• Stephen (7/5): A satisfactory stay, basic amenities but clean and well-located - opposite Metro station Line 1. - Breakfast was simple but all very fresh, croissants and bread, coffee machine (just about adequate, but a Nespresso machine would have been better) and freshly squeezed orange juice. It is taken in the small reception area, but this did prove adequate during our stay. Overall the hotel is very "Parisienne" and perhaps on the expensive side for what is offered, but that is probably Paris prices. Hotel dealt with our only complaint very well - see below. Tea and coffee-making facilities was limited to a tray of instant beverages and a kettle which had to be placed on the floor to reach the electric socket. Used mugs were not automatically replaced. There had plainly been an ongoing problem with a leak on the 2nd floor, which eventually caused a false fire alarm at 2am, leading to a disturbed night. That said, the hotel dealt very well with our complaint about this to our complete satisfaction.
• Nicola (7/5): Stunning location, but very compact - Location fabulous, easy walking area and close to metro. Warm welcome in reception. Great views. The room was tiny.... Only a foot either side of the bed. Nowhere to put suitcases. Felt a bit ripped off pricewise. Tiny lift to fourth floor- put our bags in and walked up!
• Anne (6/5): Not quite as positive as we would have hoped given the water supply issues & tradesman on site. - Wonderful location - 1 minute from the metro and the various bus connections. We have stayed in the Saint Paul district before and this was a big plus for us. We had a lovely room, the staff were great but sadly the hotel endured some plumbing issues during our stay which was beyond their control. However, it did impact on our experience - we had no water for the best part of 24 hours which made our stay more challenging than you need - this is a one off I’m sure so this aside, we would be very happy to recommend Hotel Emile.

• Alberto (8/5): Parigi è sempre Parigi e viverla da “parigini”, nel cuore della città e di un bel quartiere non ha prezzo - Molto piccola, in perfetto stile francese, ma nel posto giusto per essere ovunque in pochi passi. Personale accogliente anche in spazi appunto molto piccoli (come quello riservato alla colazione, all’ingresso) Scale adatte a giovani, ascensore minuscolo e vasca da bagno in stanza (ma a Parigi è appunto abbastanza normale)

Fiyata göre olanaklar çok düşük. Kahve makinesi bile yoktu. Ortak alandaki lavabo bile daha temiz ve güzel kokuyordu.

Værelset er så lille at man kan ikke vende om uden at ramme noget. Hvis du har mere end lille rygsæk så skal du ikke her. Er du højre end 170 cm så hænge dine føder over sengen.

Marais sehr schönes Quartier mit vielen Caffees und Restaurants. Das Bad ist offen, Lavabo und ganzes Bad nach dem Duschen unbenutzbar, da alles nass. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. WC separat.

• Q2506VXjoyd (10/5): Perfect Marais location for walkability and restaurants - Our experience started when we first entered the lobby and was met by Gwendolyn. She was very pleasant and genuinely happy to meet us. The “lobby” was an open room to the front entrance and it was where you could meet other guests for breakfast or a comfortable place to sit and watch people out of the big front windows. Breakfast was very tasty and the same every morning. 7am to 10am. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a nice touch along with a selection of teas and different kinds of coffee and hot chocolate. A selection of pastry and bread and I’d highly recommend the flaky chocolate buns which were just so delicious. We had originally booked a room no higher than the 3rd floor but we were moved to a room on the 6th floor which turned out to be perfect. The room was a decent size for two people with an adequate amount of shelving and closet space. We both had just carry on size luggage and they fit into the cupboards. The beds were comfortable and we both slept well. We had two twin beds that were basically pushed together but it worked for us. We both wore earplugs at night so can’t really attest to the noise of the hotel in the middle of the night. I used the elevator everyday and it was only good for one person with a small amount of luggage. I didn’t have to wait long at all for it to come to me. As a bonus we had our own private balcony which we took advantage of everyday. I was nice after a long day to come back and sit outside for a bit and just people watch. The shower area was actually quite good and was semi private. It was definitely a wet room with the shower and sink in one space. It was spotlessly clean and the toilet was in a separate room. A lot of reviews state that the shower area was open and in the room but this particular room (61) was not like that. The location being in Marais was the best you can get for walkability and restaurants. There is a subway entrance across the street but we didn’t use it as we could walk and enjoy our surroundings. The only places we didn’t walk to was the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Élysées and we took an Uber. There is also a grocery store across the street which was handy to pick up a few things. If you’re a woman coming to shop for pharmacy skin care there is a very well appointed pharmacy just across the street. I would definitely stay here again for all the reasons mentioned.
• Stefan (5/5): Naja - Die Lage neben der Metro Saint Paul ist wirklich sehr gut. Rund um das Hotel auch sehr viele Lokale und Restaurants. Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich Zimmer extrem klein. Badezimmer sehr rustikal und relativ viel Schimmel an den Fliesenrändern. Türe zur Toilette ist nur einen Spalt zu öffnen, da das Bett im Weg steht. Betten extrem weich.

