- Steven (8/5): - Good, compared to others in the for the price, felt secured there
- Sonny (6/5): - Parking is extremely safe with locked gates
- Abraham (10/5): - Great spot
- Jon (8/5): - It's ok hotel for the price and good convenient location. Clean. I would stay there again.
- Steven (10/5): - Quit and safe place for the money
- Steven (8/5): - Quiet
- Alicia (10/5): - Céntrico
- Rudy (10/5): - i likes
- Maribel (2/5): - Do not stay here, it smells like a septic tank. I hope I don’t get sick from it.
- Blanca (6/5): - Todo muy bien lo único que no había agua y nadie del los trabajadores del hotel se tomó la molestia de informar a los huéspedes
- Modou (10/5): - Nice & friendly person it like family friendly
- Rory (8/5): - This was another visit to my default TJ spot. It's far enough from the sounds and smells of Revolucion.. but still a stroll away. The staff let you come and go as you wish. A bed, a shower, a tv and a fan or AC..... it's a crash spot.
Suiza has made some serious repairs to the stairs and hallway in the year I've been away - nice.
I would suggest you keep in mind the wifi is 10-12 mbps so download a week worth of shows before heading to TJ.
- Patrick (10/5): - When I book for two people..I don’t want to be questioned about where is my companion after I explain that she is arriving later
- Cristopher (6/5): - Be careful with the parking policy.
- Jose (10/5): - They have free parking from 8pm to am and it's secure
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not what I expected from this app - Romm was very small. Had to pay an additional deposit about $10 and that deposit was retained because i used a towel and got it a little dirty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hot rooms - The room I had upstairs was really hot. No air conditioning. Had one ceiling fan.
- Juan (8/5): - Linens, overall esthetics.
- Michael (10/5): Cleaner, newer, safer, and more comfortable - The rooms have been renovated so the bathrooms look super clean, the stucko is much nicer, and rooms are painted. I am glad they have signs up now with their strict anti-alcohol rules so it makes for a safer environment.
- Jose (10/5): - Good customer service
- Steven (10/5): - Value for the price
- javier (4/5): - Of course the price was ok but it was very hard to fall asleep because some crazy guy was talking so loud and it was difficult to "locate his room". When I leave, it took 5 minutes to find where the deposits are.
- Julian (10/5): - It ok quiet and no problems
- Piyawadee (8/5): - The water was shut down at almost my check out time. The water was way too hot for shower even I Yun on the cool knob torturing me. The blanket itched me so much. The mattress was comfortable and no bed bug. Restroom corner was dirty and the old soap from previous customer was left in shower. Staffs are nice.
- Fredrick (8/5): Hotel suiza hotel suizahow do I love you - Staff was very informative they were helpful and pretty much like involved with the customers over there Hey how you doing it was different from other hotels I stood at but I like How they let you have your peace and you are constantly bothered you know it was it was Like a breath of fresh air so this week
- lydia (10/5): - Place was ok for one night stay front desk person was great and very concern regarding my car parked on street side curb safe viewed from inside Hotel from surveillance cámaras
- Belkis (10/5): - Super !
- Dolores (6/5): First and last time - Parking was at a nearby public parking garage, but only free for hotel guests from 8pm-8am, you need to pay to park outside of that time. Wish I would have known that, I might have rather stayed at another hotel with on-site free parking. Hotel rooms are pretty old needing renovation. Television only offered one channel. AC and ceiling fan was a plus since weather was warm. Unfortunately I saw a couple of roaches in the bathroom sink, not good.
- Walter (6/5): - No widows .. nice a/c
Close to town and border
Quiet
Needs a work over
- gilberto (10/5): - The weather in the summer, is assume.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Dont stay - Stay away save your time and money. Rooms are dirty they dont clean them, towels and bed sheets are dirty and with holes. If you let them know they blame you and take your deposit away. They have so many roches is not even funny. I didnt complete my stay and there refusing my refund. They also have bed bugs or something.
- gilberto (10/5): - The location was quiet and safe. The eateries were very good
- Jonathan (4/5): - This place gives off a 2 star motel vibe. The beds are low bugget abd uncomfortable, and the rooms are antiquated. Better off spending a few more dollars else where.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Restful night - Just an overnight stay. Check-in was seamless. Hotel is dated but clean and quiet.
- Steven (8/5): - Good for the price
- gilberto (10/5): Great stay. - Great place to shop and dine. The area is safe and quiet. I enjoy the walking distance to the main strip.
- Rory (10/5): - The staff were very polite and willing to suggest neighboring restaurants, Plato De Oro I'd highly recommend across the street amazing breakfast! And it is a very reasonably priced accommodation far away from the noisy touristy part of town if that's what you're looking for this is your place
- Joshua (10/5): - Perfect for a night before walking across the border to the USA.
It was clean and bed was comfortable.
Close to downtown and everything TJ has to offer, wouldn't hesitate staying again if necessary!
