Guest Reviews
- Catherine (10/5): - Location and comfy beds! Nothing, it was all good!
- rutkoskie (8/5): -
- LESTER L (10/5): EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING. - IT WAS PERFACT, STAFF HELPFUL, ROOMS SPOTLESS, LOCATION GREAT, AND NAPPANNEE IS A WONDERFUL LITTLE TOWN THAT I WOULD COME BACK TO JUST TO VISIT. NOTHING.
- Susan (9/5): -
- Merrilee (7/5): - Close to Bremen
Brenda and Oledia
Amish waffles
Amish atmosphere Pillows
Limited hot breakfast items
- Kent (6/5): Adequate for the price. - Clean room and good shower water pressure. Moldy smelling heater and room. Loud trains passing by location. Dim room lighting.
- Young (10/5): - Everyone was wonderful.
- Gerald (10/5): Country Inn/Country Comforts - It was a great place to stay with only one exception that was of no control of the Inn, the train was right across the road.
So if you don't mind trains every few hours all day and night,
Friendly/ welcoming staff, clean rooms, and good continental breakfast. The train across the road passes by too often.
But after the first day it wasn't too bad.
- Stephanie (8/5): Would recommend. - The location was convenient. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. The bathtub was very slippery and I fell getting out. Other than that great experience.
- Madden (10/5): It was very nice & convenient for our one-night stay, - It was fine. Nice assortment of choices. More cereal choices. Some bakery items.
- Petkovic (7/5): great location, but needs to improve breakfast and some sound proofing. - not that good, no eggs or sausage or bacon. it was ok but a bit short. refrigerator in my room did not work. bring ear plugs if your a light sleeper due to trains passing in the night.
- Miriam (10/5): -
- Jeff (8/5): Great place to stay, everything you need without frills - Location was okay, layout of room was good. Friendly staff was great friendly and helpful. Room heater was hard to maintain comfortable temperature. It was okay but room would get hot and we would have to adjust settings then it would get cold and go and adjust again. We would stay there again no problem
- Margaret (8/5): - It was fine. Not any protein option
- Larry (10/5): -
- Deborah (9/5): Your hotel was a clean, well maintained property, with friendly staff, and fit into my budget well. - Location was good. Staff were wonderful. Cleanliness was outstanding. Cost effective. Breakfast was slightly disappointing, as hot proteins would have been a nice addition. I would stay again just because of the staff and Cleanliness. Addition of hot proteins to breakfast selections would be nice.
- Douglas (8/5): - Pillows were too fat and square instead of rectangle.
- Brandon (10/5): Awesome place awesome workers - Very clean very nice people Only thing was the train could hear it going by several times
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Kendra (10/5): -
- Carolyn (7/5): - Parking near door. Could hear all the noises around us.
- Mary (10/5): Overall it was a good location for the Notre Dame game. Nice and quiet. Courteous staff. - Clean and quiet. Maybe just a few more options for breakfast, but it was fine.
- adam (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Penny (8/5): -
- Linda (10/5): Would highly recommend and I would stay here again. - Breakfast was very good. Room was very clean and comfortable. The handicapped bathroom was perfect. The staff was friendly and ready to help. Hotel was quiet other than constant trains which sounded like they were coming through the room. Better windows to help cut down outside noises-like the trains.

- The man, the myth, the legend. (10/5): - The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are good sized and clean. The rooms have a quaint charm about them, with quilts tops on the beds and county styling of decor. The wifi works great, and you have satellite TV also. Beds were comfortable and clean. There was even a hand written note from the management on the nightstand. The bathroom was large and well lit, tub/shower very clean, and the shower head will drown you. You have a clean fridge and microwave in your room too. Very secure you need your room key to get into the rooms entry, then again to get in the room. The property is very well maintained. I look froward to going back. It is in a good location for the area, things did seem a little far away but that is also what make the place.
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Nancy (10/5): -
- martha (7/5): Average . - Scanty and not good Options beside a waffle
Coffee tasted like dirty water
Need elevator for second floor esp for those of us over 75.

- Trudy (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Mark (8/5): - Nice place; would stay again
- Lisa (10/5): - Friendly helpful staff
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, the train noise didn't bother us at all.
- Lori (2/5): - Not enough towels in bathroom for 2 queen bed room. Very thin too. Fan is broken in bathroom. Train is so loud! Horn blows every hour. Walls are super thin. Don’t stay here.
- Terry (10/5): - Staff was friendly. Room was nice and clean. Nice town.
