Guest Reviews
- Jacquelyne (6/5): - The main part of the room was remodeled & nice, but the bathroom needed to be updated & cleaned.
- Ingrid (2/5): - It was horrible. Dirty. Never going again. Should never be on hotels.com. disgusting is a nice word
- Syed (6/5): - The shower was so small that we could not use it properly. Hot wares was not available during night time.
- Lisa (10/5): - We rented the two bedroom. It was perfect for my family of 6
- Diana (2/5): - Very bad welcoming didn’t stay very bad experience
- Verified traveler (4/5): Can be better and less. - I will begin by saying the (2) ladies at the check in desk were great. Check in was fast. The room does need a lot of work. Small Tv. the sink had no hot water, we did not have a new roll of bathroom paper. Not enough soap. and to top off an unpleasant night. Our neighbors decided to hold an all night "talking" gathering right out side our door until like 1am. they were loud. I even open the door so they can know we were sleeping and they said we woke you up? I closed the door and they went back to their family meeting. Thank God it was only one night stay. Too pricey for the room.
- Michael (8/5): Not bad for the money - Property was oldand it showed. Room was comfy but the 19" television has to be updated. Over all, it was a pleaseant stay.
- Rebecca (2/5): - Dumpster in parking lot overflowing with rotten garbage
- John (2/5): - I really liked that they had a room that had separate sleeping quarters.it would be the perfect place to stay if it was clean.
What I didn’t like was the room was dirty and they wanted to put us in another room but if one is dirty I’m sure they all were.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It is not as advertised. The room was cramped, there was no breakfast on site extra pay or not, and there was also no playground nearby. Part of why I chose it was because of the playground advertised. There was a leak in our toilet which was a health and safety hazard and nothing was done about it. The maintenance workers were nice but not the owner so much. We had to keep asking for them to look at the toilet and then they couldn't do anything about it while we were there and they said there were no other rooms available. We weren't offered any sort of compensation or anything. I was incredibly disappointed. Their only highlights were the pool and the nice guys who worked there.
- Sandra L (4/5): - Price is clearly way too much for barely adequate accommodations.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Small, clean, NO Frills - Clean, comfortable bed, bathroom could use an exhaust fan and TP holder, small rooms, not fancy, AC fair (blocked by half wall,), cheap option to an expensive town.\
- Paula (2/5): - The lady that owns it was not very nice but the 2 young men that work there were outstanding. Could not check in until after 3 because the rooms were not ready.
- Dinell (6/5): - Need some upgrading , but you pay for , what you get
- Vimalkumar (4/5): - Cabinet, windows too dirty.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - not as bad as i thought while checking in but beware . POOL does not work .
- Halima (2/5): Horrible experience - False advertising, stay away.
- Patrick (4/5): - Room was not very clean
- Fatema (8/5): -
- Lomesh (2/5): - Worst motel that I have ever seen. I would not recommend to anyone. Sorry
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room looked like it was falling apart, roof was caved in, the walls were patched up with spackle and no paint over it, caulk from around the edges of the sink and shower was peeling off, shower was leaking water outside the of the bathroom and leaking right under the bed, the front door had a gap on top where the heat was coming in so it was hard to keep the room cool and someone had a dog locked in one of the rooms for a good while because he wouldn’t stop barking
- Verified traveler (6/5): Truly disappointed - This was probably the most disappointing stay we have ever had. The bed was the worst. It sunk in and creeked. There was no getting comfortable. The rooms smelled; they went way overboard on the cleaning products for some reason. Which gave me migraines and made me ill the entire weekend. We got 2 rooms and one room didn't have a good bathroom. The shower didn’t work so you had to use the bathtub and that only had luke watm water, so i had to go to the other room to shower at night.
The pool was not able to be used. It had a huge rip in it. The grounds were not super kept. Really a disappointment because the location is ideal. It right near everything and the rate ia compareable to surrounding places. Overall, for a last minute trip it will do if there is no other option, but if you have time look at other places on the same roaf b3cause they cost the same and have muvh more to offer.