- Colin (8/5): - Good bed/pillows Lots of hot water in shower Because all rooms are accessed from windowless inner lobby rooms tend to noisy. Good value, not fancy, no services except wifi
- Lauren (10/5): - It was Swiss-styled.
- Eric (6/5): - You got what you paid for.
- gilberto (10/5): - great place to shop and save.
- gilberto (10/5): - Shopping
- Jonathan (10/5): - The place was clean and had an AC, which helps in the heat of Mexico. Check in and out was fast although staff didn’t speak much English. But he was helpful to the best way he could. I would recommend and definitely will return
- Matthew (2/5): - The room was very dirty,
hair in the shower and sink, dead bugs on the floor, the tables were sticky, the bed blanket smelled like mildew mold and the worst is they have no hot water. Its obvious this room was not cleaned or prepared properly. They kept 5 usd (100 peso) becuase i made the mistake of cigarette smoke in room, which is funny considering how the filthy disgusting the room was Before my arrival. I pray this money will help those poor people.
- Jon (8/5): - Was good for the money budget hotel
- GILBERTO (10/5): - The hotel was very close to the civic center, and the staff was very friendly I enjoy shopping and dining out due to it's cheap prices.
- Ari (4/5): - Very basic. Not so friendly Personnel
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent - Older building and furnishings, though clean. Good water pressure and temperature in the shower. Window-less room. There is an older air-conditioning unit working, but not very effective, so it was fortunate that the weather was not very hot.
- iris (4/5): - When I walked into the room it smelled like sewer and the light was not working. I came back later that night. When I turned on the shower 3 big roaches came out of the drain. The towels were a stained. The light went out again for about 15-20mins. Staff was friendly.
- Noemi (2/5): NOT GOOD - the bed nasty box bring nasty cockoroach..cucarachas...tv don't work....no cold water ...noisy client stay no consideration what can i expect from low class it was a rush stay of 6 hours due to medical reason ...no at all hot water than they pretent we gave gallon boiler of hot water sure y lie ....couches need no need all upgrands.Pillows nsty i use my blackets and towel to proctect dont fool u with pictures they not real deal on web need to up grade thos pictures
- Analia (10/5): - Nice stay
- Rudy (10/5): - friendly staff always willing to accommodate
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not even worth it - Room was dirty, musty, hot, and smelly. Bed sheets and pillows were clearly not washed. Overall not a comfortable place even for a 1 night cheap stay.
- Annette (2/5): Medical traveler - Mold everywhere changed rooms twice on a week stay.plave was very dirty and loud didnt get quite till 4 am. No bedding on bed worn out towel no night stand or dresser to put anything
- Sven (10/5): - Great location.
Great price!
Obviously at this price you can not expect excellence! The sheets had marks on thrm but i m sure they were clean. Just old.
Good place if you just want to crash for the night.
- Rudy (10/5): - staff very friendly and location convenient
- Verified traveler (10/5): Safe place - Excelente always a pleasure coming here
- Fernando (4/5): - Overall, the hotel was ok; however, the bedding was horrible. It looked dirty and the spring bed was horrible! It looked like it had mold and/or dirty. I was afraid it had bedbugs but Staff assured me that it didn't. They said they fumigate the hotel twice a month. Other than that, for the price I paid, the hotel was reasonable. Oh, the hotel Staff forgot to put towels in my room. They said towels was "extra". Not good.
- gilberto (10/5): - The hotel is within walking distance, to the heart of downtown.
- Allan (8/5): - For 23 dollars was alright there is no parking at this place if walking or bus have little money go there
- Thomas (10/5): - I wish that there was an operational television there in my room. It had only 1 channel & not in English. I also wish that the management would set a noise curfew at 8PM or 8:30 pm...the other tenants don't need to hear loud music playing at 10pm when they're trying to sleep. I've stayed here before and find that 27 dollars per night is reasonable, but if you pay a booking website (like, expedia, hotels.com, Travelocity, etc),it's no longer a deal.
- Juan (2/5): Worst hotel in Tijuana - Filthy, disgusting hotel with a horrendous odor. Bed sheets and towels are dirty and stained and the shower curtain is just plain nasty to look at. Horrible place to stay.
- Zachery (6/5): - Well I found a big spider in my room but everything else was really clean the TV didn't work
- Ryan (8/5): - Good place to sleep
- Marvin (8/5): Hotel Suiza the 'Value Hotel' - An exceptional value. Very representative of Tijuana, MX: Friendly, Clean, Economical & Safe.
- Humberto (8/5): - The beds were very hard and the furniture was very outdated. There was however uninterrupted hot water.
- Rudy (10/5): - quiet clean friendly staff eateries close by
- Mario A (10/5): - It was good
- Eudomar Cedeño (10/5): - Very clean what can you expect for the price you are playing.