- Rodney (10/5): Lovely hotel short drive to ND - We stayed while attending Notre Dame football game. Short 30 minute drive to stadium! Clean rooms and very nice staff! Air conditioning ice cold! This hotel was amazing and we will be back I'm sure!
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Very clean rooms
- Kreckman (10/5): Nappanee overnight - Refrigerator, microwave, clean, staff excellent. Needs better lighting.
- Sandra (10/5): - Oue room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. We had an issue with the television other than that everything was very satisfactory.
- Tommie (8/5): - The back door that should have been an entry way, did NOT have a lock on it. Anyone could have walked in and caused a problem or went up the back stairs to rooms upstairs to stay.
- robertpX8687OK (10/5): Best place to stay in the area if you are a RV transporter. - Great place to stay if you are a RV transporter. Great room rates, good breakfast options. They have a pool. Room Maintenance could be better and the train noise can be annoying but it’s still the best place to stay in the area
- Brian (10/5): - This was probably the cleanest hotel ive ever stayed in, fantastic.. people were friendly and helpful..
- James (10/5): - Fantastic staff. Large comfortable rooms.
- Betsy L (2/5): - Dirty carpeting, musty rooms, garbage in the hallway, carpeting tattered and stained, floor of pool had visible areas of gathered dirt and debris. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke with heavy stinky room spray trying to disguise it. Awful hotel.
- Shawn (10/5): - Fantastic!
- shaundac2014 (10/5): great place to stay - This hotel was very clean. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The free breakfast consisted of a waffle making machine with 2 flavors of waffles to make, bagels and toast, cereal, fruit and yogurts. Very adequate to start your day. Parking was very easy and secure. The area surrounding the hotel was very nice also in this small town. I would highly recommend staying here.

- Stephanie (8/5): -
- Josiah (10/5): - Great peaceful and clean
- Nicole (10/5): - Cute quaint and clean
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Good little place with a fun theme. Great for travel in rural area!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Loved this place, super cute and very clean. Everyone was very nice and breakfast was basic but good. There are traintracks across the street so that may bother some people but we were fine with it. Highly recommend.
- Lorinda (8/5): It was a nice clean place to stay - Good location
- Carla (7/5): Nice price - nice stay -
- Lisa (10/5): Quiet, clean, friendly accommodations. - Nice location. Clean. Friendly. We had 4 guests but were only given two sets of towels. No information about how to call front desk. Called the phone number, no answer. Had to wait until morning to get the extra towels. Breakfast was very limited.

- Elaine (5/5): Not impressed - No coffee maker in the room. The room smelled musky. I think they cleaned the floors with the same dirty water. Very outdated
- Scott (9/5): Overall a pleasant experience, minus the trains and parking. - Close to event we were attending. Clean rooms, comfortable beds convenient location. Trains. Active line directly across the road from hotel. Lack of parking for car hauler trailers.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (9/5): Superb - Very clean! Location was great. Room had everything i needed Pool was very small
- Phillips (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lori (10/5): - Easy check in/check out. Very clean rooms, quiet and lovely atmosphere when walking into the lobby. Very much a 'comfort' type of feeling.
- Laura (10/5): It is a great place for some days close to attractions and the pool is great! - The AC was working great and the pool was awesome. The staff was very helpful and nice. I traveled with my niece. The breakfast could be improved and a little protein added but the waffles were great.
- Rachel (8/5): - Quaint little hotel near town, quiet and clean. Front desk very friendly. The continental breakfast is limited, but good quality of what they have.
- Jayme (10/5): - We had a great stay at Countryside Inn in Nappanee, Indiana! The room was clean, and every staff member we interacted with was super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but perfect for grabbing something quick to hold you over.
The kids especially loved the pool area, and we really appreciated the cabinet of board games available in the lobby—it was a fun touch for downtime. The staff even went above and beyond by offering us their meeting room so our whole team could eat dinner together. All the guests we encountered were polite and respectful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly place with great hospitality. Would definitely stay again!
- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (6/5): - The staff is always pleasant- our room this time had A/C issues
- Kane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tammy (10/5): Love Love Love - LOVE! This place is so cute and comfy! Breakfast was only a cold continental but with a waffke maker. Plenty of places to have breakfast. There is a cute little restaurant right on Tomahawk that has a breakfast buffet. Pool is very clean and the courtyard is so cute!
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Bonds (10/5): Exceptional -
- bonnie (10/5): - Liked the structure of the hotel and the continental breakfast had a lot to eat or drink. The time period allowed let it be peaceful and I crowded by 9:00 am.
