Zuvorkommendes Personal. Leider hatte es in unserer Unterkunft überall Ameisen, was evtl.

- Deepashree (5/5): Decent but not value for money - Location Daily cleaning was superficial. Bathrooms were left dirty everyday.
Water pressure was bad. Very very old toilet fittings. Whole villa needs renovation
- Isabelle (10/5): -
Frühstück sollte man ganz weglassen.
- Shay (10/5): - Magical place, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beach, which is just outside the cabins. Nice pool and gardens. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast served is a tropical one. Excellent fruits and juice, but the bread and cheese are processed.
- Stefano (8/5): Beautiful and relaxing - What we loved:
- The villas are beautifully nestled in nature, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere
- The private beach nearby is stunning, with crystal-clear waters and dedicated access
- The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming
- Having breakfast delivered to your villa at any time you choose is a fantastic perk
- The overall atmosphere and location of the resort are perfect for a relaxing getaway Suggested improvements:
- The breakfast pastry selection could be expanded to include more variety, such as more croissants, brioche, and pancakes
- It would be great if the villas could be sealed more effectively to prevent small animals like geckos and lizards from entering, as the current ventilation slits allow them to get inside
- Ivana (9/5): - Amazing location- right on the beach. Had everything we needed for 4 nights, big and spacious. Highly recommend
- Carlos (6/5): -
- Greta (9/5): - Appartamenti indipendenti tranquilli e immersi nella natura
Ottimo padrone di casa
Colazione abbondante servita direttamente in appartamento
- Sylvie (10/5): Un endroit typique parfait !
- Tom (10/5): Top!! - Tout !
Superbe plage en face des villas Rien
- Yfat (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place Pierre is wonderful
- Ankit (10/5): Exceptional - It’s amazing, right on a really nice beach. The villas are super nice and open and I would book a longer stay next time.
- Oscar (10/5): Calm, spacious and beautiful vilas by the perfect beach - Just entering the hotel there is a magnificient garden. The staff are very kind and helpful, they allowed us to have an early check-in, helped us with some visits and give good recommendations. The hotel is going to be refurbished next year as it will have 25 years, and even though it is very well maintained and it doesn't look much old. It was very clean and smell nicely. The best is the calmness of the place. You can hear a little bit the ocean but mostly only birds. Having breakfast in the veranda rounded by birds, facing the nice garden, is very nice. The beach, except for the sting rays that you get scared entering to the water, is really nice. For me on of the best I have seen in Seychelles, with its white sand, without coral, very large so you can have nice walks, and the water is quite shallow. Also, you have sunbeds in the shadow of some trees. I am very happy with the election of this vila and I would recommend to anybody going to Seychelles. It was nice to have the breakfast brought directly to the vila, but everyday was the same, some bread, a croissant, some cheese and butter and jam. But at least we could have it in the veranda with our birdy friends. Also there are no amenities. At least a shampoo would be nice to have.
- Mani (3/5): Good location but inconvenient if you don’t like the heat. - Good location, nice beach One small weak AC just for the bedroom. The place felt like a sauna. No paper towels anywhere in the property.
- Jean-pierre (9/5): Superb - A wonderful place to be on the sea shore of anse Volbert beach , no street to cross.
Very relaxing, quiet place , no dogs which bark.
Wonderful garden
An independant flat well equipped with everything to cook and an air climate in the bedroom .
15 mn by foot to the village along the beach
- Mariusz (10/5): Paradise - the facility exceeded our expectations. beautiful villa with an opening terrace. beautiful beach. from the very morning you are woken up by the singing of birds. you feel safe there. comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. very nice staff. we will come in the water you have to watch out for rays that burrow in the sand and have dangerous thorns
- Elvira (5/5): Passable - We stayed one night at Les Villas d’Or and were quite disappointed. The staff who welcomed us was kind, but the property felt old and outdated. The air conditioning was only in the bedroom — the living room and kitchen were uncomfortably hot. The furniture and overall condition of the villa suggest it hasn’t been renovated in a long time. For €320 a night, with no breakfast included, the value was really not there. The location is close to the beach, and some staff members, like the gardeners, were friendly. However, we were told to keep all doors and windows tightly closed due to people potentially entering from the beach, which made us feel a bit uneasy. On checkout, the staff member was cold and unwelcoming.