- Thomas (2/5): - Upon arrival I felt
- Denise (6/5): eh. - well... communicating with the owners was difficult, as time of reservation we were not informed there was no water in the pool.. the rooms were "ok" if you like moth balls.
- Cecilia (4/5): Disappointed ☹️ - Pool not working.
No microwave, coffee machine can’t use
Very bad internet
Towels smell bad
Room we’re dirty
Garbage in front
Lady from the desk not friendly
- Lillian (4/5): - Bathroom waa was dirty. There was hair on the floor and around the toilet. There was cherry pits in the corner of the room and at the door. The garbage cans were nasty they had black stuff in them . The tv kept loosing service.
- Amy (2/5): Worst service ever - I didn’t even get to stay, so constantly checking to make sure I don’t get charged. When I showed up the woman at the counter was being incredibly rude to one of her employees right in front of me and didn’t even acknowledge that I was there for the 5 minutes she was berating employee. Then when she turned to me she just stared. I told her I have a reservation. She said I didnt. I showed her the reservation confirmation and she rudely said it was full and there was no room. She never said sorry. The place looked really dirty on the outside and there was a gang of people there, like over 100 people all over the parking lot. Based on the hotel.com reviews this seems to be a pattern. I highly recommend you take this establishment off of hotels.com.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - They did not believe I booked a room. The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude. She made me show my bank statement to prove that she already has the money.
After all of that they did not have a room for me. But they did try and send me to one that literally had no toilet. When I got to "my room" the toilet was outside by the front door, there was a plumber working in the bathroom (no issues with him whatsoever, just doing his job) and some of his tools were on the table.
I went to return the key and the woman at the desk was yelling at someone on the phone. While dealing with another customer who was asking why they had no working plumbing in the room. I just left the key and stated I would like my money refunded. I also sent a refund request to them via email.
Luckily I was able to get another room at a different hotel last minute. My trip was awesome after that.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No hot water for 2 days..
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Check in process was interminable. Didn’t have the reservation ready.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Different in the picture
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It wasn't a horrible place to stay but when I arrived my room want ready and I showed up about half an hour after my check in time. The staff asked me to come back in an hour and my room would be ready. It was cheap in price which was good but the price matched the quality.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property and the room was very average, nothing special. Small room with a double bed. desk, dresser, TV, sink and a fridge that didn't work. The room had a separate bathroom that had a toilet and a small shower.
- Niki (2/5): Mortified and found people sleeping in the room! - Mortified! I checked in around 2:30-3pm. Was give a room key and went in to the room. Room was filthy but with the holiday weekend we could not find another place. We went to the village. We arrived back around 9:30pm. I opened the door to the room and found people sleeping in the room! Luckily and crazy enough they didn’t appear to be bothered and just rolled over and said this was their room. I was then told that I was given the wrong key. Again due to the holiday weekend I was willing to even just get any room just to sleep. Well then I was in to a room with ONE bed. I have two children 13 and 4 and my husband. Again also filthy. I went back and stated we would not be staying and I would just like a refund. They lady kept shuffling around papers and talking to a staff member. I repeated I just want a refund. She gave me a receipt but it says on the receipt under mode “offline “ nothing has posted on my credit card. I did call hotels.com to ask for help and assurance that I would be refunded and to tell them what happens. They said they will reach out the place and get back to me. Not having much hope hear and still mortified and thank god the people that were in the room didn’t seem to care but we had to cut our holiday weekend short and could not take our children to Great Escape such they were so disappointed! Horrible! Don’t ever stay at this place!
- Lino (6/5): - Read the reviews and was prepared for the worst but it was ok . It is an old andirondak hotel
- Galina (2/5): Awful - Not clean, weird smell, small bathroom, really bad place. I don’t recommend it no body.
