• Katayoun (10/5): Summer vacation - couple - A cozy, welcoming and friendly stay with great view of the lake. The host is amazing, going out of his way to make your stay the best it can be. The house is well kept, well-sized rooms, comfortable beds, good WiFi and great breakfast! Do book your parking lot in advance. There is free parking available nearby but few spots and you don’t want to be driving around looking for parking. We will certainly go back!
• Jens Jakob (10/5): Great experience on all levels - A great place to stay. We felt very welcome right from the start and it has everything you need. A place we would love to come back to. Not only because of the nice location in a quieter and less intensily touristed area of Lake Como; but above all, because it is a place in which you feel like "home" with the hospitality, service and very kind host. Also the attention to detail is very high. Nothing seems left to chance and the host provies a lot of conveniences, including a very detailed and intricate manual for all relevant attractions and ideas for activitives. Great place with a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
• Janne (10/5): 10/10 - We had great stay in studio family room. There was beds for all four of us and washing machine and large fridge. Air condition was good. What was best in our stay was the host Massimo, who helped us greatly. Breakfast was superb and service in overall.

• Gary (10/5): - The Casa Della Música is the BEST B&B we've ever had the pleasure to stay at. If you are excited (but clueless!) tourists finding themselves in Lake Como, this residence is the only place to stay! Actually, I'd recommend this place to everyone, no matter their experience! Massimo is the BEST host we've ever had-- from making the most amazing plates of food to assisting with locating car rides and finding personalized activities during your stay, this guy covers all of your bases so you don't have to worry one bit! The rooms are tidy and cleaned by the host himself, and below I've included photos of the amazing views from and near the location. From the host to the rooms, and the food and personal assistance, we have no complaints whatsoever- only positives! Massimo crosses the language barrier to show his genuine care for you during your stay, and his personality is like no other! We never had to worry or stress, and our stay here ended up being our favorite part of Italy itself! There is a reason why this B&B is rated so highly; you'll have to see for yourself! • Peter D (10/5): Beautiful b&b with a very friendly, helpful host. - Massimo was an extremely nice host and he prepared an excellent breakfast every day. Massimo made our day - always happy and helpful. The spacious room was very clean (cleaned every day) and had a very nice view to the lake. As an excellent possibility it was possible to have dinner in the b&b twice a week to a cost of 25 euros per person for 3 courses, 1/4l of wine and water! We can highly recommend the place and would like to come back again.

• caj (10/5): Fantastisk - Jag kan verkligen rekommendera detta boende. Massimo är service orienterad. Han hjälpte oss med allt vi behövde veta. Frukosten var magnifik. Bröd,toast yoghurt Omelette eller scramble ägg och bacon. Juice kaffe te, fruktcocktail salami ost skinka, grönsaker till smörgåsen.Casa Della ligger precis nedanför Olcio stationen i Lake Como. Man är tvungen att bära väskan ca 150-200 meter då det ej går att dra en liten bit.Vi kom med tåg från Milano. Perfekt färdmedel om ni vill slippa leta parkering. Vi gick upp till tågstationen (5-7minuter). Tåg går i varje riktning varje timme. Lätt att åka till Varenna eller Bellano. Vi kan bara rekommendera Casa Della då Massimo är en riktigt varm hjärtad person, som är mån om gästernas trivsel. Utsikten från vårt rum ner mot sjön var helt fantastisk.

We stayed on the 3rd floor that offered a front and rear balcony, just amazing
• Neil (10/5): Lovely place, fantastic host, great room. - We had the superior room, which was huge, very comfortable, and has a wonderful view of the lake. The host, Massimo, is incredibly nice and friendly. The breakfasts were great and plenty to eat! The B&B is also just around the corner from the train station so perfect for getting around the lake. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll certainly be staying here.