- jesus (6/5): - my room was in front of the street and it was to noise
- Joseph Arnold (8/5): - No complaints
- Chad (2/5): - Keeps your identification at check in, dirty rooms, found ants in my bed and a baby roach on the wall. There was hair on my bed sheets. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Tijuana. I’d advise against it. Room did not even have a fire exit or windows. Would be in violation of fire code if it were in the United States
- D (6/5): - Ok
- JOHN (10/5): - It’s a older hotel great value and security have stayed before neverHad any problems
- Rory C (8/5): - This is another stay for me at this location. The price is right, and the location is set back from the wild and loud part of town. Check in was direct, keep your mask on anytime outside of room, hundred peso deposit for remote, key and linens/bedding. That was totally reasonable. My room had an AC and was welcome to see. The tv in the room was large and nice, but the real amenity was the google wifi mesh network that kept Netflix and my VPN humming. I came and went freely, it was another good stay.
- Michael (8/5): Cheap in Tijuana - I think they should voluntarily give you your deposit and ID back rather than wait to see if you remember it. --Yo pienso que deben voluntariamente ofrecerte su ID y deposito de regreso en vez de esperar que lo olvide
- Michael (8/5): Clean and Comfortable - I think they should voluntarily offer to return your identification and deposit rather that just wait to see if you remember to ask for it. I really dont see a need for them to keep you ID in the first place, given the fact that copied ID's if big business in Mexicol.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Free parking from 8 pm to 8 am
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No Ac the ceiling fan had wires hanging out. No towels,
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s ok for the price, close to downtown, staff was friendly
- Mario (4/5): - Close to downtown and restaurants
Very cheap price but you get for what you pay
- Andrew (10/5): - Great location in a quiet neighborhood but only 2 - 3 blocks from stores and lively streets. The staff is very helpful. It's clean and well run. Excellent.
- mario (10/5): My trip - I was satisfied with the overall aspects of the hotel
- M (2/5): - Shower wouldn't turn off, almost flooded the room
No outside windows, so it was super hot and they ran out of fans
bugs everywhere
I still itch when I think about this place
- Michael (2/5): - This hotel is a piece of crap. Falling down building, broken ceilings when rain gets everywhere, moldy smelly rooms, and rude staff, In short, dirty, ugly, moldy, smelly, and run down, to top it all rude ugly attitude of staff who care less.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - i like the workers they are respectful, and thoughtful clo
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good enough for the price you pay. Good location, near avenida de la revolución.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to downtown Close to shopping and restaurants bars check in was fast and easy plenty of taxis and city transportation Overall good experience
- chantha (6/5): My first hotel stay in tj - The hotel is affordable and the local areas is great. Is not noisy that a plus just looking for a place to stay , I would come back again , oh there is no English speaking be prepared to speak Spanish 😂
- chantha (6/5): hotel in tj - i stay there for 2 nights. I enjoy the room it small , and quiet.
- Jamirey (4/5): Bad - There was so many mosquitoes, at a moment there was no water to shower they had to fix it. No fan or air conditioner.
- Prizila (2/5): Need a refund for the inconveniance - This was the worst plave ive ever stayed. Got there left stuff went out. Came back and the room was full of cockratches nasty
- William (2/5): Scammers! Rude! Double chargers! Horrible people! - The guy at the front desk said I didn’t have a reservation. I showed him my confirmation. He said he didn’t have it. I said it’s paid for and I’m not leaving here till you give me a room. He said he didn’t have any rooms. He showed me a different persons reservation. I said that’s not me and it’s not my business. He continued to show me someone else's name. He continued to play dumb and not understand me. After about a half hour of this he said: “yea but you didn’t pay cash.” I said is that what this is about? Fine. I’ll pay the cash now and deal with hotels.com tomorrow. I paid $35 dollars for the room, in addition to the $32 that had been charged on my card. He double charged me. And put me through hell to get his money. He told me he didn’t have any rooms. Until I agreed to pay cash. Then all of a sudden he did have rooms. The next day the maid entered my room without permission and started to run me out. She was speaking Spanish which I understand and speak very well. He appears and tells her I don’t understand anything. Of course I’m understanding everything they’re saying. He was clowning me. It’s bad enough I got double charged and dealt with an ordeal just to get a room that was reserved and paid for. But then he had to insult me. Do not go here. They are not honest. There is nothing worse then being a weary traveler and just wanting to get into your room so you can relax and sleep and getting messed with like this. Never, ever, stay here!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It's cheap and you get what you pay for, so can't complain too much.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Secure hotel with cameras no problemsClose to everything restaurants grocery store
- Hector (2/5): Do Not Stay Here.... - Nothing works, roaches in the room. Smells awful. Claimed to have WiFi, not true. TV don’t work. Service personal would not even listen.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Old place, durty sheets! Unconfortable pillows. Staff is nice dough
- Verified traveler (4/5): - it's TJ no heat & mildew. What u expect? TV was all espanol. comprehendo
- Verified traveler (6/5): decent spot for a night's sleep - I've stayed here on multiple occasions. A decent place to get some sleep. Decent value for money, with the occasional cockroach thrown in for free. Just a practical decision while I spend time with relatives and ease of access to shopping and transportation back to the states.
