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ann (8/5): Wrestling tournament weekend - Great place that was pet friendly.
Huge wrestling tournament that weekend. Loud as usual.
Breakfast should have been more prepared for hungry wrestlers, poor attendant couldn’t keep up.
Outdated some and beds uncomfortable. The stay did it job, would stay again.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- ralphbard (10/5): Excellent place to park for a business trip. - Nice hotel, convenient location with friendly staff and pretty nice breakfasts. Clean room and ample parking. Never felt crowed, comfortable temperatures and atmosphere. Great proximity to places like Aldi, Walmart and many fast food outlets.
- Gayle (6/5): Pleasant - We did not enjoy the breakfast. Not enough choices for us but ok for young kids.
- Wright (4/5): Disappointing - Hot tub was down during my stay which was the 1 thing I was looking forward to, very disappointing 😞
- Sara (10/5): - Pool and hot tub was very clean. Towels were hard to come by, but that’s all I would have to complain about. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was always smiling and looked like they loved their job. Would definitely stay again or recommend it to friends and family for their stay.
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jared (10/5): Standard and supported - Comfortable and reliable room. Set your temperature early as it's easier to cool the room than to heat being middle of winter. Otherwise executed stay to my expectations.
- Jared (10/5): Solid and secure - Travelled here twice in as many weeks for business. Rooms are quite and comfortable. Only nit-pick was the channel options were fairly limited as the expanded package was only available in the main lobby. Other than that exactly what you'd expect in a Wyndam property.
- Vikla (9/5): It was enjoyable. - Love the breakfast varied selection Can't think of.
- John (10/5): - Nice and clean. Awesome breakfast.
- Shofner (7/5): Good -
- Sandy (10/5): Grand Rapids kind and great service - Hailey was so helpful! We were looking for pet friendly and arrived early. She was so kind! Everybody at this hotel was accommodating. The pool and hot tub were perfect. We will DEFIN stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay. - Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We had a group staying for kids sports and felt very welcomed. Breakfast was good, (scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit & waffles) and kept refilled despite how busy it was. The property itself is older but was clean.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Desiray (4/5): - The staff was great however our stay was only 7 hours. We checked in close to midnight and left at about 6:30am. Our microwave didn’t work. The TV sounded like a robot and the hose blew off and disconnected from the wall and started spraying out hard while in the shower. This all would have been worth it for a $60-$80 but definitely not worth the $200 for the night.
- Jaime (8/5): - Staff and accommodations were great. Just a lot of children running around due to hockey season.
- Sean (2/5): Disappointed - There was a hockey team and a birthday party in the pool area. Loudest pool area I have ever been in. Kids running and yelling and diving. Hotel staff did nothing!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was helpful and friendly
- Jennifer (10/5): - Desk clerk was extremely helpful, even searched for earplugs for me! I truly appreciated his kind and generous personality.
Thank you!
- Rachel (9/5): Superb - Clean and friendly Location
- Katrina (8/5): the stay was relaxing and enjoyable - the hottub was super hot and relaxing they didn't have a big enough shampoo/conditoner/ soap in bathroom
- Paradise511700 (10/5): Visiting family over the holidays. - I was impressed by how incredibly kind and helpful ALL of the staff were - morning, evening, and overnight. My family felt comfortable and safe. Good beds. We LOVED the pool and breakfast! We will definitely be back for future visits. Thank you!
- Jay (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Kelly (6/5): - Our window view was an alleyway and we were awaken with garage trucks emptying the trash containers one morning. Beds were not comfortable, but pillows were. Breakfast had a variety, but the family did not like it (off brand food does taste different i.e. peanut butter, waffles). Skipped pool/hot tub cause of it being packed. There was a conference room to gather a group together and that was free. Night front desk guy was nice and attentive! Not confident i would stay again due to price as 2 days was over $400 for average stay.
- Denise (8/5): - The only thing I didn’t like was that the bathrooms were small and the toilets are like little kid ones
- marlenek698 (10/5): Great hotel in Grand Rapids Minnesota - We loved the choice of pillows - and the bed was so comfortable. The towels were so thick and fluffy. The hotel was so clean and the staff so friendly and accommodating. The choice and variety in the breakfast bar was unbelievable - probably the best we have ever found in a hotel.
- Alfonzoruiz (2/5): Awfull experience with beds and pillows - Good location, quiet room, friendly staff, awesome pool, parking lot, breakfast and other amenities are okay but cheap 6 inches mattress and yellow stained pillows ruined the vacation experience. Just stayed 1 night and move it to another hotel.
- Leah (4/5): - When checking in they did not have the correct number of rooms from my Expedia reservation but did manage to find us another room. However, they did not link that room to my reservation so I have now also been charged for the room they said I didn’t have reserved through expedia. Not sure who’s responsible for fixing this error. Contacted hotel spoke with woman who would document for her manager the issue so would have it when Expedia called but said I had to work with Expedia. Expedia has apparently contacted the hotel who sounds like they didn’t listen to the issue when discussing with Expedia. I have provided additional info to Expedia and now can’t get a response from Expedia. If it was $20 I would not bother but since it is over $200 definitely want my money back!!!!!!!
- Debbie (9/5): It was a very pleasant experience. Breakfast was filling, and good. It wasn't a snack breakfast. - I have never been in that area. It was easy to find. Check in person was very helpful, courteous and polite. the room was very clean, and well put together. We had enough clean towels, which was appreaciated! The room cost increase due to other items out of my control. It was a expensive nites sleep. I do not travel often, so I am not used to these fees.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean, comfortable environment. Hockey team disrupted our stay however, staff was responsive and helpful to resolve issues.
- Kirby (8/5): Pleasant stay. - Pool was great! Perfect temperature for the kids. Also breakfast had something for everyone. I thought there would be a door between the room with the king bed and the room with the double queen beds.
- Marianna (10/5): - Property was recently updated and was clean and fresh.
- Stephanie (4/5): Could have been better - The room and hotel itself were clean. Front desk was very friendly but the beds were horrible. Springs poking your back all night. They had some kind of jockey tournament in town and we had a very sleepless night due to the kids running and yelling up and down the halls. More than likely won’t stay again.
- Charlene (8/5): - Nice place will stay again.
- Tracy (10/5): Good stay - Great service, good breakfast, friendly people.
- Shofner (8/5): Very good -
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (8/5): - Good breakfast
- Heather (10/5): - Clean, friendly staff, warm breakfast option is nice, pool opens little later than hoped
- Kimberly (10/5): - Very nice
- m (10/5): - good place, convenient
- Anita (9/5): Superb - Close enough to canal. Easy on off exits The strong fragrance smells from air dreshners or carpet stuff
- Carol (2/5): Disappointed to find stained sheets on the bed. - Good location Bed was made with stained sheets.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (10/5): - Very Comfortable
- Denise (8/5): - Ok