- Daniel (2/5): Waste of money - They tried giving us the wrong Rome at first. We reserved a queen bed room and got a two doubles. The lady working the counter gave us someone else room. The bathroom in the room was so small I couldn’t take a poop in there and the toilet seat was broken
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property manager does not care about their guests! Stayed here a few nights and on a Tuesday night returned here for a nights sleep and there were dozens of college kids partying and being extremely loud at 10PM. There was actually a hammock put up in front of my room! The manager lady saw me pull in and immediately turned off her lights and locked the office door. I rang the bell and she did come to the door only to tell me that this was "only one night"! Me n my husband left and found another place to stay in town that night. I later learned from my daughter's boyfriend that he was at an underage drinking party held here a few years ago. What some people will do for a buck smh!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Floor was new! And Location from the lake was average, but right by the NY87 exit 22
Bugs in room and behind toilet area. Toilet sheat cover was broken keeps falling on you.
- Verified traveler (2/5): A bad experience - Horrible experience. Dirty place, broken bed,no internet , no channels in tv. I was with my 1 yr son. So I have to warm his bottle. But Microwave was in dirty garage.Management was so poor. When I asked for WiFi connection ,The lady in reception told me , for low battery in my phone, password doesn’t work. What a funny excuse was that. Never & ever will visit here.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Only thing I liked was the price which was actually not good because I felt like I shouldn’t touch anything because it was so gross
- Verified traveler (4/5): You get what you pay for I guess - First started where no one was in the main office to check-in. If no one answers the door bell, there is a sign of a number to call. I wasn't expecting much from this place, but the room is tiny which wasn't a big deal. My biggest complaint was I was unable to connect to the internet to do my work. I had to use the hotspot on my phone. The shower was small and the walls were extremely flimsy. There was very little room to use the toilet. It was right up against the flimsy shower wall and exposed shower pipes. The pipe for the hot water can get hot, so we had to be extra careful. There were some issues with bugs. I also noticed a large gap on the bottom of the main door and the floor making it very easy for bugs to crawl under. The day I requested the room to be cleaned, it wasn't. The pool water was shockingly clean, so that was nice. I survived the stay, but definitely will not be returning.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No Doorknob on bathroom door, broken toilet seat, broke chair on porch, smallest soap have ever seen. nice bed
- Dennis (10/5): cozy lil' place - trouble free great people location
- tammy (6/5): - Not a very clean spot
- Eslam (2/5): - The worst motel I ever stayed at, stayed one night and left.
- lynn (4/5): - heat did not work, never cleaned our cabin, no towels or toilet paper replaced
- Susan (4/5): - Housekeeping never showed all weekend. The room didn’t have any heat. The shower temperature was inconsistent and not only changed when someone turned on the water in the sink but when another room turned on the water.
- Shane (8/5): - Great cheap motel - we stayed during AIM Fest 2018.
- Christopher (2/5): Dirty - The pictures and reviews of this place that I read prior to my stay , do not paint a clear picture of what it actually is. To start, the lady at the desk seemed to be having a very bad day and was in a terrible mood that was far from welcoming. Next, our “2 bedroom cottage” was in complete disrepair and was not what the description says. It DOES NOT have a living room area and the bathroom wasn’t even big enough to change your mind (not exaggerating). You had to maneuver around the sink to close the door in order to get to the toilet. The shower you ask? I’m not sure it’s been cleaned since last year. I wouldn’t bathe my dog in it. The bedrooms were fairly sized, but no where near clean. My toddlers feet were black after 30 minutes of walking around inside. There was one chair in the entire cottage, which was stained and dirty. The beds, it probably would have been more comfortable on the floor, but knowing already how dirty the floor was that was not an option. I’m general the rooms were just dirty, stains on walls, dresser drawers falling apart, curtains that hadn’t been washed in probably a few years. In conclusion, avoid this place, sleep in your car.