Frukosten var mycket enkel och bestod bara av kaffe/te, juice, bröd, smör och marmelad. Inga övriga pålägg och ingen yoghurt, flingor eller frukt. Ingen mjölk till teet. Liten hiss för knappt två personer. Inget för den som har svårt för trappor. Dubbelsäng som var smalare och kortare än normalt. Dusch bakom glasväggar i rummet så inget för den som vill duscha utan insyn.

• Stephanie (9/5): Incredibly friendly, helpful staff in a quaint, boutique Le Marais hotel - wonderful experience! - The friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff was impeccable. I wish all of the four we saw regularly were working when we left so we could have thanked each of them personally. The location is perfect. If a small, hospitable, clean boutique hotel in a wonderful neighborhood is what you are looking for, Hotel Emile le Marais should be high on your list. We loved knowing that we could grab a quick slice of bagette with butter and jam, or a croissant and cappuccino to start our day in the hotel lobby each morning. A taxi cab queue is just a short walk away if that is a preferred form of transportation.

Room spotless, balcony with great views of locality. Bathroom 10/10 for comfort, design, ease of use. Would stay here again very happily. I would not have known what actions to take if there’d been a fire. The information was probably there somewhere.

Breakfast room is the reception area which is tiny. I know Paris hotels are small but this is rediculous. We only stayed 1 of our 4 booked nights

• Nancy (1/5): Horrific experience disturbing services - Nothing The most horrific hotel I’ve stayed. Website shows beautiful pictures of the hotel but the reality is disgusting - no lobby area, no luggage room area, rooms are not well maintained and its sickening they don’t have door or curtain to the bathroom. You’re supposed to display your naked body to your friends and family while showering. Who is bloody mind ever thought this was ok! It’s sick and disgusting. I’ll never recommend this place to anyone.
• Bella26UK (2/5): Horrible hotel, bad service, website phot is wrong, no bathroom door and it seems it’s normal, bloody unethical - One of the worst hotel I have stayed. The hotel staffs are not bothered, the lobby is nothing compared to what you have seen on the booking picture, it looks like a hostel. There is no bathroom door and apparently it’s normal! It’s been hours I’ve been trying to get hold of customer service services of booking and no one responded. The hotel staffs are just not helpful and they are busy with their stuffs. We pay so much money for a hotel that's nothing to decent to what its stated. The staff stated it's normal! It's sickening to think this is normal. We were friends staying and it's been a horrible experience.

Le rapport qualité-prix est tout à fait correct. Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais de bonne qualité. Le personnel est très agréable Le verre de la douche; s'il était opaque ce serait mieux.

• Greive (4/5): Ok verblijf maar de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet. - De locatie van het hotel is erg goed. Er werd gewerkt aan de gevel van het hotel dus heel veel overlast vanaf 08:00 's ochtends. Het hotel heeft ons hier een week voor het verblijf wel een email over gestuurd maar toen was ombouwen geen optie meer. Douchen moet in bad en dat is niet van deze tijd. Ook waren de handdoeken van het hotel dun en versleten. Bed en beddengoed was matig. Ontbijt is ronduit slecht, een paar mini croissants in een bak naast de koffiemachine en wat potjes jam. Daar moet je het mee doen.

• Sylvia (10/5): Amazing location which added to our wonderful stay in Paris - Fantastic location and super friendly staff on the front reception desk. The obit disappointing things was the scaffold and mesh blocking our views as I had selected the hotel for the balcony and street views. Totally understand that this is out of anyone’s control and we still loved the hotel
