- Glenn (6/5): - We stayed here for 3 nights. Our main decision to book here was based on the fact it stated there was a swimming pool before we booked. On arrival once they found our reservation we were notified that no swimming pool actually exists apart from in a next town somewhere. Very disappointing. Blame was put on Hotels.com by staff. Saying every time they tried to contact them it would take 20 minutes of their time to try and get through. Personally i think they need to get this updated asap. We travelled over 5 and a half hours to get to this hotel for its leisure facilities. They had none and in middle of nowhere so nothing to do in the area. Thankfully we travelled out each day to other towns but would not stay again. We were also told our room would be cleaned. In fact the towels were still wet from previous use and the sheets looked like they had been refolded and not replaced. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night. Kebab off the specials board. Not impressed with what we received for what we paid. Barely any meat on a baguette with white sauce all over it.

- Florian (10/5): Nettes Team und gute Zimmer - Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Team Obwohl wir auf die letzte Minute kamen, haben wir noch ein leckeres Abendessen bekommen. Wir wurden beim Essen und beim Frühstück immer gefragt ob alles passt und wir nochwas bräuchten. Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
- Sylvia (6/5): - Anders als angegeben, gibt es kein Spielzimmer, keine Spiele, keinen Spielplatz, keinen Außenpool.(Das war sehr entäuschend ) Es gibt auch nur ein kleines Restaurant und einen Frühstücksraum.Das Essen war ok. Die tägliche Zimmereinigung fand am 3.Tag des Aufenthalts zum 1.Mal statt. Im Hotel bekommt man den Hinweis, dass eine Buchung direkt über das Hotel am Besten ist.Kartenzahlungen sind nur begrenzt möglich ( einige Karten werden wegen hoher Gebühren nicht akzeptiert) Vazit: Die Beschreibung des Hotels sollte überarbeitet werden.
- Rebecca (10/5): We'll surely come back - We stayed for the third Advent weekend in the family room (sleeps 4). The interiour is a little old-fashioned but all was very clean and nicely done up. The service was excellent, staff and owners are very friendly, flexible, caring and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of cold food and one hot dish that changed daily. Good variety of fruit, juices and hot drinks.

- Anke (6/5): - Leider wird mehr versprochen, als gehalten. Zumeinen gibt es weder einen Pool noch versprochene Hausschuhe und auch keine Disigntoilettenartikel. Was die Kissenauswahl betrifft, musste ich 3 mal nachfragen wegen einem Kehlkopfkissen und konnte mich glücklich schätzen, dass ich eines bekam. Wenn man nach Hilfe für Busfahrplan gefragt hat, bekommt man nur die Antwort, dass man nur Auto fährt und nicht Bus und mir nicht helfen kann oder wahrscheinlich nicht will. Sehr schade! Es war auch leider nicht, wie versprochen eine Massage oder ein Friseurbesuch möglich. Das Frühstück war soweit gut, leider musste man mit lauwarmen Rührei sich begnügen. Hinter dem Hotel ist es sehr ungepflegt, um nicht zu sagen unsauber ohne Sitzmöglichkeiten bei Regen, da es keinerlei Überdachung gibt, nur einen Regenschirm kann man sich nehmen. Bei Ansprache beim Checkout wird man nur darauf hingewiesen, dass man nicht über Expedia, sondern nur direkt buchen soll. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel nur Gästen, die nicht so hohe oder geringe Ansprüche haben. Leider....

- Maibritt (8/5): Super service - Vi havde den store fornøjelse at overnatte på hotellet i 3 nætter, fantastisk værtspar, der virkelig gjorde alt for deres gæster. Værelset stort, flot indrettet. Rent og pænt over det hele.