Bra läge med närhet till tåget som på några minuter tar dig till andra orter vid sjön, till Milano etc. Nära till badplatsen. Rummet är rent och rymligt och försett med allt du kan tänkas behöva. Sköna sängar. Vi hade en jättestor balkong med härlig utsikt över sjön. Frukosten är fantastisk och värden Massimo är så trevlig och hjälpsam, bra på att ge tips om aktiviteter och helt toppen på alla sätt.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by Massimo and a cozy, inviting atmosphere with a drink of our choice on arrival. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Upon opening the shutters in the morning you are spoiled with the most amazing view of the granite cliffs and the water of Lake Como which even on an overcast day is spectacular! Each morning, Massimo treated us to a delicious homemade breakfast, made with fresh, local ingredients and which kept you satiated until your evening meal. The attention to detail and personal touches of the property made our stay feel like a home away from home. The train station is a few minutes walk and connected to all the places along the lake for days out which Massimo provides all the information for in his very own itinerary book. I highly recommend Casa Della Musica to anyone looking for a relaxing, adventurous and memorable getaway.

He helped us with dinner reservations and we especially loved the private dinner with the elderly cook. We took the train to Varenna and then the train and ferry to Bellagio. Very close to the train station. Great breakfast. When the last train accidentally took us to Varenna instead of Olcio he even offered to come get us but we ended up finding a taxi for $23 euros. He is truly a Super Host!

We went by car and that was perfect by having the opportunity to park in the house's garage (at a very small fee) and use the car for driving around Como lake. • Talitha (10/5): I’m already ready to go back! - This is an amazing place. Casa della Musica is actually in a small town called Olcio, one train stop up from Mandello. It is situated not a five minute walk from the train station. The house is comfortable, modern, and clean, with every thoughtful amenity. Massimo is a delightful host. He took such good care of us throughout our stay. Breakfast every morning. Suggestions on things to do. Chatted when we wanted to chat. Left us alone in the garden when we wanted to be quiet. He is the host by which all future hosts will be judged! Just book your stay. You won’t regret it. I’m already ready to go back.

• Joanne (10/5): - My partner and I had an amazing stay at B&B Casa Della Musica in May 2023! We stayed in the Mozart room which was huge and had an amazing view of the lake, the bed was so comfortable too - one of the best we've ever stayed in! The best part of our stay though was the host Massimo, he was just incredible! He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing us with train tickets, giving us advice on what to do/see and even buying a special cake to help us celebrate my partner's 30th birthday :) He was always on whatsapp to help us, even when there was a landslide which affected trains he stayed in constant contact with us to make sure we got back to the B&B safely. The breakfast was super delicious and all made by Massimo himself, honestly we couldn't have asked for more! The area itself is great, really quiet and so easy to get into the more touristy areas (only 20 mins to Varenna & Massimo provides you with the tickets). There aren't many places to eat but Massimo recommended Villa Maggio (10 min walk away) where you get an amazing home-cooked meal for only 20 euros per person, definitely recommend! We hope we will be able to come back one day, thank you Massimo for everything!!

Massimo der Besitzer hat uns sehr nett empfangen, Tipps gegeben und mit einem umwerfenden Frühstück verwöhnt! Der Restaurant Tipp Villa Maggio von ihm ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Grösse, kleiner Kühlschrank, Teekocher und genug Stauraum auch im Badezimmer. Die Matratze sind bequem und Sauberkeit ist topp🤩Seesicht ist wunderschön am Morgen wie auch am Abend. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum, wenn man Unverträglichkeiten hat, werden gleich Alternativen angeboten👍Der sehr nahe Bahnhof kann für den einen eine Freude sein, da die Tickets auch direkt beim Besitzer bezogen werden können, ist für mich als leicht Schläfer leider ein Fluch, da die Fahrten um 5.00 los gehen. Wir werden aber sicher wieder kommen❤️

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gemütlich, hell, mit Blick auf den See und richtig schön! Massimo zaubert jeden morgen ein Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt! Auch sonst steht er bei allem mit Rat und Tat bereit, hilft mit Ausflugstips (Motorradtouren die wir ohne ihn nie gefunden hätten) , Restaurantempfehlungen usw. usw.!! Wir hatten wünderschöne Tage und werden Massimo und die "Casa della Musica" mit Sicherheit wieder besuchen!!

