- Lisa (6/5): - The location is wonderful! It’s just steps from the north side of the Wildwood boardwalk. The staff is very pleasant and let us in the room an hour prior to check-in. We went in the pool several times. It’s very clean with quality, comfortable lounge chairs. The problems: the room itself smelled very strongly of mold/mildew. All clothes that I took out of my bag became damp which was disgusting. My leather sandals were even damp. Something I wish I knew in advance: you get a sheet to cover the mattress and one blanket. I could not use the blanket. I don’t believe these beige blankets are washed after each guest because I was watching the cleaning staff and they only removed the white sheet and pillowcases. I can’t possibly use a blanket that many others used. Luckily I had my oversized beach towel which was all I used for a bedsheet. If I was staying any longer than 3 nights, I would have found a store to purchase new bedding for myself. Of course between the smell, the dampness and using a towel for a blanket, sleeping was not pleasant. I can only hope that the mildew and dampness was exclusive to the room I rented. I didn’t speak to other guests about this. I can’t recommend The Condor, nor will I be able to stay there again which is a shame due to it’s excellent proximity to the beach and boardwalk.

- Lisha (4/5): - There was a power outage during our stay. No electricity, no AC, no hot shower, and pitch dark in the night. We had to charge our phones in the car. The guests had to pay in full with cash. No discount or anything. I know that the power outage was not the hotel's fault, but we didn't get what we were paid for. Considering the price we paid, it's terrible and disappointing.

- Amanda (8/5): - We had a great stay at the Condor! Excellent location. Right at the end of the boardwalk. Within walking distance of the first activity pier, but far enough away that it was quiet. Beach was fantastic--clean, safe, and free. Staff was excellent! Room was very cramped (deluxe with kitchenette), but that didn't matter as we spent most of the time outside the room anyway. Thank you so much for a WONDERUL vacation!!!

The bathroom had no counters, no shelves. You had to put your toiletries on the toilet lid. Looks like they haven't done much since the 70s.
- Rachel (4/5): Not a happy experience - They did not have the kids listed even though I put them on when booking. They told me it was a hotels.com mistake and charged me extra for my kids so I ended up paying about another 100 even though we were all in same room. They have cameras all over and follow and watch you. Husband is very friendly and so is daughter but wofe runs the show and she is not friendly or nice at all. Pool closes at 6 while all hotels around are swimming till at least 10. All lights are off and place looks abandoned at about 8pm...In WILDWOOD. I had my faughter ther for a her 13th bday with a few friends. It was me and one ofther mom. They treated us like we were 21 there to party. Kids had to whisper in room at 9pm. Again we were in Wildwood. The rest of the island was partyi g around us while we tip toed. It was a terrible experience and as a advid Wildwood goer, I will NEVER stay there. Rooms were also old and musty. Stuff falling apart. Air conditioner was blowing black stuff all over the bed.

Parking is tight as usual with hotels down the shore. Ice machines cost money which is a bummer especially when you treck down with ice bucket and no money! The air conditioner was sufficient for the living area it was in, but even at the lowest temp, highest fan setting we couldnt get the bedroom below 77 °F (2 room efficiency type 4). Overall I would reccommend this room at this hotel and i would stay here again.

Location is good if you are there for boardwalk. But this place needs an urgent renovation.

After my head was spinning trying to weigh out the options I finally landed on The Condor. This motel was more than I expected! Staff was friendly, rooms were very clean and the grounds were well maintained! It was right next to the beach entrance and the start of the boardwalk, where you can hop right on the tram to get to the piers or walk and shop along the way. I will definitely stay again for any future trips to Wildwood!