The place has a 9.2 rating, but honestly, we don’t understand where that comes from. We stayed in other places with lower ratings that were much more modern, clean, and comfortable. So, ratings aren’t always the best indicator of what to expect.
- Ben (10/5): You won't want to leave! - Absolutely beautiful property right next to a white sand beach! Giant tortoises on the premises. Serves breakfast in the room with some of the freshest fruit I've ever had. Very accommodating, even after checkout. Pierre was friendly, funny, and very helpful. Wouldn't exchange free labor for permanent room and board. Other than that, no complaints.
- Ana (10/5): Paradise - It was like staying in Eden. Beautiful and comfortable chalets, wonderful and kind staff, gorgeous garden and terrace, and right on the beach... too bad we had to leave!
- Gergő (8/5): Very good -
- Gabriel (8/5): Very good -
- Eleni (9/5): Superb - This place can make you feel connected with the island. Taking our breakfast on the little patio and having all the colourful birds around us was very special! The location is amazing. Air conditioning works very well. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful!
Daily housekeeping could be improved.
- Liubov (7/5): Good - No shower gel, not shampoo. But provided upon request.
- Theodora (10/5): Peaceful retreat in a tropical paradise. - We had the perfect stay at Villas D'Or.
If you are looking for privacy in a beachfront property which is close to the village, this is the place for you.
Each villa is spacious, extremely clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The garden is extremely well looked after by the staff and lots of beautiful birds came to visit in the morning which made my daughter so happy. The beach is steps away from each villa and you can easily walk to the village on low tide via the beach (about 15mins).In general if you want to explore the rest of the island I recommend hiring a car. The sea was affected by the northern wind during our stay so it was quite choppy but I am sure it is very pleasant when the wind calms down. It is impressive how nicely the property is camouflaged behind the bushes and therefore you can barely see the villas when you are at the seaside, very respectful of the environment and very harmonious. The village has super markets and restaurants (including local take aways). Mr Pierre is a wonderful person, he is always available to help with organising car rentals, taxis or excursions. He is contactable by WhatsApp and generally very accessible. Mrs Georgette has also been extremely kind and so have the rest of the staff. I wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely come back. Nothing
- Shlomit (9/5): Superb -
- Ivo (8/5): Great accommodation, situated on a beautiful beach - Spacious rooms with fully equipped kitchen. Staff very friendly and they have a turn down service everyday.
The manager Pierre was great from the moment we arrived.
Cleaning ladies always very respectful and friendly.
Property is also within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, money exchange spots and much more
- Kendi (10/5): Superb place - This place is just perfect, including the manager, cleaners, gardeners. Its beautiful, nice quiet place, perfect with kids. Location, if you want to go to shopcor rwtaurabts its 1km walk. But otherwise its als plus because its super quiet, only wave sounds.
- Artemij (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ekaterina (10/5): Your private paradise - It's a really great place, very calm and beautiful. The personal does everything to make your stay unforgettable. The villas are just perfect, spotlessly clean, comfortable and have really everything you might think of. Starting with a small basin at the entrance to wash your feet from sand and up to mosquito coils for your everning relax on the terrace.
The villas are located on a reasonable distance from each other so no one is disturbing you there. The park is thoroughly taken care of, the restaurants and take-aways are at a pleasant walking distance (walking on the beach, wich is an additional advantage). As for the sands flies - we didn't meet them. Though the beach there is not the best on Praslin, so we didn't swim there a lot. Though it is just perfect for relaxing on the beach chairs listening to the waves If I had to mention something that would be the shower. It is fixed rigidly and there is no way you can change the direction of the water flow. Which is not a big deal, of course
- Nina (6/5): The owner is very nice and helpful. His wife prepared us a dinner and it was delicious. - The location was good, right next to the beach, but there was a lot of sea grass, so we have to go to another beach. The rooms a ok, but a little bit outdated.
we also didn’t like the breakfast… only toast and fruit.