• Andrew (10/5): Peace and Quiet with the perfect Host. - We had three nights here in Casa Della Musica in the small village of Olcio on Lake Como. Massimmo was the perfect host. We had an entertaining three days. My daughter loved the piano and the pool on the sun terrace. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and a different fresh cooked style of eggs every morning. Real Italian coffee of course from the stove percolator. If you are looking for a relaxed easy getaway I can highly recommend. Very close to the small village station and on the main line to from Lecco. Massimmo will definitely look after you. Hope to be back again!

• Marsen (10/5): Bach room - Massimo is a great host, the place is very clean, organized and very specious. I was greeted with a beer which is a great touch. Everything that one needs is provided, plus a lot of details printed on guide books that help explore the area. The breakfast was also delicious and prepared fresh, plenty of food too. I will definitely stay again at Massimo's house if I return to Como lake in the future.
• Maximilian (10/5): Fantastiskt! - Mycket bra, Massimo är väldigt välkomnande! VI hade trippelrummet längst upp med 2 balkonger och fantastisk utsikt över Comosjön. Det är gångavstånd till en mindre strand (sten) och området är väldigt mysigt. Huset man får bo är fantastiskt och frukost samt övrigt var väldigt bra. Det finns en liten pool inne på gården som man kan svalka sig i om det behövs. Massimo erbjöd privat parkering i hans garage för en billig peng dessutom! Mandello del Lario ligger nära Varenna och Lecco och det är lätt och det går snabbt att ta sig dit. Kan inte annat än rekommenderas!
• Pouranng (10/5): Toller Gastgeber Super gute Infrastruktur - Wir hatten als Familie dort eine tolle ruhige Zeit. Die Bahnstation direkt in der Nähe und der Strand ebenfalls. Der Gastgeber "Massimo" ist ein Engel und macht alles, damit man dort eine tolle Zeit hat. Wir haben uns in den Ort und in dieses Haus verliebt und können jedem Casa la Musica empfehlen.
• Bretty (10/5): The Fabulous Italian Experience - This was one of the best family holidays we have ever had. Our host Massimo made us feel like we were family and had known him for years. He welcomed us with a smile and cool drink.Massimo is amazing and really made the holiday. He is knowledgable, friendly and will do anything to help. The place is beautiful, clean, amazing views of the mountains and lakes. Within walking distance of a beach, ice cream parlour and restaurant. The train station is a stones throw away and only a few stops from other places. Massimo has train tickets to get you to your destination. An information packed folder was in our room with places to visit, train times etc. This was even in various languages with pictures and details. We highly recommend this holiday to anyone. Peaceful, stunning, relaxing, delicious food and lots to do depending on personal interests. The room we had was cosy, well designed and super clean.Most importantly fantastic views. Massimo kept in contact before we even arrived. Pick this place and you won’t want to go home. • Melissa (10/5): - Wonderful place with a plentiful breakfast in the garden, a beautiful view over the lake and easy driving distance to Varenna and Lecco (to return the rental car). Friendly and helpful host offered lots of information for touring the surrounding area. Wifi was a bit slow at times.
• FLORIAN (10/5): Une étape conviviale - Un accueil charmant, musical et plein de bons conseils de Massimo. Un très bon rapport qualité / prix pour cet appartement en rez de chaussée de maison. Situé le long du lac, à moins de 10 minutes de Varenna (charmant petit village typique) qui permet de rejoindre Bellagio en navette (avec ou sans voiture). Une étape idéale à l'encart des sentiers touristiques... idéale pour un voyage en famille.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and quiet place with great view - Nice place with great view on the lake from our balcony We had some problems to get the keys and had to wait in town during the evening But Massimo is very helpful and friendly Would definitely recommend this place for a stay in the Italian lakes area!!!
• Christine (10/5): Serence and Peaceful Stay on the Lake Como - Massimo was a most kind, attentive and accommodating host. He greeted me each morning with a cheery good. morning, make an excellent breakfast for me, answer any questions I had, even ordered my pizza and had it delivered my first night. My room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The environment was serene and restful. I enjoyed peaceful sleep and active days walking on safe paths to neighboring towns. One night I was relaxing on the patio and Massimo brought me a beer. So sweet. :-)
• Jennifer (10/5): Perfection - Mássimo made us feel like we were family. It was a gear location with breath taking view. We got breakfast, voice if Italian or American. I would definitely go back and stay longer!!!