- jeffnsallyc (10/5): Vacation Roadtrip Stay at Countryside Inn Napanee Indiana - We were traveling on a Vacation-Roadtrip and had a long commute and decided to stay one of the nights at CountrySide Inn in Napanee Indiana. This is a cute place in the middle of a huge Amish-Mennonite town. Staff were super friendly and rooms were very spacious and we had been traveling on our way bk to Minnesota from Washington DC-West Virginia area and out of all the hotels we stayed at on our way or on the way bk this hotel had the absolute Comfiest Beds and Comfiest Pillows of any of them we all really appreciated that and got good sleep. It was very clean, had great hot water, great wifi, was quiet and super friendly. We really appreciated that it felt more welcoming or more like going to stay at a comfortable lodge than a chain hotel it felt much less sterile. Prices were good and our GPS took us along some really pretty back roads to get there. It's relatively close to a town with gas stations or restaurants and the town had a Scooters Coffeeshop we stopped at on our way home that was closeby there. They left us a personalized note welcoming us there when we stayed which was really nice. Only really good things to say about this place other than their breakfast is pretty basic. But rooms were well thought out and nice and was a very clean and very comfortable place. We would recommend it or stay there again if passing thru.
- April (10/5): - We were in town for nephews graduation. Hotel let our daughter's family stay across the hall from us even though we booked our rooms on different days. Our granddaughter swam in pool even though if was 60° outside (they are crazy). They loved it. This is the hotel we stay at in Nappanee. Very friendly
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Nice, clean rooms Breakfast very minimal
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley L (10/5): - This place was so amazing!!!
- David (10/5): Was in town for a funeral so didn’t get to spend a lot of time there but enjoyed it while we were there. Very nice break - Very old fashioned. Like an old fashioned country inn Train is a bit loud in the middle of the night
- judith (10/5): - Nice shower! Good breakfast. Easy check in with friendly staff.
- Larry (8/5): Good value - Good No hdmi plugs or blow dryer or coffee pots in room.
- Gary (8/5): - In town for a wedding, so was not on the property other than to sleep. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Typical firm hotel bed. Seemed to be damage to the walls in the hallway. Not sure if they had an issue with a guest.
- Dalynn M (2/5): - Beware!!!!! So the place was clean and had minimal breakfast, the train track across the street so little noisy when hourly train came thru. I mean the stay was nice until and I regret not taking a picture of it before leaving it at front desk. Sitting on bed putting shoes on next morning a BEDBUG crawled across the comforter! front desk claims a check for bedbugs. Obviously not is there’s a BEDBUG!
- Yousaf (10/5): - Overall good
- John (8/5): Very good - Clean, spacious room & bathroom. Nice bed. TV worked well with plenty of channels. Bathroom lighting was bright. Main Room could have more lighting and the lights in the room are not very bright, which made it hard to read. Also, it would be nice if the bathroom had a light directly over the sink/vanity. The position of the lights are such that it is kind of dark when you are looking at yourself in the mirror or shaving even though the other lights are bright.
- jim (8/5): Great Place - It was a great Stay beds were comfortable. Food was great. Will stay here again conveniently located close to downtown.
- Jeff (9/5): Superb -
- Lana (10/5): Perfect place to stay. Charming and comfortable! - We loved everything here. The staff was so nice and everything was clean. Will definitely stay again!
- Marie (9/5): Superb - Nice to have coffee available after breakfast.
Rooms very clean.
Super nice front desk staff. Toilet was super loud we were afraid to wake people up!
- laura (10/5): - great hotel just on the outside of town. very clean, americana decorated rooms.
- Matthew (6/5): - Multiple places in the hallways where the drywall was broken off the corners exposing metal corner edge.
Sink drain seemed to be disconnected from stem. Breakfast bar was a disappointment unless you like corn flakes and bagels.
Thankfully the room was clean but the building needs to be refreshed.
- Tammy (10/5): We have a daughter and grandkids who live near this area so we came here for Christmas Eve to spend time with them. - The staff were amazing. It was quiet and just what we needed in order to spend time with our family at Christmas. Breakfast was just okay, but I’m giving grace here because it was Christmas morning and people want to spend holidays with family so they may have been short staffed or rushed so no judgement there.
- Mamaopal (9/5): Clean and Cozy! - Staff was great. Beds were cozy and the rooms were clean. Cleanest room I've ever stayed in. The Train! Woke up to it several times in the night.
- Lonnie (6/5): - Needs new beds
- Cherie (10/5): - Was a very sweet place to stay at. The staff was helpful a friendly.