- Alessandro (10/5): Definitely coming back - Everything was just perfect, the service (the host), the garden, the kitchen the sliding door that opens-up the living room to the veranda. I would just recommend to fix the aircon as it was dripping water on the floor, although you barely need to use it.
- Gaurav (10/5): Perfect location with amazing staff - Staff, size of the villa/suite and location. Super helpful staff, ready to go an extra mile for you. Nothing
- Mario (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stavros (2/5): Very poor -
- Pierre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gergely (10/5): Exceptional - The villas are exeptional Stingrays on the beach
- Siarhei (9/5): Fantastic stay - Wonderful location, amazing beach and garden. Spacious villa, very private. Close to the restaurants. Leaving
- Matthias (9/5): Perfect little getaway - - Secluded location on the beach, lots of space between villas, very quiet
- Great service, managed to book tours and a car with reception very easily
- Good air conditioning and WiFi
- had a fridge cooking facilities etc - Breakfast was good but a bit light
- Helen (10/5): Gorgeous property offering first class accommodation on the beachfront in Praslin! - We loved this property and felt it was perfectly located on Praslin Island - a short walk down the beach and you are in a lovely little village that has grocery stores, restaurants and more! Our stunning 2 bedroom en-suite villa was a few steps away from the most beautiful white sandy beach. The villa was roomy and well equipped, offering more than enough space for 2 couples or a family of 4. Pierre and his staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful and always on hand to assist if needed. A highlight of our stay was the totally delicious Creole style home cooked meal arranged by Pierre and the ladies, highly recommend it!! If you are considering Les Villas D'Or - make the booking - you will not be disappointed!! Absolutely nothing! We give Les Villas D'Or a perfect score!
- Mohammad (7/5): Good -
- Annalisa (10/5): Wonderful place - A paradise! Staff very nice with Pierre, the manager, very helpful and friendly! Wonderful accommodation with everything you may need. Stunning beach and sea! NOTHING!
- Raghuwanshi (8/5): Very good -
- Alessandro (9/5): Wonderful stay - Pierre and his team were very helpful and accommodating. The villa was beautiful, the location too and the beach was absolutely dreamy. Would highly recommend
- Anton (8/5): Very good -
- Gábor (10/5): Exceptional - Large parking, nice courtyard, nice apartments. Nice staff. Especially Pierre. They help you with everything.
Good breakfast. Access to the beach. Wifi is not free. This could be included in the price as a basic service.
- Julian (9/5): Superb - Very nice stay
- Anne-sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Ágnes (8/5): Lovely hotel at the beach though overpriced - Our room and the whole hotel area was beautiful. I loved the beachfront. We could use bikes and kayaks for free. Breakfast was quite poor and I think overall it was a bit overpriced for its value.
- Vikki (10/5): Paradise! - What an amazing tranquil, peaceful oasis. These villas were simply beautiful. Inside they were perfectly laid out and decorated. The doors folded all the way back to have inside/outside living and connect with the nature. There is a lovely pool in the very well maintained gardens.
The location next to beach at Cote D’or….wow!! It was like having your own personal beach. The beach here was our favourite on Praslin. We even cancelled a trip just to stay here, relax and enjoy its beauty.
If you get the tide times right you can walk all the way into town along the beach which was lovely. As its about a 15 min walk into town (road is dark but safe) call ahead and check if restaurants will drop you home, most we went to did.
Would highly recommend Leo’s takeaway as you go into town - excellent chilli prawns for about £5. For a more upscale dinner book Les Laurier Eco Hotel, one of the best meals we had in the Seychelles. Paradise Sun Hotel at the other end of beach had a fab beach bar for frozen cocktails! My only complaint….we should have booked longer!!! 3 days was simply not enough.
- Sabine (10/5): heaven on earth - everything. It’s just my paradise on earth. Imagine a wonderful and breezy super equipped hut with the most comfy seats in front of them. imagine all this in a very tranquil park next to a dreamy beach out of this earth. And then imagine the friendliest people you ever met that are welcoming you there… well, that’s exactly how it feels to be there.
came for the second time and wasn’t disappointed . all my love to the people who made this possible and cared every day for us. lol … how could you be disappointed in Paradise ?