- Francesca (8/5): - Wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Das Frühstück war gut, es hätte auch in der Woche Gemüse geben können. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Hotel ist für einen Kurztrip eine Empfehlung wert.
- Thekla (10/5): - 3 Personen, 1 Nacht, Doppelzimmer mit zwei Schlafgelegenheiten....CheckIn ruckzuck, Begrüßung hat uns Herzlich Willkommen geheißen und uns aufs Zimmer begleitet...daraufhin über div. Dinge aufgeklärt.....die Einrichtung ist etwas älter, aber sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt... Abendessen im Hotel sehr köstlich und reichlich....Bedienung flott und super nett.....Frühstück absolut ausreichend....es gibt immer Menschen, die etwas zu meckern haben, egal ob's das Essen oder die Unterbringung betrifft....die Umgebung ist nicht reizvoll...sehr abgelegen und sehr sehr dörflich...für unsere Zwecke voll passend, da wir den nächsten Tag an der Rspbodetslsperre mit div. EVENTS verbracht haben....ca. 20 min Fahrzeit mit dem Auto entfernt...im Großen und Ganzen haben wir unser super wohl gefühlt.....Harald und Jerry plus Personal haben für jeden Gast ein nettes Wort.....
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Ich war rundum zufrieden. Ich war für zwei Nächte mit meinem Hund hier. Der Empfang, sowie das gesamte Team waren sehr freundlich und sehr nett. Man hat sich von Anfang an herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Mein Einzelzimmer war wirklich sehr sauber und absolut ausreichend eingerichtet. Kaffee-/Teestation, großer Fernseher, Schreibtisch mit bequemen Stuhl/Sessel, vor allem aber ein sehr, sehr bequemes Bett. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und lecker. Rührei, Cerealien, Müsli, Brot, Brötchen, Croissants und diverses anderes leckeres Gebäck war alles vorhanden. Süße Aufstriche, Wurst, Käse und vielerlei mehr ließen keine Wünsche offen. Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Kakao, diverse Säfte, hier müsste eigentlich jeder glücklich und satt werden. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das echt leckere Essen im Restaurant. Hier hat für meinen Geschmack einfach alles gestimmt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis echt super. Das einzig negative was ich hier ansprechen muss, ist die Tatsache, daß ich leider nur 2x Essen konnte und mich so nicht weiter durch die echt leckere Speisekarte probieren konnte. Aber das werde ich auf jeden Fall nachholen, denn ich werde definitiv wieder herkommen um hier zu übernachten.
- Isabell (10/5): - Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet. Im Zimmer gab es eine Kaffee-/Teestation. Das Personal im Hotel sowie im Restaurants waren allesamt sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Frühstück auch sehr gut und eine gute Auswahl. Das Essen abends im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Es gibt sogar vegane Optionen für die Burger. Im Ort selber ist nicht viel los, aber ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die Therme in Thale ist ein 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Ohne Auto vlt nicht ganz optimal.

- Torben (8/5): Fint ophold i hjertet af Harzen - Fint ophold i dejlige omgivelser i Harzen. Hotellet har fin krostue/restaurant med udemærket mad og udvalg. Værelserne er rummelige og kvaliteten er fin til prisen. Eneste minus er, at man ikke er meget for at modtage Visa/Mastercard pga. gebyrer - det er lidt træls.

- jan (8/5): - Hyggeligt lille hotel, midt i byen. Pænt værelse og en rimelig god morgenmad. Ved siden af en smuk gammel trækirke og lkke langt fra den gamle østtyske grænse hvor man kan se det gamle hegn og vagttårne.

Som så mange andre steder, manglede der også her et lille køleskab på værelset, hvilket er rart, når sommeren er hed. Vi var på gennemrejse, og der lå det perfekt. Byen var helt mennesketom udover hotellet. Eneste sted at spise i byen på det tidspunkt var hotellet og det var udmærket mad og dejlig stemning. God service fra værter og personale. Kan varmt anbefales!

- Allan (8/5): Almost perfect stay - We had a perfect stay. Well Almost. We were cold the last night. But taled to the owner at he told us that they wanted to renew the heater cause it was old. Service was in top and they toke all the time to explain us the food menu and all the time to make us feel welcome :-)