- peg (2/5): Pool dirt - Very small room. Shower leaked out to the floor. Opening on the front door so little animals can get in. Room service terrible, came in on third day . Grass not cut. Very disappointed
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away from this place. Terrible. - Awful. Room was not as described in the description online. I booked a 7 person cottage with living room area for a girls weekend. The room they gave me was not that. Lady at the front desk wasnt friendly... people living there and had their clothes and dishes all over the balcony and porch.
- Michael (2/5): AVOID!!! - Absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed.
I have nothing positive or even remotely neutral to say about this motel.
Do not stay here under any circumstances.
Rude staff, dirty hotel. Not even worth staying for free.
- Stacy (2/5): - False advertisement. Pics look nothing g like it was in person. Horrible Wi-Fi,cafe and restaurant on site wasn't open,it was an abandoned building. Never would stay there again. Oriental woman at desk not friendly at all. Would not recommend
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Was a very small room clean except for shower which looked gross
- Verified traveler (2/5): - not a good place to stay, not very friendly
- Bek (2/5): - Disgusting hotel. Dirty floors. Nasty bed sheets.thats the worsth hotel ever. Tv got Just one chanell and not good one. Rooms smells badly.like cheap brothel. Felt incredibly uncomfortable to come there with my girlfriend.
- PatrickRiley (8/5): - friendly, responsive staff...good location...comfortable room...great deal for the price
- Robert (8/5): A great motel at a nice price - Contrary to what other reviewers have said, the personnel were extremely friendly & helpful. An older style motel with a nice pool, a flat screen tv with a ton of channels & very comfortable plus the price was more than reasonable
- Cherry (2/5): This should not be in hotels.com, it’s horrible. - It was a horrible experience. nothing works from the fridge to the microwave. The beds are old that it’s leaning to the left and it’s very uncomfortable. No phone, no internet as they advertised. The rooms are full of mosquitos. So awful. Front desk is rude.
- Dina (2/5): AWFUL - They advertise that there is a restaurant, well it is not open. My room was disgusting to say the least. I slept fully clothed and put towels down on the floor to walk around. The furniture was dirty, with stuff from the last person who stayed there still in the drawers. The shower was terrible, mold on the shower curtain. If I was expedia, I would take this hotel off of my website!!!!! Requested a refund and got a $25.00 credit!!!!
- Johnny (4/5): - You get what you pay for. The welcoming guest/owner doesn’t greet you she doesn’t even look at you in your face just puts the key down on the table . At first we go into the room first thing we did was turn on the ac and check the beds. The ac turned on but wouldn’t go on high. The beds looked good and felt comfortable. Five hours later we go into the room and it feels like a sauna. My wife tells the front desk and they said they will send someone. Ten min later the guy comes and he turns the switch a certain way and it works. Well we tried to do that numerous times I guess they made it like that so the ac doesn’t work when your not in the room. The toilet 🚽 was so close to the shower 🚿 they gave you a paper mat . The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the air conditioner worked wonderfully when the guy supposedly fixed it.
- Paul (2/5): - Room was dirty. TV difficult to operate. Outlets didn't work.
- Tiffany (8/5): Great weekend getaway - Perfect distance to main tourist area. Far enough away for peace and quiet but still with in walking distance. Rooms were set up as duplex cabins which was very nice. Nice place for a weekend but beds were uncomfortable if it were to be a longer stay. I suggest bringing more pillows from home.
- David (8/5): It’s Lake George , not Beverly Hills people - Great place to hang your hat when I’m Lake George Village. No. It’s obviously not the Marriot but at this price point what do you expect? Good pool. Definitely needs updating but so does every other motel In the area. Close enough to walk into town.
