We had some issues with construction starting extremely early each day of our stay, however the staff did their best to rectify this. Lee was very kind and helpful!

Jana (10/5): Perfect for a relaxed holiday - I loved the green and calm atmosphere with lots of trees and plants around the pool. Pool was big enough to swim some lanes twice a day, and never too crowded. Spacious and very clean room with everything I needed, plus balcony with wonderful green views. The welcome decoration on the bed, made from fresh flowers, was gorgeous. Good location close to shops and restaurants, perfect for exploring Angkor. Very quiet at night. Super friendly and helpful staff, especially Mr Lee. Food in the restaurant was delicious and affordable, good selection of wines. A bit more variety for breakfast would be great. Maybe when I come to visit next time.
Amy (8/5): Friendly staff and close to the centre - Staff were extremely friendly and smiley, we had a lovely welcome from them. There was a lovely ‘happy honeymoon’ spelled out on the bed with fresh flowers also! The pool was very relaxing and the room was spacious :) it is a short walk to the centre of town! Unfortunately the shower didn’t produce hot water and the tv in the room did work (the staff tried to explain it was regarding a government rule which we didn’t understand). We were initially placed in a ground floor room even though we had booked a pool view with balcony, this was rectified the following day. There was a lot of noisy building work on the property which sometimes started at 6.30am, had we known this we would have probably booked elsewhere:(

Rooms were big, clean and comfortable! Unbelievable value for money. They set up a small tour with tuk tuk and an English guide (Lucky - her name), she was brilliant. So knowledgeable about the history of the temples. We learnt so much and she was super friendly and even let us stop at apopo on the way back! Definitely recommend
Pía (8/5): Agradable - La atención es estupenda. Son muy atentos a todo, y muy amables. La pieza gigante, muy cómoda, y tenía de todo. La carta del restaurant, pero por lo siguiente. Soy vegetariana, y las opciones vegetarianas no tenían proteína. Y habían descripciones que no cumplen con la foto. El sandwich barbecue veggie no sabía a ello, y no era baguette, que eso indicaba en la descripción. Cuando pedí el tofu con gengibre, el tofu estaba recalentado y un poco añejo. Otros platos eran muy ricos, pero sin proteína. La cama era bastante dura, pero pude dormir igual. Ofrecieron cambiarla pero no lo consideré necesario.

Restaurant 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. This is a wonderful place. I really want to come back again. It's a pity that I was only there for two nights. Don't make the same mistake I did when I wanted to extend my stay – they were completely booked with other lucky guests. So, book for a week – you won't regret it.

Special thanks to Mr Lee and Ms Tan Davit whose assistance during our stay was greatly appreciated. Very clean rooms, short walk to local amenities and pub street and a relaxed, quiet atmosphere away from the busy streets. Would definitely stay here again!

CarolynA916 (10/5): Book here if you want the perfect stay in Siem Reap! - This was our second stay at The Moon Residence & Spa - we loved it so much last year that we came back again this year, this time for 2 weeks! The staff became like our family, taking care of every little thing for us, helping us to have a great balance of rest & relaxation and sightseeing. It was great to go out of a morning then when it got too hot to go back for Happy Hour $2 cocktails (3pm-6pm) by the beautiful pool, then have dinner at the restaurant for only $4.50 for curry & rice dishes, as well as lots of western options if you wanted. They even had a special for $19 for a lovely bottle of French red wine and came with a free steak dinner! We ate here heaps, including fresh salads, fresh fruit & lots of ice in our drinks and never got sick at all. Being able to have 2 hour massages at the spa for only $20 where it was lovely and safe & clean, meant that you could have more than one! It is a short walk to Pub Street and the Old Markets & Night Markets, or just pick up a tuk tuk out the front. If you’re coming to Siem Reap then don’t scroll past, just book The Moon Residence & Spa and you won’t regret it!

Das Personal, insbesondere Mr. Lee waren enorm hilfsbereit! Ein ganz kleines Minus ist die Qualität des WLans in den Zimmern, was aber bei dem Gesamteindruck völlig untergeht.

Stephanie (10/5): This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in my life! - We loved the quietness of the location and easy walking distance to the markets, restaurants, and stores. If it was too hot to walk, we just tuk tukked everywhere! The staff (from front desk to waitstaff) were super friendly and helpful. They exude warmth in their every day exchanges. The massage greatly helped my sciatica and my pain melted away. We couldn’t have asked for a better tuk tuk driver who drove us two days to the temples. What a chill guy!

Pool was clean and cooling. We booked a guided tour with the hotel and the organization was awesome. Our guide Naga did a great job explaining us the history! Wifi was a bit weak.

Pekala (10/5): I'm picky, but this hotel and staff made me fall in love with Cambodia - This hotel and its staff were amazing. I stayed there for 7 nights, then I changed hotels to a 5 star hotel nearby, but after one night I cancelled it because the swimming pool was dirty and it was extremely noisy, so I've booked another 5 nights at the Moon Residence and Spa, because it was much, much better. The pool area was very relaxing and quiet, with a soft background music coming from the restaurant, birds chirping and the water cascading from the swimming pool was making me feel like an ok cloud nine. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The staff are all one of th kindest and nicest people I've met so I hope the owner of this hotel is looking after them well cause they are the one who are making this place so much better than any other hotels around. They use reusable bottles instead of plastic ones which is great 👍 The location is the best, just a short walk to the old Market and night market area and I've seen other hotels are showing incorrect locations even here on booking.com so please cross-check that with Google before booking. I'm normally not easy to please and I'm rather picky but this hotel and people exceed my expectations. You made me fall in love with Cambodia ❤️ Parents who allow kids running around and shouting, but that's not the fault of the hotel, but parents alone who forget that there are other people staying in the hotel.

I would like to mention Pich and Tola for their extra special attention. It was my partners birthday while we were here and they made a special decoration on the bed and brought a delicious fruit cake. We hoped to extend our stay but unfortunately they were full (and I know why!)
