Guest Reviews
- Dami (6/5): - Came here with my friend. AC unit works well, firm mattress but comfortable. Spend 3 nights. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Biggest issue was the wifi. Very slow and unreliable. They don't have smart TV. Bring your Roku or Amazon stick if you want to watch Tv. Not bad for the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Ok to stay - The place is good to stay.
- Erick (2/5): - Hotel is not in very good condition. Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Staff was not willing to help.
- Paul (10/5): Recommended and affordable - Very good location in station one, quality plated breakfast included, they were absolutely no problems with pest or anything.
I would highly recommend his hotel without any worry about noise and the hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly.
Very good location right across the street from the beach And very easy to get tricycle taxi et cetera
- Shiela Marie (6/5): - The property was nice, however, for the entire stay, we had problems with the shower area. Shower was leaking nonstop to the point that we couldn't sleep because of its noise. Shower drainage was not working well, hence, the shower area gets flooded everytime we shower, and it’s not sanitary.
Breakfast was included, and it’s a good move. Food quality and options could be improved tho.
- ynas2014 (2/5): A night with bed bugs - There are people who are more susceptible to bed bugs. Unfortunately, I’m one of them. Nasty mites feasted on me on our first night. Itchy buggers! Endured it for a month. I informed reception about it and hope they do something.
Also, we just had breakfast on our first morning. They seem to be understaffed or maybe our breakfast took too long because the dining area was in the third floor while the kitchen was on the ground floor. We didn’t have breakfast there the rest of our stay.
Someone promoted Hannah over tiktok. Perhaps it was a paid endorsement. Taught me not to believe everything I see on social media. Lesson learned.
- jason (10/5): - It was a nice affordable hotel
- John (6/5): - The security guard was the only friendly, helpful person on staff. The young women seemingly running the place were unhelpful and impatient. They controlled and restricted everything in an effort to make minimal work for themselves while making minimal enjoyment for guests. Also very stingy with things like towels and toilet paper. I actually checked out four days early, with no refund, just to go somewhere else.
- RemleDEG (2/5): Not a good experience... - Very small room with small ac unit that cannot do its job. We are given an electric fan instead. You can hear people talking and kids playing outside your window. TV is working but the cable is not. Their are instances that your door opens even if its locked. Hope you improve your property because your staffs are doing good.
- William Jefferson (10/5): - The hotel was perfect for our 8-day vacation as it was near the beach front. Friendly staff and very helpful. Breakfast was satisfying as well as other dishes.
- Joanne (8/5): - The staff including security were wonderful and helpful.
- TATSUO (4/5): - 部屋の外がすぐ私有地になっており、隣人が見えたり、周囲の音が聞こえたりする。
- Ant-Dan (10/5): Lovely staff, very close to the beach. - This is a lovely hotel in Boracay. Staying there, we got to know the family who is running it and their ethos is incredible, with sustainability and the local community in mind. The hotel is bright and airy, with interesting art and overall very good value for money. All the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. It's a very very short walk to one of the best parts of the amazing white beach, with great places to swim or to sit and have a coffee or meal. Would definitely stay again.
- AdventuresOfTwo (8/5): Great Stay - Lovely little hotel in Station 1. Very close to the beach and the town, in fact only a 2minute walk from Willys Rock. Receptionist very friendly and welcoming.
Room clean and comfortable a little run down in parts but great overall.
Breakfast was included but very limited menu so chose to eat out for breakfast.
- joyodessaa (10/5): A sweet spot in Bora! - A quaint lovely hotel at the quieter side of Boracay. Owned by kind, good-natured people. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Their food tasted so good with reasonable prices. The Korean Chicken Wings I have tried was so delicious! Great job👍🏼
- Yun Seong (6/5): - Service is warm and great. I arrived earlier than check-in time and had to wait for the room to be ready. So had lunch there at the cafe.
When i got to the room at the ground floor.. condition was below expectations. Well, it was a cheap stay but i had expected the walls to be clean ( and not look moldy... ).
Definitely different from the photos. Maybe the 1st and 2nd floors are better. Service was warm though and breakfast waa yummy. You get what you pay...and if it is a tired moldy room on the ground floor, i don't thonk it met expectations.
- avielcarwynt (2/5): Customer service is not accomodating - I hope mapansin ito ng Hannah hotel. I have been sending email, calling you but i havent received any reply sa query ko. I SENT YOU 2 EMAILS. CALLED YOU SEVERAL TIMES. ANG SABI I RE RELAY SA CUSTOMER PERO WALA AKO NA RE RECEIVE NA REPLY.
- 639marcy (2/5): Where we unlucky??? - Dark room, not responsible heavy duvet that force you to use the air conditioning at the maximum all night. View to work débris and garbage from the balconi. Among the three choices for breakfast the French toasts were totally burned and unable. I moved immediately to a much better property.
- N9638XSjaneg (2/5): VERY WORST EXPERIENCE - Staffs are disrespectful, the room smells like a wood and a cockroach. Not a clean place and not a relaxing place. Foods are the same for the whole week, only longganisa is always available in the menu. The experience staying in this hotel is stressing and never worth it.