- Joe (4/5): Unplugged - WiFi is practically useless. Did enjoy the outside table tennis though. Throwback to the 50s. If that is what you are looking for, this place works
- Courtney (2/5): - Rude woman at the front desk upon check in. They gave us an occupied room that was a disaster. The next room was just as disgusting. Rice crispies in the drawers, the ceiling had water stains and looked like it needed repair, toilet seat was broken, springs coming through the mattress. Shower was too small to use....I wouldn’t have tried though as this place is the dirt nastiest of places I’ve seen. Sketchy people walking around the motel grounds staring you down. I did not feel this place was safe or clean enough for my family so we checked out and stayed with a family friend. After complaining to the rude lady at the front desk I did not receive a refund nor an apology of any kind. Even the Expedia rep tried to get my money back for me but no success. Worst place ever. Do not stay here. You might catch something from the dirty sheets and towels. Absolutely disgusting!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Review of adirondack oasis motel - Room changed 3 times at check in by desk person as they didn't know where to put us, after 10 mins of waiting to find our reservation. Room was fine but no shower head in tub, so unable to shower.
Room right outside basketball court and ball left out , someone playing basketball late at night.unable to find anyone at front desk at checkout to report about missing shower head
- Thomas (6/5): - Old school motel with a bare bones room in a rustic setting. Room was clean enough, but could clearly use an upgrade. If you are looking for a place to sleep, it is fine, if you want a place to hang around with the kids choose another.
- Dwayne (2/5): UNWELCOME!!! - It was a totally waste of time! I didn't feel welcome, at all! It was supposed to have a separate balcony & king bed & microwave. It didn't have either! She definitely did not want me there. When I told her about the room being different than what I reserved, she first told me she would refund my money, then offered another room. Which wasn't much different. Instead of taking either room, I just took my refund & left. I mainly left because of her very unwelcoming(not sure if that's a word) attitude!!! I wouldn't stay or recommend anyone to waste their time & money on this place!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Liked the pool very clean area nice away from the crowd but not to far away check in was the only thing was not happy with women could not find our reservation I said I oaid she said no so i showed her my bank info that indeed itcwas already tried then she finally found reservation and it was then ok
- Kevin (2/5): - Dirty linens in the room, dirty towels, WiFi didn’t work, broken TV.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Was good for a cheap hotel great price
- Kevin (2/5): - Pictures are decieving, we arrived around 2:55 check in was at 3. As we walked into the office the receptionist gave us a dirty look upon entry. We went to check in and she told us at 3 the room will be ready (it was 2:59 when she said that) so we walked out and walked right back in at 3. She gave us our room key and we walk to our room. We open the door and it’s a small room as we expected but you can tell the room is not ketone up to standards at first glance. We walk back to our car to unload our belongings and as we are waking back, house keeping walks in and tells us to give them 30minutes to clean the room. I was already irritated at that point. Once they’re done “cleaning” we lay on the bed and feel the hard spring mattress that needs to be replaced. Flat screen on the wall is probably from 1995 lol on the wall they taped a paper stating you have to manually power the tv since the controller doesn’t work. Also the WiFi and service is terrible, if you try to watch YouTube good luck.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good location - not center city but you can walk into the strip if you enjoy a 10 min walk. Overall impression is just O.K. if you just need a cheap place tp sleep and shower - this will work for a single night or 2. Its just old and run down - no $ being spent to do much with the property other then Maintain whats there.
Definitly nothing special. The owner was nice enough - we had to go ask for new towells and ice - she was cordial about it and prompt. I would not stay again though - i would rather spend a lil more and have a lil newer and cleaner and better maintained property.
- Ariana (4/5): Glad it was only for a night. - Was only here for one day. Kinda glad it was for one day. There was no battery in the fire alarm. Also there was a draft in the door so the hot air came in even though the air conditioner was on. Also there were some loud guests next door. The WiFi had a bit of problems getting connected. The lady at the desk was kind and my room was ready when I got there early. Didn’t use the pool or anything else but I did see a vending machine for drinks on site. It was close to where we were going white water rafting and it was right off the highway.
- Shibasish (2/5): - Never ever book this hotel. The lady in the front desk is RUDE !!!
we booked in February for our July trip, when we arrive, she said there is no room, she is going to book us in a different motel 20 mins. away. when arguing why she is not giving us room, whereas she has alloted rooms to people who has booked room just a week before, she said she cannot help, don't know how it happened. After that further arguing, she rudely said, "Come back after 3, will see what we can do!!!"