- Nadezhda (10/5): Wonderful - "Amazing place! Totally recommend it. The staff was friendly and supportive, it was quiet, private, romantic, just like in paradise. You need a rent a car if you want to explore the island and to go out of the resort.
- Yuri (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bola (10/5): Beautiful villa and you feel the Seychelles at most! - Very beautiful villas and beach at Cote d'Or. In fact I really regret to have stayed there so short period.
We have rented a car in Praslin and there is parking place in front of the villa! The staff (Pierre) is super friendly! You can see there the turtles, there are also restaurants next to villa. Nothing
- Tamar (7/5): Beautiful but they should put up mosquito nets on the windows - The cabin and the landscape were beautiful and inviting. The kitchen was great, The location is okay, a 10-15 minute walk to the village (there are definitely closer properties that are also on the beach). Anisette was really nice and so was the rest of the staff. There are too many bugs all over. Considering that that's the situation, I would expect mosquito nets on the windows but the top parts of ALL the windows are open and everything can just fly in. We also had ants all over on our second day there, even though we sprayed the cabin the night before.
The only AC is in the bedroom and they give you a little sheet for a blanket and another small one in the closet which is annoying.
There is no bar at the property, which I knew beforehand, but it's super inconvenient if you just want to hang out with an iced coffee or breakfast on the property.
All in all, I don't think the price we paid was worth it.
- Malle (9/5): Superb -
- Sigrun (9/5): All together we loved it - we also brought our own mosquito net. - Close to the beach, nice terrace, nicely taken care of the whole property, so many coconuts 🥰 Because of security reasons you had to shut all the windows, during day and night, so no sleeping time with open windows. Air conditioning didn’t smell so good
- Akula (9/5): Superb -
- Martins (9/5): Superb -
- Marietta (10/5): Perfect Place with the nicest hosts - This is just a beautiful place: spacious „villes“ in colonial style each with a grand front porch facing the ocean on the most beautiful beach of Praslin and maybe the Seychelles. A little secluded, which is just perfect, but in walking distance to everything you need. We loved it so much that we came back on the same vacation. But there is one „little“ thing that makes it extra special: the people. Pierre, his wife and their staff of 12 are the nicest people ever. Always friendly, smiling, making you feel at home and welcome. Thanks to all of you! Especially our „friend“ working in the garden every morning and sharing a coconut with us 🙂. And thanks to Pierre who is always there for his guests. Have fun and relax, everybody and enjoy this place as much as we did!
- Cornelia (9/5): Absolutely recommended - Simply amazing. Very nice staff. Lovely lush park. Beach is clean and quiet. Very happy we stayed at this property. Breakfast with lots of carbs. Eggs would have been nice.
- Gulben (10/5): A great place to unwind and relax! - It was a great place to unwind and relax for a few days. The staff were excellent, great service and always a smiling face, helpful and considerate in every way. Very much exceeded our expectations for sure! We stayed in One bedroom bungalow and even for a couple it was still very spacious, had everything we needed. The hotel is at one end of Anse Volbert, although it is a public beach, it felt like we had a private beach to ourselves. We could borrow bicycles to go to close by markets, take away, ATMs (8-10 mins max). Would definitely stay here again.
- Heather (10/5): 4 Night Stay in October - The bungalows are lovely and super comfortable but highlight for me was the beach and location. Just stunning and far better than we were expecting. Pierre and his team were all super friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The pool is pretty small and not the highlight of the property. But with the fabulous sea to swim in on your doorstep this was not a concern for us
- Auricu (10/5): Beautiful villas in Praslin - The sea front location, the staff, in special the manager, Pierre, is a very kind and friendly person. He helped us a lot ! The villa was very clean with all the necessary things. Everything was fine
- Elaine (10/5): Great service. Will stay again - The villas were beautiful clean and spacious. And very good location to the beach…..staff were so helpful and lovely I feel they could have had more range of food as we had to travel for this. They have breakfast, but it is minimal
- Axel (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and quiet The only thing I could mention here is that the bedroom didn’t have black out curtains, so you tend to wake up soon after sunrise.