- TripMakoy (10/5): Great Option - I really had a pleasant stay at this simple yet comfortable hotel located on the opposite side of the white beach station 1 area, street behind the Catholic Church. From the moment I saw the property, I know that I made a great choice. Its a simple property, very basic but I really felt connected as a budget traveller and its not pretentious. Standard room is small, but comfortable enough for a pleasant stay especially if you are traveling solo or couple. No special amenities in the room but that's ok. Roof deck pool & bar was cozy, (great potential for guests to hangout). Not sure if its manned at some point during the day. They offer massage service at reasonable rates.
Staff were really friendly and approachable. Food was ok.
Little & simple additional room deco would be great. Just to add minimal color. Not sure if they have beach mat that guests can borrow or rent.
I would def consider staying at this hotel, for long stay + on budget. Keep it up.
- Tour766775 (8/5): Cozy Island Vibes - I didn't expect that this is a great place although I made my research about this hotel but they didn't post a lot of photos. When we went there they already had their renovation. The place is so homey. Simple and rustic that's the best way to describe it. Staffs are really friendly I even asked them if they can keep the cale that I bought because they don't have a fridge in their room. I also like that they have a water dispenser and you can refill anytime. The cons with this hotel are- Our room has this old smell like the smell of my old grandma's cabinet but I also checked the other room that we booked and they don't have that kind of scent so I guess it depends. The compli breakfast menu only have 3 choices. Thou it's fine the food taste good. Btw the place is near at the beach so yeah you can walk around 2mins or less. Overall I love this place ❤️
- drnizamm (2/5): Holiday Stay - An exceptionally bad place to stay, very noisy with building work non stop. Noise starts at 7.00am and ceases at 5.00pm. Rooms poor with damp in places. Breakfast extremely poor with no choice for vegetarian. Dinning room extremely basic.
Definitely not recommended
- animarellighl (10/5): amazing! - This family-run hotel is located on the main road, but it should not take you more than 5 minutes to reach the beach (the nicest spot in the area since Station 1 is relatively more quiet compared to the other stations).
This is the best budget hotel - the room is spacious for two and contains basic necessities (e.g. shampoo / shower gel). You can bring your own water bottle as they have free water/coffee/tea all day long at the reception area.
The staff is also amazing! They also greet you with a warm smile whenever you go in and out of the hotel. If you are slightly tight on budget - pick this hotel! They fare way way better compared to the budget hotels situated in the beachfront.
- Verified traveler (4/5):
- francisguison (10/5): Best Budget Hotel at Boracay, Station 1 - Location was good, a short walk to the Church & Boracay's Grotto. You can walk the famous White sand beach from there. Hassle free check-in & check-out. We even have an early check-in. Very Friendly staff. A Very Clean and Homey style room. Wifi is good. Very roomy Bathroom, Toilet is sparkling clean. Toiletries provided. You may hang clothes outside.
Free breakfast are good! You may refill drinking purified water at the reception, Free Coffee & Tea!
Booked 2 Nights, Best value for money. Will definitely book again! Thanks Hannah Hotel
- charlesromulus (8/5): Not the greatest place, but it tries - Yes, it's a bit on the older side. Yes, the airconditioning in the room I stayed was lacking in horsepower. Yes, the internet isn't the best. Yes, i could pick up some ambient noise from the hallways and adjacent rooms.
I'm just guessing here but the place looks like it used to be someone's pretty nice house (probably back in the 90s when Boracay wasn't so crazy) until it was repurposed into a hotel. I like that charm though, it makes me miss my childhood in quieter Manila. I also like the fact that it's located quite a walk away from the main road and the party place, though it has some disadvantages, some obvious and one that I will mention later.
But I had a great time anyway. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They were not even sure that I was a client yet but they were quick to offer me a glass of cold iced tea which was pretty good and spot-on after I just walked a dusty half kilometer with my luggage from my previous hotel. Without us even asking, they offered us beach towels everytime we stepped out. I think that's a nice touch.
There were a couple of cats around, some would jump on the counter and some on the dining chairs. I nearly sat on one. I really don't mind them, some of the other guests actually loved them and were petting them around. I'm pretty sure some guests are not fans, though.
I liked that there were old books in the reception area. I always try to get some leisurely reading in when I'm on vacation and that would have been great if I had forgotten my book. There was a lot of Italian and German books. I wanted to trade the one that I brought over for one of them but I couldn't finish my book in time.
Breakfast was optimal. About the vegetable omelette, I just wish we would keep the sour notes a little down. Someone in the kitchen needs to hold back on the calamansi. Oh, and the yellow watermelons are and will always be a favorite.
We flew out earlier this morning, and it's the start of the thunderstorm season. I'm not going to take the weather against the hotel, neither will I do the construction work going on in the main road, or the fact that both these things made getting to Caticlan Airport extremely difficult leading me to miss my plane. A nice touch, however, is if the hotel at least had arrangements with transfer service providers for emergencies like this. This gives clients options. Again, force majeure is not their fault, but neither amI be faulted for expecting that they have some arrangements for emergency transport. Or am I?