Its a request to Expedia also not to have these kind of bad hotels in their list.
- David (2/5): Not what I expected - Hotel was out of town but still close to the village. No breakfast provided and no diner close by. Air conditioner shutting off and on constantly half the night. Found 2 bugs and an ant in the room, one in the bed. One chair with a stained cushion was the only place to sit. 3 hangers on a coat rack jammed in a corner probably could not be used for anything more than a sweater because of how close it was the nightstand which had a clock from the 1970's with no alarm but didn't work anyway. On top of that bath mat was more of a place mat for your dinner table. I found quite a few bugs inside the light globe over the bed. The door to the bathroom was so warped you couldn't close it and thus the door knob was barely hanging on to the door. Extremely disappointed. I always try to find something positive about an experience and have stayed at over 100 hotels but this has to the worst in recent memory. No one should be subjected to this level.
- Donna (2/5): - Linens were filthy, rooms very outdated, lady at front desk is rude and barely speaks English. overpriced!!!!
- Anastasia (8/5): - Nice and cozy property! 10 minutes walk to Boardwalk Lake George where all the action is happening. Wi-Fi though is not working well despite the property having 4 routers.
Overall it was a pleasant stay!
- Dave (6/5): - For the price it’s decent. Short walk to town. Not on lake. You can take trolley for $1 to town.
Rooms should be refreshed. But for the value it’s good. All of the motels in Lake George are dated and pretty much the same. If you want luxury stay at the marriot for triple the price.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Horrible
- Verified traveler (2/5): - ants and bugs all over the place im sick now l wish i got a refund hobbiel
- Verified traveler (4/5): good location but terrible room. - Room extremely small, not very clean, WIFI did not work. AC was so loud you could not sleep. For 90$ U.S. this is insulting. Will never go back to this motel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Over priced - Not the best place to stay, a bit over priced for the state of the room I got. I felt like the bathroom shower was like an old plastic public bathroom stall altered for the bathroom
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a great experience. - They called me 2 times to collect payment. The beds were clean but the carpet was old and dirty. The unit was crazy hot and the a/c didn’t cool the unit especially the bedrooms. Checking was simple however English was a struggle. Not a family place.
- Erica (2/5): Dirty hotel close to the beach - My experience with this hotel was horrible. There were people smoking marijuana across from us, I booked a queen bed and got 2 full size, the top sheets on both beds looked like they haven't been washed and had stains, one of the bottom sheets had a red stain, there were spiders, the radiator had dust hanging off and the air conditioner from the 80's was full of dust, the carpet was stained, there was no microwave, the furniture was old and decrepit, the room had a smell of old. I will never stay here again. We asked the owner who lives here to please change our sheets and she said ok and never came. Next time, I will pay the extra 50 and stay at a more comfortable motel. There was no phone and the room locks are not secure.
- Carolyn (2/5): Booking error - When we arrived, they gave us a room instead of a cottage. It took 20 minutes to resolve the issue. We had no password for WiFi, TV did not work and there was only enough linens even though there were five of us.
The steps up to the cottage were high and the railing wasn't within reach to pull myself up. So disappointed.
- Shannon (4/5): Cheap Hotel - This hotel was not very nice. It is old and needs updating. The owners are pretty unorganized and use a paper calendar to write down their reservations. We had called and booked another nights stay and they had no record of it, thank goodness they ended up having one extra room open that night for us to stay. It is cheap so if you're looking for somewhere cheap to stay that's close to Lake George then its not bad.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This motel is A SCAM!!!!!! I WAS PRE-PAID. The office was not open; there was a phone to call but no one answered. There was NOT ONE SINGLE CAR THERE WHEN I ARRIVED. The restaurant building is for sale, the property has PRIVATE signs posted with "on camera" added. I returned several times over an hour and no one was there. I was forced to then get a room at a different motel. I therefore paid double. I was furious. I don't have money to waste and am still very angry. I have Gold Status with you so you know I am fair and honest. You should not have places like this on your site; it reflects very poorly on you - how can I trust you in the future?
