• Roger (10/5): Well located and good value hotel - The hotel offers good value for money with a decent breakfast and room facilities. It's well located and reasonably close to local shops, ATMs and places of interest in Colombo. The staff service was good and I would stay here again.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Disappointed - Booked this place since it was close to my work and on the main city area. Arrived to see it was a small hotel. The bed and pillows had hair on them. The room and walls were dirty. They cleaned the bed after my complaint. There was only a stool to sit and work. No chair. The dustbin and the walls were so dirty. The breakfast was very minimal with some bread and fruits. I just had a coffee and left. I was very disappointed.

Please see the attached pic. Why don't you try? I recommend that you bring toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner and shower gel. ホテルは街中で海も近く、ギャラリーカフェやベアフットも近所にあります。 安い分アメニティは無いので、必ず持参した方が良いです！ ホテルの向かい辺りにローカルの食堂があるので、ぜひトライしてみてください！ 美味しいです！

• Verified traveler (10/5): - My fiancé and I stayed here for one night before heading to Kandy. The place was a bit hard to find at first as the sign from the outside is hard to read. We are sure glad that we found it though! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms super clean! Located on a Main Street with tons of different shopping outlets and restaurants. We had breakfast on the rooftop which was also very good!

• daisy (4/5): Not satisfy - Very clean and helpfull staffs but do not get enough water in the wash room. I stayed 6 nights and two of those days at morning did not had water. Got hot or cold water always not enough water to get shower. but staffs tried to help its not happened queickely. My husband could not finishe his shower. water service in the room is very bad. brake fast is normal not any thing special.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good if you are searching for something basic - It was a relatively ok stay but probably wouldn't stay again solely based on we were travelling as a couple. Probably more suited for backpackers, a group of friends on a budget or someone after something very basic. Bathrooms smelt a bit which permeated the room. View wasn't anything special. Room was clean and neat and the staff over emails and in person were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was easy. Good location but on a busy street so keep in mind you can always hear the hustle and bustle. Breakfast on the roof top was a lovely inclusion and super tasty!!!

• Jari-Pekka (8/5): I am happy for staying here - I am really satisfied to my visit at Ivy Lane Colombo. I got really good customer service and all people expect one seemed to be in good mood all the time. Room spacious and balcony is always good extra. Breakfast was pretty good, like there were few different kind of fruits and you had chance to chooce omelette or noodles (they prepared that after your wish).

• PPYF (10/5): A relief from the city, esp uparrival or departure - We are a family of four and had the loft room. It was great! Really comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and decorated very nicely/different. A/C was really needed as an escape from the heat! The sheets were very clean and pressed, the breakfast was above average (eggs, toast, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, and a cooked grain). The hotel is a bit of a walk from the markets and Fort/Pettah/park, but it's an easy 200R tuk tuk ride away. I think it's really great value. We even decided to stay another night to just chill out before our midnight flight. The best thing about this place is the staff. The young group of guys working here are chill, cool, friendly, nice and calm, always smiling. We had some complications with ordering the cab on the app and couldn't get our taxi. The guy stayed with us outside until we worked it all out with the app (even talked to the driver on the phone). He waited until after we got into the car before he went back into the hotel (all of this took about 25 minutes), but he made us feel safe and comfortable while we stressed to get to the airport. I also saw another staff guy help a woman who had complications with her booking (expedia's fault) and he handled it VERY calmly as she was on the verge of freaking out. I would definitely come here again! It's great value and service (& clean!)

• Git (8/5): Enkelt och bra hotell - Enkelt fräscht hotell i en stökig stad. Colombo är en stor livlig stad men med hjälp av tuk tuk tar man sig lätt runt.
• Roy (8/5): Very Convenient hotel close to all the amenities - This is a good hotel and value for money. I arrived early and despite this they were able to give me my room. The rooms are modern, clean and pleasant. It is placed in a central location, close to Majestic Plaza, the Fort and Colombo 7. If there is one let down, its the noise of the traffic on Galle Road. Try to get an room not facing the road.
• jules (8/5): Modern, small hotel - Nice modern, basic hotel, on a main road but fairly quiet. A good tuck tuk ride from the few tourist attractions and station, close to the sea (but no beach close to hotel). Very friendly and helpful staff.

• Alexander (6/5): Als Ankunftshotel bestens geeignet - Nun ja, Frühstück wirklich total britisch, bis auf mein geliebtes Sri Lanka Omelette. Zimmerreinigung, in 9 Tagen 3x?? Wifi extrem langsam, teilweise gar nicht zum einloggen. Personal sehr freundlich. Aber im gesamten Service fehlt es total. Von der Zimmerausstattung, man könnte einen kleinen Kühlschrank reinstellen.

The only thing that put us a little bit of was a fungus on the wall, water dripping from an AC and the fact that it smelled of a mold at times. It wasn't all around the place, so it wasn't too bad, but some people might find it annoying. Besides that we liked it.

• Volodymyr (8/5): проживание в двухместном номере Ivy Lane Colombo - Несмотря на то, что номер бронировался с завтраком, на рецепции парень (имени не знаю, поэтому опишу - полного телосложения, рост примерно 1,70 м) сообщил, что завтраки у нас по брони не включены. Распечатка брони у меня была на русском языке, поэтому доказать, что я бронировал номер с завтраком, я не смог. Этот факт меня расстроил, я уверен что он меня обманул, с целью брать дополнительные деньги за завтрак. Завтрак у них в интерконтинентальном стиле - яичница или 2 соевые сосиски, тосты, масло и джем в порционных пластиковых контейнерах, чай в пакетике или растворимый кофе в пакетике, фруктовый фреш, фрукты (ананас, бананы). Номер порадовал - большой с кондиционером. Окна металлопластиковые очень плотные и защищали от внешнего шума исходящего от дороги с большим потоком транспорта. В санузле душевая кабинка ограждена стеклом от унитаза с туалетной бумагой, что удобно, также есть умывальник с мылом и одноразовым шампунем. Каждый день номер убирали - меняли полотенца, оставляли новую туалетную бумагу, мыло и одноразовый шампунь. А также в номер приносили 2 бутылочки воды по 0,5 литра. Т.к. заселение по расписанию в 14:00, а мы приехали раньше, нам позволили оставить вещи возле рецепции, и мы пошли прогуляться. Несмотря на то, что вернулись мы в 13:00, номер для нас был уже готов.
• Raja (8/5): A nice hotel in the heart of Colombo - +ve - Well furnished room. Fully working AC. Clean bathroom. 24X7 working lift. Nice and well behaved English speaking helpful staff. Sound proof room with view. Good buffet breakfast at the well furnished roof top with nice city view. East to reach in and around. Good restaurant near by. Pick up and drop airport service. Free wify with a good speed in the room and lobby. -ve - No room service for lunch and dinner. They have one restaurant which operates from 6 PM to 11 PM. Buy many options re available near by for lunch. Only 2 bottle of (500ml each) free mineral water which is not sufficient. However we have managed to bought from near by departmental store.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Slightly disappointing - I booked to stay only to arrive to find out 'my room had an issue' and I was transferred to a lesser quality, local accommodation B&B. This was upon my attempt to check-in. I booked here for my second and final night to find out there was no hot water for my room to shower. The manager offered a partial refund until I demanded 50% back of my paid one night's due to the serial inconveniences I incurred with this hotel. The resolution was only fair. The state of the hotel was ok overall and most restaurants are a quick tuk-tuk ride away.