That aside, it had a great stay and I hope they improve on what is already a good thing they have going.
- 202cristianf (2/5): Room ok . DONT USE SHOWER YOU MIGHT DIE - Stay here 2 nights on boracay.
Price in boracay is acceptable for a spartanic assorted room.
Staff and guard friendly.
Breakfast ok.
500 Meter away from Beach. Ok
Now the bad think. Pls owner read that!!!!!
THE ELECTRIC IN THE CR IS VERY VERY DANGEROUS.!
IT IS NOT MY INTENTION TO GIVE A BAD REWARDS
I ONLY LIKE TO GIVE A WARNING.
ELEKTRIK IS UNDER THE WATERHOSE.
HELLO NOBODY DIE UNTIL NOW????
Pease Please Please. Change that. Water heater higher. Remove the socket on the light switch from inside the shower.

- Cheridee (10/5): Nice and friendly place - Hotel is located in the calm area, but still 3 minutes walk to the beach. The staff is very friendly, they offered us lemongrass tea as a welcome drink. On the reception you can also have good coffee anytime.
For breakfast you can choose from 2 options, we liked the french toast with banana.
The room itself was spacious and clean, shower had strong stream which is rare in Philippines.
I highly recommend this place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay - Good stay for budget travelers - building/rooms a bit run down but clean and super close to white beach. Breakfast varied and was good. Liked that the location was away from Station 2 crowds but walkable when you wanted to get in the action.
- flyhighliz (8/5): Location ok, room a bit rundown - Location was a bit hidden, need some walk from the main road. Rooms a little rundown, not too quiet as some review says, can hear people talking on the hallway, some kids shouting and running. Electricity was unreliable, arrived with no electricity, no backup power generator, i was only given a small pocket sized light to lit up my room. Power came back around 5pm. Only stayed overnight but in the morning after my swim, came back in the room with no electricity again. But staff are great, they are always greeting guests with smiles.
- 93sophien (10/5): Pleasant Stay <3 Yummy lemongrass tea - I stayed in Hannah Hotel for my trip in Boracay quite long time ago. But now I still keep in my mind memories about this hotel. I cannot recommend enough. Hannah Hotel is close to beach that is cleaner than the rest. The Host was super cool, they let us drank lemon grass tea whenever we came back. I extremely love this signature drink :) I will come back to drink more <3 Keep up the good work guys
- NikaDulevich (10/5): Home Away From Home - It's rare to find places that feel like home while traveling, but sometimes you find true gems.
Hannah Hotel Boracay was exactly that for me in Boracay: a family run hotel since early 2000s, named by their eldest daughter with every room bearing a name of a family member rather than a number. In this place I actually felt like I was welcomed into a family rather than checked into a hotel. And should I say that the room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the shower clean.
If you ever find yourself in Boracay, check this place out. If you are looking for a homey place to stay and want to be treated like an old friend, you'll love it there as much as I did.
P.S. It's in station three, further away from all the noise and parties and yet a 15 minute walk to the kitesurfing beach and a 2 minute walk to the White Beach.
- dccarlos424 (8/5): Quaint and Cozy - First, rate is very economical considering its proximity to Station 1 beach. Rooms are not new and needs some refurbishing. But if they will maybe just change the bedsheets, pillowcases and comforter with a higher threadcount, it will already be ok. TV is for those who are in Boracay to go to the beach and not watch tv. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Public transpo is very easy to access. Lots of nearby small restaurants/eateries for budget food.
Justine, the receptionist, head chef, publlc realtions, and owner is very sweet and accommodating.
- Nelson (8/5): Private time at Hannah - We chose to stay in Station 1 to be far from the crowds. Hannah Hotel was a very good choice since it provided us the privacy we needed for our alone time as a couple. The family that owned the place served us - that made the difference as they were most courteous and hospitable. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The aircon and tv were functioning properly. We also Wifi in our room. We wished though that we had a cabinet or any fixture where we could properly hang our clothes.
- Carla Jhenalyn (10/5): Affordable with very nice service - It has a very local vibe. The comfort room is squeaky clean. The owners are so accomodating and they took a filipino twist on their free breakfast. It's just more or less 10mins walk from station 1 beach. I would definitely stay here again when I come back in Boracay
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient - It was good
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hospitable Hosts - I really enjoyed my stay at the rustic Hannah Hotel. It is run by a most warmly accommodating Filipino family. I was a bit of a diva and had a whole bunch of requests (mostly borrowing stuff), all of which were met patiently and kindly. The hotel's location is ideal--only a 2-minute walk to the beach. Because of these, I would recommend this place and I would also return here on future visits.
- Pat (10/5): loved it!
- I enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere! Met owners.
- Josephine (10/5): great location, accommodating staff - we had an excellent stay. the hotel owner was very accommodating and the location was superb.