- Faria (4/5): - Its close to the lake but the rooms cleanliness were terrible no proper blankets no iron it was showing me they have it in rooms
- Shannon (2/5): Infested with ants! - We checked into rm. 22. It was half of a cottage and very small, which I did expect from reading reviews. We only needed a place to sleep so I didn't care if it was small. We checked in and I did not like the fact that a copy of my ID was taken and my home/physical address was asked for, when questioned, the check in lady was very rude and did not give a reason why it was needed. I left it blank. When we got to the room, the fridge wasn't plugged in all the way so when I went to plug it back in, drove s of ants came pouring out of the outlet itselfand the wall surrounding the outlet. It was bad. Then the ants started craling up and down all the wires. The other thing which is a real safety concern is the fact that it there was a multi outlet adapy plugged into the only wall outlet that there was. This serviced the lighting for the whole room, fridger and air conditioner. It was massively overloaded and a big fire Hazzard. I went back to the office within 10 Mon of checking in and told the lady/owner all these issues and concerns and she looked at me blankly and said with a straight face "so you want your money back". I got a full refund without issue, which tells me that this is pretty standard at this place. We went around the corner and stayed at a great place right in the water for about $100 more. It was well worth the switch. Do not go to this place. It is full of Heath and safety violations.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel stay - Got there had to call two numbers 3 times never answered. Someone had to track someone down 15 min. Room smelled like urine. Room wasn't clean, flushed toilet leaked water from bowl all over floor smelled like urine. Slept a few hours and left as early as possible.
- Marcos (10/5): - Nice room great location quiet and peaceful
- Igaf (2/5): - An Entomologists dream! My room was the “Deluxe” 2 bed room suite. Dilapidated cottage with pealing paint but if you like insects there were plenty of ants and spiders to study!
- Irv (4/5): - It is an old motel and needs upgrades. A few bugs running around but nothing bad. The room service Saturday morning knocked on the door and I opened it and he said I would like to do a few things and came in the room and did the trash and such. I have never seen such a thing. I didn't even have the sign outside for service. AM coffee and no pastries or donuts. No microwave in the room. Pool and Poolside good. All plumbing was way to old. These owners are really looking for the dollar and spending little. Got my money but never going back.
- Roger (10/5): Like shabby chic retro? - you'll love it! - The Oasis motel is reminiscent of travellers motels if the 1950s before the advent of the chain motels. Family owned, it does show signs of wear and it's age, however it's in a fair, not dilapidated condition. Bear this in mind when booking. Want full daily housekeeping and concierge? Go somewhere else. The Oasis doesn't have that, but then again, it's reflected in the room price.
There's a lot of 'average' about the Oasis, and a lot of good points as well, so always bear the economical price in mind. You get what you pay for.
Would I stay there again? Sure.
- Vanessa (2/5): Don't waste your time or money!! Bugs!! - We checked into our room noticed lawn hadn't been mowed in forever. Entered our room which smelled of mold and looked old and small. Tv didn't work and in order to lock the door you had to push super hard to get it to lock. Took 2 people to get it unlocked.Found a cockroach about 3 minutes later checked out. Woman who checked me in and out didn't want to be bothered.
- Teo (2/5): - Arrived to hotel around 7pm no one was in the office to check in. Had to call a listed number on a piece of looseleaf paper. Maintenance man came to “check” me in, considering he only wrote down my info. Got in the room it smelled like stale air. Head out to run some errands got back late at night to find no heat working what so ever. Along with a 3 prong chord stuck in a 2 prong outlet. Needless to say this location is horrendous.
- jean (2/5): - no good, 1st gave us a room that was already occupied, pipes making noise all night