- Sandra (10/5): This is paradise ;) - This place is just unreal, beautiful, especially nice situated in a beautiful garden setting, well equipped apartments, very clean, direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches, which is never crowded. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well as the owner Pierre, who checks regularly if everything is good, help is needed. There is really nothing I can think of
- Noa (6/5): Pierre was really nice, the local dinner that his family prepared was great, but the missing AC really ruined our stay - The cabin was large, close to the sea, nice balcony, nice garden No AC in the living room and kitchen, only in the bedroom. It was hard since it was hot and humid. And we needed to fight the warmness as well as the flies and bugs.
The closest village is 15 minutes walk and there’s no where closer to buy stuff.
- Sven (7/5): Good -
- Gitte (10/5): A great place to stay and we loved everything while being there - The place is absolutely one of the best places to stay at Praslin – the service and friendly staff (we got some good recommendations for excursions and enjoyed a delicious local creole dinner served in the villa), the villas (spacious and cozy, cool veranda, nice surroundings) and the facilities (pool, bikes, kayaks) the location with the beautiful and good beach (perfect for swimming and kayak), the distance to the small town and shops (possible to walk on the beach all the way or by the road). Should we come back to Praslin in the future, we would definitely come back to Les Villas D’or, and we will surely and highly recommend this place to others. We simply loved it all.
- Elsy (9/5): Amazing - I loved everything! The little villa, the garden, the access to the beach, close to everything and mostly Haidy at the welcome desk, shes lovely!
- Prithvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tubalemye (10/5): Relaxed honeymoon trip - Never could I have anticipated a stay as comfortable, homely, fun and personalized as the one my husband and I enjoyed at Villa D’or . Pierre, the manager, and his staff (shout out Heidi and Valerie😍) run the hotel in such an efficient and fantastic way. We were lucky enough to have a wonderful fish, creole sauce and rice dinner prepared by the chef and it was just beautiful. The villa was extremely airy, clean and a LITERAL 40 second walk to the beach. Breakfast was also served promptly at whatever time we requested (the day before) and we Remain in awe of how time efficient the staff are. Pierre also made us feel like the only guests, while no doubt giving everyone the same personalized hospitality that we’ve now come to associate with Seychellois people. 20 out of 10 for this stay. Absolutely nothing
- Leskiv (9/5): Very cozy place - Very nice Villas integrated into nature. Each has its own terrase. You can enjoy the nature directly from your villa. They are also projected in a way that you are not disturb by the other guests. The beach is located couple of meters away from the villas. Cleaning was done every day. This place is definitely worth its money.
- Jeetendra (10/5): Exceptional - The manager Mr. Pierre Dogley was the best host ever. Helped us plan our limited time at the island. The property was flawless.
- Fjorida (6/5): not worth the value - The propriety is beachfront in the middle of beautiful nature and very calm “Overbooking issue” For a 3 night stay we didn’t appreciate the fact that we had to change our room after the first night because of overbooking( it was really uncomfortable for us because Pierre the manager informed us at the arrival. We were exhausted after a flight + ferry and with a baby and we had no choice but to accept) We also asked a late check out and it was refused. Be careful because overbooking is apparently a marketing strategy of the property.
“Breakfast “ just don’t pay for it, it’s a jokeee check the photo
- Xenios (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (10/5): Top - Everything, amazing time spent in villas d'or. Pierre really helped us to organize everything, very recommended!
- Angela (9/5): Nice villa in a great spot - location top in one of the nicest anse, spacious villa and super service by Pierre and staff. They can support with car rental and all the bookings needed
- Radu (9/5): perfect location, perfect beach, perfect host - perfect location right on the beach with enough intimacy for each villa and tons of vegetation as the villas are basically in a garden/ forrest. Pierre was an amazing host that helped with everything including a surprise dinner at the villa for my wife's birthday. Nice surprise with the giant tortoise pen, didn't know it had one. very close to the bus station. The beach is the best we've seen in Praslin and La Digue for swimming and especially for kids as it's sandy and shallow and without waves (when we've been there). though there is a supermarket ten minutes away and you can go on the beach to it it's hard to carry drinking water in the sun back to the accomodation.
- Shani (5/5): Passable - THERE IS NO A/C !!! THERE IS ONLY IN THE ROOM
